The New York Times Claims the Boy Crisis Is a ‘Myth’ – Let’s Destroy That Lie

I'm old enough to remember when the New York Times was considered an authority of reason, of journalistic integrity, and was in fact held up as the beacon for the First Amendment with regard to things like freedom of speech and press. But now, the New York Times, it's devolved into a cesspool of misinformation, misdirection, and toxic misandry so deep even Jacqu Kusau wouldn't dare dive into it. What used to be a beacon of journalistic integrity has now become a glorified Tumblr or Pinterest blog in a pants suit.

Nowadays, the Times does nothing more than push ideological narratives over facts, feelings over actual evidence, and feminist fiction over observable reality. It's not designed to inform, it's designed to indoctrinate. And today I'm going to be talking about yet another perfect example of all of that. In fact, I'm going to show how they should just change the name on the mast head from New York Times to butter. Cuz let me tell you, they're on a roll.

So the other day, the Times released yet another in a series of recent posts showing their blatant sexist beliefs and overt pushing of the feminist anti-male, anti-boy agenda. This time by talking about the ongoing crisis of education where it's failing boys. In fact, so overt is their sexism, they went straight to the point by saying the boy crisis doesn't exist. Well, more precisely, they said it isn't a big deal or worth talking about. Which is why they titled the article the boy crisis is overblown. And we're going to explore that article and go through it line by line to show just how pieces like this aren't harmless op-eds, but instead propaganda pipelines that gaslight half the population while actually pretending to care. I'm going to show how the New York Times isn't asking questions, it's silencing the ones that matter and how for boys, it ends up making them the collateral damage on the altar of progress. So, let's dive in and dismantle this nonsensical rant brick by brick.

[Music] [Applause] Ah, yes. Another day, another radical feminist writing a condescending, cherrypicked feminism-fueled diatribe. In this case, one that is pretending boys are just lazy while ignoring the educational system steamrolling them. So, as I've said, we're tearing apart this opinion piece written by one Jessica Gross. Hope I'm saying that right. That is so drenched in denial it could be used to waterproof a roof.

And Miss Gross jumps right into the deep end of denial, saying that for the past few years, she's heard endlessly about the educational crisis for boys. Well, yeah, cupcake, because it actually exists and it's a very serious issue that has very serious complications for society as a whole and spoiler alert for women as well. But see, that doesn't fit her feels, doesn't fit her feminist misandrist mindset, which is why she goes so far as to call any discussion of it reactionary. She even goes so far as to pull out a caustic comment about Jordan Peterson because well, in her mind, he's representative of all men or women for that matter who dares to care about men and their struggles. Cuz nothing screams "let's have an honest discussion and debate about boys and their educational struggles" like pulling your misguided gender-centric politics into it. I mean, that alone shows her credibility level is on par with Jeffrey Epstein at best.

But she doesn't stop there, my friends. Oh, no, no, no. She goes on to say, and I quote, "I started thinking about the stories I had heard from older friends and relatives, men and women, about their school experiences." Okay, Felicia. Oops. Sorry, Jessica. Let's start your little misandrist treatise by going straight to the feminine playbook, page one, which is to insert inane anecdotes and assumptions into the argument. Insert straw men. Insert assumptions and anecdotes based on your memory. A memory that couldn't possibly be clouded by your feelings and sexist beliefs. Right? And it's also straight out of the feminine playbook where she makes it abundantly clear that it's all about the feelings. Her feelings, facts be damned. Not data, not longitudinal trends. Nope. We're going to go by vibes from grandma and Uncle Frank about how nuns used to smack kids with rulers. This is the kind of argument you'd expect from someone in a wine mom Facebook group, not someone who's holding themselves out as an intellectual authority on a global issue.

Let's be clear here. Using stories from the 1950s to dismiss what boys are facing in 2025 is like comparing polio to TikTok addiction. Different world, different rules, different consequences. Back then you acted out, you got whacked. Now you act simply like a little boy and you're labeled with ADHD, drugged into submission, and suspended. But yeah, sure, nuns with rulers.

But here's the thing, she doesn't even get it right in her little fantasy. She claims that back in the day, boys and girls were made to sit for long periods of time. No, Jesse, that wasn't the case in the 1950s. That's the case now. Now, when things like recess and physical education have been removed from the curriculum and replaced by teachers standing in the front of the room, droning on and on for hours on end. And if a child can't handle it, especially a boy, well, we're going to get to that shortly. That comment alone should show you how utterly clueless she is.

