There's a pain most people don't talk about. The pain of being abandoned in your darkest hour. When you were drowning, they didn't reach out. When you cried out for help, they turned away. And when your world was falling apart, the people you thought would stand by you disappeared.
But that wasn't an accident. People who walk away when you're broken were never truly there for you. That's not love. That's some form of conditional attachment wrapped in false loyalty.
But here's what matters most. Their absence didn't destroy you. It revealed you. You discovered that even in isolation, you still had the strength to rise. That even in silence, your truth still had a voice. And even without their approval, you were still worthy of healing.
One day, they may look back and realize they abandoned the strongest person they ever knew. But by then, you'll be somewhere they can't reach. Because you didn't just survive their betrayal, you outgrew it.
