Yeah, I think we— It starts at like 6:00 or 7:00 a.m. and it's, of course, not in the city. So we got to find a way to get there and I'm sure the traffic is going to be atrocious. So we'll show you what that's like. Epic.
And we have to get to our hotel and hope for some reason they're not, uh, closed. Laying on a c next to, uh, the check-in desk. That's a reference to a Vietnam video that's coming out. So instead of sitting in that line, and a Grab's not coming up, we're going to walk 15 minutes to the main road and wish for better luck. It might just be empty. It's just a highway, so who knows. True. Yeah, but maybe a Grab will be more, more likely to stay on the road or something. We'll, we'll see. We'll see. That's what we're looking at. Very epic. Epic. This is what we're dealing with. We're just walking along a bridge in the provinces. What a first, a good first province experience. I wish it was bright out so we could see stuff. Yeah, we can't see anything. Oh, yes. It was a bit of a long drive, but not too bad. We got it for a little less than the Grab price. The meter, he turned on the meter. We gave a, we got a price, and then he turned on the meter at the same time, and it was seven pesos higher than the meter. So we didn't actually get scammed. So we're right next to it. Park. Uh, we're staying down the road here. And a midnight snack at Max Shack. Oh, yeah. It's pretty much the only thing open. But it looks, there's a lot of people out here. Yeah, this street down here is very open. There's just tons of people on. They're just in there eating like street food. It has a totally different vibe than Manila. Way different. Way different. This is better than Manila. Everyone's title ever. It's a weird vibe. It's like, it's more unfamiliar. Manila has a familiarity to it, I feel like. Like we've talked about in our videos. Yeah. And now this feels like very, very different. We'll see how it is in the morning too, obviously. Every time we arrive into a city at night, it's completely different. And there's just, just people wandering the streets and smoking and probably some are very drunk. So, I mean, we're getting the night crowd. Saturday night crowd. Oh, yeah. There's a lot of people congregating. Definitely the, the biggest parade I've been to. I think biggest parade ever. So it seems like you get super packed this way. So much so that people are leaving this area to go back to where we were. Guessing that the parade is starting and it's just going to come down the street. We will see. We will see. It's getting. It might be cloudy, but it's getting hot. It's quite hot. The sweat's coming. And on the nice white shirt. Oh, it's going to look good. The thin white shirt. It's going to look good. So apparently the parade now doesn't start till 9:30. Originally 9. We have a front row seat. And, uh, we got half an hour to sit here and boil. Well, look, there's a lot of people everywhere. I should pour this on my head. We're going to get to that point. At this. We still don't know exactly what's going on. Analog. It's really hot. It's really hot. It's, uh, now at 10:00, by the way. Uh, it's like 9:40, probably right now. 9:40. Apparently applies to festivals, not just reels. And it even happened with a concert. This is quite epic. When it's this hot, we to bring sunscreen. That was a huge mistake. There's a lot of people trying to get into the front of the line. There was some cameraman getting through. So the people were making a gaps to get through. And then these people just zoomed up right in the gap and got right here. There was a bee on me. It was just my feather. That would suck to carry. That really would. Just all we just walk with the parade, guys. 1:00 p.m. now. What the? I don't know how something can be delayed for for 4 hours. That's a long time in the hot humid weather. And we're hungry. It's quite busy. There's a snake right there. Hey, this is what we're dealing with now. It was a lot nicer when it was about to start, however many hours ago it is. Really busy. Did stop in the mall. Wow. We're not going to be able to eat anything. We're going to explore this later when it's not this busy. Hope. Yeah, for a video. But I don't even know if we're going to be able to eat anything. The funny thing is, I totally thought that was my de. Kind of. It's the nice neon. Funny thing is, I hate, uh, cucumbers, but cucumber lemonade is very yummy. I tried to get the bangus, but they didn't have any bangus right now. That's so sad. It is quite busy in here. I'll eat it off the stick first. Oh, wo. That is really, really tender for pork. Like, falls right off the stick. We got this in, uh, 45 seconds. Literally sat down here. Crazy. They're just cooking a rack ton of them on the grill over there. That's pretty good. It's not going to be a bunch of food, but it tastes very good. Look at the people