Are you a business owner, salesperson, copywriter, or marketer? And you have been struggling to make those sales for years, months, weeks, days? Here is a quick review on the book titled "Product Launch Blueprint" by Jeff Walker.
In this video, I'm going to show you a quick review on everything this book has to say. Probably you don't have time to go through the book to read it, or you have gone through the book and you have been having a challenge in understanding what the book is all about. Then here is a quick review for you to understand what this book is all about and what this book entails.
Before I go further, do me a favor: like, subscribe, turn on your notification bell, and share to as many people you can reach out to so that they will also benefit from what you are benefitting from this channel. Thank you so much. My name is For Benjamin, the copywriter you ever listen to.
So, um, a quick point here: some might be asking, since this is a product launch blueprint, "I have no need watching this video," or "I have no need listening to you." Product launch blueprint is not just for people who want to launch their new product. No, for as long as you are in the marketing space, you are selling something; you need this review, or like, say you need an explanation on what this book is talking about.
So, with a little um time, I've gone through the book and also looked into things. I found out that "Product Launch Blueprint" is a book that has worked, proven to work, and it's working. So if you're ready to watch or to get the insight I'm about to share in this video, do me a favor: get a pen and a journal, turn off every distraction so that you'll be able to focus and get every detail I'm about to share. So let's get started. Here is the book I'll be using, the book I'll be using, and I'll be breaking down every detail in this book, breaking down every detail. Now, this is a book, the "Product Launch Blueprint," created by Jeff Walker. This is the channel; this is their website. You can go to their website and also learn one or two.
Now, let me read; I'll be reading everything here in detail before I explain. Now, I know you want to, I know you want to just get going and blast into this blueprint right now, but you will get way more out of it if you watch the "Product Launch Blueprint" video that goes along with it. There's a ton of details in this video that I couldn't fit in in this document. Go check out the video now.
Now, let me tell you something about this. Um, this is like a form of um hook, or an intrigue to get you into the video. Now, if you, if you have watched my video on how to script a video sales letter, now I can use this part as my video sales letter and get people to go and watch a video. I use this as my heading in my video sales letter to get people to go and watch my video. Same thing applicable to other sales letters you're about to write. So let's continue. We're not going to watch it now. Yeah, welcome to my blueprint, my product launch formula blueprint. What I have done in this blueprint PDF is broken down the essence of what the product launch formula is, so you could see it in just a few pages. This is my working mind map of the entire process; it's crazy, it's pretty crazy. When I first created this technique, I never could have dreamed that one day I will be sitting teaching it to thousands of entrepreneurs in all kinds of different businesses.
Now, when Jeff Walker um understood this uh concept, now he was test running it, and after test running it, he discovered some of these uh techniques or these formulas he has been using that have worked for him. So that is what he is about to share with us in this um document. Now you move for. I say I was just walking away in my little one-person home-based business in a tiny little niche market. Since I had no marketing or sales experience, I just did things my way and I figured out that everyone else must be doing the same thing I was doing. Later did I know that the results I was getting, the way I was getting, were way beyond normal, and the stuff I was doing would one day become known as the product launch formula, and one day it could literally change the way stuff was sold on the internet. Fast forward to today, and it's shocking, but since I started launching product launch formula way back in 2005, my students and clients have done more than $400,000, $400 million in product launches—that is $400 freaking million.
Now, what um, Jeff, what I was trying to um explain in this document is that um, it came into the space without, it came with zero knowledge on marketing and sales. No one was there to give him um a blueprint to follow, so he had to figure everything himself. Same thing you might have been, you might have been in the same space. Either you're a salesperson, marketer, copywriter, ghostwriter, search person, marketer, business owner—whatever business you do, for as long as it involves selling, the same way you came without no knowledge, was the same way Jeff came without no knowledge, but he was able to figure out this secret himself. So instead of you trying to do those things and to figure out what works, now this is a good uh platform to get the right thing and the exact thing Jeff Walker is trying to say, and what he has tested for you to follow—this blueprint and ease your those times, those years of rigorous research on what works or what has worked.
