All the planets have a retrograde period except for the sun and the moon. And some of the planets have a very, we could say, famous retrograde period, and others not so much.
Um, it's the inner planets that we tend to really take notice of when they go retrograde because they do tend to have a, um, personal effect. They do tend to have a noticeable effect in our life. When we are dealing with, um, the outer planets, we're dealing with very long retrograde periods. The outer planets are retrograde up to half the year, so they spend a lot of time in that state. So it's not, um, as consequential as when the inner planets have a retrograde period.
So when a planet is in retrograde, it is in a state of redo. We are in a state, I should say, of redo. So anything that starts with "re" is a good thing to be doing during any particular retrograde period. So we revisit, we redo, um, we renovate things that require a looping back or a reconsidering.
So let's talk about the retrograde periods of the planets and the particularities of those. Mercury being the most famous. Uh, Mercury is retrograde for about three weeks at a time. Some retrograde periods can be longer and more drawn out, sometimes tedious than others. It's retrograde about three times a year. So we are re-doing, revisiting things having to do with transportation. What have we done? Signed, agreed to before? Revisit, um, projects that may be in motion or old projects, but revisited, revisiting them so we can redo, we can refine, we can edit. A lot of editing in different areas of our life goes on during Mercury retrograde periods.
So retrograde periods are when we're going back to redo or renew or just make better, to refine. And so they don't imply a starting of something new because we're working on what is already in progress or looping back to what's already in progress when we have a retrograde period. So that's why we don't, um, associate retrograde periods with initiation or with new things or with starting out.
So we revisit things having to do with our close relationships, neighbors, uh, um, siblings, friendships that occur in our everyday life. We even revisit our skill set, retool what we already know, edit and refine what we already know during Mercury retrograde periods. There is a lot of tying up of loose ends because Mercury is the little things, the mercurial things. So in going back to, uh, redo or revisit, we clean up during Mercury retrograde periods, clean up what we already have going on.
So, um, this is why we, uh, we don't want to ideally sign new contracts, um, make new deals, buy new things, buy new technology during Mercury retrograde periods because we can find that when Mercury goes direct again, um, some of those purchases, some of those deals that we've made can end up having some issues.
So, um, I'm not sure if it's a correlation or not, if this may just be anecdotal observation, but it does seem that technology companies do like to release their products during Mercury retrograde periods. Um, and I'm not sure if that's, uh, because when things start to move forward again, there's, uh, you're going to have to be updates or, um, uh, services that normally wouldn't be associated with those products. Not really sure. Um, it does seem to be, it's, it's just an interesting observation. I'll have to ask other astrologers if they've seen something similar. So take it with an anecdotal grain of salt for what it, uh, so signing up contracts, agreements, making of deals, buying new things, that is something that we definitely would say definitely ideally want to hold off on.
Sometimes we have to do things that aren't ideal during retrograde periods, and you know, we make the best choice that we can, and we do the best that we can, hope for the best. And maybe it won't be the smoothest ride or the smoothest, um, contract, but it doesn't mean that we're headed for disaster. We may just have to, um, you know, work our way around some snafus that can sometimes come up.
Traveling and transit do tend to be a difficult thing during regular retrograde periods. We do tend to run into more frustrations, more difficulties in getting where we want to go. And there is a looking inward that's encouraged during the Mercury retrograde period. And that we can't get where we want to go as easily and quickly as we normally do, it gives us periods where we have chances to reflect or consider because Mercury is busy, busy, busy, busy, busy bee all the time. And during those retrograde periods, it gives us more of an introverted, uh, action of how transit and things such as that work.
So, uh, um, an example I would be, um, say we are driving to catch a ferry because we have to take the ferry across. Say we live on a little island. Say we're all rich and we live on Vashon Island off the off of Seattle. So we all live on Vashon Island and we have to drive to the ferry to get to the mainland to do the things that we want to do. And we're just about to get to the ferry and oh, it's full and the bridge closes down and we're there for another 45 minutes. So during a Mercury retrograde period, we would just say, "Huh, you know what? I've got this really great book here right next to me. I've got a period of time here where I can just finish this. I can really dig into this." Or I've got this adult coloring book that I've really been wanting to get into. And I know I have to get the ferry once in a while. So of course you're gonna have things to do in the car in case you miss the ferry. There's things like that. Or, um, being on the bus and it takes extra long. It gives us extra time to do our homework. It gives us extra time to read because it's extra time to look out the window and consider and sometimes just to think. So these periods of not being able to be busy really forces some of that energy inwards because we're sitting and spinning for a little while. We're waiting for things to take off or waiting for things to start moving again.
