What does it mean to be saved? Like the Christians say, "Oh, we're saved." But what does that actually mean to the Jewish ear? You know what I mean? What does that mean to you when you hear that from non-Jewish people saying, "I'm saved by this Jewish Messiah."
I'm happy to hear we have everything that we need. Okay, I came to the world with everything that I need to do everything. I don't need anyone that will teach me how to do stuff. Okay, I can do collaboration with people, but in the end of the day, I have everything in me, but I need to believe in myself. After you believe in yourself, you have the um confidence, you saved yourself in the end of the day.

You are a very passionate collector. It's it's kind of a cool topic for Netflix, but we'll get into that a little bit later. You have a great story and but before we get into, I want to ask you an interesting question. You're here in my studio, so uh um I want to ask you the question. You know, you grew up in Israel.
Yes.
I was born in the US and I moved to Israel when I was 2 years old. So,
Okay.
Yeah.
Technically speaking,
Israel.
Israeli all the way.
Uh, what what did you learn about Jesus?
Okay. So, what I learned about Jesus, first of all, I didn't learn anything about him in school and stuff like that. In the end of the day, I heard Jesus is the one that the Christian people worship to. Okay? He's not from my side.

There is people that like him, people that do not like him. I believe that his existed was he has a purpose. Okay. Everyone that come to the world has a purpose. And to be so famous like Jesus, I think he's one of the most famous people in the world.
Yeah.
For the last 2,000 years. Very famous, you know, before social media, before everything, you know,
Most famous Jew in the world.
Most to ear. And uh he has a purpose.
Yeah.
He has an idea.
Mhm.
I don't know what his purpose. I don't know what his idea.
Yeah.
Okay. I believe that the people that believe in Jesus need to be in our side. Okay. In the side of the Jewish people in the end of the day.
I believe the Jewish people are very important group in the world. Jesus was Jewish.
Yeah.
Okay. He needs to we need to support the same idea together.
And we believe in life. We don't believe in death. And I don't know anything about Jesus more than that. I know that he was killed. I know he was he walked on the water in in the kinet.
Yeah.
Yeah. Sea of Galilee.
Yeah. Where did you learn those things?
From the world in the end of the day, not from specific book or a specific person. I combine thing that I believe that are the true.
Yeah.
Well, that brings me to a question that I have. So if Jesus came here for a specific purpose,

Do you have any idea what that purpose might have been and who he maybe who who did he come for?
Okay. I believe in the end of the day, I believe that's what uh the Christianity say that he came to save us, the people of the world.
That he's like he's part of the divine or something like that.
Okay.
I don't want to say something bigger than that. Say what you know.
And he was a leader. But what was the purpose of his leadership? This is something that I'm not sure about.
Okay. Interesting. Um are you familiar with the Tanakh?
Of course.
Yeah. Nice.
Old testimony.
Yeah.
For for for in English.
Yeah.
Or the first testimon test T testament um Tanakh Hebrew scriptures, whatever you want to call them. Um, did you know there's a passage in the Tanakh where God calls the people of Israel lost sheep because their leaders led them astray?
Makes sense.
Now, in the book of Mati, which is in the New Testament, Jesus says, "I have come for the lost sheep of Israel." Now, when we opened, you said that Jesus is for the Christians and not for the Jews.
Okay.
Um, but he specifically said he came for the Jewish people.
Interesting. And so, and that being said, how does that make you feel as a Jewish person knowing that he actually came for us and fulfills the promises of the Tanakh that says that the Messiah will redeem us,
Can.
Save us, but not just us, the world. How does that make you feel as a Jewish as a Jewish man?
To be honest, I don't feel saved yet. Okay. I feel that the world is in
In turmoil.
Yeah. A lot of crisises and the the more that we the the years are passed we have more issues we can call it you know we have I believe that we are in a junction that the world need to choose
Where to go.
And in the end it's good against evil.
It's what movies are made of.
Yeah. But but you know every movie has a a little bit of true somewhere that they took
The idea from.
You know, I was watching this morning um I I went to the American embassy renewing my renewing my my 5-year-old.
And so while we're waiting to pay the cashier, uh my son's watching on television, right? The Smurfs.
