My Testimony - Why I do what I do

[Music] Welcome to Teacher and Design podcast.

In recent months, quite a few new people have been introduced to this podcast. Uh, this channel has a catalog of over 120 videos, uh, which can be daunting. Those of you who have been with me for a very long time have a pretty good idea of who I am, what I teach, and why I teach it. But even if a new listener were inclined to watch the entire backlog of videos, it would take quite some time.

People understandably uh feel anxious about investing the time listening to someone they aren't sure that they can trust. I know I am. After all, there are many voices out there crying low here and low there. There are people out there that claim exclusive authority uh that they understand the mysteries and have the proper interpretation of scriptures. Some even produce their own scriptures and seek a following. And yet others simply share things that they have come to understand in humility. And instead of promoting themselves, they ask people to place their trust in Christ alone. But who is who? And what is their agenda? And and can they be trusted? These are perfectly normal questions.

And the truth is we should never place our trust in anyone. We might be blessed by listening to the perspective of another person. We might learn something new listening to a podcast or watching a video on YouTube, but we should also prove those things that we hear, look into it, study it out and and go to God.

It's only natural that I receive questions from people who wonder uh what I believe about certain things. And when someone shares one of my videos with someone else, uh that person often will then want to know ahead of time where I am coming from in terms of my perspective. Additionally, uh plenty of people have made assumptions about my religious background or what my agenda might be. And because of this, I thought I would take some time uh for those who are new to the channel especially uh to briefly explain my background and answer the fundamental question, why do I do what I do? But also I want to take time to share my testimony of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and how he rescued me not only from hell but from dead religion. Some of this uh I have shared before while other things I have never shared on this channel.

I was raised in the reorganized church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints which was organized on April 6th, 1860 in Amboy, Illinois by saints who did not go west with Brigham Young did not believe in or practice polygamy and believed Joseph Smith III to be the successor of the church established in 1830 by his father Joseph Smith Jr. The most simplistic description of the RLDS church is that we are essentially Methodists who have two additional books of scripture, namely the Book of Mormon and a Doctrine of Covenants, our own version of it, somewhat different than the LTS. And the reason why we're a lot like a Methodist church is that Joseph Smith III uh was a Methodist before he reluctantly took up the mantle of president of the reorganized church. And also both his father Joseph Smith and his mother Emma Smith uh most closely aligned with the views of the Methodist church before Joseph organized his own church in 1830.

The first memory I have of any spiritual experience came around 8 years old after my mother started buying children's books, um, picture books of biblical stories, you know, like Jonah and the Whale and Daniel and the Lion's Den, and she would read them to me at bedtime. This was in the mid uh to late 70s and I don't recall people at church talking at about the last days. Uh but to be honest, I didn't pay too much attention to church at that age. But one night as I was laying in bed, I staring out the window at the night sky and some power began to pull at my heart. I didn't understand it at the time, but I believe those Bible stories opened my heart to God and big thoughts rushed into my young mind uh kind of like a download and in a moment somehow I understood that I would live to see the last days uh begin to unfold. Even though I didn't really understand the concept, it felt important. I knew something significant was being communicated.

After my parents got divorced when I lived with my mother, I attended church, but I still didn't really know God. Uh my dad had turned against the church and become an atheist. But ironically, he was the first to send me to a church camp. I was around, I think, age 14. And one night, the campfire ended with the singing of God forgave my sins. As we sang, my my heart began to break and tears welled up in my eyes and rolled down my cheeks. And I looked around and other kids seemed to be experiencing the same phenomenon. Walking with my cousin back to our cabin, he asked what I thought had just happened. I told him I didn't know, but the thought came into my mind that we had just experienced the spirit of God. I didn't really understand it, but I could feel his presence. It stayed with us for some time, and the kids were a lot quieter in the cabin that night.

Yet, life returned to normal. We went about our lives. I continued to deal with the hurts in life. Um, surviving school, navigating various social and life experiences, getting absorbed in Captain Kirk, Star Wars, uh, comic books, and becoming interested in girls. I was a teenage boy, after all.

