This morning, we are sharing on the importance of partnering with God's choice. It's a deep mystery when it has to do with God leaving you two specific people, or giving you instructions concerning different people and who to partner with them, to work with them, to submit to them, or to stay away from them, or not go into something with them in a particular light.
Relationships are so important in our journey here on earth, so we will need to partner with the right persons in different realms of our lives in order for the fullness of our destiny to be fulfilled. From time to time, we need to assess and benefit from the resources and privileges of certain people. Everybody needs it. Even Jesus needed it. Despite His anointing, He needed men, He needed women to walk with Him and to support Him in the walk in His assignment here on earth.
So we need to tap into different themes in the lives of people: some wisdom, some expertise, some their experience, some their talent, some their special ability, some the privileged position that God has given them, some the realm of authority, influence. We need to tap into the time of different people from time to time to get something that will solve issues, help us achieve our goals, and move us forward. We need to tap into the service, their valuable information available from people, material resources, also financial resources, expertise, the mentorship of certain people who need it, the spiritual cover of a man who would need it. Avenue through which different people can help us at different points in time, we will need it. And of course, the grace of God upon certain individuals who will need it at every point in time.
It's so important that one of those fundamental patterns in God's working is that there is always provision for divine helpers and partners in destiny. There is always a divine provision for everyone that God wants to move forward in life to also be able to benefit from the help and influence of divine helpers and partners in destiny. And God uses these helpers and partners in destiny in different areas of your life. Some will walk in manifest, some will influence your spiritual life, some in the realm of ministry, your marital life, career, business, financial empowerment. Some will be used by God for your promotion, for your placement. Some God will use to help you realize your full potential. And the assumption that God will use all around in all of these ways. And God will use them not just for a season, but for life.
And one of such critical relationships is a man or woman who is going to come into your life as a husband or as a wife. In fact, at the point in time you will leave your father, God expects you to leave your father. And at the point in time, God will expect you to leave your mother. For this cause shall a man leave his father and his mother, not just for a vacuum, but to be joined together to someone who for the rest of your life, as long as he lives, as long as she lives, will be playing a major role in your life, both as a divine helper and also as a partner in destiny. And your divine helpers and partners in destiny, they have seasons of operation. Some of them will show up clearly at a certain age of your life, some at a certain phase of your life. So we'll come in for a particular just to address a particular need or to help achieve a particular goal at a time and season.
For us to understand the mystery of divine relationships and partnership, I'm going to share with you some scriptures. And in these scriptures are loaded insights that will open your eyes to see the how far God's choice can make a lot of difference and the implications thereof. My first scripture references First Kings chapter 19. First Kings chapter 19, verse 15 to 16. First Kings chapter 19, verse 16, 15 to 16. And from this scripture, I have I took out three, three relevant, very relevant versions.
First, the Good News Translation. And he said, "The Lord, the Lord said," He was speaking here to Elisha, who returned to what? To the wilderness near Damascus. Then enter. I'm reading from the Good News Translation. Then enter the city and anoint. God mentioned, listen to these three names. We mentioned from Rome where Elijah did not go to God with some names. And then God told him who to choose and what for. Elijah was alone in the presence of the Lord. And from nowhere, from nowhere, God mentioned the names of three men. And who were these three men? Hazael and Elijah. And what was God's... Good News Translation. He said, "Anoint Hazael as king of Syria." He was not yet king. In fact, at a point in time, there was no indication that he was going to be the future king, but heaven had concluded and heaven had decided that he will be king. And He told him, "Do what? Anoint him as king of Syria." Then He said, "Anoint Jehu, son of Nimshi, God, He will mention the name of his father, as what? As king of Israel." So as people have specific mandates, their mandates also have specific territories. Their mandates have specific territories. As he was going to be president, Jehu was going to be president, but of two different countries. And not just any two, any country of your choice. There is a particular country that God has given to you to become king. And that is where it will happen. Attempting to realize that kingship mandate in another territory would not happen because heaven has no hand in it.
