Welcome everybody. We got an awesome conversation, especially for all the men out here that want to change their lives while doing the right thing while also doing the right thing. And I'll tell you what I mean by that. Everybody wants to be strong. Everybody wants to increase their testosterone, especially in a world where they're telling us by 2050 testosterone is going to be like zero. Well, at the cost of that, there are so many people taking all these drugs and doing all these things. And there is a cost to that. You may look good, you may feel good in the short term, and then you get to 50, 60 years old and you start paying the price, if not sooner than that. James Benefico is a man who allows us to get to that point without all the expensive costs. And I'm not talking about money. I'm talking about the quality of life over time with your health decreasing for sort of instant gratification in the short term. There are ways to be able to take pre-workout, go to the gym, feel good without destroying the body. There are ways to increase testosterone without taking all these drugs, but using actual herbs and roots. And today we're going to be talking about those ways because James Benefiko created a company called Organic Muscle. The products are available on the light system marketplace. I'm going to be putting the link in the description below to be able to learn about all of this. But before we dive into that, I hope I got your attention. I want to go into you, James, what your background is, what caused all of this, what inspired all of this, then we'll dive into some of the products because they really are pretty awesome.

>> Thank you, brother. Yeah, it's great to see you. It's I'm thrilled to be here with everyone and I had so much fun in Miami last time I saw you. So, thank you for that.

>> Thank you.

>> But my journey, you know, I actually used to be kind of a fat guy. I was I was a glutton. I grew up outside of New York and me and my friends, we just loved eating, eating pizza and, you know, huge sandwiches, drinking beer, all this stuff. And I I got quite heavy and unhealthy.

>> What was your peak weight?

>> Uh 275.

>> Whoa.

>> Yeah. And I'm 207 right now. So

>> Okay. Okay.

>> Yeah. But uh I kind of had a wakeup call when my mom got cancer and that's when I started thinking about oh there's a relationship between food and health. What a concept, right? And being in the hospital with her and they're they're feeding the patients hot dogs and hamburgers and chips and soda and all this stuff. And I just started putting the pieces together that the system was kind of rigged against humanity. It wasn't it wasn't set up for us to thrive and flourish. was set up to kind of keep us plugged in to this medical system.

>> Y

>> So through that process, I ended up losing a lot of weight through fasting, changing my diet and nutrition. And I started this company because when I was getting back in the gym, I would take these conventional preworkouts and feel like my heart was going to explode, feel like I was having a heart attack. I was like, I just want to use a pre-workout that's healthy and organic, plant-based, and that doesn't make me feel like I just smoke crack. I want to feel good.

>> So, I figured it out. I've built a team. We came out with the first ever certified organic pre-workout. And the rest is history.

>> The first ever certified organic pre-workout.

>> The first one ever. Yeah. This is over 10 years ago.

>> Wow. So, you've been doing this for over 10 years now.

>> Yes. What what I mean for the common person that's using this, your common customer, what are they experiencing? What do they report? Meaning the person that's taking your conventional pre-workout today versus tomorrow they're going to go and take it from organic muscle. What are the differences that they're going to feel?

>> Right? So, a conventional preworkout has usually has ungodly amounts of caffeine, usually a synthetic form of caffeine,

>> like 350 milligrams. So, like you're not going to be able to sleep that night, intense jitters, heart palpitations. Um, they'll usually use some not so great sweeteners. Uh, so stomach issues, bloating, and it's it's blowing out your adrenals. So, lots of side effects. You know, why are we going to the gym? We want to look good, but we also want to be healthy. And most pre-work workouts today do not serve that goal. With organic muscle, it's a blend of organic fruits and adaptogens, rodeiola, rosia, beetroot, pomegranate. These are well studied, well-known nitric oxide boosters. So, you're just going to feel, we call it a zen energy. You feel calm, but you'll have amazing stamina in the gym. You'll have that kick to get through your workout. And I hear all the time, best workout I've ever had. Like you just get in the zone, locked in, and you're actually nourishing your body instead of detracting from your overall health and energy.

