Lord Jesus, I'm calling on you because I need you. I'm just trying to get free and stay free. I want no trouble with no devils. Some stuff felt like it was there before I got here. Stuff my father struggled with, stuff on my mom's side of the family, stuff I inherited. Iniquity. I'm just trying to get free. I don't have a lot. I'll have no big savings account, and I'll come from some royal bloodline. I come from a hard-working mother and a father who walked away. When I'm here, I'm trying to figure out how to, how to get my house back. I know, I know what your word says, but I'm, I'm struggling. I need some help.

I'm going through it. We're kind of struggling a little bit because, uh, a couple weeks ago, man, I found out, I felt like there was some stuff in my house, right? And, and I got, I got like this moment, a breakthrough, you know what I'm saying? I've been in church my whole life. I got this breakthrough, but then feels like everything, all hell broke loose. Wow. And it's strange that when you feel that freedom on one side, the enemy comes from the other angle. Am I the only person that's ever been in a moment where you felt like you had freedom and then out of sudden, there's this scripture? Because the Bible says the sacrifices of God are a broken spirit and a contrite heart. But I need you to know that God, he inspects sacrifices. Seekers in Genesis, there's this scripture. It's crazy, you ain't gonna believe it, right? There's this scripture and, and it's in Genesis where Abraham was sacrificing to God, and the Bible says at night, a smoking oven and a torch shot. And the torch inspected the sacrifice. It's like the thing you give God wants to check it out before he receives it. See, your, your soul is his house. The Bible says in Luke chapter 11, and this is the word of God, y'all got y'all Luke 11? Anybody got it? Go to Luke 11. Luke 11:24, "When an unclean spirit goes out of a man, he goes through dry places seeking rest, finding none. And says, I will return to my house from which I came." Some spirits think that you belong to them. Some spirits think that you belong to them. And so when you get free, when you get saved, they immediately scatter. But the problem with some of us is we think salvation is all we need. But you need more than salvation. You need a sustaining faith. And you can't have that without the Holy Spirit. And if you don't have the Holy Spirit, you're never gonna get the full measure of what Jesus died for. "I will return to my house from which I came. And when he comes, he finds it swept and put in order. And he goes and takes with him seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter and dwell there. And the last state of that man is worse than the first." Tell somebody, it's a trap. Tell somebody, it's a trap.

Ladies and gentlemen, God wants to come to your house and he wants to inspect your sacrifice. He wants to make sure that what you're giving him has been properly formatted so that the Holy Spirit can move in. Welcome to Trap House Part 2: Inspection Day.

Yo, man, but I, y'all, my dudes, and I feel like I've been going through it. And it's crazy, man, 'cause I feel like I'm trying to, I'm trying to lead my house. And every time I'm trying to get, you know, the, the footing in my house, that the enemy shows up. Me and Avenue be fit, girl. See, my thing is this way. This is it. It seems like the devil always shows up every time I'm trying to get free, every time I'm trying to do better. And he always brings drama with the person closest to me. You feel what I'm saying? Freeze. How many other people can attest that every time you're trying to do something right, the enemy hits you with the person closest to you?

And we're back. It feels like there's this time, man, where every time there's a little bit of peace, all hell breaks loose. I'm trying to get it, man. Now, you've been married longer than me. Be, is it just me? No, it ain't just you, man. Happens to everybody. All right. Because this feels like it's some spirits even now. I can't see them, but I just feel like in here, it is weird in this career, bro. I'll need you to judge my crib. My bad, my bad. But every now and then, there's another part of me, man, 'cause when she started talking that talk, she'll be messing with my manhood. He needs you to leave the door crack because the enemy thrives on space. All he needs is a small area to get in, and then he will blow it up. It'll start as a small argument. Some of us had one this morning. Keeping it 100. Me and this one right here had a neck nice one this morning. A text argument back and forth before the first service. And I said, Dad, God, if the very devil ain't trying to expose, come messing with me before I get to preach it, which means somebody here is about to get delivered. See, the enemy's trying to get in. In Galatians 5, chapter 5, verse 19, says, "Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, a rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like, of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in times past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God." But the fruit of the Spirit. Before we get there, I need you to stay right there because we got to deal with some of these spirits that you don't let in your house. And I'm back. All of those extra wires, that means there's been some other conversation because you're not, you're not just saying hey with all those wires. If it's not something else going on between you and another woman acting like she loved church in Rome, last full of minutes, how about that? Freeze. I was having a moment with my brothers, but because we weren't on one, of course, she walked in and she brought jumping to conclusions with her. That spirit will come in and create an entire scenario or something the other person didn't even do. Jumping to conclusions is connected to insecurity, and it's always next to this spirit. The spirit of strife always wants to mess with your house, always creating division in your house. And then it's always, stand up, Kiki, do you love me? Are you crying? Are you damn it? 'Cause you always in your feelings. How many women can be honest to say you have been in your feelings? Matter of fact, anybody that's ever jumped to a conclusion without getting all the information, stand up and just hop. If you've ever jumped to it, conclude that a fact, popped three times. If