But apparently, she really wants to drive in the deep end to drive that point home because then she shills on saying there's not much solid evidence that boys do better with male teachers. Really, not much evidence? Maybe on planet feminist utopia there isn't. But here on planet Earth, well, there's more than enough solid evidence going back over 50 years to sink a battleship. In her world, all that data, all those books written, you know, the ones she's never bothered to read, well, they simply don't exist. Got it, Jessica. Cool. And I guess based on her argument, it's probably then fair to say that there's not much solid evidence that getting a PhD in women's studies is going to land you a six-figure job either. But hey, y'all still do it.

This is the classic anti-male, anti-boy feminist slight of hand. The one that defies logic by saying, "Because we can't prove with 100% certainty that male teachers help boys, we're just going to ignore the blatant absence of male role models in their lives." You want to talk about underperformance? Start with the fact that one in four boys grows up without a father. Then put them in a classroom with 12 years of female teachers, many of whom are just like yourself, darling, and openly view masculinity as toxic. What do you expect? And the cherry on top, it is well documented, well proven that these same teachers, especially the female ones, hand out higher disciplinary actions to boys, give them lower subjective grades, and fail to accommodate any of the differences in how boys learn. But sure, yeah, the male role model thing, that's inconclusive. Child, please.

Next, she goes into full hyperbolic and excuse mode by stating the teaching force has been majority female for over 100 years. Okay. And oh, right, right, right. So, because it's been bad for boys, we should just shrug. You yourself claimed earlier that boys were forced to sit still for hours on end back in the 1950s, citing it as a bad thing. So now you're admitting even with your faulty premise that it's due to female teachers' failures. Are you saying female teachers should be held accountable for those failures? Yeah. I didn't think so. I mean, you yourself stated, and I quote, "I've heard so many tales of nuns hitting kids with rulers." Okay. Well, my little chickadee, last I checked, nuns were female, not male. So, which is it? Is the teaching force being majority female for the last hundred years a good thing or a bad thing? 'Cause it can't be both. I'd love to hear your doublespeak as you try and wiggle your way out of that one. And I'm sure you'll try with that doublespeak. And of course, saying, "I'm a raging misogynist who shouldn't be listened to because, well, let's be honest, I'm right and you know it." Your entire argument doubles back on itself like a dog chasing its tail. It's loud. It's frantic. Might even be a little amusing to watch, but in the end, it's going nowhere. Sure, you can try and are talking out of both sides of your mouth, but in the end, you aren't actually making an argument. You're making an excuse. An excuse for the continuing mistreatment of boys. You know, the one you're also claiming doesn't exist or is, and I quote, "overblown." Seriously, the lack of reason, logic, and ability to comprehend anything like this boggles the mind. Sorry, darling, but women dominating K-12 education for a century plus isn't a defense. It's an indictment. You are literally saying that the system was built by women without male perspectives, that it is and has been maintained without male perspectives for over 100 years now. And shocker, it should be a surprise and open to debate that boys are checking out, dropping out, or falling out of college faster than ever. Really, again, all I can say is child, please.

Next, good old Jessica falls back on the next page of the female playbook, which is to misdirect, where she claims men dominate middle and high school leadership. It's the classic, "Look, men exist" argument that feminism uses time and time again. You know, the one where they'll find one little factoid that paints men in a negative way and then ignore all the other factoids that show the opposite. Wage gap myth. Anyone? Sorry, sweetie, but you don't get to point to one male principal or superintendent and then pretend it offsets the fact that 77% of all teachers are women. You don't get to ignore the fact that the actual majority of those who dominate and control what is taught, the actual people molding young minds are women. It's like saying one male nurse balances out a hospital full of female ones. It doesn't, though. We both know that's exactly the argument you throw out time and again. Leadership titles don't matter in the least when the daily experience of boys is shaped by people who, as this very author demonstrates, don't understand them and don't care to, who aren't even willing to acknowledge they have a problem, one that exists, even though it does.

