Teal Swan selling victimhood disguised as female empowerment.

Grew up underneath a self-sacrificing mother will tell you the hell of that condition. I've never heard that from a patient. My mother was present too much. So that you grew up with somebody who was resentful. You grew up with somebody who dreamed of something else and was essentially coping with her life.

The problem is that the mom's resentful. The problem isn't that she's a stay-at-home mom. It's because feminists have told her that that isn't enough. Like Betty Friedan who said in 1963 already that housewifery is a comfortable concentration camp. And because of that, even though she may have been there all day, every day doing things, they turn themselves off. They pull their navigation system off of their own North Star. I can't even.

The most annoying thing is that these teal swans and her ilk, they aren't even coming up with anything original. They're just taking from what feminists have always written. Just now they're cloaking it in this sort of pseudo-spiritual language like North Star and your North. What the heck? They don't do things which fill up their own energy centers. You need to fill your energy center? Go for a run while the kids nap. Raise kids that you like, that can go and play while you do something else. It's like they're perpetually giving, yet they have nothing to give. It's a state of walking death. Walking death? Walking death?

So then all of a sudden, because they base their entire life around their children and their children's needs and where they needed to be driven to and blah blah blah, it's like the the children reach a phase where they're going off into society as adults and and mom doesn't know what to do. Oh my gosh, who am I? I don't even know who I am anymore. I don't even know what my life is about anymore. I don't even know what I like. My entire existence has revolved around these children.

The only way you get that mother that she describes, who doesn't know who she is and what am I going to do now and what do I even like, that's a mother who always saw herself as a victim. That is a woman who always thought, "Oh my god, what about me and why do I have to?" That has nothing to do with motherhood or housewifery, or domestic chores, or what sort of husband you have. It is a mentality that you carry with you, and no matter which phase in life you're going through, you will find some way to blame men and societal norms for your struggles. And not only that, we have taught the little kids in the family, most especially the girls, we have taught them to do the very same thing. So, it's just rinse, repeat, rinse, repeat. thing we're rinsing and repeating are these feminist lies. It's only because of poisonous influencers like her, who make sure to spread that pathogen of resentment, indoctrinating the next generation in the same resentment.