In the early 1990s, I was fresh out of college, trying to find my way in the world, but had wandered far from God. Caught in the sins of the flesh, common to many young men, I was into heavy metal music, Dungeons and Dragons, getting drunk. At one point, a few of my friends and I ended up playing with runstones uh at one of my friends house uh drawing them out of a bag one by one when we asked a question in order to receive an answer. Kind of using it like a Ouija board. At first, we didn't really believe in it. We just did it jokingly until supernatural things began to occur. And at first it was fascinating, intriguing. And then one night while staying over at a friend's house, I was physically attacked by a demon, which sent me fleeing from my friend's house and driving to my grandparents house for protection. And so, while I didn't truly know God yet, I began to realize there was a force of evil out there, which means there must be then a God and the force of good. I knew at the back of my mind that someday I needed to repent of my sins and come back to God. But I also started to recognize that I was in spiritual bondage and unable to free myself from my own sins.

My grandfather was the only real connection that I had to God. When I was with him uh or in his home, I felt the presence of the spirit. I felt an unexplainable peace. And when he passed away, it was the hardest thing I had ever experienced up to that point in my life. I loved him dearly.

After drinking with friends one night, I came home and crawled into bed and something in my spirit stirred as I lay in the dark. I knew that I desperately needed to change and yet I knew I could not. I cried out to God, tears in my eyes, asking him to take away my agency if he had to and force me to change. I felt him shaking his head saying, "You know, I can't do that." But I argued with him, saying, "But I'm using my agency to ask you to take away my agency." Well, God didn't answer me. Years later, I realized that what I had done was given the Lord permission to intercede in my life as he saw fit.

Now, many days after this, I experienced a panic attack. One night, for the first time in my life, felt like I was going to die. And from that point forward, I seemed to be in the grasp of the devil with no way to escape it. I felt like I'd been cast off from God, that I was bound for hell. During the daytime, I could stave off the anxiety to some degree, but nights were a torment. I was racked each night by anxiety and fear. This went on for about a year until the point came where I no longer held a desire for anything that this world had to offer. I felt like I was going to die, but I no longer cared about living. My sole desire was to to simply know that I was forgiven and to feel the Lord's embrace once more.

Finally, after almost a year of this, in a moment of extreme crisis, at the height of my anxiety and fears, when I thought my heart was going to give out, my uncle, an elder in the church, was called and he came over, anointed my head with oil, and prayed. And as he began to pray, his voice was not his own. Instead, I heard the voice of my beloved grandfather, who had passed away. However, the words that were spoken were not those of a man petitioning God, but rather the words of God himself, speaking directly to me. At that moment, my chains were broken. The Lord healed me of my affliction. Peace was restored to my soul. In the message, the Lord told me that he had never at any time left or forsaken me. He told me that he loved me. And in that moment, I was reborn. I now knew for a certainty that there was a God and that he was everything. I dedicated my life to him completely. And I made a covenant with him, not with a church and and not with the religious traditions I was taught growing up, but with God alone. The covenant that I made with him is that I would go anywhere that he sent, do whatever he asked, and speak whatever words he gave me to speak regardless of the cost.

About a year after that, I I added that like Abraham, who was counted as a friend of God, I also wanted to be counted as his friend. I believe with all my heart that each one of us needs to make our own personal covenant with God in our own words. Uh baptism of water is not the covenant. It is a public witness that we have made that covenant. So, if you were baptized, but you never actually made your own covenant with God in accordance with the promises found in Christ's teachings, then I encourage you to do that. Christ made the way possible by what he did on the cross. We are saved from the second death by the blood of the lamb being applied to the doorposts of our soul. But your relationship with the Lord is a personal one. and I believe your covenant should be as well.

Within months of my conversion experience, I was called to minister as a teacher. First by way of the voice of the spirit and then by the witness of three elders to the church. Being called to an office of ministry in the RLDS church is different than in the LDS church. A man in good standing with the church might not ever be called into an office and that is not necessarily seen as an indication of a problem. Also, a man who is 30 years old might be called to serve as a deacon and that ministry could be lifelong. Therefore, offices of ministry are not dependent on age and they're not really seen as stepping stones necessarily to any other office. Though a man may be later called to another office, I was ordained a teacher in the Church of Christ restored, a newly formed organization of former RLDS congregations, mainly in Michigan, seeking a path forward to serve God together. The early days of the church were richly blessed by the gifts of the spirit and the appearance of angels, one of the three Nephites, and even Christ himself were seen by multiple witnesses. This wasn't completely unusual, even in other groups or churches that formed as an offshoot of the RLDS around this time. God seemed to bless the effort of any people who came together in unity to seek him and to serve him. However, as soon as the focus shifted from seeking God to building a church organization and men began to seek titles or position of power, things began to go downhill. not only in the church of Christ restored but in in all the other organization efforts that I have seen over the last 30 years or so. And I share that information only because I believe there is wisdom to be gained from our experiences both in our successes but also in our failures.

