Friends, imagine that you have only 10% of the time and resources from what you planned when launching a product. What will you do first? Most people will say: "Well, I'll tackle new features, upgrade the product, or launch a new product." But do you know what American entrepreneurs and experts do? They first solve one specific problem. And it is this, not the number of ideas, that makes their businesses profitable and sustainable. Today, in this video, I want to tell you how this principle works and how it helped me launch my projects. My name is Maria Grinyova. I've been in marketing for 12 years. I received an American talent visa as a marketer. And, actually, I work in the American market. On my channel, I share tips on American marketing, which you can use both in your local market and, naturally, in the American one. Therefore, if you are an expert or an entrepreneur, subscribe to my channel, give it likes, don't forget to go to Telegram, there is even more practical information there. And let's go. [music] So, friends, today I want to break down with you a principle that in America is considered fundamental for any entrepreneur and expert. And here's the trick. It's so simple that it's often neglected. I believe this is a mistake, because most businesses drown in a flood of ideas and opportunities. We need to launch a new product. Let's open another direction. Oh, and we were offered such a cool collaboration. But if you look at the statistics, those who grow and survive do the opposite. They first solve problems, and only then chase new opportunities. Why, you ask? Because resources are time, money, and attention. They are always limited. And if you spread yourself thin, focus is lost. In America, this is called the problem-first approach. In the States, this approach grew out of two environments: consulting and startup culture. In consulting, for example, at McKinsey, everything starts with problem definition. They never start a project with a solution. First, they ask the question: what is the root cause? In startups, it's similar, there's a cult of hypotheses and tests. An entrepreneur puts forward a hypothesis, tests it with a minimal amount of resources, and draws conclusions. This is similar to the scientific method, where we first state a hypothesis, conduct an experiment, analyze, and draw a conclusion. Let's break it down in more detail and focus on this structure. Step one. You need to define the problem or goal. Not abstractly, but concretely. We have poor sales. That's too vague. We lose 15% of customers at the payment stage. And this is already a focal point. In America, they use customer journey maps and funnels for this, where they visually mark where people drop off. By the way, I can help you build a customer journey map during an individual consultation. Write to me on Telegram, the link is below this video. Step two is formulating solution hypotheses. What do you propose to do to eliminate this problem? For example, simplify the payment form and add Apple Pay. An important point is that a hypothesis must be testable, not just abstract. Step three is implementing this plan without endless meetings. In America, they love the expression "done is better than perfect." Implement, test, even if it's in a raw form. The next step is to evaluate the result. It worked, great, let's scale. It didn't work, excellent, now we know that this path doesn't work, and we try another. Let's take an example. For instance, a startup in San Francisco spent 6 months working on new features, ignoring the main bug. The application, well, crashed during payment. When they focused on the bug, narrowed the bottleneck, they got 30% of users back in a month. This is the power of the problem-first approach. That is, first fix what's hindering, and then improve everything else. When you launch your first product, you'll be tempted to do everything at once: a website, a blog, YouTube, and Instagram. But, guys, it's worth focusing on one problem. How to get a stable 10-15 leads per week? Solve this issue with a funnel and only then add everything else. This will give you results many times faster. In America, they believe that entrepreneurs focused on solving a specific market pain build more sustainable companies. Motivation is stronger, endurance is greater, and opportunities will still come, because they are always and everywhere. If you want to delve deeper into such strategies, there is a link to my chatbot in the description below this video. There I share free methods and tips on American marketing. And my program System First has already started, which operates precisely according to the American marketing methodology. And the first module will help you create a constant flow of incoming leads. All details are already in my Telegram channel. Don't chase every idea. First, close a real problem. Work on the cycle: define, hypothesize, implement, test. Don't be afraid of mistakes. In America, they are seen as experience. Entrepreneurship and expertise are always a choice of where to direct limited resources. And believe me, friends, the right choice is to focus on what is truly hindering your growth. Remember, problems are not enemies, they are beacons that show where to direct energy. Thank you for your attention. Write your comments and subscribe to my channel. This was Maria Grinyova. And see you soon. Bye-bye. [music]
