Hey guys, it's me again. I'm feeling very hungry right now, so I'm going to take you guys to the city, um, in San Diego. And you guys are going to help me find a good food place to eat at. So, come along with me on another adventure.
All right, we found a place. It's called Anony Seafood. This is the outside. It looks really good, so let's go in and see what they're like.
Like inside, it's so beautiful. It's like a pretty garden, a lot of greenery, and we have bamboo trees there and fishes. So, this is one of the entrances. There's also one more that I will show you after. Have bamboo trees, it's like a little pathway. It's so cute, and these bamboo trees are so tall. And people write on them. See, people write their names on it and their dates.
So, here is the main entrance. It's actually an oyster. It's an oyster shape that you walk through. Pretty cool. And I believe it is happy hour right now. Here's some appetizers and some of the prices.

This is the outdoor seating. You eat right next to a beautiful lake. And here's their lunch specials, and we are eating here for lunch. So, yeah. What do you think you're going to get?
Um, everything sounds so good. It's really hard to choose something. Something, but my eye is caught on their lunch special. It's called Cajun avocado bacon shrimp melt. And I think that sounds really amazing to me. I love spicy food, and out of all the seafood, shrimp is my favorite. So, I think I'm going to go with that. But they also have this other one that is is called Crab and cheese. This one says crab meat, tomato, and cheddar cheese grilled on sourdough or wheat bread. I think that sounds really good too. Also, for an appetizer, I think we're going to get Camarones, which is basically fried octopus, I believe. But this one says that it's fried and tossed.
Both start something. A drink? Um, yes. What do you actually have for your drinks? Do you want? I couldn't find alcohol or non-alcohol. Non-alcoholic. So, we, I'll show you all of our drinks here. We have Coke, we have Coke Zero, we have cranberry juice, raspberry lemonade.
Okay, could I do a raspberry lemonade? Of course. Thank you. And you both want our bread to start off? It comes with a sundried tomato butter. Yes, please. Okay, perfect. Great. Could we get the Mama's crab cake? Of course. Yes. And would you like to order now or just start with the appetizer for now? Um, yeah, we'll order now. Perfect. Could I get the Cajun avocado bacon shrimp melt? Yes. Would you like sourdough or wheat bread? Um, sourdough, please. And what side order would you like? Could I get it with fries? And could I actually get it without avocado? Of course. Okay, thank you. You're welcome. Could I actually keep one of these menus? Yeah, of course.
Okay guys, so I actually changed my drink. I decided to get the same thing as my husband, and this is a piña colada, but it's a virgin piña colada because usually this is an alcoholic drink. But basically, it's pineapple and coconut, like kind of like a smoothie. Um, it's so good and refreshing.
All right, I'm going to try the piña colada. Look how cute it is. And take the cherry out. That is amazing. It's like the perfect balance of the pineapple and coconut. Um, it's very refreshing because it is really hot in San Diego right now. Five. It kind of tastes like ice cream, like a pineapple ice cream with like vanilla. Has like vanilla in it. I really like this. Oh, so this is called a piña colada. A virgin. Make sure you say virgin piña colada if you don't drink alcohol because if you just say a piña colada, there's going to be alcohol in it. Very good.
They brought us some complimentary bread. It is a crab and tomato sauce, and here's some butter. And let's reveal the bread. Ooh, it's like kind of like a bun. It's precut for you. Yummy. All right, I'm I'm going to go ahead and try one of these breads. It looks so good. All right, come closer. Let me show you this goodness. All right, so here I believe we have some regular butter. So I'm going to put a little bit of that on there. Some butter. There we go. And this is supposed to be like a crab and tomato butter, I think she said. So I'm just going to try a little bit like that. You see that? It's really good. All right, ahead and try it. It's really good. It tastes very tomato, like tomatoey. I like tomatoes. So well, I do like tomatoes, but I don't like tomatoes. But this is like the perfect amount of that tomato sauce. It's really creamy, very good. Um, I can't really taste the crab that much, but I like it. It's good. I would recommend it. Well, this is complimentary, so that means that if you're eating here, you automatically get this as an appetizer. For S plates. A little hot, just be careful. That's our crab cake.
I brought some appetizer plates with lemons. Thank you. Anything else at the moment? Everything. Thank you. Here is the crab cake that we ordered. It comes with a creamy lemon sauce and some little salad on the side. Let's go ahead and try it and I'll tell you guys how it tastes. This is what it looks like on the inside. Tomato looks really good, huh? All right, we'll see how this tastes. I'm going to put it in the lemon sauce too. Wow, it's very, very soft. It's not super fishy. The lemon sauce is really good on top of it and kind of balances out that crabby taste. And, uh, it's got a nice crisp on the outside, kind of breaded on the outside, so crispy on the outside, really soft and tender on the inside. And I think it's got some vegetables in there too. It's really good. I would definitely recommend getting this crab cake. Very good.
Food just got got here. It looks so delicious. Look at that crab, cheese, and bacon, served with a side of fries. So yummy. I can't wait to try this. Oh, I'm sorry, it's not crab, it's shrimp. It's shrimp, cheese, and bacon. All right, I'm going to dive into this sandwich. It looks so good. I don't even know where to start, but we will start with the sandwich. Remove the toothpick. Do not eat the toothpick. It's just to hold the sandwich together. All right, this looks so good. And all right, I'm going to buy it right here. This is amazing. The cheese is so good, and the shrimp. It says spicy shrimp. It's not that spicy. So if you're someone who's afraid of spiciness, don't be scared of this sandwich. It's very mild. So very good. And the bacon and the tomato just kind of like tops it off. Oh my God. Uh, the bacon adds the saltiness to it, and everything just goes together so well. So good. 10 out of 10 recommend.
Let's try these french fries. They look like Cajun french fries, which means that they're a little spicier. I don't know if you can hear that crispy in my chewing, but the crispiness is so good. Like, listen to the crunch. Did you hear that? These fries are absolutely amazing. I would totally recommend getting this. So the shrimp, bacon, tomato, and cheese sandwich, get it. It's amazing. You have to try it.
And here we've got fish tacos. That looks so good with a side of beans. Got some avocados, tomatoes. There's some breaded fish in there. Super cute and colorful. All right, next is the fish tacos and the beans. I'm going to go ahead and try this. This also looks very good. I think it's really cute because it's colorful. I like the pink and the greens and the orange and the reds. All right, so you kind of just wrap it up like this. It's a little hot, and I'm going to go ahead and take a bite. The fish tastes very fresh and super soft. It kind of melts in your mouth. I never had that melts in your mouth. And this is like a pickled vegetable. Um, I think it's called radish. It's really good. Um, the cilantro adds a nice touch to it too. Um, everything just kind of balances each other out. I really like that. I'm going to go ahead and try the black beans. I think this is cheese on top of it. Oh, that's really good. The beans are very good. It's not mushy. It kind of has this tiny little spice in it. Um, it's just, it's amazing. It's really good. Anyway, another 10 out of 10 would totally recommend it. Fish tacos here, so good. Everything's amazing.
Here is the receipt for all that we got today. As you can see, we got two virgin piña coladas, one crab cake, we got the sandwich, shrimp sandwich that I got, and fish tacos. And the total came out to $66.89. And down here, you see these percentages. That is the recommended tip amount. So today we went to eat at Anthony's Fish Grotto, and everything tasted so amazing. And this is a for
