Top 10 genetic traits you get from your mom. You might think you're a perfect mix of both parents, but these traits were mostly your mom's doing. I'm sure you won't believe the last one. Let's count them down.

At number 10, your sleeping patterns. Whether you're a night owl or an early bird, your mom's genes heavily influence your circadian rhythm.

At number nine, your ability to handle stress. Your emotional regulation and stress tolerance are strongly linked to maternal genetics.

Number eight, your teeth alignment. If your smile came in a little crooked or perfectly straight, you might want to thank or blame your mom.

At number seven, your hairline. The shape and height of your hairline are often inherited from your mother's side of the family.

Number six, your intelligence. Studies suggest a large portion of intelligence related genes are carried on the X chromosome, which you get from your mom.

At number five, your body fat distribution. Whether you store fat in your hips, thighs, or belly, your mom's genes play a big role in that pattern.

Number four, your eye color. Even though both parents contribute, certain dominant genes passed down from your mom often determine the final shape.

At number three, your immune system strength. Your resistance to infections and some autoimmune tendencies come largely from your maternal DNA.

Number two, your mitochondrial DNA. Every single cell in your body contains mitochondria, your energy factories, and all of them come from your mom.

And at number one, your biological age. How fast or slow you age on a cellular level is strongly influenced by maternal genetics.

And here's what most doctors don't tell you. Your gut microbiome. You inherited that from your mom, too. At birth, through the birth canal, through breast milk. It's the foundation of everything on this list. Your immune system, your biological age, even your energy levels. The problem is by the time we're adults, antibiotics, processed food, and chronic stress have destroyed most of it. That's why I recommend syniotics. You get probiotics, prebiotics, and a B vitamin in one. It rebuilds what time and modern life have taken from you. I've linked my only recommendation that's not crappy in bio.

You get a lot from both parents, but these 10 traits you can thank your mom for. Comment mom if you love her and make sure to follow because in my next video we'll talk about the 10 genetic traits you get from your dad.