Now let's move further to the next page. Now, this is just like um, this is like a self-page, this like a self-page of Jeff Walker, where I self-page. Now let's move in. In any case, I still can't believe this all started from my homemade text that was jammed into the corner of the baby changing room, and it's been really cool watching my students do those launches in almost every market you think of, including a bunch of markets that I had never even heard of. I am talking about everything from handwriting analysis to tax preparation to Pinterest to how to write a novel to horse ballet to housing cows, EMB to marching bands, ancestries to coaching youth soccer to soccer to business coaching in Poland, and on and on and on. I never would have imagined that people would be using my stuff all over the world, from Europe and the UK to Asia to Africa to South and to Central America, and of course in Australia and New Zealand, and obviously in the US, Canada, and Mexico. The funny thing is that when I started out, I knew it worked for online subscriptions and product information products, because that was, that's what I used it for in my tiny little niche business, but soon after I started teaching product launch formula, I realized that my students were using PLF, which is the product launch formula, for all kinds of products: informational products, physical products, books, online, offline coaching, e-commerce, membership sites, online sites, offline services, and physical widgets. It even been used by a youth minister who was trying to get more people to attend her classes, and one PLF owner actually used it to sell high-CRM systems to Fortune 500 companies.
Now let me give a quick um explanation to what happened here. Now when um Jeff Walker brought out this formula, he shared it with his students. Obviously, when he started um, he was using the information or the formula just for online subscriptions and information products. Now when I mean information products, like like um books, let's say PDFs, PDFs or contents that inform someone about a product or inform someone about a skill. So this is what Jeff Walker was using the blueprint to discover initially to be doing. He never knew that some of these formulas he has discovered could work in other niches. So when he thought, when he began teaching students, teaching people how to use this formula, now those students started implementing the same formula in other business fields or in other niches, and it was playing out 100% of the time positively. So when Jeff Walker discovered that it was playing out just uh beyond just the information uh field he was working in, other fields, so he had to bring it in a model now that will fit in every other field, you're about to go into, every other niche you're about to go into. So and this product has worked for so many people in different countries: in Europe, in the UK, in Asia, in New Zealand, Australia, Mexico, Canada. So it has worked for several people. So let's continue on.
Who could have imagined? It's been a wild ride, and I have been very blessed to be able to share my work with so many amazing entrepreneurs. I love doing this stuff, and I love helping entrepreneurs start and grow their businesses, and I especially love it when people are able to start a business and quit their jobs. Those are the all-time favorite emails I receive. Now this plan is understandable. In any case, let's keep getting rolling, but first a warning: on the next page you will see the very big picture of the product launch blueprint. We actually had to shrink it way down to fit it all on one page. In fact, we had to shrink it so much that you are not going to be able to read much of it. We just did that so you could truly get the big picture, but don't worry, as you go through the rest of the blueprint you'll be able to see all the details.
Now let me explain something here—that is the essence, why that is the main reason why you should um be listening to this uh book review I'm about to, I'm doing now, because some of the details were not given out. So based on my experience and my research as a sales copywriter, I was able to dig down to understand what Jeff Walker was saying and also show you how to apply it in your business. So let's get started. Now this is just like, this is a mind map; it's a mind map, so I'll be using the mind map to explain everything in detail. Now this is a blueprint. Let me just go back. Okay, the big picture strategy. Now let me say something: strategy. Now for you to implement anything, it's just like you trying to build a house. You can't start building a house without having a plan. You must have a plan. What's your source of income? Um, what income are you allocating for this building? Now if you have allocated uh certain proportion of income to the building project, okay, in the building project that people work on the building, you need to get materials for the building. So what strategy are you using to ensure that within a certain period of time this building will be actualized? Same thing in your business as well, as an entrepreneur, a business owner—whatever thing you do, for as long as you are selling, you need a strategy. This is what Jeff is trying to say here now. So I'm going to be explaining this strategy one after the other. Now the first is list building on steroids, on steroids. Now, best way to build a list project. Now when we talk about list, list simply means your clients, or let's say um your avatars. You need to have a list of people you are about to sell to. You can't just come into the space and you want to sell to everyone. It's not possible. Let's let's imagine you are selling um a health, or let's say a fitness program. Not everyone needs a fitness program, a body fitness program. Not everybody needs a body fitness program. Now probably the people you are trying to sell to might be in need of um a relationship program, and you are there trying to sell them a fitness program. They won't buy that uh program or that product. Same way you need to build a list. Now I'm not talking about you doing your avatar research here now, but I'm talking about you having a list of people you want to reach out to.