piling in. Oh, everyone's getting out of the heat. There's probably more people. Probably figured it out than it's later. Yeah. So I think you're supposed to start it offsite. Yep. B of a wet stick. Ooh, ooh. It's very oily. Yeah. Filipino barbecue is impressive. They just kind of have random floats go by sometimes. Like that was just a random Jolly float. And then there was a bus following it. Update. He got pushed back again. I only have one feather too. He. He's down to. He just pushed that thing over. Yeah, that kid. A delinquent. No, not actually. But I mean, we slept for 3 hours for this. So we can get up early and get to the thing at 9:00. Wait, did said it was supposed to be? And now now it's not until 2:00. So it's added 5 hours. We could have slept for 5 more hours. A nice perfect 8 hours sleep. Oh man. Yeah, this is PR. Just all super busy. Every restaurant. We luckily got in. The guard told us earlier that I think most people knew about it being delayed. So we got into a restaurant before everyone. But now all the lines are just so long. Imagine if we would have decided, hey, let's, let's just stick this one out and stay in the front. And would still be out there hungry and thirsty. And have calog. Epic fail. We'll see. We got half a day left. You got to make up for it. It better. This parade better be insane. Insane. Oh, look at children. We're still waiting. It seems like it's not going to start till 3:00 now because they said the Holy Mass was at 2:00. This is really getting delayed. We're going to go out there and see if there's any floats. But it looks like more people are coming in as if it's like over. We're still waiting. More people are coming into the mall than going out. We heard that the mass is at 2:00 now or something. Um, so maybe that means the parade's at 3:00. And what it's like 2:23 right now. Every single person we ask, like, there's people that have recognized us. They're like, oh, I know you vlogged. They like, oh, okay. We, you know, the whole picture scenario. And then after we're like, like, do you know when the parade is supposed to start? And they both times we've asked, they said, oh, it's at 9:00. Oh, it was an hour ago. So nobody even knows when it is or when people think it happened. Every time we've asked a guard or some sort of person that's working for the thing, they say an hour later than what time it is at the moment. So like when we asked at 1:00, they said 2:00. But now it seems like at 2:00, it's going to be three. Oh, it's really bright out. It's really, really hot too. Imagine if we were still sitting out there right now. Oh, we'd be dead. Look at that mountain view. So has some nice mountains. Gosh, I like that random pillar. There's broken glass. They could have filled that with more stores. I could have been the biggest mall if they would have filled up with stores. True. Not epic, but we're sitting. Hopefully we'll see you guys at the parade. It's now almost three. We're getting more conflicting information. Yeah, it's every person we ask, whether it's cops or guards, they don't seem to know what's going on. Everyone says different times to when the parade was or when it's going to be. When it was, uh, we hear people in here. I mean, look at all these people. There's this mall is just filling up, filling up, filling up. Nobody knows what's happening. It's not like everyone's like done and sitting chilling out. Everyone doesn't know what's going on. Some people are just walking. Some people are waiting, sitting down. Somebody walking by was like, this is what we paid 600 pesos for to come here. And cuz it was a further taxi. Yeah. And this is we've literally done nothing. We've done that. We sat in the sun for 2 hours. And we've sat in the mall for 4 hours. We purchased some stuff. I don't understand what's happening. Night's way cooler. Nobody tells us anything. Nobody knows. The cops don't know. The people don't know. Nobody knows. Everyone's just sitting in this mall now. Just walking in circles. The mall's making bank. I, we think it's a setup from SM. They paid the Cebu City to put it here and then not do anything. So everyone has to stay in this fall and buy food. Literally. I think it might be at this point. Is it just all messed up cuz they moved a location? Probably. Probably. I feel like stuff will be cooler in the city than out here. Let's hope so. We'll see if this parade ever starts. If not, it might be back tonight. If you could say foreigners are definitely shocked by this, but not in the way you expect. Look at all of these people. We have not seen a mall this busy since we are in Dubai. If you want to watch our first impressions of Dubai video, that's like what we're dealing with right now. But no one's in, like, the people are in onap, but like nobody's in any of the stores either. No, literally not at all. People are