Do you have any questions about that retrograde period? Okay, let's talk about Venus retrograde periods. Oh, Stacey, sorry, I came in a little late. That's okay. We're all adults here. We're allowed to be late. We're allowed to leave early. Okay, okay. So I might have missed the answer, but, um, oh, what's something good about it? I've, um, I've seen in some astrology blogs that it's a good time to remember like past romances and whatnot. Or right. All the past. Yes, yes. Anything that's a "re" - a redo, revisit, redecorate. Um, so it's, it's a good time to re-establish connection, re-establish communication, rather than begin new friendships or, um, new relationships. It's a time of refinement or to, um, yeah, sometimes just be as easy as sending an email saying, "You know, I haven't spoke to you in nine years, but I thought about you today." Oh, so it's a time to get in touch with old friends. Oh, sure. Yeah. Oh, that's fun. That's a lot better than remembering everything that went wrong in your love life. No, Mercury is about renewing all kinds of connections and, uh, re-establishing lines of communication. Wow. There could be really good things that come out of it. And people who have Mercury retrograde in the natal chart do not tend to experience the type of common frustrations that the rest of us do that happen forward in the natal chart. It tends to be something that they find rather familiar. And they won't, like my husband, he has retrograde in Leo. He just does not understand my frustration. He doesn't, he doesn't experience much of the same things because he's kind of always in that mode. So, yeah.
Kate, did you have a question? Yeah, I just wanted to ask, um, you said it's a bad time to sign contracts. Uh, so is it a bad time, say for example, to get married? Not that I am planning to get married, but you know, just out of curiosity, you know, um, or marriage come under more of a Saturn kind of an energy? Um, I haven't seen that getting married under a Mercury retrograde leads to more statistical divorce than not. Right. Okay. So I wouldn't worry about it in the sense that, um, it would render that contract, you know, untenable. Um, long-term contracts like that, I tend to associate with Saturn. Yeah, that's what I was thinking. Yeah, yeah.
Can I tell you a short story? Oh, yes. Yeah. I had, you know, when Mercury, I, I had, uh, my Mars return, a Mercury retrograde over my son. It was like, uh, it was just the end of June there, and I ended up in a taxi. I ended up in a taxi with a senior member of staff going home after the school prom. Not my prom, but the student's prom, because I'm a teacher. And he got out of the taxi and he was going into his apartment. And then the taxi driver was to take me to my apartment. And my phone didn't work. And in China, where I live, you pay for everything on your phone. And I told the guy my, my address, and he could not find my address on his, you know, like he'd search it on his phone, like on his Google, whatever, whatever the equivalent. Couldn't find my address. And they kept saying, because I'd had a couple of drinks, they were like, "Oh, you don't know where you live." I'm like, "Yeah, I do know where I live. This is the road. That's exactly where I live." So the next thing, because this senior member of staff was going to bugger off to his apartment, they called the police. Right. The taxi driver called the police. The police arrive, and they take me and this head of school to the police station at two o'clock in the morning. And of course, now it's, it's Mars is hit. It's my Mars return. And the funny thing is, I wasn't angry, but he was furious. I was thinking, this Mars energy actually doesn't necess, it can, it can happen with somebody around you. This is what I was thinking. Oh, yeah. Oh, sure. But all it was, all down to the Mercury retrograde because my [ __ ] phone wasn't working. It was like everything went wrong when it comes to Mercury retrograde. Miscommunications, lost, and lost in translation, technology not working, cabs. Yeah, exactly. Workers laid in a police station. Yeah. And then, but anyway, anyway, we got to the police station. I told them, I said, "I live on this road." But anyway, they found out where it was and told the taxi guy. And then they said, the taxi driver was taking me home. And then they said, "Oh, but your phone doesn't work, so you won't be able to pay." So then the head of school gave me, gave me like 30 euro. He says, "I'll pay you back." He said, "I don't care. He just wants to go home." But anyway, but what it was, was my phone. It was in low power mode. Do you know what I mean? So it didn't look like it was dead. Like it had light on, but it had gone to low power mode. So when I couldn't pull up my address on my phone, it wouldn't function. But it didn't look like it was dead. It was in a timely zombie state. But when I plugged it in again, it was fine. Oh my god. Such a dream. These are Mercury retrograde things. They're like these little annoyances that add up. They can be one on top of another. Well, it was Mercury retrograde coupled with my Mars return, which also brings aggression. Yes. Oh, it's so funny because he was storming around the police station saying, "She, I shouldn't be here. She just doesn't know where she lives." Now, none of it makes any sense. [Laughter] I'm glad you made it out alive. Yeah. But anyway, that was my Mercury retrograde with Mars return. They don't, you, they pay for everything with their phones there. You can't use. Yeah, yeah. Because I'm in China, we have WeChat, right? We have WeChat, and WeChat has a function that links to your bank card. So literally hardly anyone carries cash. Everybody, you just scan a code. You go to a supermarket to buy a packet of milk, they scan a code on your phone, and it comes straight from your bank account. You don't use, you don't use cards, and you don't use cash. You use your phone. That's