Now the second thing is, when you have gotten this list, I'll just be explaining as I read down: building a great relationship with your list. Now it's just like coming into a new environment; you don't expect everyone to like you. It's not possible. You don't expect everyone to like you; you don't expect anyone to like yourself when you come in. Everyone sees you as a stranger; you are new to them. So you need to build a relationship with this um list you have built. It could be an email; it could be the phone contact; it could be any of the information you have: their Gmail, U um address, or their Yahoo address, your Outlook address—any of the addresses you have is the list you have; their contact details, their names—that is the list you have. Now you need to build a relationship with this list you have. And now when that means building a relationship with this list you have now, um this book by um Ros.com, Secret—now you're talking about the seven um relationship-building strategies you can, you can learn how to. I uh uh, if you want me to create a video on those strategies, I'm going to just drop a comment um in the comment section below, and I will see to it. If I should see the number of people need me to create that video, I'm going to create a video for you guys. Now you need to build a relationship, and building a relationship is not something of one day. That's I see some, some people um after one week of trying to build a relationship with their with their list, they find out that they're not responding; the list are not responding. There is no um, there's no interaction in between them and their list or they are avatars. So because of that, they feel so tired and discouraged and forget about that list. But let me tell you something: list building or list um relationship building takes time. It takes you time to build a good relationship with your list.
Now the next thing is creating raving fans. Now I'm going to explain this: I'm building a crushing offer. Now when you are building a list, you don't just start selling to them instantly. Imagine you came to me and say, um, I want to um, I have a fitness program, sometimes you need to make it free for me. Do you know, do you know one thing, do you know one thing, the that thing called free, what it does to uh the psychology of men or the psychology of people is that when they hear the word free, they would like to test it, even if they don't have the time, but because it is free, they would like to engage. So when they are engaging your free content and they discover that if this person could be given a free content that is worth this uh value, then they should go in for the main content. Now you need to, what, build this crushing offer. Now that's what we call offer ladder, or we call you call it um, we like call it, you call it your value ladder, now where you use your offers or your freebies to get people into your list or to get people to love your product or to love you in person. But the truth is that as a salesperson, don't expect um, don't expect people to like you. Yes, don't expect people to like you; they should just like your product, or they should not like it, but don't expect people to like you. They can't like you; it's just either they're liking your product or they're liking you. So when people hate you as a business owner, don't be offended; they don't hate you, they hate your product. So you just need to build this crushing offer.
Now the next thing is identifying deadly effective sales hooks. Now we sometimes, when you want to, this aspect has to do with um sales pages. Now if you have not watched a video where I dwell on how to write a high-converting video sales letter, you can also go and watch it; it's in the playlist below. Now you can also go and watch it, watch it. Now when I'm talking about um, when Jeff Walker is talking about identifying deadly effective sales hooks. Now when you are trying to sell to people, have you ever seen, why do you, why do you, why do you ask, have you ever questioned yourself why you keep um going through the social media handle, and all of a sudden you are hooked or you are being pulled by a content? Now that's what we call the sales hook. You must understand how to hook people, how to get to capture the attention of people. Now this could probably be done through your headline. Let me tell you the true fact: there are certain times whereby you have to test run headlines like 10 times to get the best headline that will hook people or capture their attention to your product. When you are not capturing their attention to your product, then you end up not selling that product. So you need to work on your sales hook.