This one. And note. These three men did not pray for what God decided to give to them. They may have been praying generally, asking God for placement in life, you know, all kinds of prayers, as if like we are to, likely to pray. But it's very clear from the prayer that none of these three men were expecting God, expecting to become what God now suddenly called them to become. So sometimes you may not have discovered your calling in life. You may not have discovered certain aspects of your divine destiny. But there is a time where heaven will reveal what He has in mind. And then He said, "Anoint Elisha, son of Shaphat, from Abel-Meholah to succeed you as." Now, something interesting. Two of these people were from God's, God's nation. Another one was not from God's nation. And it's interesting that when God was giving the name of the one outside His nation, He didn't bother to mention his family name. He just said, "Anoint Hazael, king of Syria." But when He was talking about His, His, you know, the other two from among His people, God went further to identify and recognize the family from which He had chosen them. I pray that God will honor your family. Let heaven hear your amen.
International Children's Bible, same First Kings chapter 19, 15 or 16. "The Lord said to him, 'Go back to the road that leads to the desert around Damascus. Enter the city. There pour oil on Hazael to make him king. Pour oil on Jehu, son of Nimshi, to make him king over Israel. Next, pour oil on Elisha, son of Shaphat, from Abel-Meholah, to be a prophet in your place.'" And then New Life Version. He says, "The Lord said to him, 'Go, return on your way to the desert of Damascus. When you get there, set apart Hazael to be the king of Syria.'" Hello. You know what? "Set apart." Say it loud. "Set apart." Hazael to be what? To be the king of Syria. Hello. You know what? From the moment Elisha anointed Hazael, his life had changed. From that moment, something that happened. By reason of anointing, from that day, he was set apart. From that day, Hazael became God's anointed, God's chosen one, God's selected instrument for a particular purpose. And for what? To be king in what location? Over Syria. Then God said the same to me. He said, "Set apart Jehu, son of Nimshi, to be king of Israel. And set apart Elisha, the son of Shaphat, to speak for God in your place." I pray that after God has chosen you, may you agree to be set apart. May you not fight with the process of being set apart. There are certain things that God has ordained you to become in life. You cannot get there unless you are set apart. Unless you are set apart. Unless you are set apart. Some of the friends you had before, you can keep them no more because your future has changed. Your life is no longer be a life of going to work or doing business and by 6 p.m. every evening, you are hitting a beer parlor somewhere to drink with the boys. And after that, you take it to the next level and then you begin to return home by 1 a.m., 2 a.m., 5 a.m. No. By the masses of God, even without you asking for it, something that people would die to get, the presidency of a nation, God has decided on His own, looked around and chose one man for a particular season. And that man was Hazael for Syria, Jehu for Israel. And the Lord said, "Anoint them. Set them apart." By reason of this anointing, today you have been set apart. Praise ye the Lord. Praising the Lord.
A second scripture. Okay, you took note of what He said about Elijah here. He said, "Son of Shaphat of Abel-Meholah to speak for God in your place." "To speak for God in your place." I have chosen him. He will speak for me in the time of his ministry as a national prophet because Elijah himself was a national prophet. And after him, God reached Elijah to also speak for Him on His behalf as God's vessel, God's oracle to the nation at that point in time.
First Samuel chapter 16. You are going to also pick out some useful insights from here. First Samuel chapter 16, verse 7. First Samuel chapter 16, verse 7. First Samuel chapter 16, verse 7. Now, I would like you to please listen carefully. And I want to show you from some different versions what exactly God was saying. First King James Version. He said, "But the Lord said to Samuel, 'Look not on his countenance, on the height of his stature, because I have refused him. For the Lord yet not as man, yet for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the Lord looketh on the heart.'" God looks at the heart. Then Amplified Bible says, "But the Lord said to Samuel, 'Well, do not look at his appearance or the height of his stature, because I have rejected him. I have rejected him.'" Then in the next version, Contemporary English Version, "He isn't the one I have chosen. He isn't the one I have chosen." Easy-to-Read Version says, "Eliab is not the right man."