Because I had promised to serve God all of my days and was now called to serve as a teacher, I needed to know what was truly written in the scriptures. I read the Bible cover to cover. At each time I sat down to read my Bible, I first prayed to the Lord, asking his spirit to teach me as I read line by line. My testimony is that the Holy Spirit attended my reading and bore witness to the truth of the Bible. I was blessed tremendously as the spirit revealed many insights. But this would also be the beginning of many troubles for me in the church as there were things in the Bible, things the Holy Spirit bore witness to that made me question some of our religious beliefs and practices. One example of this would be our tradition that only elders could lay hands on someone to heal them. Despite Jesus stating in both the Bible and the Book of Mormon that this is one of the signs that would follow all those who believed in him and were baptized, my wife's eyes kept deteriorating, causing her terrible headaches. She kept having to get stronger prescription glasses, which we couldn't afford to keep doing. And we had been reading in the scriptures about those who believe can lay hands on the sick and they will be healed. I discussed this with other priesthood members during one of our retreats and was flatly told that I was wrong. But one day my wife said, "I know that if you place your hands over my eyes and pray that they will be healed." We both felt such faith in what the scriptures revealed. And we had also read the testimony of others who had walked in these promises. So I laid my hand over her eyes and commanded that her eyes be healed in the name of Jesus Christ. And she immediately confessed as a declaration of faith, "My eyes are healed." It wasn't too long before the proof of that healing came. The headache stopped and the autotometrist verified that she no longer needed glasses at all.

After reading the Bible, I picked up the Book of Mormon. In my initial prayer, I confessed to God that I had previously thought I believed in this book. But that was only because my family and church believed in it. But the truth was I had no personal witness of it for myself. Like the Bible, I had not read it except for excerpts here and there. I recall thinking that if I were to discover that the Book of Mormon was not true, it might make my life easier. I would no longer need to fear ridicule for my belief in it. I could be free from the association of Mormonism. I could better fit in with my Christian friends. But regardless of my desire, above all else, I simply wanted to know the truth. In that prayer before opening to the first page, I told God that I would follow him alone, that I did not follow Joseph Smith. And if he told me to burn my copy of the Book of Mormon, I would do so without hesitation. As I began to read, the Holy Spirit attended my study as he had done with the Bible. He not only bore witness to the truth of the Nephite record, but also taught me from on high, illuminating passages and revealing deeper insights. Studying the Book of Mormon, a book that supposedly distinguished us from all other Christian churches, it was shocking to find out how fully it agreed with the teachings in the Bible and and even opposed many of the traditions and teachings of the church. speaking of the RLDDS church to say nothing of the many doctrines of the LDS church which are definitely not supported in this book and some that are directly opposed. It is ironic that Christians largely reject the Book of Mormon because they believe this is where many of the Mormon doctrines that they rightly believe to be wrong come from. when in fact the Book of Mormon stands as one of the most powerful witnesses against the Mormon churches and their erroneous doctrines. And so at the conclusion of this, I had two witnesses, two separate books of scripture that bore witness to the fundamental core teachings of Jesus. Teachings which appeared to have been sidelined by Mormonism itself.

The Doctrine and Covenants was a different experience. I had no explanation for it. There were times when I felt the same witness of the Holy Spirit as I did with the Bible and the Book of Mormon, especially in the earliest revelations dated from 1828 to 1829. Some revelations appeared to be a mixed bag, though. In other revelations, the Holy Spirit gave no witness at all. The further I went into the book, the less the Spirit bore witness. It would be years before I would have any clue why this was.

