726. I'm Lynette Romero. Breaking news right now in Garden Grove. Firefighters have been working around the clock, trying to gauge the pressure levels in the tanks to see if the threat of an explosion has been eliminated. NBC 4's John Cadiz Klemack is live at the command post at Los Alamitos racetrack in Cypress.
So John, we are just getting a response from the White House about this now. Yeah, we just heard from a White House spokesperson saying that the president is aware of what's going on. He's engaged with what's going on. They say that the EPA has been here with the local unified Command, and that they have a FEMA representative on site as well. We haven't heard, though, is whether or not they're going to issue an emergency declaration like Governor Newsom had requested from the president.
I want to point out some video from News Chopper 4 to show you what they were working on last night. This was an all night operation. About 12 firefighters actually went up close and personal with this tank that we've been talking about, what they want to see, what the pressure is in there and how it's building or not building. We also know the temperature inside 100 degrees. We know that because there's a gauge that that's there, it only goes up to 100 degrees. So it is it is possible that is now higher than that, but we can't confirm the actual temperature inside right now. They were able to neutralize we understand one of the three tanks that's holding this this chemical inside. So that is also good news. The question today is whether or not the pressure