Wow, everybody doesn't air. Everybody does it. The problem is, I was actually close to a breakthrough, but because there was already division, the pride that was on me was already ready to fight. And it wasn't just pride. When she starts accusing me and stuff, then the rage sets in. Because rage is that thing in me. Dec, when you challenged my manhood, I'ma let you know I'm a grown man. I'm a grown man. You don't talk to me. Earth, a Brahmin. I'm a big dog. I'm not a look. And we're back. Now, you just gonna choose me? You'll sit up in here in my house and accuse me? Yeah, I got to deal with this. You, you don't have to deal with this. You made a promise to God in front of me. What? Yeah, yeah. You made a promise to God in front of me. Wait a minute. You hungry? Something is up at that. It goes playing that somebody's comfortable. They're comfortable enough to say, "Hey, that long under your post, right? Right. Hey, that's enough." I don't know who it is. Start no stuff. Freeze. The spirits are determined to create division in your house. And I need you to see the picture because when a man feels attacked, he goes to rage. When a woman feels uncovered, she gets in her feelings. And then insecurity sneaks in. Now offense comes in. And when offense comes in, nobody can hear what the other person is saying. How many people have ever been offended? It don't matter if what they said is right, you don't hear it. I need you to know some of the spirits in your house, it's some stuff going on, and you ain't crazy. You sense something that's wrong. And today, you need to go home. And some of y'all gonna need to open some doors and some windows and say, "Everything that ain't God got to get out, and everything that is God has to come in." Now, I need a five-second praise break right there.

Freeze. Freeze. Familiar spirit, come here. Because what happens is, when you get offended, you start looking for familiar spirits. Something that feels familiar. Somebody that understands me. Yes, my wife don't understand me, so I needed somebody. Need to talk to me that understands. Be careful, fellas, because I don't care what she says, she says she understands. It's a spirit behind it. The Bible says, "All who go to her, all who saw are strong men." It only looks for strong men. She don't want no weak man. She wants the strong man. It's not her, it's the spirit. And once you're seated, if they get you'll see to get your legacy. Be careful 'cause familiar spirits make you feel good and say things like this. Let me tell you something. The way you coming at me in my house, you know, utilize this. This is the whole life for you. Everything, everything, everything. If I don't do what I do, you can't do what you do. And if I don't do what I do, you can't have what you have. I provide for my house. I provide for you. I'm the one paying this mortgage. I pay for all of them muffins for them kids that eat everything in the house. You little Finn, these flip-flops I gave you for your birthday. Who cares about that? What is going on? What is really going on? You think I'm stupid? I'm not. I'm far from stupid. I'm far from stupid. You're crazy. First of all, the people don't know it. Hold on, hold on. Keep talking. Okay, when we first met, you knew who I was. You knew I was broken. I told you what it was. So you either need to be patient. But you see the door. Be careful, men, when you get in pride and you get in rage, you say things you do not mean. Because I can tell you right now, all the enemy wants through the spirit of strife is to create a level of division that causes you to throw your favor out the door. And when your favor leaves, your covering leaves. And when your covering leaves, your protection leaves. Don't let the enemy cause you to throw the very thing that's protecting you away. I need a seven-second praise break.

See the door. I see the door. In me, in the two littles that track behind me that I went to death's door to bring into this world, almost lost my life giving birth to your legacy. Oh, let me tell you something. I had enough back from April 28th, 2010, when I found the receipt with two entrees on it, right? And I wasn't even present for that meal. Remember that? Why do y'all bring up stuff from ten years ago like it's relevant today? I'll tell you why. Familiar spirits, insecurity, jumping to conclusions, in your feelings. These spirits tear apart relationships. And it's not just for married folk, for single folk too. Because some of y'all have a problem trusting because somebody from your past hurt you. And now you're looking at everybody through the lens of your bad choice. Every choice you made, every relationship that didn't work, the only constant is you.