Right?
Interesting.
How do they say that in Hebrew?
Yeah.
And what I noticed was there's an evil person trying to kill them. And I thought, why are children's cartoons
Yeah.
Showing somebody bad trying to kill these cute little blue things.
Yeah. Why do they have to have that element in it?
And I realized I've realized this before that that these shows and movies and cartoons, they all have some sort of uh narrative.
Yes.
That represents reality. And the reality that comes from Tanakh basically says that God is good and he created humanity so that we can be in a loving relationship together because you can't have love if there's not someone to share it with.
This is before Adam and Eve, you know, before they did all the
The stuff.
Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Right. And so you you by giving the the human humanity a free will to choose love,
To choose God or to choose your own
To make yourself king basically.
Um, that's when good and evil conflict
With each other. And so, um, it's almost like the the shows and the movies and and these cartoons are a a way of showing us the reality of life. But not just that that there are messages in the Bible that are based on reality and that the stories are based on uh this narrative that our Jewish people grew up learning about about how God created man and woman and women and man and woman sinned and they fell away from God and they broke their covenant, their relationship. But God loves so much that he was trying to always bring us back and he had in plan a way to bring us back into a right relationship with him. And you mentioned which was very uh bright I think that I don't feel saved. You have to first understand well do I need saving? Is that something that's even within my own conscious thought? What does it mean to be saved? Like the Christians say, "Oh, we're saved." But what does that actually mean to the Jewish ear? You know what I What does that mean to you when you hear that from non-Jewish people saying, "I'm saved by this Jewish Messiah."
I'm happy to hear.
I'm happy to hear that someone saved you. This is first thing. And
But do you know what? But what what I mean by that saved from what? Like what?
Same from what?
Yeah. From from the survival of the of the of the of the world that we living in for example. Um, I believe that the more you get into your consciousness and you understand more things you can control your life easier. Okay. In the end of the day I believe that in every one of us has the this how you call divine spark.
Divine spark.
Okay. Because God said he he made us
In his image.
In his image. Okay. And
We have everything that we need. Okay. I came to the world with everything that I need to do everything. I don't need anyone that will teach me how to do stuff. Okay, I can do collaboration with people, but in the end of the day, I have everything in me, but I need to believe in myself. After you believe in yourself, you have the um confidence. You saved yourself in the end of the day.
From what?
From from what? It's a good question.
Yeah. Well, that's that's the idea because it sounds weird, you know? I mean, I've been saved. Well, from what you know and and can someone who is drowning
With nobody there to help them be saved
By themselves?
No. They have they have to to have someone that try help them.
And so I So as we think of like life in its normal context, if I if I'm drowning and someone pulls me out, I was saved from death.
Still I'm still still going to die though. If you think of a of a cliff, right, and you're walking towards the cliff and you're walking and you're walking and someone pulls you away from the edge of the cliff, you can say that you were saved from falling into by
Your death
By this person, right?
Um, you could also say that that if you're standing on a railroad track, for instance, and a train is coming and you're stuck on the, you know, whatever, you can't get away.
Okay.
And someone comes and pushes you out of the way and they get hit and die. You were saved by somebody's sacrifice.
Okay?
Now, you were saved, but at some point, you're still going to die. So, what the Christian is basically saying is if all good things come from God or the source of life, all good things, and we're separated from that source of life, then we don't have things like love and peace and harmony and justice and joy and uh patience and kindness and goodness, all these things, right? We don't have those things. If we're separated from the source of those things, and if we die separate from the source of those things, then we're off the cliff and we go into a place that is separated from God, which is called hell, eternally. And so, this is what the Bible would call justice.
Okay. Justice meaning you've chosen by your own free will that I've given you to choose a different path,
Okay?
Away from me where you're in charge and you did it your way but I God is saying I have a better life for you and I love you and I want to show you what that life is come to me you know and and and religious Jews would call that but it actually means become religious but what God is saying is I actually want a personal relationship with you I want a personal relationship with you and I want to give you the life that I have designed for you already as long as you're willing to accept it and that's difficult because we want to We want to have control.
Yes.
