Okay, let's be real. Being polished all the time, being that girl, takes a lot of effort, but it doesn't have to take all of your time away or your money.

So, today we're going to be talking about how to be polished all the time on a budget. So, I'm going to be sharing with you my weekly and monthly, like, high-maintenance routine that makes my everyday life so much easier. These are just the rituals; they're going to help you feel confident and help you feel beautiful every time you wake up without any extra effort. So, if you want to look expensive while staying on budget, this video is for you.

Hi bestie. Welcome back. Today I'm going to be sharing my high-maintenance routines that I love to do with you, and then you can maybe take some inspo for it and even use it yourself. I found that this is the easiest for me. So, it might not be easiest for you, but I like to set aside a day in the week and a day in the month to follow my little beauty rituals, and that really sets me up for the week ahead. It sets me up for the month ahead. I feel nice. I feel organized. I feel polished. I can just go about my day as I wish without having to worry about, you know, multiple things like when I'm going to do my brows, when I'm going to do my hair, etc. Like, you're just looking very, very nice each day. And that just gives you such a confidence boost.

So, first we're going to be doing the weekly rituals, and then we're going to be moving on to the monthly rituals.

So, the first thing I love to do in a week—this is more of like a bi-weekly thing, but you can also do it like every week if you prefer to do so—but it's brows and lashes. They are such a staple piece to your face. Honestly, when you look at your face, like the first thing that you're going to notice are the eyes, and then next to the eyes, you have brows and lashes. So, so what I love to do is I love to do brow lamination. I do that at home. I have my own little brow lift, um, kit, and I just use that. It's so easy. It's so effortless. Like you can just be doing this while watching the TV, watching your favorite show. You just take out your brow lamination kit and just do your brows. It's a very, very simple process. I can do a more elaborate tutorial if you need it, but you just follow the instructions on the box. You're done. And that just gives your face such a beautiful, beautiful symmetry. Like your brows are nice and polished. They're plucked. They are lifted up. They just lift your entire face. So, that to me is such a game changer.

Also, what I love to do for my brows is use castor oil on them. I'm not that consistent with it, I have to admit, but I love to do it for the hair growth. So if you don't have very thick brows but you want them, castor oil is so good for you. So for the lashes, it's a bit more tricky to do lashes by yourself, but you, you can get the hang of it. I also, so in that kit for the brow lamination, you also have a lash curl, like a kit, and it's pretty much the same products, just that the differences are in the technique and tools, and yeah, it's, it's a different video completely. But once you try the lash lift, you are going to be so in love with it because when you wake up, your lashes are already done. And I love to put just a little bit of Vaseline on them. And I don't even use mascara or anything. So like they just wake up your face instantly. You, you're going to love them. If you're more of like a fake lashes girly, I also love the at-home DIY, like lash extension kits. And now they have like cluster lashes. So, so you get like a lash cluster and then you apply it on your lashes. You have like a few clusters you put on, and you are done, and they last you for a week, and then like next week you have to do it all over again. I prefer the lash lift because I like to rub my eyes a lot in a day. So I don't really like when I have something on them. But I did try it. I do have a video on that one if you want to see it. Um, it's very easy. It's just when you have the cluster lashes on, you don't really need makeup. You don't need anything; you just wake up and you already look like you just had a professional makeup done to your face because you know you have your lashes done, you have like brows laminated, you look like the it girl from the moment you open your eyes.

For the next one, I'm just going to show you. The second one is the at-home, um, nails. They don't have to be like gel nails. I love gel polish. So, if you love that, you can do that. But just keeping your nails very tidy, doing like the cuticle cuts, just polishing them up, they're going to make you look so elegant. I always say beauty starts with the hygiene. So like if you have nice, uh, polished, clean nails, that is just going to elevate your look so much. But if you are more of a gel girly, then I got you. Like I do them at home myself. Like I did this literally 2 days ago. They're not perfect, but they're cute. I mean, I, I used to have really long nails before I went to, uh, Thailand, and I did them in like this beautiful, beautiful, beautiful blue and like sea beach wipes. They were so fantastic. Like when I got there at the airport, like the security, the woman that was working there had to ask me. Like she was like, "I love your nails." I was like, "Thank you. I did them myself." So that is a really fun hobby. It does take a bit more learning, but you can do it yourself. Trust me, you don't need to waste your money at all; like they're not going to do anything for you that you cannot do it for yourself. Especially if it's just gel polish. Like that is so easy. It's like nail polish. All you need is a UV lamp, and they're very cheap to find. So don't waste your money. Come on. The amount of money I saved last year for doing this myself, I cannot describe. So when you do them by yourself at home, you just have this freedom to be creative, to kind of express yourself. You can do whatever you want. And I got a lot of little charms. So, I just really love doing that by myself. It's my little hobby. It's my little, you know, self-care moment.