And in a moment like this, when all hell's breaking loose, somebody somewhere better get a word. Did you hear what I said? Somebody somewhere better get a word. And we're back. Aven, sir. When you're battling, when the devil is trying to tear up your house, trying to tear up your mind, trying to mess with your peace, somebody better get a word. Because the only thing that's gonna stop the spirit of strife and confusion and lack of forgiveness and all of these other spirits, somebody better get the Holy Ghost on the scene. Aventure, I feel like there's some spirits in this house. I know I let some of them in. See, the Bible says that the devil hates light, and you're only as sick as your secrets. Some stuff you got to expose. And I'm gonna just tell it to you like this. Every time you attack me, the insecurities from my childhood have sprung up all the way from the day I was sexually abused at four years old to right now. In the rage from the people that betrayed me and hurt me that I could never get back. I attacked you because you're the one closest to me. And I'm sorry. I got saved at seven, and every now and then I still battle with pride. And when I let pride in, all these other spirits come with it. Because once you get free, you bring them spirits back. But the Bible says the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. Holy Spirit, come back into this house. And don't just come by yourself. Right here, this is the key. This is how you put the enemy on his back. When you get an agreement, because if any two of us touching and agreeing, it will be done for them. And the enemy would try to create a wedge. But when the Holy Spirit comes, the Holy Spirit doesn't come by himself. The fruit of the Spirit comes with the Holy Spirit. And the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, goodness, gentleness, huh, kindness, long-suffering, faithfulness. Not your enemy. We have a common enemy, but I'm not your enemy. Hold on. I just heard the door slam. Some of y'all need to understand that once you expose the enemy, you have to ask the Holy Spirit to come into your house. Your house is not just your, your soul. Some of y'all need to actually have the Holy Spirit in your house. Some of y'all need to go in there today with your prayer language. Just walk in. Anyway, where you been? / table outside time. I'm on my schuko today. But what is that? Each cut out. I'm turbo CA. Because some stuff needs to change in your house. Because God is coming. And I need you to understand that when the Holy Spirit comes, he comes with the fruit of the Spirit. Everybody say fruit. Fruit has a T on it, not an S. It's not fruits. You see nine things, but the reality is, if you get one piece, all of it comes. Come here, fruit of the Spirit. Some of y'all need to change the temperature in your house. Aventure, I speak that the spirit of joy come upon you. Joy come upon you. Peace. I need my peace because peace is a soldier. I declare I'm gonna be more patient. Man, I'm asking that you be more gentle with me. Alex, I'll be more self-control. I need some control come on my side. Lord, teach me how to be faithful to my house, faithful to my wife, faithful to my children, faithful to my family. Teach me how to love you like Christ loved the church. I just want to be heard. I want to be heard with objective ears, not with condescending responses, not with what I did before, but give me an opportunity to get it right before you judge me. By opening my mouth, haven't even said a word yet. I need to be able to express myself in a safe place. I don't feel safe when I speak to you. But I thank God that the Word of God is the prevailing entity in this home that we are to be guided by.

If you will be patient with me, because the truth is, I don't know how to lead a house. I watched a woman lead every house I've been in. I watched a woman lead my house, and a woman led her house. All the men that were supposed to be in place were nowhere to be found. So I'm doing the best that I can. I know I got a lot to learn. But before you came in with your home girls, you and the rest of SWV, Isaac saying, "Clean this house." I need God to clean me out. And then B, hit me with a trill verse. What's in your house? Did you have any of those black shirts in your house? Anything sitting up under the cabinet? Anything on your DVR? You need to delete any DMs need to be slid out of. The purpose of this message is to show you that there are spirits at work. Heaven is real. Hell is real. Angels are real. Demons are real. But the Holy Spirit is more real. Holy Spirit, if you'll just come to the front, I need you to understand the theology of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is not God Junior. It's not a lesser version of God. The Holy Spirit is the fullness of the Father and the machination, the hands and feet of Jesus, doing the inner work, the inner carpentry. Because some stuff the devil got under the rug, because you can't sweep demons under the rug. Did you hear what I said? Some of that stuff needs to go. And some of it wasn't your fault. It came with your parents. It got in illegally through abuse. I know I ain't the only person in here who suffered through abuse. Is there anybody else who's willing to admit? I know it's painful. Even online, some of us who were supposed to cover us stole our innocence. But it doesn't mean that you have to live in bitterness and rage. You can get free. The Holy Spirit can come and heal you from the inside out.