>> You know, I'll tell you who gave me a call about it. Jared, the president of Light System. He's like, "Dude, you don't understand how incredible these things are." Now, this guy, I mean, you know him. He's 50 years old. He's in the best shape I've ever seen anybody in, ever. and if anybody goes to the gym and you can count on what he says for me it's him. He's like the guy that I'm like okay I'll I'll listen to what you say and he can't stop talking about it. He's like this it's it's incredible. Now I want to ask you started with pre-workout.

>> Now today you have hydration mechanisms in terms of different powders and whatnot. You have

>> brain boosts. You have different herbs. Let's go into those a little bit. what started as pre-workout, how did it end up evolving into all these different product lines as yet?

>> Right. Well, yes, and agreed about Jared. He's an absolute specimen. It's uh it's remarkable and it's very inspiring for all of us. So many people let let go of their health, but you can just look and feel incredible, you know, well into, you know, your 70s, 80s if you eat right, supplement right, and think right. But um so he's an inspiration for organic muscle. We basically adopted the ethos that we were going to take different supplements in the fitness space and just make the healthiest, cleanest vegan versions of all of these different supplements. So hydration supplement, which are usually just a a collection of salts. We took those salts and blended them with organic fruits

>> for kind of a full spectrum. It's a different philosophy or a different outlook on a hydration supplement, but it's got the coconut water and the cherries and the beetroot and some of these other uh ingredients as well for a full spectrum hydration. But yeah, we just took different products. We made uh the cleanest greens on the market, the cleanest reds, the a different perspective on neutropics is our brain boost where a lot of neutropics will again feel you leave you feeling a little bit cracked out or a little fidgety or terrible comedowns and stuff. So, we wanted to make one that's clean where there's no comedown, no crash. It's just nourishing your body with uh the ingredients mother nature provides. You know, I gotta bring this up just because he loves you so much. Dr. Ed Group, that's one of the best compliments in the world because there is

>> not only one of my favorite people, but in ter I've been to his manufacturing plants. I've seen what he does

>> and there is nothing like it. Like most companies, they're like, "Okay, how can we save money?" He's basically like, "How can I spend as much as possible to make this the best possible thing and let's just forget about the margin. Let's just make it as as incredible as possible."

>> And just recently, I was in Brazil with him and we were talking about you and talk about organic muscle. He's like, "I love it." Like, it's just it's it there aren't many companies out there that care about the cleanliness of what they do. They just care about the business of what they do. And it something just sparked that in me to be able to bring that up because Ed is someone Jared I love and trust. Ed I love and trust and I'm seeing all these people from different walks of life coming and saying the same exact thing. So I'm like okay I need to get on this. I need to start talking about this. I need to start sharing it. I want to go into the testosterone booster. The Tom Cat Ali. Can you tell us a little bit about that because I've never heard about that before in my life.

>> Oh, tonatalie is remarkable and we we actually came out with the first certified organic tonatalie on the market. But I'm passionate about this because I know, you know, there's a time and a place for TRT and things like that. I know some people who use it successfully and it's it's good for where they're at in life and their their their health and their position, but I know so many people who got on TRT or steroids at a young age and really had a lot of negative side effects. A friend of mine became impotent and became, you know, basically suicidal as a result and it took him many years to regain his sexual health.

>> Wow. So that's part of the reason why I'm I'm passionate about this because God, mother nature has given us what we need to boost your testosterone significantly. And it's it's well studied. You could go to examine.com which is an amalgamation of all the different studies

>> on different different ingredients and there's numerous studies for tonatalie. It is proven to raise free testosterone in men and uh it basically normalizes your your number. If you're low, it will bring you up and

>> so it like regulates it across the board.