As a newly ordained teacher, I experienced a split in our home congregation. That split was over the word of wisdom. And it was devastating. According to the Doctrine Covenants, it was the responsibility of a teacher to keep peace in the church. And to see that there was no iniquity. I had clearly failed in this. I became so angry and disheartened by what Satan was doing to the people that I loved that one evening I challenged the devil demanding that he leave the congregation alone that if he wanted to fight he could fight me instead. And two things happened at that moment both of them simultaneously. First a shadow presence appeared in the far corner of the room. I felt pure evil from it, but also I immediately felt the presence of the Lord just over my right shoulder. In that moment, I can't tell you how, but I discerned that the adversary had great power. The thought had entered into my mind that if I were to engage him physically, he could throw me through the wall. And with that thought, I I heard the voice of the Lord and he said, "If you want to fight him that way, you'll have to do it on your own." I immediately repented and I told the Lord that I would do it his way. And with that, the shadowy presence of the adversary left. And yet my failure as a teacher being unable seemingly to stop the devastation in our congregation continued to loom large in my heart and mind.

One night I went to bed in tears and asked God why he had taken my grandfather who was a beloved patriarch in the church. Why would he take him and then insert me into an office of ministry in this congregation? I felt like this division wouldn't have taken place had he been around. I told God that he'd made a bad choice. He should have left my grandfather and taken me instead. I fell asleep and I dreamed that I was at my grandfather's house. It was a family reunion. Everyone was there except my grandfather. His chair remained empty and nobody would sit in it. I felt a sadness as I gazed at it. And then suddenly my grandfather appeared sitting in his chair. Excitedly I cried out to everyone else and people turned to look but he was gone. I explained to them that I just seen him sitting there. And eventually people went back to their conversations and that's when he appeared again. And once more I exclaimed out loud to to get people's attention. But once more when everyone stopped and looked, he was gone. At this point, my aunt Jan got very upset at me and I think she wondered if I was making some kind of cruel joke. I told her that I wasn't. And then the third time, my grandfather appeared. But before I could cry out, my grandfather stopped me and he said, "Doug, I'm here for you." At that moment, the dream that I was in evaporated. And everyone that was in that dream disappeared except for my grandfather and I. We were still in what appeared to be my grandparents living room, but it was like I had awoken from a dream. Everything was now extremely vivid. My grandfather told me that he had a message for me. He gave me instructions or counsel. But once the vision ended, I would remember every detail of the dream and that vision except for the message. I had absolutely zero memory of any of it, not even what it was about. And afterwards, I asked God why he would not allow me to remember this message. It made no sense to me.

Within a week, I was reading in the Bible and came across the following passage in the book of Job. Job 33:14:16 says, "For God may speak in one or in another, yet man does not perceive it." In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falls upon men while slumbering in their beds, then he opens the ears of men and seals their instruction. I realized that even though I could not consciously remember what was spoken, I knew the words were sealed within my spirit and it caused a change in my heart. For the very next day, I was renewed, the depression lifted and hope was restored.

In the vision, after my grandfather finished the message that he had come to deliver, he told me that he had to go. I ran to him and I fell on my knees. I grabbed hold of his garment. I loved my grandfather and I missed him so much I could not bear to have him leave me again. I tried to cry out, "Don't go. Please don't leave me." But when I opened my mouth, words not of my choosing came out, and instead I cried, "Give me a blessing before you go." My grandfather laid his hands on my head, and the most powerful sensation washed through my entire body from head to toe. It felt like a very power that had created the universe coursed through every cell of my body. It was if I was being unmade and remade again. And then the vision closed and I found myself upright in bed. My face wet with tears.

Brothers and sisters, um there is nothing special about me that God would work through me more than any other person who he has created and set on this earth. The scriptures tell us that God is no respector of persons. He will work through anyone who steps out in faith in obedience to the voice of his spirit. Since making my covenant, there have been times over the years when the Lord has chosen to speak through me to individuals. Times when he prophesied through me to congregations and to individuals and those prophecies came to pass. I have cast out devils and a handful of times the Lord has performed a miracle through me. But this is not because I am a prophet. Not because God has chosen me to lead his people. Not because I am one like Moses or someone that people should follow. Certainly not because I am without faults, because I have them in spades, but because I take God at his word and I have stepped out in faith rather than disbelief, having made a covenant with him to do whatever he asks me to do. And I have seen God work powerfully through many people over the years. And it is my testimony to you that God is looking for a people who will take him at his word and step out in faith. Even the faith of Abraham, he seeks those who would desire to be called a friend of God. Anyone who does this, the Lord can and will use. We all serve different purposes. Not everyone has the same calling, but each member of the body is capable of walking in the very powers of heaven, the very powers that created the universe, if they but abide in Jesus, and Jesus abides in them and they step out in faith when prompted by the Holy Spirit.