only going to restaurants and sitting around. I've never seen this many people sitting on the floor of a mall. This is insane. All right, this may not be the floor we want to walk on. My foot is getting run over. Yes, yes. Hey, hey, hey, hey. By some definitions, the biggest in the world. Yes, it's that is a big mall. We're going to go get some water. And then I guess when three rolls around, we'll see if something happens. The sun is insanely hot. It is. I'm already sweating again. And we've been out here for 10 minutes, 15 minutes. No one seems like they're enjoying. There's no noise. I would have expected this festival to be to be very loud. 90% of the people aren't even looking at the parade right now. Look at everybody back there. Is this it? I don't know. Everything today has just been confusion. Someone say, I am confusion. We had the schedule already before we came. We looked up everything we could. A few people sent us stuff about the schedule too. And we got here right on time. And this is what we got. And seems like whatever the schedule is, they just decided not to follow it at all. Even though that was the schedule they posted. I don't know. Look at that. They still haven't moved. This would be pretty decently cool if there was 1% of the people here. Yeah. And it was, um, 250% faster. Yes. Deo seems like a cool city festival. I'm up, up for debate still. Okay guys, so this parade that we've been waiting hours for has been going by. And look at how many people are leaving. Everyone's leaving. Look at how many people are just going into the mall now. I don't. I think something might have went wrong. I, I feel like this whole, uh, festival is like a mess. Like, look at the performers. The performers don't even seem like they know what like happening right now. We know how Vlogs can be when you say something negative. And we know how people react. But we're just trying to say the truth here of how we see it. It seems like something's wrong. We've just been sitting around waiting. And then everyone just seems super disappointed. People are leaving. This was full when this thing started. We were standing in a crowd. And people are gone. People are going into the mall. People have been going into the mall for hours. And it's getting more and more full. When this thing should be going more and more like crazy. Okay, so we got here, what time did we get here? 9:00. 9:00. We got here at 9:00 or 8:30. 8:30. It's about 4:00 now. All we've done is buy some trinkets. And now we've watched the parade for 15 minutes. And we've been here for hours. Look at this. Was all people. Even the stairs. There's open places on the stairs. This was awful. The disappointment. I don't think it's just us that are disappointed by this. I don't understand. We think possibly that the biggest thing that they tried to push for was to get the whole festival in the SRP grounds. But we think that messed up every everything. Cuz it's 20 minutes outside of the city. Something went terribly wrong. Yeah, this is nothing. This is all about the festival. The Sabu videos will be coming after our Vietnam Series. So that'll be a totally different vibe. But so far, this festival has been underwhelming to say the least. Hopefully there's something cool tonight. We'll let you know. We'll update you if anything happens. In between that float that was right there was across the street when we first came out here, which was like a half an hour ago. We came out here out here at 3:15. 45 minutes ago. And it's not. We're not that far from the turnaround spot. We don't know what to do exactly. Cuz there's a grand finale later in this area with fireworks. But who knows if that's going to be on time. And then there's supposed to be a party or concert in Sabu City an hour later. Who knows if that's going to be on time. So we don't know where we're going to go. We don't know if we want to stay for this. We don't know what to do. Very epic. It's really hot. It is hot. And we only slept for 3 hours. Yeah. And I'm still a bit hungry. A guys find a garbage can. I guess they didn't put any garbage cans out. So, um, yeah. Oh my [Applause] God. While we were sitting down, we talked to the person next to us. And they said that they were just completely confused. And a little disappointed as well about the whole thing. They're just sitting on there on their phones. That's interesting. Interesting. I don't blame them cuz it's hot out. But a lot of the performers, uh, look like they're not having much fun. Half of the drummers weren't drumming when they. The confusion continues. A ton of people are just running to some place. And they keep bumping into us. I'm not sure what's [Music] [Music] happening. Is, uh, quite the walk getting out of here. We're walking over there to try and get that way. And they just left us open. So now we had to pike all the