Now the next thing is massive positioning power. Now massive positioning power. Now what does it mean? Now sometimes, do you know, sometimes putting a plain picture or a plain background does not really attract people. Now let's say for instance I'm trying to sell a product, and I use Donald Trump's picture there. Now remember, if you're using people's pictures, it should be based on collaboration or agreement. Don't just use their picture or their images because you want to use them. No, ensure that these people gave you the license to use their picture, and if possible they should have the post in their own timeline as well to prove that you had the authorization from them to do what you are doing. Now imagine I, I'm trying to sell a product, let's say I'm trying to sell a real estate product. I thank God you know that Donald Trump is into real estate, and I'm trying to sell a real estate product, and I picture in Donald Trump as the authority there, or the leader, or would I call it, they will call it—that's what we call in marketing the attractive character. Now the attractive character is the person that is being laid out in your sales pitch. Now if I have Donald Trump in the image whereby I have my product upsold, now people will easily go to click that image because the person in that image or the person in that pitch is someone who is known, recognized, who has authority, based and is an expert in the field, so they have every tendency to click on that particular um pitch or that sales pitch or that sales speech.
Now the next thing is product launch parachute. Now this is um about 80% of this strategy, 80%, and it works. Now when, what he is talking about is, sometimes it's just like um this 80/20 rule. Now sometimes the 80% result you achieve in sales is based on your 20% um effort or what you put in place. Now if you are putting more of, looking for the relevant things, the important criteria to put in place, which makes the 20% to make the 80% of your business keep running, this is Jeff Walker is trying to explain to you: look for the best thing that works. Now let me give a very good um advice: if you are into, let's say you're into affiliate marketing, um I think affiliate marketers should hear this. If you're into affiliate marketing, I don't see the need selling affiliate products. Imagine you are selling, you're an affiliate marketer, and you are selling me affiliate marketing courses. That means you don't have results; that is the mistake most affiliate marketers make. I'm an affiliate marketer, and what I say is, affiliate marketing products or affiliate marketing courses, I don't expect people to rush in to buy those products because it makes no sense, because it's as though what you are doing has no result. So the result you're trying to show them is that um they need to also buy for you to gain. But when you pick a different product, when you pick a different product, let's say for instance you have um a product on um, let's say you have a product on, on let's say sales pages. You're a marketer, but you want to sell a product on sales pages; it might not necessarily be your product; it might be someone's product. The true fact is, if you're into this sales um online sales marketing or online sales and marketing, um it's very easy to sell products, even products that are not yours. Those who have the product don't sell as much as you yourself who um, it's just a salesperson is doing, because you are there; you have all the techniques, the strategy needed to sell that product. The product um owner might not have an idea on how to sell those products; the only thing is, they made the product, have someone edit it, and you, you sell it. Now if you're an affiliate marketer, don't just go on there to sell that affiliate product; get other products to sell.
Now this is a review though, this is a review on "Product Launch Blueprint" by Jeff Walker, but I'm going to be, I'm going to try my best to drop a video on how to launch a new product. Be you a salesperson, marketer, business owner, copywriter, be you um a trainer, whatever course or whatever business you are doing, you want to launch a new product, be it an online course, an offline course, or an online business, an offline business. I'm going to drop that video; that video is going to give you a quick guideline on how to launch every product. There are six, we have different um types of launches; we have the evergreen, the pre-launch, the new launch—it all depends on what kind of launch you are going into, but in the video you will have a quick understanding, on a clear understanding, on how to launch those products. So let's get going. So now, no single point of failure.