So, gel nail polish at home. Love it.

My weekly face detox ritual. This is so important to give your skin a fresh start. Anytime you decide to do this for your skin, your skin is going to feel so much better. What I mean by the weekly face detox is that I love natural products. Like, I love at-home products that you can make yourself. The first thing I like to do is I like to make myself some sage water. I love sage water. Sage is such a good cleanser. It's good for your soul. Like, come on. Not only is it good for your soul, it's really good for your skin, for your hair, for everything. Like, it cleans your skin so well. I love sage. So, what I do is I just get my sage. I have sage from my grandma. She, uh, grows it herself, so I know it's clean. I know it's like the best that it can be. And I boil sage. And I let it boil for 15 to 20 minutes. And then I leave it, like I don't drain it or anything; like I leave the leaves inside the pot. And then when you remove the leaves, you have the water, the sage water, and then you use that water to spray on your face. I love to spray this on my face, on my scalp. It purifies; it detoxifies your skin. So good for you. So it really sets my skin for the next step.

For step two of my weekly skin detox, I love to do a rice mask. Now you have some, uh, rice masks that you can buy. I know Beauty of, um, Yosion. Josian has one, and people say it's really good, but if you want to make your own at home, it's super easy. It's super easy. So, you just soak some rice and then you blend it in. You can add some, uh, honey if you wish to, and then just blend that all together. Apply it to your face. Your skin's going to feel so nice, so soft. As if you just applied the most expensive like skin cream.

For the last step, I love to sculpt my face a little bit. So, this is more of a once-a-week ritual that I love to do. So you can use a jade roller, you can use gua sha, you can use the, the cups on your face, whatever you prefer. I like to cup, like my neck, and I do like a little lymphatic drainage on my face with the cups. And then I go in with the gua sha a little bit more. And that's all. Your skin is going to love you. It's going to look flawless. It's going to look very nice, luminous, and you're just going to love the results, I'm sure.

Moving on to the body rituals. So for the body rituals, of course, you're going to shower every day, but you're going to have an everything shower once a week, probably, maybe twice. I'm not sure, depending on the person, and everything showers are my favorites because at that point you get to do everything you want to do. So for the body care, what I love to do is I love to do dry brushing. Dry brushing is so amazing. So you're going to do dry brushing before the shower. It's going to stimulate the blood flow, reduces the cellulite appearance. So I really love dry brushing. And then in the shower, what I love to do is a weekly scrub. Like I scrub down my entire body. And I don't really use a specific scrub for this; I use like those loofahs. I have to find it and put it somewhere here because I don't know the name for it. But it's so good. And then after that beautiful, beautiful scrub, my body is just ready to absorb moisture. And while I'm in the shower, I take a little bit of coconut oil and I apply it all over my body. This thing is a game changer. I learned this from Sophia Regara. She recommended to use it as like, um, a body lotion substitute. I love using coconut oil on my body. And why I do it in the shower, I shower with very hot water. So my shower is always steamy. So that really makes my skin open up. The pores open up, and the oil penetrates into my skin. So my skin stays softer much longer. So I apply the coconut oil. Not too much, just a little bit to make my skin more moisturized, more glowy. And then I step out. So once I'm dry, once I'm completely ready, that's when I love to self-tan. So I love self-tanning. I'm a bit more tanned now. But even like now I have self-tanner on, as you can see, which I did not wash off. So I need to wash that off. But I love self-tanning. It just gives you that beautiful radiance and glow. I don't self-tan my face. What I love to apply are some, uh, bronzing drops. So I just use bronzing drops on my face, and I look like I have a foundation on. Trust me.

Next up we have oral care. I already spoke a bit about this in my glow-up video, but I feel like it's so important to mention it again because then I mentioned just how important it is to really keep the hygiene of your mouth at the highest level possible. I'm not going to go in-depth with that again. This time I'm just going to say what I love to do on a weekly basis when it comes to oral care, but for more of like a once-in-a-week glow-up, um, ritual, I love to do whitening strips. So, I do the most simple whitening strips that you can find. I do that once a week, and, and it just gives you the beautiful, you know, white smile. So, I really like to do that. You don't have to do that if you have naturally white teeth, but if you don't, if you just need a bit of that, um, extra whiteness, then you can just incorporate the whitening strips into your weekly routine.