way around. And now we're here. Even through all the [Music] motorcycle. This is currently chaos. I have no clue what's going on. Everyone's trying to get on this bus. I don't even know. BS is not opening his door either. He's just trying to drive. And everyone keeps getting closer. That's stampede conditions right there. To slowly open the door so they don't just in. Oh, they're showing their tickets that they have for it. So people had to buy that already. Look at that. Is not down there. We're trying to walk out of here, hoping we're going to get a taxi outside of this area. I don't think it's going to happen. All those people are also thinking the same thing. And there's a lot of people. There's still a lot of people way down there. And there's still a lot of people walking into the event too. Hey, the mall is lighting up. Yeah, it does. We have to check out more of that mall. It looks very cool. You got a long way to walk, dude. This has been quite the event. Oh, we can just try to hoard into a bus. Oh, yeah, yeah. I don't know how they bought their tickets, but they had tickets. So well, bridge, big bridge. We just been continuing down this bridge. And, um, yeah, it's very full. A lot of the young, younger people seem to be going in. Wherever the families are going out. Like anything was happening? No, not at all. Nothing happened all day, to be honest. It really didn't. We were hoping there'd be taxis at the end, but I don't think there's going to be. We might have to walk two hours. So yeah, that's going to be fun. Cuz we've already been doing nothing all day. This area is pretty cool, I think. But it's hard for us to explore with the low light. It's really dark. Really dark. And very crowded. And we just had to walk like multiple miles to get here. And we're hungry. And just been fly for everything. So we're going to chill out for a second. Yeah, we left the park area. Now we're just walking in the street. We thought we could have a plan where we go to the Robinson's Mall up here. It's about a 20-minute walk. But it seems like everyone else is going this way too. So I don't know. It seems like people are just all over the street. Stay away from the parts that are scheduled because I don't know. Doesn't seem to be people too many people. It's pretty nice mall, actually. Looks like this is really nice. It's got like an outdoor area that looks pretty cool too, like MOA style. And, uh, very epic. I don't know if there's. It would be cool to explore this place. Or our legs are a little fried. I just want some Fring food. I want some food too. We're very hungry. We burned off all the calories we've eaten today. And, uh, if you're wondering why we're in such a bad mood, we're hangry. We're tired cuz we got 3 hours of sleep. And people are being a bit weird to us, rude. And we waited hours and hours and hours and hours and hours at that place. We're at a place called Brick Brick Brick Brick with a C. We got flatbread. It kind of just looks like pizza. Anchorman's an amazing movie, by the way. It [Music] is. It's pretty good. The sauce, some parts might have a little bit too much, but it's pretty like since it's a flat R, it's a really thin layer of soft, which is good. It's like so thin. It's a, um, chip. Yeah, I already ate mine. Um, I was so hungry. I just instantly ate it. Really hungry. So, uh, it was yummy. It's like a little pizza. Basically a pizza chip. Like wrinkles rice. I've had this before. It's really good. There's a place, uh, in Minnesota that has really good chicken biscuits and gravy. Oh, I wish we had some biscuits with it. That'd be so good. Ooh, there's a little spice in there. Little flavor in there. It's good. The chicken's actually crispy. And with the rice, it gives it a very interesting. I don't know how you just describe it. Um, more texture. Little things that chew on and break AP in your mouth. Crunchy, saucy, chickeny. And, uh, some pepper in there. It's good. First off, I obviously got to start with an honorary rice taste test. Oh, you have to. It's too sticky. Oh, there we go. I got two grains right here. Sub bar. All righty. I'm excited. Eat that. I don't have my fork. I would describe it, but it's exactly what Tyler said. But it is very tasty. It's tasty. I'm impressed. It's a pretty solid place. We've never heard of before. No fried chicken and gravy. Heck yeah. Jolly, where you at? Where you at? [Music] Boys, we had 15,000 steps today. We're back in the hotel. We took a Grab. We actually got one. We were trying to flag down a taxi forever. And then suddenly I look at my phone and there's a Grab waiting there. And I'm like, oh, there's a Grab. According to the Grab, apparently they don't do the color thing anymore. Yeah, we were like, where's the colors? Cuz we always saw the pictures of the colors and we thought we were going to get doused in colors and stuff. And