Now let me tell you the true fact: um, if you're coming to the online space, there's every tendency you lose money. Yes, um most people, let's say after running the first ad, you make no sales. Let's use for instance Facebook ads; this is what I do, so I'm not going to use other things I don't do, so I'm using practical things I do. Now I know little of um AdSense, that is Google ads, but majorly I'm into Facebook ads, also combined with my sales, my sales copywriting skills. Now in Facebook, let's say you, you send out your first um Facebook ad, and you make no sale from it, it's not a point to be discouraged. Yes, money was gone. I think in a day what you spend on Facebook is, I think in every one of your ad campaigns in a day on Facebook is 2,000 Naira. So imagine you spent—that is Nigerian 2,000—then if you are in the US that should be around $1 something dollars per day. Now let's say you, you make the first uh, you push the first um, you push the first ad, no sale came in, or no one was willing to come into your list or to subscribe to your list. Don't be discouraged; that's why I say no single point of failure. You, you should have it in mind that there is a point whereby things might fail, but you yourself should not fail, because things might not be working, but you yourself should be working, because the more consistently you don't give up, the more you keep getting the right result. Now when you send the first ad, nothing works. Now run tests; that's what we call A/B testing. Now if you don't know how to do A/B testing, um um don't worry, I will create that as well, but that's what we call A/B testing. A/B testing is like making use of two things, bringing the first headline. Most, most times it's headlines; most times it's headlines. The truth is that you can have a good, a wonderful sales um sales page or sales copy, but if the headline is not that um intriguing or that eye-catching, people might not be pushed or moved to pause for the moment to read that content. And it's beyond just getting them through, you know, what we call um attention and retention. When you grab the attention, you need to retain those attentions, so your copy needs to retain them to keep reading. That's is why you need to, when you're writing your sales copy, you need to involve open loops when writing your sales copy so that you'll be able to carry them along and also engage them in the conversation. So this is um all about what we're talking about: no single point of failure. Then we have launch taking. Now launch taking, this has to do with uh building momentum.
And sales from launch to lunch now sometimes, um, launch might not be done. I think the if you want to launch a product, I think the minimum is 3 months, the minimum 3 months, um, to really engage your your list. 3 months, sometimes one month as well. It all depends on what you are trying to launch, depending on the kind of product.
Now, if you have a product you want to launch and you are finding it difficult to launch that product or how to go about launching that product, then um, just send um, launch or type launch on the comment section. I will send a link to my um, my WhatsApp, then where you just um, contact me and I will show you how to launch that product. I'll just give you a quick guide on how to launch that particular product.
So now, this aspect of launch, talking about building momentum and sales from from launch to launch, sometimes um, you might be having your launch or launching your product in sequence. Now, if you are launching at once, let me tell you the true fact: don't launch your product at once. If you're launching your product at once, sometimes you might lose the momentum; sometimes you might also lose that sales that is coming in. Because once people have seen that product all at once, they they will not like to go for more because they already just like you selling off your entire idea to people. That means they have nothing to come back to drink from, or giving out all you have, all you have gained to people. Let me tell you, too far. Even Jeff Walker, who wrote this book, did not give you the detail of everything he has learned. He only brings out what he feels like bringing out. There's no one who wants his product to keep selling that will ever bring a detail of that product to you. No, it's step by step, because that's what we call a Value ladder. Now, it's it's just like your value ladder, bringing people into your s fun.
Now, um, say will expl just like a system whereby you'll be able to close sales, be it low ticket sales, high ticket sales, depending on the kind of sales you're trying to make. Now, um, we have the value ladder. Now, your value ladder, there's a way you build your value ladder. Now, we have the front end and we have the back end offer. Now, your front end offer could be the point whereby your product launch could be at that point to grab them, using your B to bring them into the offer, the first, the front end offer. Now, through that front end offer, now those leads that are able to be sustained, you set them through the back end as well. So don't worry, um, all the things will be explained in detail as we go further.
So I think this is the point. I don't want this video to be that lengthy, so I'll be explaining other parts. I think we're in the seventh page; it's one, we have 22 pages of this book, so I'm on the second page. So every, I would ensure that this um, book review uh, does not take much time, so that you'll be able to grab everything you need in detail. So see you in the next video where I'll be explaining part one of this. This video has been helpful. Uh, do me a favor to click the like button, subscribe, and also share to as many um, social media platforms as possible. As you can see you in the next video. Thank you.