Now, we're moving on to I think the most important part because for some people it's like if my makeup is not good, I don't feel good. If my outfit is not like, you know, top-tier, I don't feel good. But when my hair is not good, I know I will not feel good. I can be wearing like a million-dollar dress, and if my hair is ugly, I will feel ugly. This is my hair right now. My hair, I put a lot of, a lot of love and attention to my hair. So, first it's more of like a deep hair love, let's say that way. And this requires me to do a weekly deep hair mask. I love hair masks. I love hair masks so much. I love making them at home. When I'm lazy, I just use hair butters. You know how much I love hair butters. I'm not even going to talk about it. But if you don't have a hair butter, or if you don't have equipment to make it, I love using at-home DIY hair masks. Last night, the one I made was I used egg, uh, grape seed oil, coconut oil, some conditioner. I combined everything together and I applied it to my hair. I had people ask me like, "Egg, are you joking?" No, I'm not joking. Egg is so good for your hair. It's giving it the beautiful, beautiful shine. Just don't wash it off with warm or hot water. So, one time I made the mistake of washing off my egg hair mask with very hot water. I like I literally boiled the eggs on my hair. It took me so long to wash it off. It's going to give your hair the beautiful shine that it needs. I have a lot of hair masks that I love to use. If you want me to, I can maybe make a list. Trust me, at-home hair masks—don't waste your money on the expensive ones. They, you're going to get the same result.

Another thing that I love to do once a week is hair glossing. I cannot shut up about hair glossing. I know, I know, I know, but just hear me out. I did try like two separate versions. So, I tried the, um, I can never pronounce this brand, Away. I think it's Away. And then I tried the, I think L'Oreal, uh, hair gloss. The difference in price is I think the, uh, Away one was €40, and then the L'Oreal one was I think 9. So it's a big price difference. And let me tell you, they were the same. To be honest, I prefer the L'Oreal one. It just gives me so much more shine. So it just goes to show that not everything that is more expensive is better for you. So, if you want to do hair glossing, you don't have to go ahead and purchase the most expensive product. You can just use the drugstore version. I love the L'Oreal. I love the L'Oreal one. I have a video about it below. I will leave it somewhere. It's very easy to do. You can just do it like once a week, and your hair is going to be very glossy and very shiny.

High-maintenance ritual that I do. I feel like, I feel like this is just too much. But when you look at it, it's really not; it doesn't really have to take that much time from your day or that much effort. It's more like about the organization of your time. So really try to play around if you want to implement any of these rituals and see how you can maybe, uh, complement them. So do them at the same time. For example, if you put the, um, the strip on your teeth and the hair mask, you can be doing your nails at that time. So really play around and see, um, what works best for your schedule.

And the last thing about the hair is the hairstyle. So what I personally love to do, like I said, I do once-a-week blowouts. So I blow out my hair, I make the curls, and then for the rest of the week, try to maintain it. For example, I do once-a-week blowouts. I blow out my hair and then I put it into heatless curls. Not technically heatless because I make them with my air wrap. But if I did not put them into the heatless method, they would not last. So I do it just once a week, and then every night before bed, I put my hair back into the heatless curls. This just makes such a huge difference because every day you wake up and your hair is ready to go. Do you know how much time that saves you in a day? It's ridiculous. For example, with sage and like hair detox, um, your hairstyle can really last you longer because your hair is not going to get as oily as it normally does. So, my blowout lasts me, for example, 5 days. I love the rope curls. They are so gorgeous. I love doing those. Right now, I'm doing those curls that you kind of wrap here, like unicorn curls. I think those are really good as well. Sock curls. Like, you just wrap your hair in socks. That is so good. Like I love doing that. I think I've done that for the past 7 years of my life. So there's just so many different, there are just so many different heatless curl methods that you can try and see which one works best for you. So yeah, once-a-week blowout and then heatless curls every night—that's going to save you so much time, and you're going to wake up looking like a gorgeous, gorgeous goddess.

On to the monthly self-care rituals that I love to do that are a bit more high-maintenance that just make my day-to-day life much, much easier.