we watched like some old calog videos and they looked so fun. It looked like something we'd enjoy. And, yeah, they don't do it apparently anymore because people didn't like it. So they don't do it anymore. We kind of drove through it park, got dropped off at 7-Eleven. We have some snacks to try. And there was not that many people out in IT Park. We thought there would be like some parties or stuff going on. It just, just seemed like everybody was going to the club. Yeah, which we're not going to do that. No, we're not going to be clubbing. Overall, I mean, the day it was, we, we were obviously overreacting a bit when it was the time because we were hungry. And, uh, tired. And everything. It was a decent day. It was, it was, it was, uh, definitely could have been a thousand times better. It's hard to say. We were, I mean, we were definitely hating on the event itself because of how long we had to wait. But like, overreacting for a 7-hour delay? No, it's just we, uh, directed our anger in different ways. Yeah, I mean, like the parade itself was pretty cool. It was a bit slow, but like, not even just slow to get there in the first place, but slow to like go through. And then we went to that like, we had a few clips of like the Independence Plaza area, which was really cool. But we were exhausted and hungry at that point, so we didn't even get to really do much about it. Super crowded. And another thing is they didn't really have a way for people to leave. N the festival. They, cuz this is a new thing apparently this year is having it on SM or SRP right next to SM. SM seems they got a nice deal out of that. Definitely. There was thousands and thousands of people in that mall. We were basically, you basically get dropped off there by your taxi, but then there's no way out cuz they stopped letting taxis in. So we walked along this long bridge heading back to IT Park. And then we had to walk another 20 minutes before we could get a Grab. It was a long walk. About 24,000, 24,000 steps. There's around 11 miles of walking. That's a lot. It was a lot. A long day. The legs are pretty tired. We would have went out and explored the streets, but like we said, they didn't really look that popping. Everybody was just, everybody in this area just seems to go to the club. Overall, I think it's cool that we experienced it, but, uh, I don't know if we'll go to another festival. No, I don't think unless something drastically changes and we know about it. I don't think we'll be going to Calog next year. I'm sure there's plenty of people that enjoyed it, possibly, but just not our type of thing. We like to be, I don't know how you describe. We just like to explore. So just sitting in the same area. And it wasn't really walkable. You couldn't go explore anywhere cuz there's so many people. And everybody was so confused. Everyone, every single person we asked had no clue what was going on. We got some messages, uh, on like comments on our Green Hills video and Insta DMs and stuff telling us all different info that they knew. And yeah, it was just all over the place. Whoever set it up, it seems some people were complaining that it's too corporate now, whereas before it wasn't like that. We saw on Twitter. So maybe that had something to do with it. They really tried to make everything exactly how they wanted. And it did not work. Possible. The rains recently affected the setup and everything. But yeah, they definitely could have, uh, done something about that. That was the festival. That was the day. And we, our honest thoughts on the festival. These are our honest thoughts. If you see people that are going to act like it was flawless and they're going to act like it was the greatest thing ever and it was flawless and nothing bad happened, it was a confusing mess. It really was. I'll say there was a lot of other vloggers we saw there about the time we got there, which is 9 to 10:00 a.m. Maybe some of them got there. So if they got there at that time, they would have, there was no events until 4:00 p.m. So they would have had to wait 6 hours as well, unless if they left and came back somehow. So if they were saying it's flawless, I don't know if that's true. We're going to continue our Sabu trip after our Vietnam Series that we're going to start posting next for our next video. So hopefully you guys enjoy, um, that. It's a very wild ride. Definitely a little bit different from stuff you're used to seeing. And we're going to do a taste test. Are you ready? It's like I have a 100 of those in my mouth. Epic. It tastes good though. It, you like lip. I'm loving it. More chocolatey peanut M&M's. It's reallyy. Honey butter. What the heck? They're salty. Not honey or buttery. Thought it'd be like those Korean ones. Or they're just straight up honey. Woah. They're good. I was not expecting that flavor. Still chewing. Yay. Jeez.