Now, note. God is not talking about being right or being okay generally. God was talking only in the context of the kingship of Israel. Their brothers, David's brothers, were good men. They were good men. What God was talking about here was relative to the office of the king of Israel and how God wanted whoever would put the heir to conduct himself. As long as he was like on that office. And you see, we are why we need to listen to God when it comes to choosing people and partnering. When we are choosing, we look only at the past, we look only at the present, and then we project also based on permutation and calculation. But there will always be disruptions. There will always be disruptions. But not yourself of tomorrow, for you know not what a single day. One day, something happens and everything changes. Equation changes. The man who was there before is no longer there. When God said, "I have refused them," He wasn't talking about what they did in the past. He didn't refuse them, reject them, because of what they had done publicly or secretly. God looked at each of them based on the future. And He has the capacity. If I put this man here, God can see what will happen from day one. See that man would die as king of Israel. And that is where, like I said last week, you know, you would be shocked at what you will see when people have what they never had. And I made a reference to Hagar, the maid of Sarah. This girl was so nice, so respectful, so diligent, such a good girl. Today, so that Sarah and Lot had so much, was so impressed with her that Sarah, you know, desired that she would have a child for Abraham on her behalf. But what happened? The moment this same Hagar slept with Abraham and conceived, she had not even delivered. She had not even delivered. From the moment she conceived, this same Hagar, that was so respectful, changed. "What have you seen that I have not seen?" And in the same house, the same Hagar that used to greet Sarah so well, even better than the other maids, is, you know, she started, she started scanning Sarah in the house even before she delivered. That is life for you. Some people you think are humble today, they are humbled by their current circumstances. Let serious money enter that man's account, and you will see. You will see pride. You will see arrogance. You will see arrogance. You see pride. Never call a man humble who has not seen money. Never call a man humble who has not seen real power, real influence. Never call a man humble who has not seen fame and popularity. Fame and popularity. But God can see. If I suddenly make this young man, a billionaire, what will he be coming to church? If I make him president of my people, this my great nation, will he still submit? And by the time I begin to give him great victories and people are celebrating him, will he continue to acknowledge me as the power behind his success? God saw ahead. And seen ahead, didn't mean that God did not know that David will make one or two mistakes. But note, God, and check it out. David never bluntly, bluntly disobeyed God. He made his own mistakes, just like others who were even used by God. But he never, he never did what God told him not to do or refused to do what God told him clearly to do. So when God says no to a particular person, it has nothing, it may not even have anything to do with the past. It may not have anything to do with the present. God is talking about between now and the future. When that person comes into the capacity, into that capacity. A lady that respects you so much today and has respected you for years, that lady, don't say that the lady is very respectful. If you marry as a wife, wife is different. Wife is different. Wife is different. But he tells you, "Masha'Allah, he had this one. You know, I'm your wife now. I'm your wife." Oh, please. It's only God that knows whether if this woman, this lady, has been so respectful, if God decides to honor her by making her your wife, He's only God knows whether she will continue to remain humble and respectful as she has always been. But the reality is that there are always shocking changes. Shocking changes. Shocking changes. There, there's too much implication. We say when there is a caution sign, there is a caution sign. And then sometimes it's not just caution, it's like it's a clear danger sign. And you are driving on that road, and you can see the sign, "Danger, do not proceed." Somebody put that in there for the benefit of certain people who don't know what is ahead. Then you will now stop. Only you will stop. Only you would see. Drive through. Unknown to you that there is a big gully. The bridge has been cut into. Something has happened. And if you go, there is a point. There's a point where they won't place that caution sign. The caution sign, the danger sign, must be placed at a point where it will not be too late. Are you listening? It will not be too late for you to see it and quickly change direction. Now, if you go beyond that point, by the time you even discover what they were trying to warn you ahead of, it will be too late for you to return. So you can imagine the implication when God Himself gives forth a caution sign. God Himself says, "There is danger." God Himself says, "No, don't bother." If you go ahead, and exactly what God saw will happen, you will begin to experience. I see what is so bad when God has spoken to you, when God has warned you ahead of time. Are you proceeding? You are on your own. God will deliberately warn you. Now, it's okay. You won't learn by words. You will learn by experience. You will learn by experience. When God has said no to a particular person, and you go ahead, when you complain about that person for a long time, God will never answer. In fact, oh, we laugh. May God not laugh at you. When God has said no, don't go, don't partner with that, don't go in that direction, you go. You will pray. Any talent that comes from that area, when you pray, there is no guarantee that God will answer. He will hear your prayer and answer your other prayer points. But concerning that area, I told you no, and you disobeyed Him, He will leave that your prayer in that area unanswered. He will leave it unanswered. So we must be very, very sensitive to the dynamics of this. And also, let's not also take it to an extreme. If you are single and you're praying to God, "Lord, is this sister I ordained?" And God says no. It doesn't now imply that there is something wrong with our system in the past, in the present, or in the future. What God is just saying is that that is not My choice for you. The same sister that can give you trouble is this the same sister that would be at peace with someone else? Except the Lord build a house, Psalm 127, verse 1. They labor in vain that build anything that would give you trouble from life. May God show you ahead of time and deliver you in the name of Jesus Christ. In the name of Jesus.
