The biggest reason for his popularity has been his unique teaching style and, along with that, providing education at a low fee. All these things are considered to be the reason for his fame. While many big coaching institutions in the country charge thousands or even lakhs of rupees as fees from students, Khan Sir has always presented himself as a teacher who wants to give economically weaker students an opportunity to prepare for competitive exams. This is why he has carved out a distinct identity among students in Bihar and many parts of North India. But just as popularity grows rapidly, controversies also follow just as rapidly. Khan Sir's career has not been untouched by this. On June 2, 2026, his coaching center located in Musallahpur Haat was attacked at around 10:00 PM at night, during which his boards were broken. Stones were also thrown, and one of his guards was injured. According to information, Khan Sir was not present there at that time. He reached there at 11:30 PM and assessed the situation. After this, speaking to the media, he said that his coaching center had been attacked. He also claimed that eight rounds of firing were carried out at his coaching center. He accused his rival coaching center, Gyan Bindu, of this attack and said that they are against his low-cost education model, which is why they got this done. The institution against which Khan Sir made allegations of attack also made a sensational claim. The institution said that this incident was orchestrated by Khan Sir himself. From this entire episode, it is clear that this is a fight between two coaching centers, which has escalated to vandalism, hooliganism, and firing. What is the reason for the enmity between Roshan Sir of Gyan Bindu and Khan Sir? Why are the two biggest teachers of Patna facing off today? This began with the race to establish dominance in Patna's coaching hub. On one side is the social media star Khan Sir, and on the other side is Roshan Anand Sir, famous as the "Daroga Factory." This rivalry between them is years old. It started with taunting each other in classrooms, tearing up coaching posters, and fighting over credit for toppers of government exams. While Roshan Anand calls Khan Sir a "reel" teacher, meaning just a social media teacher, both factions have accused each other of vandalism and attacks in classrooms. So, let's return to the incident that occurred on June 2. The vandalism at the coaching center led to considerable outrage among Khan Sir's students. Thousands of students gathered outside Khan Sir's institution and started chanting slogans of "Khan Sir Zindabad." A complaint was also lodged at the Kadmkuan police station based on Khan Sir's statement, but later the police declared the claim of firing in the statement to be false, stating that Khan Sir had not mentioned anything of the sort in his own complaint. After this, Khan Sir also changed his statement. Speaking to the media, he said that he felt that firing had occurred. In this case, the police took Roshan Anand of Gyan Bindu institution and his associates into custody. Later, CCTV footage revealed that the firing was carried out by Khan Sir's guards. Both guards fired four rounds in the air. One of them is named Pradeep Kumar, aged 38, and the other is Talabar Singh, aged 34. The guards stated in their statement that Khan Sir had told them to fire and said that he would take care of anything that happened. Based on this statement, the police registered an FIR against Khan Sir, charging him under Section 109 of the Indian Penal Code for attempt to murder and Sections 25, 9, 27, 35 of the Arms Act. After the FIR was registered, news of Khan Sir surrendering also started to surface. However, his lawyer, Arvind Kumar Mawar, told the media that Khan Sir was not surrendering and that his lawyers would approach the Patna Civil Court for anticipatory bail. The hearing for his bail took place on June 8, where the judge decided to reserve the judgment. On June 9, the Patna Civil Court granted Khan Sir interim protection. Khan Sir's troubles did not end here. The Bihar Fire Services Department has issued notices to Khan Global Studies and Khan Healthcare, which are operated by Khan Sir. The notices highlighted serious fire safety deficiencies after auditing the premises. Officials warned that if the serious fire safety deficiencies were not rectified within the stipulated time frame, the facility would be sealed entirely. All this is happening at a time when Khan Sir was embroiled in a dispute with a national-level anchor. The teacher controversy with Anjana Om Kashyap. We have discussed this in detail. Recently, after Anjana Om Kashyap's statement on YouTube teachers, Khan Sir and several other teachers made videos against Anjana Om Kashyap, and online campaigns were also run at that time, due to which TV Today Group and Anjana Om Kashyap filed a defamation case against Khan Sir. Several other teachers are also named in this case. In the defamation case, they are accused of using abusive language and running an online campaign against Anjana Om Kashyap. This entire case is for ₹10 crore in defamation, the hearing for which also took place in the Delhi High Court on June 8. Anjana Om Kashyap also stated that Khan Sir publicly mentioned private information about her children. This is not the first time that Khan Sir's name has come up in such matters. In January 2025, the Bihar Public Service Commission issued a legal notice to Khan Sir and Prashant Kishor for their comments regarding alleged irregularities and score standardization processes. The commission claimed that their remarks had incited student protests and included statements disrespectful to the commission. Before this, in 2022 as well, Patna Police had registered an FIR against Khan Sir, in which he was taken into custody on charges of inciting violence and damaging government property during the Railway Recruitment Board protests. Following this, Khan Sir issued a statement urging the protesting students to keep their protests peaceful. Despite so many controversies, one thing that remained most discussed was the support from students. As soon as the news of the attack surfaced, a large number of students gathered outside the institution. Campaigns in support of Khan Sir also started on social media. The reason behind this is not just his popularity but also his public image built over the years. Khan Sir has often spoken openly on issues related to students' financial problems, unemployment, competitive exams, and the education system. Many students see him not just as a teacher but as someone who understands their problems. However, in any legal matter, popularity and public support are not the ultimate truth.