>> Yes. It will regulate it. And as you know, especially in the western world, uh our hormones are under attack with environmental pollutants, things they're spraying in the sky, the food, all these things. So thankfully we have a tool to combat against that that's extremely effective. And for a little bit of context, I'm a vegan. You know, all I don't I've never done TRT or steroids and my testosterone is in the top 1% of all men for my age and I attribute it to the diet and the tonatal. That's all I take.

>> Yeah. You know,

>> so it works remarkably well. Sorry. One one piece I love the sun. Like people perate the sun. Go outside in the sun. Literally put your balls in the sun. Like people don't people don't think about that anymore, you know? And

>> yeah,

>> your main energy center in your body is covered all the time.

>> Some people even sleep with it covered. I'm like,

>> we none of this is normal anymore. Is normal anymore. So I love that because you're you're bringing in different aspects. Food extremely important, right? That that literally makes you who you are. Now you have these herbs like ton catalie sounds extremely important. I'm going to be trying this myself. And then when you merge that with like real light,

>> the sun, full spectrum light made by God, it's like the craziest thing in the world.

>> Oh my goodness.

>> I mean 10 minutes every morning. We just got this bed outside um on our balcony here and the sun hits perfectly. So every morning I wake up right the sunrise around like 700 7:30 a.m. I just keep the shade open. The sun wakes me up and I'll go right out there and I'm waking up naked like I think we all should and I'm laying out and since doing that I haven't been doing that for that long. I don't know why. It's like the days got ahead of me and stress got ahead of me and I just haven't doing it. But I have been doing it over the past month and it has like changed so much for me. So I can't wait to bring now the tongue cataly into the regimen

>> and to bring it all. It's it's it's really exciting. Now I want to I want to focus on something you said something that I knew actually because we spent time together. Um being that you are vegan. Now

>> you weren't obviously born and raised that way, right? You were

>> the opposite. [laughter] So, I ask that because as you know, I was born and raised that way. Today, I will have uh egg. I don't eat meat at all, but I will have eggs to a degree, fish every so often, so long as it's wild. Um, but still, the primary aspect of everything that I eat is fruits, vegetable, mainly fruits

>> and nuts. I'm like a bird. [laughter] But I see you have this thing called NASFIT, the health nutrition program. And what caught my attention was something that we spoke about, me, you and Aaron Abkkey, the ancient aene wisdom for mind, body, and spirit. And it's this whole nutrition program. Can you tell me a little bit more about that because this is it's fascinating.

>> It is. And this is one of the things I'm most passionate about in life. Uh Erin and I talk about it a lot on our podcast, The Jesus Way, about how the ancient Essen and the early Nazarene movement, which emerged from this Essen type of Judaism, was they really prioritized the health and purity of the physical temple because this is the place that God comes into. So if it's if there's uh disease or some form of impurity, well they believe that you know consuming meat was consuming a denser energy of suffering and that it diminished the connection with God. And since I I've stopped eating meat, I've my connection to God has really strengthened remarkably. But yeah, this was an important part of their spiritual practice. a himsa, nonviolence, living a life of love and compassion to sentient beings. And as a result of that, they were noted by all of these historical sources as having remarkable strength and and longevity. They were considered the most remarkable people in all the world. They were called theraputi, which means healers. That was the branch of the Essenes in Egypt. um the Nazarines. You know, Jesus's cousin was named Simeon, and he was the third leader of the church, and he was tortured by the Romans when he was 120 years old, according to several ancient sources. He was 120. And they marveled at how this old man could endure torture for days on end. And it was because they understood that physical health, physical vitality was just one part, a central part of the spiritual path because when you're sick and lazy and slothful and all of these things, the the spirit is not within you.

>> You know, it's it's interesting because like what we're talking about right now is pretty controversial. Like every time I

>> tell you, every time I talk about they're like, "No, you're crazy." it's part of like the new world order and they don't want you to eat meat. By the way, I don't disagree with that, right? They're trying to push us to like lab meat and like all these things made of insects and fine. There there's a truth there.