Returning to my study of the scriptures, because of the things that the Holy Spirit revealed in the word of God, some of which conflicted with the traditions of the reorganized church, I occasionally got into trouble. And for every conflict, there were good men who supported and encouraged me. But I was young, inexperienced, and frequent conflicts or accusations from the more legalistic and judgmental authorities of the church deeply hurt my heart and I did not know how to deal with it. I was tired of being wounded for just speaking and acting according to what the Lord had revealed. And as a result of these hurts, I walked away from the church for a time, joining what would turn out to be a cult, a community of XRLDS people that lived more primitively than the Amish. They were supposedly building Zion, which was something that my heart desired. My wife and I quit our jobs and we sold or gave away all of our possessions and moved to another state to live on the property of this community. I was there for 2 years. But within 6 months, I realized something was off. The more I discovered regarding the teachings and practices which were periodically revised by the leader, the more contradictions I saw between what they believed and what Christ taught.

I ended up doing a 4-day fast in a tepee in a far-flung field, having no contact with anyone during that time. And on the third night, Jesus appeared to me in that tepee. I had never been in the presence of Christ before. I could feel his holiness which caused me to avert my eyes because all of my sins and weaknesses were transparent before him. Though I felt no condemnation coming from him. Jesus told me to depart that place and go to Missouri where he had a work for me to do. in Missouri. I worked to rebuild my life and asked God to reveal how it is that I had been deceived into joining this group. And God revealed how we as humans allow ourselves to be deceived and the reasons why. Over the next two weeks, the Holy Spirit rehearsed in my mind countless scriptures that were designed to help his people avoid deception. I was already aware of most of these verses, but I had either forgotten or ignored their counsel because I had so much hurt in the church that I desired with all my heart that this group would truly be Zion. I I wanted it to be true. This was an important experience for me in my life. It was a great humbling that helped me to spiritually grow and to better understand not only human nature but to understand myself.

And within months of that, the Lord began to reveal an astonishing truth concerning the restoration what it was all about. I discovered in the earliest writings and experiences of Joseph Smith and in the words of Moroni and in the prophecies contained in the Bible in the Book of Mormon, I was shown how the bringing forth of the Nephite record was really about the gathering and the restoration of the House of Israel, not the building of yet another church organization. I began to see how the church organized in 1830 had departed from this purpose and lost its vision. The Gentiles failed to repent and were disobedient. And for this reason, God was unable at this time to bring his church out of the wilderness. And that church of his, contrary to what I'd been taught all of my life, the church of the lamb of God, had never ceased from off the earth. It was simply all those who came unto Christ.

As I learned these things, I felt impressed by the spirit to write a book about it. was called God's Strange Act and it was a love letter to the RLTS people in the hopes of freeing them from their obsession over the failing what they believed to be the one true church with exclusive authority. It was my desire to help them place their hope in Christ, in his kingdom, and the restoration of the house of Israel, which is tied to the new Jerusalem, rather than a failed church organization, or in hopes of a new organization.

When I finished writing the book in 2007, I asked God what I should do with it. the spirit impressed upon me to self-publish and then leave the rest to him that it would find its way into the hands of those who needed it. Having received that answer, I contented myself to follow those instructions. However, just a few moments later, after having gotten that answer, the Holy Spirit spoke again unprompted by any question from me. What the Lord said next was quite unexpected and startling. I'll never forget the words. He said, "There will be a tremendous harvest out of the LDS church." I had just written a book to my people, the RLDS people, the restoration people, to help them sort through their traditions and and better grasp what God had in store for them that we might come into our spiritual destiny. However, I had no clue why God was suddenly speaking to me about LDS people. What could I possibly have to do with that? And so, I wondered if perhaps this book would find its way into the hands of some LDS people and maybe it had an impact. I had no idea. But when he spoke, I sensed his great love for the LDS people, that he wanted to set them free of the bondage of dead religion, even as he sought to free the RLDS people.