But does she stop there? No. Turns the page again and pulls out another classic feminist trick. She pulls out the drum roll please, a study. Oh, not a reputable study. Not one that aligns with all the other studies that show differently. Nope. She trots out the one study that supports her mindset, her toxicity, and then treats it as gospel. It's the feminist bubble and echo chamber on steroids. In this case, she trots out a 2021 study that says female teachers help boys more than male ones. And that in her mind is the study, the one and only study, the definitive study that answers everything. All the others, they don't count. Hell, in her feminist fantasy world, they don't even exist. But if they do, they're wrong. Because this one study that runs contrary to the dozens, indeed hundreds of others is right, and those are all wrong. It shows how closed-mindedness and bigoted the feminist cult-like mindset is, and how it prevents women from using things like, oh, I don't know, logic and reason. How it teaches them to operate solely based on their feelings. How it doesn't deal with reality, but instead creates a mythical fantasy world to live in. I mean, come on, man. Or should I say woman? You're citing a study done by the very same system that rewards compliant behavior, that drugs boys, makes them want to sit still, and then rewards them if they have neat handwriting. That system which just happened to find that female teachers who teach in that system reward students who play by those rules, their rules. Color me shocked. I mean, my god, it comes as a total surprise that a study conducted by feminist idealists, aka those running the show and doing so within a female-dominated, female-centric framework, would come to the conclusion that female teachers are doing it better. Who would have thunk it? What's next? Are we going to be testing which fish, female or male, swims better in a tank filled with estrogen? The game is rigged. The metrics are rigged. And women like this are simply too blind to see that as a result, the conclusion is rigged. Apparently, it's not within their capabilities. This isn't science. It's circular logic with lipstick on it. And darlings, you can stick all the lipstick you want on that pig, but it's still a pig.

Then, of course, dear old Jessica has to go into the "but, but, but girls have been outperforming boys since before they could vote." You know, the old boys are stupid campaign, the one that's been around forever, the one that had t-shirts all over the place with it. I'm betting this chick has more than a few of those t-shirts lying on the floor in her closet. She rants, "But but but girls have been outperforming boys since before they could vote." Great. So again, you're admitting we've got a 100-plus year old systemic issue on our hands and nothing's been done about it. That's not a gotcha, sweetheart. That's a confession. You're right. Girls have outperformed boys academically for the past 50 years or so. But it's not because girls are smarter, but because the entire system is optimized for how girls operate. It's specifically designed to advance girls and suppress boys. It's specifically oriented to ensure that girls succeed and boys fail. You know, the whole sit quietly, obey, regurgitate, organize, conform paradigm that you yourself have admitted not only existed a 100 years ago, but still exists today. You want to know why girls succeed in school? Simple. Because school was built to reward female-coded behaviors and punish male-coded ones.

Remember earlier when I mentioned how boys have been punished for being, well, boys? You know how they were whacked with rulers? To use your example? Well, now we don't whack boys with rulers. Instead, we tell them to sit still, shut up, stop being aggressive, or to put it another way, stop being boys. And when they don't, we don't whack them with rulers anymore. Oh no. Instead, we drug them into a stupor to get them to behave. We force them to take mind-altering drugs whose long-term effects are seriously up for debate for years and then blame them for our doing so. The first time a boy acts out, in other words, acts exactly as a boy would or should, out comes the ADHD diagnosis and medication tray. It's blaming the victim by expecting the boys to conform to what the teachers want, what the school system wants, and what society has decided it wants because it's been propagandized to believe that's what it wants. It's expecting the boys to meet the educators where they are at instead of expecting the educators to meet the boys where they are at. Why? Because the system doesn't care about boys in the least. It only cares about itself and pushing a narrative, a narrative of feminism and misandry. And it's the very proof of the anti-boy, anti-male bias that exists in education at every single level. It's proof that education has failed boys and not only refuses to do anything about it, but refuses to even acknowledge it. And this piece of propaganda our little princess Jessica has written only goes to prove it further.

Because as if that's not all bad enough, she then doubles down on her propaganda by doing what women and feminists have done from day one. Turning the page in the playbook and saying it didn't happen. They deny, deny, deny by saying the myth persists because there's always a market for anti-feminist backlash. Victim mode engaged. Ah, yes. When in doubt, when confronted by facts, when confronted by reality, just scream misogyny. We can't talk about the actual suffering of boys. Oh no, my friends. We can't have a discussion that might threaten that feminist narrative, one that might burst the bubble of the feminist hate that they wallow in. Nope. We need to silence that talk immediately. And the best way to do it is to create a false allegation and label and then stick to anyone who dares to go against it that they are a misogynist.

