UPVC RESTORATION

This job was very dirty. Windows not been cleaned for a long time. So, the UPVC becomes quite dull and gray.

Um, you can see here when I'm cleaning windows, I always give the window seals a good wipe over anyway. But even on a job where it's um really so dirty, you can only get it so good.

So, I'm just going to show you this um product here. This UPVC restoer from Thompson's. I just got this from a local wholesaler. I'm pretty sure you can probably get it from DIY shops as well or even online. I'm sure you can find it there.

I use these cloths. These are car detailing cloths. Microfiber, but they're sort of a towing type texture. All we do is put a generous amount on the cloth. Work it into the UPVC. Get right into the corners there, and it really brings the UPVC up nice and white.

These are my favorite seal cloths for wiping around the frames and the window seals. I just got loads of these. So you just discard, you know, kind of discard them when you've used them. I always keep two or three on me at one time.

Add a little extra. And we can do the frames as well. Get into the frame there and all those little gaps, the little corners. Really great for getting in all the little nooks and crannies and the grooves around the frame. Really work that in. It doesn't take too much. Um, just a little bit of gentle rubbing there.

Once we've done that, just change the surface to a clean part of the cloth. Give it a good wipe over. Really simple way just to revitalize the UPVC and really makes a big difference. Heat. Heat.

So, I hope you find that helpful.