So what is God saying here in the house of David? He said, "Eliab is not the right man." International Children's Bible. He said, "I have not chosen him." So this gives you a better picture. If you look at it just from "I have rejected him," "I have refused him," you could begin to have some, possibly, a wrong perception about the man himself, beyond just being chosen for the kingship of Israel. But when you look at some of these other versions, the picture becomes clearer. So God is saying, "I have not chosen him." And then The Message Bible says, "I have already eliminated him. I have already eliminated him." And that confirms what I shared with us in the past, that God did not just choose David from the house of Jesse. God actually started by looking at the sons of Jesse from the oldest one. And for some reason, God did not pick any one of them until He got to David. And that is why I said, "I have already eliminated him." Eliminated him means he was considered, but he did not pass my screening test. God is the only one that can screen people based on what has not yet played out in the future, because He can see it ahead of time. I pray that God will help us to obey Him in the name of Jesus.
As we go forward, we'll be looking at now at Proverbs 18, verse 24. Proverbs 18, verse 24. Now, I picked out some interesting versions. Please listen to this very well, because we must have friends. But God is open our eyes to the Holy Scriptures to see how critical this issue of friends are in the fortunes of a man or woman. Amplified Bible, Proverbs 18, verse 24. It says, "The man of too many friends, too many friends." And then he said, "Chosen indiscriminately." And one of those ways you choose indiscriminately is picking someone for something important, something very sensitive, and not even bothering to commit it to God in prayer. That is one of those ways you choose indiscriminately. You can't, you can't tell the man, "You are my best friend," that you have just met. Hey, man, does that make... No matter how well he treats you, there are other ways you can maybe express yourself and how you want to bond with him. But you can't call him, "Man, your best friend," when you are just a year or some few months, you know, relating closely together. Before someone will enter into the position of a best friend, there must be a process. The 12 disciples were chosen instantly, but it took time. It took time for the three in the inner circle to emerge. It took time. Circumstances and situations and some formalities and things beyond your control can impose certain people around you. But the issue of your best friend, nobody can impose a best friend on you. Judas was imposed on Jesus. Out of the twelve, there must be one who will fulfill a negative prophecy to betray Him unto death. For that reason, Judas was chosen. And Judas already had, he had the qualities, negative qualities to carry out the role. And God saw that he will carry it out. If not, no matter how closely we work with Jesus, God saw Judas working closely with Jesus, feeling the love, the compassion of Jesus, saying all that God would do through Jesus, and yet when the moment comes, the sin will be willing to sell Him for thirty pieces of silver. He saw it ahead of time. That there is nothing good and divine that Judas will see for himself about Jesus that will make him change his mind. From between nothing. I am personally aware of people who were commissioned as intelligence spies and given a target. And the target showed that lady, showed that man so much love and care that what the spy, the spy was supposed to ultimately do, the spy refused to do it. And some of them left that intelligence service of the account. And some never returned to their country anymore. When they were sent, they had no knowledge, there was no relationship with the target. But in the process of trying to achieve and undercover, Simon, the person showed them so much love. They thought they saw too many good things about a target that he changed their mind. They changed their mind. It takes, it takes a fool and a real instrument of darkness to see the best of love being manifested and yet remaining full, remain an enemy. That was the kind of man Judas was. May God deliver you from every vessel carrying the author of Judas in the name of Jesus Christ.
So, "a man of too many friends, chosen indiscriminately, will be broken in pieces and come to ruin." This is not a wife. Now, this is not a husband. Friends can ruin you. Friends can ruin you. We have seen a secretary, you know, sometimes these are going on, you are hearing that people outside, so what your enemy outside this year. In everything you discuss every day, every week, and you continue to look as where and you, "I won't discuss it with certain people." This is the report I'm getting. Unknown to you that the one of the persons you are, you trust so much that you open revealing lead to, is actually the person between you. Is the one between you. There are some positions you must never accept in life. You can't be the private secretary of a man you will feel free to betray. You can't be the ADC of a man that you will feel free to betray. A man you are supposed to protect. A man of too many friends, too many friends, too many friends, will do one. Will be broken in pieces and come to ruin. You will not come to ruin in the name of Jesus.
