Teddy Swims - Heal The Scars I Don’t Let Anyone See (Powerful Worship Song)

Modern Tunes7:56

Transcription

[Music] I know some of you walked in here carrying burdens nobody else can see. Some of you are smiling on the outside but bleeding on the inside. Some of you have scars you've never dared to speak of. Scars from shame. Scars from trauma. Scars from battles with addiction, sickness, or heartbreak.

But hear me, you are not forgotten. The same Jesus who touched the leper, who raised Lazarus from the grave, who restored Peter after his failure, he is here tonight. And he is not afraid of your scars. He is the healer of wounds, both seen and unseen.

[Music] There's a man who lost his family to the bottle. Says, "I never meant to hurt the ones I love." Now he hides behind a laugh at the table. But the shame keeps on shouting, "You're not enough." Yet I think of the prodigal son in the distance, hungry, broken, covered in dust. But the father ran with arms wide open, whispered, "You were lost, but still you're mine. Come home and trust Jesus."

>> Jesus, >> heal the scars. I can't show anyone. >> Heal me, Lord. >> Homes in the dark. The battle I can outrun. >> Heal me, Lord. >> Jesus. >> Jesus. >> Heal the scars. I can't show anyone. >> Heal me, Lord.

There's a mother who buried her only child. She prays at night, but heaven feels silent. She walks through church with a broken smile, asking, "Where were you, Lord, when I was crying?" But I remember Mary weeping at the tomb. When hope seemed gone, love sealed away. Then Jesus called her name in the garden. Mary and joy came back that day. Listen, when it feels like death has the last word, remember our savior is the resurrection and the life. He still calls names in the

Jesus. >> Jesus, >> heal the scars. I can't show anyone. >> Heal me, Lord. The scars of the past, the pain I can outrun. >> Jesus, >> heal the scars I can't show anyone. >> Heal me, Lord.

There's a girl with memories she won't tell. Shadows of trauma no one can see. She whispers, "If God really knew me, he turned away. He couldn't love me." But I remember the woman at the well. Five husbands gone, her heart torn apart. Yet Jesus sat down right in her shame and gave her living water, a brand new start.

[Music] Your scars don't make you unworthy, they make you a candidate for grace.

[Applause] Heal the scars I can't show anyone. >> Heal me, Lord. >> Touch the deep places, the wounds that hide from the sun. >> Heal me, Lord. >> Jesus, >> Jesus. >> Heal the scars I can't show anyone. Heal me Lord.