And she takes it a step further by implying that the real crisis isn't boys failing, but it's that girls are finally getting what they deserve. Aw, you know the classic female manipulation where they take something a man or boy says or something he's going through and then twist it around to make it all about them. It's now part of their DNA to do that. And in this case to say, "How dare anyone suggest we look at the boys being left behind?" To misandrists like this, it is a zero-sum game with no room for ambiguity, no room for honest discussion, and most certainly no room for equality. Nope. It's all about women and girls, and only women and girls. And anyone or anything that takes away from that is just plain misogynistic and hates women. This isn't analysis. It's ideology. It's activism in an op-ed hat. It is nothing short of pure hate, pure evil. And it's right there, front and center in what is supposed to be the paragon of journalism. Hell, a certain doctor who was the minister of propaganda for a terrible regime that killed millions a hundred or so years ago is probably giving them a standing ovation from his seat in hell.

And she then doubles down on her twisting of reality to make it all about the girls by saying, "We should give everyone more recess, not just fidgety boys." Right? Because treating everyone the same always works. Said no intelligent, honest educator ever. When they found that girls were struggling in STEM, we built entire programs, scholarships, and campaigns to help them. And that's fine. We devoted billions upon billions of dollars and hundreds of thousands of hours of time every year to help girls succeed in STEM. But when boys started struggling in reading and writing 50-plus years ago, when boys started struggling in every level and with every metric 50-plus years ago, we washed our hands of it and said, "Eh, let's just give everybody a longer lunch." Funny, isn't it? How y'all love to drone on and on about equality, yet when it comes to actually practicing it, you quickly pivot to claiming it's toxic, misogynistic, and unequal to spend even a single dime or minute of discussion when it isn't about women or girls and only women or girls. Oh, don't believe me? Tell me something, darling. Show me. Show me just one program dedicated to encourage boys to go into say HEAL as in Health Education Administration and Literacy. No, seriously. I don't need a whole bunch of them. I need just one that is running in school districts across the nations as STEM is in literally every single school district. And then if you do actually find one that is dedicated solely to boys and not girls, you know, just like STEM is dedicated solely towards girls and deliberately ostracizes boys, then I want you to show me the budget. Show me the budget as compared to those literally billions upon billions of dollars that has been dedicated towards STEM. But let's be honest, you won't do that because you can't. And not only do you know you can't, but you're actually proud of it. You believe in it. You support it. And it's why you're trying to justify it by wallowing in your hatred, wallowing in your internalized misandry. And thus, you're proving that you are anything but about fairness and equality. You're proving that feminism is anything but about fairness and equality.

This one-size-fits-all garbage. This toxic mindset that is directed towards men and boys 24/7 365 literally from the day they're born till the day they die is exactly why boys are checking out. It's exactly why there is a boy crisis in the first place and that it's anything but overblown. Boys aren't getting help. They're getting gaslit. Gaslit to the point that sadly, in far too many cases, they're resorting to unspeakable violence perpetrated on the very institution that has othered them, that has dismissed them and devalued them. Yeah, I hate to break it to you, but we shouldn't be surprised there are so many shootings in schools. What we should be surprised about is that there aren't more. More because when you dismiss, demean, devalue, and dispose of someone every single day of their lives, you shouldn't be surprised in the least when they act out as a result. But yeah, I know it's the gun, right? Funny, isn't it, that the rise in violence in schools directly correlates to the rise in female supremacy and attention in those very same schools? Look, that's not to dismiss those tragedies or excuse them in any way, but it is putting the blame right where it belongs on those who've created a world, an educational system that blames boys, blames the victims, and refuses to acknowledge or listen to them until they reach a point that they break and then think they have only one option in order to be heard. SAD doesn't even begin to cover it.

And speaking of victim blaming, which this woman clearly wallows in, let's move into her next excuse, which is to of course double down on blaming the victim, 'cause hey, that's okay to do when the victim just happens to have a penis. Where she says, "Maybe boys are just being raised to be lazy." Oh, all right. Now it's the parents' fault. Got it. Fantastic. But it begs the question, just who are those parents? I mean, considering how many boys are being raised by single mothers who've cut the father out, considering how many mothers in actual relationships dominate it when it comes to raising the children, you know, that whole mental load thing you run around whining about. Are we actually saying that mothers are failing? Failing to do their job as mothers, as parents, failing by doing anything and everything they can to remove fathers and their influence from the family, from the equation. Yeah, I know. I know. They're just doing what they can. If only Dad would do more. I've said it before, I'll say it again. Child, please. That delusional mindset may work in your little feminist fantasy world, but for those of us who don't wallow in it, we see right through it.

