Tell me a little bit more about the experiments trying to erase a person's mind and and how does that leave some of the um the test subjects, the victims afterwards?
Yeah, I mean I think it left some of them like like vegetables. I mean you know uh Velma Orao was not a vegetable, but she had uh trauma for years and years uh related to this and I you know what people say is that she was really never the same. I think she died in the early 1990s. And you know, we just don't know that many much about these people.
There was a guy named Harold Blau uh who was a tennis player uh who uh died during one of these experiments. Um so, you know, the the the the number of people who actually died uh on the table while participating participating in MK Ultra uh experiment, I don't really I don't know what that number is. Uh I don't know that we'll ever have really any information about that.
But certainly when you look at the techniques that were being used on these people, when you look at the extreme um situations they were placed in, there's the case of Whitey Bulier, the famous gangster, and uh he was a prisoner at one of these places at the time when these experiments were going on. And he to his dying day said that he was subjected to these MK Ultra experiments. He said it was months on end um you know, being drugged uh and that [music] it changed it.