>> Yeah.

>> But I mean, here's how I always explain it and I like that you're rooting it in now like ancient wisdom and the scenes and so on and so forth, but you are what you eat. Quite literally. What you eat you become. outside of the like as you digest it, you then absorb certain nutrients and that's why you are what you eat.

>> And the way that I love explaining it to kind of piggyback off of what you're saying is if you are what you eat, when you eat things that are more physically oriented, you will become more physically oriented. And when you eat things that are more water or non-physically oriented, less dense, then you will become that. So then people say, well, why are you saying that meat is more physical? Well, scientifically, meat is made up in terms of the composition between matter to water because water is much less dense than physical hard matter that you're chewing on. meat would be like 70% matter and 30% water. And that sounds great because that's like the human body.

>> But a cucumber is 98% water and 2% matter. And I can say that I mean when I've done any form of fasts and had mainly liquid, whether that be uh water, juice to an extent, whatever it may be, your memory, you could probably attest to this too. Your memory increases. Your dreams are more vivid. your dreams are more lucid. You're able to do things differently. Your pain goes away. It's like the body starts operating in a way that that seemed supernatural before it became natural to you. So, I'm so on board with what you're saying because

>> I don't know what happened and where we turned the leaf to say let's start maybe because we had to when it came to hunting and whatnot, but naturally, what would be easier for you 10,000 years ago? Hunting, killing, and cooking an animal or grabbing something off a tree?

>> Mhm.

>> And that's why people live closer to the equator. It just made sense. you have the seasons, you know, you had all these it just it made a lot more sense. So,

>> when did you decide to to move into not eating animal products?

>> [sighs and gasps]

>> I had um it was a collection of events, but really it was learning about the Essenes. You know, I'm a I'm a nerd for history and spirituality, and Aaron and I were studying the early Christian movement, and we just saw over and over from the church fathers talking about how James the Just, the brother of Jesus, was a lifelong vegetarian, Ucius, the father of church history, saying every single apostle, abstained from the eating of flesh. And we just we just accumulated like 20 really solid proofs about the early church. And we're like, why are we not taught this? And then we started learning about the spiritual philosophy of why they did it and how they felt it helped them in their prayer life and to be more of service. And it's it's also about just not over consuming in general,

>> right?

>> There's especially in America, you know, someone could be a vegan and be way over consuming, right? It's more about having discipline over the mind and of the vessel, which is a super important part of it. But yeah, it basically learning about the spiritual philosophy of why this lifestyle can be beneficial spiritually speaking and physically is what led us on this path. And we have all of that information in Nazfitit, the historical proofs, the nutritional science, and it really focuses on a fruit centric diet. So even if you're still eating meat, you could still do this lifestyle to a large extent where you're eating fruit throughout the day and then later in the day you would have uh a more balanced meal with your fats and proteins. But you're talking about the sun. The sugar and fruit is literally sunlight that goes through this process of photosynthesis with the sun and water and it becomes the fructose. So it's there's some kind of spiritual intelligence as we know in sunlight and I believe it translates into the fruit and when you're eating a lot of fruit this light hydrating food I promise you your focus your clarity your connection your empathy all these things just get turned on and it's it's almost like a remarkable spiritual hack just eating good clean organic fruit.

>> Yep. Yep. It's it's I I've been doing it a lot more lately, more being more conscious of it, and it's absolutely incredible. I'll say one last thing about the Bible. In Hebrew, we call it Besit, the first book. Uh in English, I think it's Genesis.

>> And I I'll paraphrase because I don't remember it exactly before we come back to organic muscle. It literally says as God likes speaking if if you and by the way I'm not religious in any way but it's interesting that this book says it in such a way

>> right

>> where it's saying that you know I gave you all the greens and the bushes and the grass all the plants to consume not

>> and by the way they were only eating that way up until Noah's Noah and Noah's ark they all lived till 6 7 8 900 years old.