And I want you to know that the Holy Spirit will come and inspect your house. Look around. Rearrange the furniture. Rearrange appliances. Why? Because the Holy Spirit loves you so much and wants to see you look more like Jesus. So whether you're single, whether you're married, find yourself somewhere in between. My prayer is that you will ask the Holy Ghost, "Will you please come in? Will you begin to do the necessary work on the inside of me and bring the fruit of the Spirit with you?" Is there anybody other than me that needs more of the Holy Spirit on the inside? If I'm talking to you, stand up. If I'm talking to you, stand up. Excuse me, self-control. If you got all the fruit of the Spirit, stay where you are. Actually, I mean, leave, but don't leave. See, the enemy is looking to create fault lines. Somebody say fault lines. There was this movie out with The Rock called San Andreas. San Andreas is a fault. A fault is the space between two tectonic plates. And see, what the devil wants to do is he wants to create friction between two different entities. If you're single, he wants to create a distance between you and your future, or he wants to bring up your past and he'll try to grind it up against who you're trying to become, trying to hold you hostage. If you're married, then he'll try to make you go to war with your spouse. It's a devil that wants to create an earthquake. But the power of the Holy Spirit is that the Holy Spirit can unify where there's been division. The Holy Spirit can bring healing to broken areas. How does it happen? The power of agreement. Somebody link elbows. You don't have to hold hands. People been digging, sneezing.

As your arms are locked, ask somebody, "Will you fight with me?" How many people in here know somebody who needs this message? Anyway, I can't lift my hands 'cause my elbows. Let the elbows go so I can see if I'm talking to the right people. Who needs this message? By the way, to all the people in the Bishop's Chapel, we have a completely full Bishop's Chapel, completely full lobby, completely full overflow rooms. We love you. This is the scripture: First Timothy 1:18 and 19, "This charge I commit to you, son Timothy, according to the prophecies previously made concerning you, that by them you may wage the good warfare, having faith and a good conscience, which some having rejected concerning the faith have suffered shipwreck." Thank you, Holy Spirit. The Bible says, "I commit to you according to the prophecies made that you may wage warfare." Tell somebody, "Will you fight with me?" God has spoken something over your house. Did you hear what I said? He's spoken something over your house, but you gonna have to fight for it. James, you think you're gonna let you be a best-selling author. My new book comes out October 30th. I'm terrified. You know why? 'Cause the devil lies to me and says, "Nobody wants to read what you wrote. Nobody wants to read what you were. You're not a good pastor. Nobody's coming to your church." He's a liar. I told the staff 26 days ago, there was gonna be a breakthrough on October 7th. What's today? Said there was gonna be a breakthrough. I didn't know what it was. We had the biggest attendance we've ever had. Biggest attendance we ever had. What time did I go to sleep? 3:00 in the morning. What time to get up? 6:00. Three hours of sleep. Got attacked in my body last night out of nowhere. The whole right side of my body felt like something was stabbing me. I was in so much pain, and I'm still in pain right now. But I didn't let it stop me. Because sometimes you got to fight through things. I'm getting ready to help somebody, and somebody gonna help me.

I asked my wife, I said, "Please pray for me." And she prayed. And I said, "Let me ask you something. If you saw somebody physically attacking me, what would you do?" She said, "I'd fight him." I said, "For how long?" She said, "Until the attacks stopped." Some of y'all pray for five minutes and wonder why the devil ain't left. You don't have to fight a little harder. You're gonna have to pray a little louder. Matter of fact, you might need to let the elbows go and lift your heads and make a sound. Because some stuff needs to fight. Because that devil is not gonna let your house go without a fight. You better have the fruit of the Spirit to keep that door closed. You better have the fruit of the Spirit, and you better find somebody to get an agreement in your house. Father, in the name of Jesus, my house belongs to you. My children belong to you. Our family belongs to you. This marriage belongs to you. Everything you've given us belongs to you. Now I lay down my pride, my fear, my shame, my guilt, my insecurity, and every other place of baggage. And I loose liberty in this house. Goodness, gentleness, patience, faithfulness, self-control. In the name of peace. I need somebody to begin to war for your house. Cover your theory.

Stand next to your mama. I declare that my daughter and my son will serve the Lord. My house will serve the Lord. My children will be better than me. Don't go further than me. They'll fly higher than me. They'll run faster than me. My son won't deal with the spirits that I dealt with. God, let me overcome, and so my son doesn't have to deal with it. Give me strength to break the generational curse. I need somebody to begin to fight for your family. It's inspection day, and the Holy Ghost is moving in. And the sacrifices of God are a broken spirit and a contrite heart. And if your heart is right, and you lay down your pride, the Holy Spirit can move in, and the fruit of the Spirit can take over. I need a few worshipers in the room.
