Stop studying Python the slow way. Here is a two-stage Gemini powered AI system which is a master tutor for learning any complex topic like pandas or numpai in half the time. It takes 5 minutes to set it up but it will save you 500 hours of tutorial hell.

The massive memory of notebook LM and the strategic brain power of Opal reasoning engine are now fused into the Gemini gems. We will be using gems to build our learning ecosystem. We will create two gems and we'll make it generic so that it can be modified at any point to extend to other topics as well.

First gem the structure teacher which gives a comprehensive learning guide on given topic. Second gem the deep dive coach which goes into deepest level detail of the topic. Our topic of interest for the universal tutor is Python pandas. We can go ahead and collect the best pandas YouTube videos or any tutorial website pages or even combine both. The collection should be added to Google notebook Elm.

In this case, I have added a notebook LM source of 10 which includes YouTube videos and tutorial web pages on Python pandas. If you want to know how to create this in notebook LM, refer to the video here where I explain it in detail.

On the Gemini screen, there are two ways of creating gems. New gem from labs is the Opel integration where you can create Opal apps from Gemini screen itself. We will be using the new gem option. The original and initial method of creating gems.

Let's get to creation of our first gem. Add the name and description followed by instructions. In default tool, I like to select canvas. In knowledge section, we select notebook element and attach our pandas notebook. Click save and the gem is ready for chat.

Regarding instructions, you can use Gemini or chat GPT to frame proper instructions. There is also this Gemini help topic you can refer to. If you want the exact prompt I used for this gem, you can refer to the comments section on entering gems chat. Just type start and this is the massive information it compiled. It mentions it has strictly used only notebook LM provided sources and that it has curated a comprehensive 12 module learning guide. Also, it gives suggestions for next steps. The module coverage is really vast. This is a good start for anyone beginning to learn Python pandas.

The Gemini canvas tool selection gives us this beautiful organized output. Also, it allows to export this info into a web page, quiz, audio overview, which is also very helpful.

Since we created a generic tutor, we will be able to make a simple change and extend it to another topic like Python numpy. Remove the pandas notebook and instead add the numpy notebook. That's it. Save this and start a new chat and you will get the numpy comprehensive guide in minutes. Stage one complete. gems just turned loads of documentation into structured learning guide.

Now to master this, we need a deep dive specialist gem for the detailed and hard questions. Let's set up stage two. Every step from first gem remains the same, including name, description, default tool, and same pandas notebook knowledge. The change is in the instructions. Again, you can refer to the comment section for the exact instructions I used.

The goal here is simple. We already have our comprehensive study guide. Now we need the deep dive. When we start the chat, Gemini should present a menu of topics. This also solve a major pain point of what to ask. We pick the topic we struggle in and it provides the detailed explanation. I selected Panda series and look at the depth of details provided. It gives the definition architecture along with comprehensive examples at the beginner, intermediate, and advanced level. Also, it gives a summary of key methods and parameters.

Stage two completed. You've just moved from a passive learner to someone with a customuilt 247 AI mentorship specialist. And the best part, this isn't just for Python. You can swap the knowledge base for React, Java, or any topic of your interest, and the logic holds. You've built the engine. Now it's time to drive it.

The Gemini 3 Aentic workflow is mind-blowing. See it in action reading a messy handwritten answer sheet and grade it against a live YouTube video. And yes, the AI does catch all the mistakes. Click this video right