>> Yeah.

>> And then after Noah's arc, it was it was I believe uh when the Hebrews were in the desert or something like that. And it says in one of the books, if you want meat so much and it says like the translation is if you want to stuff your nostrils with with animals and meat, then here's the here's the best possible way to do that. And that's when the laws of kashut or the kosher laws came into play of these are if you're already gonna eat the animal eat these types of animals. This is how you're going to kill it. This is how you're going to do this. This is how you're going to do that and so on and so forth. But it didn't come from a place of uh you know this is what you should be doing. It's if you're already going to be doing this, this is the best way to do it. And it's interesting how lifespan went from 700 to now started capping at like 120 and then it started decreasing and decreasing and decreasing. And for anybody that says because I've had rabbis in my Hebrew schools tell me, "Jason, you're wrong." Because I I always used to fight with them. You're wrong. Um as a matter of fact, time was not the same measurement before Noah's arc and after Noah's arc. And that's why they say 700 years old back then and today it's only like a hundred. And I thought about that because I didn't have an answer. And I said, "Well, let me read." So I read the the Torah, the Old Testament twice in English. And something caught my eye. When you look at Abraham and Sarah in the story, and Sarah couldn't give birth. She couldn't get pregnant for a for a long period of time. What did it say? She was like Abraham was like 99. she was in her 90s, something like that. And it literally says in the book, "The angels came and blessed Sarah."

>> And I'm paraphrasing, "And within one year she gave birth."

>> So if within one year she gave birth, now it gives us something to tie this to

>> the biology of a woman and how long it takes for her to conceive and then end up giving birth to a baby, right? That's nine months. That's never changed.

>> Yeah.

>> So therefore, the one year back then is the same one year today. And they did live that long.

>> Yeah, that's a great point. Wow.

>> I don't know where I was reading it one day and I was really like passionate to to show the rabbis why they were. I'm like, you guys, you're wrong. I don't know why. Like I just feel it. I know it and I'm going to prove it to you. And it took me time, but that was the main thing. And you know what happened after that? They kicked me out of Judea classes. Yeah,

>> of course

>> they said that I was uh

>> this kid this kid's causing trouble. They told me but anyways, back to organic muscle. I want to ask you, James, what's your what's your vision here? Where do you see this in the next few years? How do you are are you still in the innovation phase in terms of new uh product lines and so on so forth? Are you taking what you have and just making it better and better or a combination of both?

>> Yeah, it's a combination of both. We're always working to improve our formulas. We make tweaks. We really take customer feedback seriously. We're working to improve the formulas. And we're releasing some new products. We're releasing the first fully organic test booster, which is the tonatalie plus seven other ingredients, you know, zinc, vitamin D, and some other top secret ingredients. We'll we'll share more about that soon, but Vitamin Shop is picking that up nationwide.

>> Amazing. So, we're very excited about that. We think uh some other retailers are going to pick it up as well. But yeah, we're just continuing this journey. We have some other exciting thing. I can't share too much, but some beautiful opportunities ahead. And we're just trying to really also educate about nutrition. We're we're in this because we want to make the world a better place and help people be healthier. Again, when I was in the hospital when my mom had cancer, it really I I made a pledge to myself that I want to dedicate my life to keeping people out of here.

>> Y

>> and if we could do that through make a small little dent through a healthier form of supplementation, then it will be a life well-lived.

>> 100%. Brother, for everybody watching right now, there are going to be links in the description below this vid below this video to check all of this out. James, you're awesome. You've always been awesome and you'll always be awesome. I look forward to meeting you in person again at some point whenever that happens. God bless you and thank you for bringing all the amazing things that your energy is creating and your soul is creating to the world to help people. Thank you very much.

>> Thank you, Jason. God bless. I really appreciate you having me.

>> Thank you.