Contemporary English Version. What does it say there? It says, "Some friends don't help." Is that true? Can I get a "Samanta"? Have you observed that in life? Some friends don't help. This is from the scriptures. Old Testament, even Old Testament. But a true friend is closer than your own family. Is that also true? So it's not distance that it, he would tell you. Is it your, is it your man? When it comes to help, even when he has it. Now, the Bible is not talking about friends who could not help because they didn't have what was required to help. The Bible, it is referring to those who were in a position to help, but they failed to help. Someone that the code Ephraim. So is there better not that some friends don't help? But a true friend is closer. International Children's Bible says, "Some friends may renew you. Some friends may ruin you." So one of the ways you can expose yourself in life is by carelessly choosing friends because friends are going to know. The closer they get to you, they will know too much and they will have access. They will have access. I have given this example sometimes. Some banks have had crises. Some banks have had crises. Something, there was a level of fraud that was shaking. But you know what? The top management of that bank kept that information to themselves. They eventually worked out a way to manage what had happened. And they so managed it well that people working with the bank did not know what had happened. And eventually, this is not one, not two, some of these banks who had this experience, came back. Overcame it. Took time. They overcame that problem and they are doing well. Some have even spread much further now. Do you know that if the information, what happened, happened? But the reason that bank stood was that people in here about what happened. Because if people heard this, there's a crisis going on, there would have been a run on the bank, massive withdrawals at the same time. So what happened instead? At the time that the bank was having a problem, some depositors were even bringing in more money. At the time that depositors would have been running away, if they knew what was happening, depositors were bringing in money. Why? Those entrusted, entrusted with the real leadership of the bank, did not betray the bank. The higher you go, the more you are entrusted with with confidential information. There are times where a pastor is being discussed, you know, in the public vehicle, and people are saying, "Ah, the pastor of that one, he's like this." And you'd be shocked as a member of his church that would now tell them, "No, you don't know the full story." A member of his church, you don't even know the full story. Let me move over. I talk about people as they have reached their high pressure. Aunties today. So what are the Vasa? Living Bible says, "They are friends who pretend to be friends." Are there people like that? I want to get your response. And their friends who pretend to be friends. Are you seeing it? They are from the Living Bible. They are from the from time. From time. As long as you are dealing with man, have this in mind. There are friends who pretend to be friends. Who pretend to be friends. Friends come and go. Friends come and go. Be careful. That's a reality of life. Some friends you think will be there forever, they would. That is not correct. Friends come and go. Only few will be there forever. Only few get there forever. Have you, have you ever borrowed money? Have you ever borrowed money and you are not able to pay back to a friend? And that friend, after a while, you know, after a while, still loves you and still clings to you, even without you paying that money? You have found a friend. There are some things that will reveal when there is no offense. Don't call somebody your best friend, someone you have never offended. Every time, for instance, we are doing appointments in church now. We are doing appointments in church, and appointments always favor you. It always favors you. Well, let's not say this person is honored. Represent to accept God is once in it. Because you may not know that it's because you know the situation so far has always favored the person. But they are those who have never been appointed, even though they were qualified to be appointed. And many have left because they were expected to be appointed and they didn't get it. So the moment someone who was expecting something, would have loved something to be given to him, and still loving and supporting you the way he or she has always done, you have found a friend. You have found a friend. You have found a friend. And I pray that God will create a situation very soon, if it has not already happened, that will help you know your real friends in the name of Jesus. In the name of Jesus.
Is the Bible speaking? To us? I'm just echoing what the Bible has said. New Living Translation says, "There are friends who destroy each other." They destroy each other. A rumor goes round town, and you will think it's your enemies that are at work. Later, you will be shocked to find out where that rumor came out from. It came out from your close confidant. There are friends who destroy each other. When you give her good news, you give him good news, he's happy. He appears to be happy. But inside him, inside her, strangely, the person is unhappy. And when something negative is happening to you, the person pretends to be pained, but inside her, inside him, is... May God deliver you from such destructive friends in the name of Jesus.
Then Proverbs chapter 26, verse 10. Proverbs 26, verse 10. The Bible says, from The Living Bible, "The master may get better work from an untrained apprentice than from his skilled rebel." From his skilled rebel. Judas was his skilled treasurer. He was an experienced treasurer. He was an experienced accountant. If not that his role was irrevocable, Judas would never have been appointed, or he would have long been dismissed. But there was an irrevocable prophecy that he was going to fulfill. So an untrained apprentice is even better and safer than a skilled rebel. So take note of sometimes we, you know, we have people saying, "This person has been there, that one has been there." And how come, you know, this has not been done for him? Remember the scripture. Remember sometimes, "I eliminated." I'm using God's word in the fashion where in the verse we read earlier. They have been eliminated because God has seen ahead that this is a skilled man. This is a skilled woman. She is good. He is good. But he is a rebel waiting to manifest. She is a rebel waiting to manifest. Waiting to manifest.