On Wednesday, March 18th, 2020, a worldwide pandemic had just broken out and an earthquake shook Salt Lake City and its iconic Mormon temple. Dedicated in 1893, it was the first temple to be topped with a statue of Moroni on its highest spire. The trumpet that represented the proclaiming of the fullness of the gospel was dislodged from the hand of the statue. It snapped in two and fell to the roof below. Ironically, the earthquake struck while the church was having work done to earthquake proof the temple. When the earthquake hit, engineers and laborers working on site were forced to flee the temple site. And when I saw this in the news, I recognized it to be a message from God to the leadership of that church. Earthquakes are one of the ways that God speaks to the spiritually deaf. Indeed, God's fingerprint was found in this shaking in more ways than one. It was officially recorded as a 5.7 magnitude earthquake. The word almighty referring to God is recorded 57 times in 57 verses of the Bible. Interestingly, the Hebrew word Eloha, which is translated as God, is also recorded 57 times in the Old Testament. When I woke to the news of the earthquake and saw what had happened at the temple, I knew it was a proclamation from heaven of biblical proportions. The breaking of the trumpet was a message to the church that it was not teaching the fullness of the gospel, but rather a perversion of it. The times of the Gentiles would be concluded and the church divided. The Lord had also communicated through that earthquake that everything that could be shaken in the LDS church would be shaken and any attempt on the part of its leadership to earthquake proof the organization would fail. The end goal of this shaking would be for God to recover those who are his people, gathering them out of dead religion and dead works and gather them unto himself. As he says in John 10:16, "I have other sheep that are not of the sheepfold. I must bring them also. They too will listen to my voice, and there shall be one flock and one shepherd." I knew that what God had spoken to me in 2007 regarding the great harvest from the LDS church was about to unfold.

The spirit then led me to begin the teacher and Zion podcast on YouTube. The spirit of God moved upon me to share the things that he shared with me and to start including LDS scripture references. The spirit also revealed that as he would begin to bring people out of the institutional church that even as they began to get free of one bondage, Satan would seek to ensnare them in other ways. He outlined for me some of those things which included but were not limited to losing their faith in the Book of Mormon, you know, throwing the baby out with the bathwater or losing their faith in Christ or God altogether to turn to atheism or turn to follow other men and deceivers who claim to be one mighty and strong, a devidic servant or one like unto Moses, etc. or turn to the myriad of false records out there and false prophets that are attached to them or turn to new age teachings. But the purpose of my ministry and teaching is not just to warn people regarding the tactics of the devil and expose false doctrine. It is ill advised to spend too much time focusing on what is wrong. My real intent and purpose in doing what I do is to teach the truth that God has established in the two sacred records that he is making one in his hand to correct our stumbling and place us on the right path. Even so, to speak the truth is by its very nature to confront a lie. And to preach the kingdom of heaven is by its very nature to shake the kingdom of the devil. One cannot turn on a light in a room without vanquishing the darkness.

In summary, I do what I do because I'm led by the Holy Spirit to do it. It is a labor of love that Jesus has given to me. I do it because I very much care about all those who have been trapped in dead religion. I want to see people set free and grow in the love of the Savior. To recognize that it is not the church that saves them, but it is Christ alone. Whether I have always performed this work perfectly or without error is free for debate. I will tell you straight up that I will likely get a few things wrong. I confess that I am prone to error like any man. And while I do my best to question my own assumptions, verify my sources, and seek both confirmation and correction from the Lord. I am only human. So I will point to Christ and ask you to verify everything that I tell you. Ask God and discard anything that you find wrong. It is my hope that once people begin to remove the goggles that are placed over their eyes by the traditions of the institutional church that they can start to see what is actually contained in the pages of these two great witnesses, the Bible and the Book of Mormon. free of the interpretations that are placed there by men and a corrupted religion and in seeing the truth contained within those pages with the help of the Holy Spirit will set them free. As this happens, people will come to understand that the church cannot save them. The only thing of importance is that we must be born again. Jesus Christ, whom the introduction to the Book of Mormon calls the eternal God, the one who gave the law, the one who spoke to Moses out of a burning bush, who is the very God of Israel according to the Book of Mormon, the creator of heaven and earth according to the Bible, is the only way to be saved. He stands at the door that leads to his kingdom. And he employs no servant there. He alone is the way, the truth, and the life. Amen. Until next time, God bless. Heat. Heat.