Let us get this straight. Let's call it what it is. You are trying to dismiss by your own admission 100 years of academic trends, 100 years of a system built entirely around female behavioral norms and a culture that criminalizes boyhood by saying the boys are just socialized to be lazy. That's your take? That's your conclusion? You can't make this up. She's literally saying she thinks boys are relaxing because mommy's going to handle it all. No, sweetie. Boys are zoning out because every system they encounter tells them they're defective, problematic, and privileged all at once. Every woman they encounter spews the very same garbage you are saying, where they blame the boys and the men not just for their problems, but all of the world's problems. And if they dare to speak up, if they dare to push back, well, then you immediately label them as loser radical right-wing misogynist incels who hate women. Yeah. Okay, darling. Projected much? Projecting the reality that in fact it's your woke, radical, left-wing misandrist female mindset that hates men that is really on display here. Yeah, I said it. And I said it because in fact it's 100% true.

Now let's move on to her next fallacy that fits her narrative, but only if you twist it like taffy, which is that Scandinavia does it better. Does it really? At least in the way you want people to believe. 'Cause last I checked, Scandinavia also lets 5-year-olds play outside with axes and climb 15-foot trees. Let's boys be boys and fathers be fathers. Unlike, say, oh, I don't know, here in America where a six-year-old boy got suspended for making finger guns at recess. Or a 5-year-old boy with autism, no less, got punished and put on a sex offender registry. Yes, really, for hugging a classmate and kissing her on the cheek. I mean, it's okay for girls to do that to boys, but the other way around, oh, hell no. That's sexual assault. So, you might want to rethink the whole Scandinavia is a feminist utopia mindset that y'all wallow in. 'Cause when you dig down from the surface, it's anything but.

Here's a thought. Maybe, just maybe, if we stop treating boys like defective girls, they'd start engaging again. But see, that would require you having empathy. That would require you caring and having concern. Having the ability to be open-minded and admit there actually is a problem. A problem created by the very system that is now blaming the boys. And this author, well, she's not going to have any of that.

So, let's wrap this up by calling a spade a spade by stating what should be obvious to any reasonable person at this point. This entire op-ed piece is a masterclass in feminist deflection, denial, misandry, and propaganda. All dressed up in pearls with dyed blonde hair and a smug smile. It gaslights boys, gaslights men, dismisses real data, and hides behind weak studies, all while pretending to be concerned. Let me say it one more time. And yes, I'm trying to be as condescending as I possibly can. Child, please. Because here's the truth. Boys are falling behind. That's not a vibe. That's a fact. The educational system is failing them and has failed them for a very long time now. It's not because girls are inherently better or doing better, but because it punishes how boys learn, how boys behave, and how boys think. And people like this author aren't just part of the problem. They are the problem. Not because they hate boys and men, because they clearly do, but because they'll never admit to themselves that they hate them. Because that hatred and bigotry is so deeply ingrained in them that they are simply too ideologically blind to see the damage that their "everyone is fine, we need to focus on women and girls" routine is doing. This isn't about making girls do worse. They should get focus and attention on their struggles, their issues. But the fact is that's already happening and has been for 50-plus years now. Meanwhile, boys might as well exist in a vacuum. Because until we acknowledge that we have ignored boys, ignored their struggles, ignored their falling behind, and that we've deliberately done so largely due to mindsets like this author has, mindsets that permeate education at every single level, then nothing's going to change. The culture of hate towards boys needs to be brought into the light and dealt with. And doing so isn't about hurting girls. Isn't about some red-pilled plan to hold girls back. No, it's about making sure that boys aren't left behind. Again, it's about, wait for it, equality. You know, the equality that women like this author have long claimed to be fighting for yet are anything but. Because as we all know in their myopic mindset, the one feminism has pushed into them and onto them indeed all of society for the better part of four generations now. That kind of equality, the one that says men and boys also deserve to be treated with dignity and respect, deserve to be treated as human beings, doesn't exist, nor in their mind should it.

So what do you think? Is this author right with her claims or is she just showing her blatant toxicity? Are boys being left behind? And is it deliberate or something that we should just simply ignore? Let me know down in the comments. And if you found this video interesting, if you found it informative, if it opened your eyes to the reality that boys are struggling and deserve some attention, then help me spread the word and raise awareness of it by sharing this video.