The first thing I love to do is at-home dermaplaning, and this thing is so good for me. I don't know, maybe it's not for everyone. I know some people are concerned that if you do this, like your hair grows out thicker and kind of harder, but for me it hasn't been that way. So I really love to do this. So what dermaplaning is, you basically take a razor. So you have those like face-shaving razors, and then apply some oil. The razor glides easier on my face. And then you just start, and you start removing all of this hair that are very thin and they're very, like you don't really notice them. But what this does, it kind of helps your—what this does, it kind of helps make your face appear more glowy and more soft. Also, if you are applying makeup, then it makes the application so much easier because makeup really sits on your face. Well, it does get a bit tricky when the hairs start growing out. That is the face I don't really like, but it goes away pretty quickly. Like, it just lasts like a day or two, and then you're back at the start. So, doing that, it makes my makeup sit well on my face. It makes my skincare absorb much easier into my skin. So, it's, it's a great ritual that I definitely recommend.

Another thing I love to do is at-home laser hair removal. So, I know this sounds a bit more expensive, but it doesn't have to be. The tool that I use, I'm going to get it real. So, the tool that I use is by this brand. It's called Insa, and it cost me like €60. I got it last year in August. And now, this is in my monthly rituals because I do like the maintainers. Like, my hair was so thin, and I literally had no hair, especially in my armpits; like I had zero hair. I loved it so much. I made a mistake of not being consistent with the keeping of the non-hair spots if that makes sense. But basically, you have to do, like after you do the treatment, you have to do the maintenance like every month. And then I did not do that, and that made my hair grow back. So, is it the best? Is it better than the salon ones? Probably not. But for the €60, sign me in. This thing makes your life so much easier. Like I remember, like I did not have to shave at all, not have any razor bumps, you know, like that strawberry skin that you usually get on your legs, nothing. I loved, loved doing that. And it helps to just be ready and on the go at any point.

Another thing I love to do on a monthly basis is the foot care. So, not only are we taking care of our nails that need to look polished, our feet also need to look polished. So, I love doing pedicures like once a month, and they're like very in-depth pedicures where you remove all of the cuticles, you clean them up. I also do gel nails on my, um, toes as well. So, what you can do is you can just get a bucket of water, put some Epsom salt inside, make the water a bit warm, and then, like, leave your feet inside. That will really, like, relax the skin around your toes. And then you can also, like, exfoliate, remove any dead skin. For example, summer is coming up. This is going to be very handy if you do this like once a month or if you're wearing sandals or flip-flops. Your feet are going to look very nice. So, you remove all the dead skin, you exfoliate, you remove the cuticles, you slather on some foot cream, and now that your feet are nice, clean, and dead skin-free, then you can also go ahead and, and then also do some gel polish if you like to do so. If not, you can just, like, use regular polish, and you are good to go. You have beautiful feet, and you can wear whatever you want.

So, like I said before, scalp detox. That is another thing I love to do. Scalp detoxes are so important. Now, for this, you have several options. So, so like I said, I love using sage for the detox. You can also use glycolic acid. This is really good as well. And another thing you can do is use apple cider vinegar. I'm sure that is like a thing we all have at our home because this removes all the build-ups from your hair, and then your hair does not get oily as often as it normally would. Also, it promotes hair growth.

The last thing I love to do, which you should also be doing, is a monthly, like, tools reset. So, it's not just about the things that we use on our body, but also the tools. Like, you need to clean those tools. So, washing your makeup brushes, washing your tools, washing your hair brushes, your hairbrush—if it's not clean enough, all of the oils that you kind of took out of when your hair was dirty, you're putting them back onto your hair. You don't want that. Also, throw away any like old razors if, if you have some. Even like the ones for the skin, you just need a new fresh start for the month ahead. So, this is more of like prepping for the month ahead, um, when it comes to your next beauty ritual month, day.

So, those are all of my beauty-on-a-budget, high-maintenance rituals that I love to do that help me stay low-maintenance on a daily basis. Honestly, it's not about perfection. So, it's not just about implementing everything. It's more of a self-care. It's more of feeling good in your own skin, of having that confidence in your daily life. Also, it's about creating moments where you are there for yourself, like you're taking the time of the week, of the month, of the day to be there for yourself and to really invest your time and your effort into looking and feeling amazing. If you have any rituals that I might not have, I would really love to try them. So, please leave them below. I would love to know. If it's easier for you to follow this through a checklist, let me know. And I will leave that down below so it's easier for you to access and try to implement as well. And yeah, if you liked it, make sure to give it a thumbs up and also follow me as well. And oh my god, there are like 5,000 new people here. I am in shock. Like, welcome. Hello. Hi. Yeah, that is all my loves for this video. I really hope to see you in the next one.

Video as well. And have a beautiful, beautiful day, wherever you are.