What a person is saying, "I've been saved from, I've been saved from eternal separation from God, which separates me from all things that are good." And that's scary
To think about. It's also biblical, meaning it's within our own scripture. The Heb the Tanakh talks about uh heaven and hell. And so there's this is these are passages in our own Hebrew scriptures. And then the New Testament, have you ever read the New Testament before?
No.
Um talks about how God uh basically defeats death and how he defeats that. And you seem like a person because you have passionate things you do in your life. You're a collector. Passionate collector for 30 years.
Yeah. Almost.
Yeah. So you started when you were like three, five.
Yes. Very very young.
Yeah. Yeah. Um so we have things that we're passionate about, things that we we love. So anyway, the concept of of being with God and without God because we like life, we have passion for life.
Yes.
And we have joy in life. We find joy. You find joy in collecting.
Yes. And if these things are taken away, we feel pain. We feel grief. We mourn. People that we love are taken away. One of my best friends recently passed away. Heartbreaking, horrible for me. Um, you know, you find out that your one of your parents has terminal cancer, your child has terminal something happens, right? And it disrupts this joy. But God promises us a life without that sorrow any longer. And he gives us the way to do that. And so the reason why we do what we do here is to so that not only people can have the joy and pleasure in this life, but they can realize that there's a life that's waiting for us on God's terms that's beyond our wildest imagination. And that we can have that and we can also be assured of that. And that's found in your heart, but it's also found in scripture.
Good. I used to I used to think, you know, years, 20 years making up my own religion, but it couldn't stand on its own two feet. It just crumbled when the hard questions came in.
Yeah.
And hard life came in and challenges. And then I was completely transformed overnight by putting my trust and my faith in Yeshua. And then I read in scripture that there were certain things that were supposed to happen to me that did and I didn't know they were supposed to happen. So, a miracle happened in my life. And then I went and read about it in scripture. And so I wanted to introduce you to to Jesus because you've heard about him and he said he came for our people but he didn't his message isn't only for the Jewish people. It's for the entire world which is very inclusive. And so I just wanted to ask you what do you think about the concept of Jesus or Yeshua being the Jewish Messiah.
Jewish Messiah is a big word for me.
Yeah. Okay. It's a big responsibility and until I will see and feel and stuff like that. I don't I I will not tell you I believe that there is someone that is the was the Messiah in the past or someone going to be in the future.
Yeah.
Okay. Maybe it's not a man. Maybe it's not someone. Maybe it's an idea.
Okay.
Maybe it's inside of all of us.
Jesus came here to teach the world something. Okay. This is why everyone knows him. This is why he's the most famous person ever lived. Okay? And every person, Jewish, Muslim, Buddha, everyone need to learn something from him.
Yeah.
He came to teach us something.
Messiah is a big word for me. So I don't want to use it.
But I believe he has a purpose and a big purpose.
Imagine a YouTuber that has one billion subscribers. He's more than that.
Yeah. We need to learn from him something. I don't know what, but I believe
I believe we need to learn something from him.
Okay, I can help you with that. Not because I'm good.
Okay.
But because he spoke and his words were recorded. So, I'm going to um offer you this this book right here.
Okay. So, if you if there's something that you want to learn from Yeshua, you can learn about it in the New Testament in the Khadesha. Okay. There are four eyewitness testimonies of his life written down all from four different accounts. And the historicity of this and the the source documents and the amount of manuscripts that we have are evidence that not only was he a real person, but that he actually did actually live, die, and rise again. And so I'm going to offer you this because if you want to learn about what he taught and what he said about himself, you can learn about it in this uh book and I think it's a very compelling book to read. And I think that you should because if you believe in Tanakh, if you believe in the history of our Jewish people, if you believe that there is a a power greater than us that's brilliant, intelligent,
Can.
Uh creative uh can create from nothing, not like we we use created things to create things, then I believe this that you can find out that God has a plan for you. He loves you and he died for you as well so that you could live uh forever and not just enjoy the collections that you do now which I want to talk about but also you could enjoy his presence and those that you love for eternity to all those who believe. So I want to offer this uh to you and you can learn about him and what he said in there.
I will take it I will start to read a little bit in the studio then then I will decide if I will take it with me if it's okay.