Then Easy-to-Read Version says, "Hiring a fool or a stranger who is just passing by is dangerous." A stranger who is just passing by is dangerous. Somebody just comes and there walks into a church, like a church that is on ground, and tells you, "Pastor, God has called me to ministry and He is leading me to join the ministry." And you see what happens in some churches. They just have an interview, and that man is immediately engaged. And from day one, he begins to operate at the highest level of leadership in that ministry. A man you don't even know anything about. And then, if there is, you know, that kind of situation, if God really wants him, God will speak by revelation. The same way Jesus had to reassure Ananias. Yes, the information you have about this man is even negative, but I want to reassure you, I am the one that has chosen him. This is what he is going to do for the kingdom. And exactly what Jesus told Ananias is what Paul started manifesting positively. But it's unwise for you to commit something important and sensitive to someone you don't even know. You don't even know. We have seen some husbands show up, but it turned out to be, you know, some fine, good-looking sneakers and a t-shirt. He just moves around around the singles and single ladies in the church. You think this man is, he's a cool guy. He will be, you call him, "Man, you wanna call him man." And before you know that, he has already picked a particular lady, and it's already a proposal. And without even checking out her, she's already blown the by miraculous happen. Then later on, something, some cases, it's what's too late. You now describe the man as having eight children from three women. Eight children from three women. And he's still counting. He hasn't repented from that. From the attitude. You know, that attitude, he still is in action. You are not going to be the fourth casualty. May you not be a casualty. So what's the Bible warning you about? No. Don't. Don't expose yourself to strangers. Don't expose yourself to strangers. We found out from about salvation, and ninety percent of the people who would come to church and say, "I want to see the pastor." Only him. Because there are ministers and pastors waiting to attend to anyone after service. But the person begins to insist and insist. We found out that ninety percent of them end up going upstairs and, you know, atop lying that they want a prayer line, that they came for this. When we get there, they are coming up. One funny story, demanding money. And we discovered that ninety percent of those people from the past were non-members of the church. They were non-members of the church. So what does that tell you? If you put a rule on ground that someone who you know has never been seen before, must rather go through, you know, as some of that process, you will save yourself from such exposures. Because the same way he shows up eventually, shouldn't lie, that is copy. The same way can bring out a pistol, you know, from his back when he eventually gets there. So God will help us. And the Lord is saying, "Don't entrust so much to strangers. Don't entrust so much to strangers." Let there be a process where you confirm. He said, "A stranger who is just passing by is dangerous." You don't know who might get hurt. May your children at home not get hurt in the name of Jesus. Many of you have seen on social media, some video clips, you know, where CCTV cameras exposed some terrible satanic home helps. And you will see the little girl, not more than four years old, two years old, two years old. And then you will see this girl, so trusted by the parents, and let alone with that young girl or young boy. They with him, beat and beat, unknown to them. And everything has been captured in some one of those that was on about a year or two ago. You, after beating and beating, she will go against you, walk away. The child is already crying. And he will go back again. Let him be committed. Knock the child. And they do it with timing. They do it with time. They will make sure they, they finish the beating at least two or three hours before the father or the mother will come back. So no matter how the child cries, the child will eventually lose the stream of crying. So when the parents come back, they may not meet the child crying, but they will discover that the child is unusually, you know, cold. May God deliver you from household wickedness in the name of Jesus. In the name of Jesus.
