School fights. If you went to high school, then there's a chance you've seen one of these before. You could be walking to class and then there's a circle in the hallway and two students are throwing their arms like windmills because they don't know how to fight. Or you're taking a dump in a stall and a bunch of people swarm in to watch two people fight. Oh gosh. HEY YO, SOMEONE'S POOPING.
I don't know if you guys had these, but in my middle school, we had a fight Instagram page where people would post videos of school fights. Dude, there were some crazy videos on that page. Eventually, this page was taken down by the principal pulling a 200 IQ strategy.
Now, I wasn't a fighter in school. I was the football-playing theater kid. But there was this one incident where a fellow theater kid wanted to fight me. Out of all the cliques in school, you really wouldn't expect the theater kid to be the one that wants to fight. Actually, wait. Before I tell you the story, I want to tell you that this kid who wanted to fight me has been mentioned in a previous video. So, it's time for a little E Wigs trivia. Hint number one, this video is very old for my channel. Number two, he was only in one video for a few scenes. And number three, you could even say that he was creepy. Make your guesses in the comments now. >> [groaning] >> If you said Arnold, you're wrong. If you said Stu, you're also wrong. If you said Delta, you're wrong as well. The correct answer was Zach from the Homecoming video, aka my first video.
All right. Now that that bit's done, let me tell you why Zach wanted to fight me. So, we were doing our school's musical. He started going up to random cast members and just started saying things like this to them. "Wow, I'm like really good at this theater thing, you know? Like this is my first ever time doing theater and I'm like really good at it." Now, to have a little self-pride in theater, that's okay. But going around just like, "Oh, look at me. I'm so cool." is kind of lame, not going to lie. And here's the thing. Zach wasn't good. But nobody wanted to be rude to him, so they were just like, "Yeah, buddy, you're doing great."
So one time me and Delta were having a conversation backstage when from behind me I hear "Foff." I turn around and I see Zach just standing there looking at me, glaring at me, and I just asked him, "Are you talking to me?" And then out of nowhere he just goes "Foff." again. I was a little confused, so I asked him if I said something that offended him, and I was like, "If I did, I'm not sorry. They're just words." He didn't respond or anything. He just stared at me like he was mad at me or something, and then me and Delta had to go on for a scene, so we just left.
Fast forward a couple of weeks and it's dress rehearsals. And if you're a theater kid, you understand that dress rehearsals are kind of stressful. And keep in mind, this was our third to last dress rehearsal before opening night. So everyone was extremely stressed, but not me and Delta. Me and him were just goofing off the whole time. However, during this one big final scene, there's this whole chase and stuff, and let me tell you what was supposed to happen. I just run straight across the stage and nobody's in my way. Zach runs behind me. That's it. However, during the dress rehearsal, I'm doing my thing just running across the stage and I see Zach doing this like backwards shuffle not facing me. He started shuffling right into my path of running, and because I was so downstage, hi, future Ewig here, I didn't mention that downstage means you're closer to the audience for those that don't understand theater lingo. Anyways, back to the story. I had nowhere to make a move, so I just ended up tripping and rolling basically offstage.
A few scenes later and I'm talking with people backstage and I say something like, "Yeah, imagine changing stuff 3 days before we open. That's just crazy." To where I hear once again "Foff." I turn around and I see Zach standing there looking at me pissed off. A bunch of other guys from the cast started holding me back out of nowhere. I didn't even say anything. They just started holding me back like I was actually going to attack this guy. Meanwhile, Zach just starts going, "Fight me. Fight me right now. Fight me right now." The guys kept pushing me farther back from Zach like I was actually going to fight him in front of all these people. Eventually, a girl yells, "Stop it!" and everyone just stopped. And you want to know who was the bad guy in this whole situation? Me. Everyone just was like, "You're mean." and I'm just like, "I I didn't do anything."
Unfortunately, this will not be the last time, once again, that we hear about Zach on my channel because this dude was just such a presence in high school. It's so I'm going to go on the record here and say this. I will never start a fight, but I will definitely end one. So, if someone ever throws a hand at me, trust me that I'm finishing the fight. Especially in my junior year, where I had a lot of pent-up rage, I would have dropped him so fast.
