This report details an officer-involved shooting that took place overnight in Harbor Gateway. At approximately 11:00 PM, Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) officers responded to a robbery at a 7-Eleven store located at the intersection of Redondo Beach Boulevard and Figueroa Street. Upon arrival, officers encountered a female suspect behind the counter. Police stated that the suspect appeared to be retrieving a firearm from a bag. In response, officers discharged their firearms, shooting the suspect. The suspect was pronounced dead at the scene. Fortunately, no other individuals were injured during the incident. Authorities have recovered a firearm from the scene.