Proverbs 31, verse 10 to 12. We're closing it up at this time. Proverbs 31, verse 10 to 12. Living Bible. He says, "If you can thank you. If you can truly, if you can find a truly good wife, now, can someone read from the screen? We haven't, we have the scriptures there. Proverbs 31, verse 10 to 12. If you can find a truly good wife, she is what? More than what? Precious jewel. A husband can trust her and she will richly satisfy. Satisfies all around. Is all around. Not the only things you think of, especially a Valentine's period or a runner who's satisfied. Go ahead. She will know why you love him. Okay. Go ahead. Go ahead. She will not hinder him. She will. May God give you a spouse that will help you, not a spouse that will hinder you. Can I hear you? Aiming. Life is hard. Nature. So it's not, it's not even based on how you treated her. That is her life. That is her nature. She's a good woman. She's a good woman. If you can find a truth. Listen to this. A good wife is not easy to come by. So any husband you are here and you perceive that you have a good wife, please place more value on your wife. Place more value. Your wife can finish every good thing in your life. That's it today. Finish your potential. In the days ahead, supervise your debt. But will be the chief mana where you die. Will be the chief mana. If you can find a truly good wife, listen. That's women. Technologies do as such. Do a search on husbands and wives in the scripture. You will observe from Genesis to the Revelation. The focus was on the wife. That you will find. You will not really find a husband who, those days, who does that? Who does that? No. The key is the wife. In fact, a good, a really good wife will make her husband. That's what you, if you, if you understand Proverbs 31, very well. It was not talking about a particular woman that lived. It is describing a model of women that will come in every generation. But they are rare. He said, "A husband sits at the gate." They hope because this woman is to organize. She's everything. She will not only make her children groom her children, she will groom and make her husband. Can a husband who is sure he is blessed with a good wife? Clap, clap for such women. Clap, clap for such women. And if you are sure your wife is really a good wife, let your clap offering be louder. This is scripture. This is scripture. Sometimes something can be the will of God. The character of the person involves quality. So the will of God, that in somebody's chosen by God, doesn't also mean you just take things for granted. Remember Proverbs 14, verse 1. "A wise woman builds a home, but an unwise woman with her own hands, with her own hands, pulls it down." So you can be married to a man that is God's choice for you, but the way you conduct yourself, the way you handle him, can determine how it will go. A husband can trust her.
Then Proverbs 12, verse 4. Proverbs 12, verse 4. This is Living Bible. Now, Living Bible. Yes. "A worldly wife is what? One. A worldly wife. A husband's joy and his crown. The other kind of a wife is what? Controls his straight. It tears down everything. His daughters, everything is done. Whatever. What if whatever you are doing as the husband, she will pull it down. If you are a pastor, she will pull down the church. People live in the church. Is what gives her joy? She's the happiest woman. Anything that gives you pain, anything that ruins what is on ground about your life is what gives her happiness." This is scripture. This is scripture. I know a pastor who used to lead praise songs years ago. Where we knew him, he would raise praise songs, raise praise songs. And then when he started ministry, every time before he would even minister, he will raise at least two, three songs before he would preach. And then the wife came in and gradually, she was killing that pastor's joy, killing his joy, killing his image. And every time the joy that used to be there, the joy of the Lord started drying up. And after a while, the praise songs that pastor used to lead, we've not had any more. Today. So anywhere his friction, where he is, it was what's up to the appearances, preaching. But those who had known him in the past, this man preached with a reason to three songs. I didn't want to use some versions because of the implications. If you go through the December 12, verse 4, read other versions. What is concerned? The word used by most versions is concerned. He said, "That kind of a wife is a cancer in his flesh." That is what most of us. But I know the implication of that. So I knew for something that is a bit easy to hear. He said, "Is a disease in him." The same man, the same man gave him a good wife. And within it, as a pastor, I know I shared it with a few. They recently went through all sorts. Eventually, the wife took the children, did, ran away to America. She blocked up everything. And eventually accepted the reality. And then a word came from a man of God and said to him, "That your restoration will not begin until your landmark birthday." And his landmark birthday was three, like three, four years away. He became angry. "Who are you? False prophet. Are you telling me now that this all these challenges I'm going through will continue till three years' time?" For yes, time. But that was what happened. Nothing changed until his landmark birthday. And in that year, a new lady showed up. When, when you see this pastor today, if he was a lady, you would think he was bleaching. If you see this man today, the man is king. He didn't travel abroad. His, why his skin has changed. When he smiles now, there is a kind of glory that manifests. In those days, when their contributions are going on among pastors, the way you just, who passed, you just turn his face. Now he's giving consistently. And the kind of money he mentions, you respect him. He's a complete package. He's a complete package. May you not be married to a spoiler. May you not be married to a spoiler. Spoiling me. Wait a day that all eyes will be on you, the public will gather to celebrate you. That's the day the spoiler will be, would want to embarrass you. The eyes of everybody. I always like to balance my stories, you know. And everything I'm sharing, I balanced it. You know, in the same way, we are talking about the wife is the center. We have husbands. In this same fashion, who is a disease in the life of the wife? There are many husbands. You can't please him. You can't please him. You can't please him. Before, and she will go for lectures, go for lectures, different places, counselors. If you do this to a good man, he will change. He will love you. You know, other people have tried it, and it works. But if you are married to a perpetual spoiler as a husband, there is nothing you do. So sometimes I will tell you, if you cook all sorts for him, and it will, you will see him. No, it will just eat the food and, you know, use toothpick. Awareness. Door. No compliment. Nothing. Some of you, someone will tell you that, "So, you know, this man, something, sex, they like sex." Finish him. With these sides. Finish. But I tell you, if I do, tell you, do that with him, after a while, even three, seven, and join it, it will ask you, "We are you letting all these things? We are you letting all these things to become trouble? You don't form trouble. You just like that. Like lovely. Is that how your mates are doing it outside? If you not perform now, hold on. We are you learning honesty? Who is your mentor? God will help us in the name of Jesus. Praise here the Lord.
Proverbs 19:14 says, "People receive houses and money from their parents, but the good wife is a gift from the Lord." A good wife is a gift. So men in the house, take note. One of the ways God will bless you in life is to give you a good woman to become your wife. It's not just all about money. It's not all about a big, a good job. One of the ways God would look at you and decide to bless you in life, make your days on earth happy, fulfilling, is to give you a good wife. Is to give you a good wife. Anyone who does not have a soft spot for you must not come too close. Your best friend must certainly be someone that has a soft spot for you. Talk less of your wife or your husband. So what else is the Bible saying? New Living Translation says, "Fathers can give their sons an inheritance of houses and wealth, but only the Lord can give an understanding wife." Only the Lord can give an understanding wife. Understand how to understand me? Somebody they give you that as project? How to understand a woman and a wife? This one, this is volume one out of ten. Is what is happening today? Said God, that I will give you a spouse on my heart who will tell you the truth. You don't decide to surprise your wife. You just take two hundred thousand and give two. Said, "Okay, let me just surprise you today. Please buy just a new shoe for 50k, buy a new dress for 100, and use this other fifty to do that style, hair style." You did your a time. Two hundred thousand free. Oh, thank you so much. I love you. So that you would be nesting. Oh, honey, you know, you still owe me five king. My God, you haven't given me. Stand on your feet.
[Applause] Praise here the Lord. Praise here the Lord. May God bless you. Lift up your hands. May the Lord bless you with good friends. Some of you may relocate to some part of the world at a time and be back. Anywhere you are, at any time and season of your destiny, may the Lord look out for and connect with you at that place and in that location. True friends, in the name of Jesus. We heard from the Bible today that there are friends that ruin their own friends. Their friends that destroy. If their friends, their friends who just come and go. They are fair-weather. Even though you have not changed in your good attributes, they will surely leave you once they are sure they can no longer use you. I pray that God would deliver you from bad friends in the name of Jesus. I pray that God will connect you with the right friends in the name of Jesus. And for every eligible single in this meeting, may the Lord show you mercy and trap from hell to mislead you as a single sister into marriage with a wrong man. The Lord for stretch that trap in the name of Jesus. Every trap from hell to mislead any of our single brothers into captivity in the hands of a bad wife, the Lord show mercy and deliver you in the name of Jesus. And then the question comes, what kind of a friend are you to those you are privileged to be a close friend to? Are you the kind of friend that helps? Are you the kind of friend that supports? Had a kind of friend that is trustworthy? Are you that friend that when your close friend is in pain, you are in pain? And when something good happens for him, it gives you great joy? I pray that everything you have been doing right in the realm of relationship, may the Lord give you double portion of that grace to continue to do it right in the name of Jesus. When bad friends, bad husbands, bad wives are being identified based on reality, may your name never be mentioned. May your name never be mentioned. May your name never be mentioned in the name of Jesus.
[Applause] Lord, we pray especially for all the singles. Between now and the coming year, every one of them that is eligible, Father, you would direct their steps. You will connect them. You are the one that did it in response to Abraham's prayer on behalf of his son Isaac. I right ahead of time, you have taught the steps of Rebekah, and that was how Isaac got connected to his ordained wife. In whatever pattern it will please you to do it, Lord, said to all our eligible singles. Lord, there is a purpose for these series of messages on your choice. We pray, Lord, that whatever are these purposes, even as we have heard from this part of the message today, let that good purpose be fulfilled in the life of everyone here and the life of every family represented. Thank you, Heavenly Father. Thank you, Lord Jesus. Thank you, Holy Spirit. In Jesus name, we have prayed.