pretty efficient. Yeah. So, yeah. But it is efficient as long as you have power. Yeah. If you're caught somewhere and your phone goes dead, it's a bit of a problem. That gets stuck. Very interesting. I think that's really scary. Well, I carry cash now with me as well, wherever I go, especially if I'm going to have a couple of drinks, and a power pack, you know, one of those battery packs. So, yeah. So I have crossed my T's and dotted my I's since that experience. That is how we should end that paragraph when it comes to Mercury retrograde, because that's what we learn is how to cross the T's and dot the I's. Mercury, think about it in its Virgo form as perfection and refinement. So we have these little things go wrong during a new Mercury retrograde periods. We're like, forget to bring our keys, or we'll lock the keys in the car, or we'll forget to close the lock on the the fence and the dog will get out. And so these little things will go wrong that will remember, "Oh no, don't do that again." So it brings a mindfulness to things when things go wrong. So I have to redo during those periods. So, yeah. Uh, are we ready for Venus? Yep. Stacey, did you have another question? Yeah, I'm ex, I'm kind of excited about this new way of looking at Mercury in retrograde that you can go back and do all these things. So there's an exercise routine you used to do. Would it be a good time to start that over again? Yes, absolutely. Absolutely. To revisit something that has already been in progress at some point. Yeah. And old work as well, you know, old manuscripts, have written books, old poems, things like that. Lost touch with. Yes. Yeah. Yes. Reconnection of all kinds. All right. Venus retrograde. You ready for that? Alrighty. Um, so Venus is retrograde around, uh, 40 to 43 days every year and a half, every 18 months or so. So it's not terribly common. It's not terribly uncommon for Venus to be retrograde. And this is where we redo Venus things, we revisit Venus things, redecorate. That is a Venus thing. So we don't start new decoration products, projects. We redecorate. We, uh, remodel as well. Reuniting with people. We hear all the time, "Venus retrograde, someone came back from the past," or "I'm afraid to start this relationship because it began in Venus retrograde." And, um, so there is often a, uh, a rekindling of, um, bonds. And these should not be so much Mercury or mercurial bonds as Venus bonds. So, relationships have to do with money, values, investments, romance, sexual relationships, uh, where we have, um, either our heart or our money invested in it. Those can be the types of people or types of opportunities that can come back from the past. So redoing our portfolio, um, staying away from buying new things and returning things or mending things or, um, like me, who's never returned anything before, this would be the time to return it because we can, it can go easier at that, at those stages of things. Um, partnerships of all kinds, rekindling partnerships. So business partnerships, we would not want to start new partnerships or partnerships that have to do with money or investment. Um, appearances, the, uh, the aesthetics that, um, that we love, how we want to look. Uh, generally making large, um, making permanent changes is not always the most ideal thing to do. You know, such as getting cosmetic surgery, um, elective surgery, the surgeries or procedures that are specific to looks or, um, or elective or superficial things. That's what we, we tend to stay away from. Um, however, if there is something that needs to be redone or revisited, such as if we've got a bad nose job, Venus retrograde might be a good time to have that redone. But having new things, buying new things, new purchases, new modifications, not always advised during Venus retrograde periods. Any questions about that? Um, I have a question, Jewel, because I have, I have Venus retrograde, as you know, in my natal. So what is the significance for somebody like me of it being retrograde and what's the best way to handle it? Um, I have several videos on retrograde planets in the natal. Send those over. You may not have seen those. Um, Venus retrograde is very different in the natal than it is from transiting it. Um, it tends to, well, any personal planet that is retrograde in the natal chart is more internally active than outwardly active. So we're learning how to, uh, express or to mobilize that, uh, that feeling, um, that action. So we tend to have more difficulty in establishing a, uh, an appropriate self-esteem or an appropriate self-love or self-evaluations can be more difficult with Venus retrograde. And a lot of people do feel that they have to work harder to have satisfying romantic connections. So that can be more challenging in general with Venus retrograde in the chart. Um, but I'll send you over that series of videos. They're on my website, but I don't think you may not have seen them. Um, no, I haven't. You know, okay, I'll send those over. There's one specifically on Venus retrograde that might make it a little bit more clear. But any planet that is retrograde in the natal chart is a bit, any personal planet that's retrograde in the natal chart is a bit more of a challenge to us because it does have more of an introverted function. So it's internalized. So we may be super aware of that feeling of that need, but not always have the corresponding outward behavior. So, um, I actually see a lot of romantics, quite a lot of romance writers, and people who have, you know, very creative hearts that have a retrograde Venus. Well, that's what, that's you see. I think probably that's quite true of me because I have the retrograde Venus, but I also have Moon in Leo in the seventh. I'm quite a romantic at heart, you know, but yeah, which means that I can, not as you say, it may not be on the on the surface, you know. So I think, I think at this later stage of my life, I'm, I'm starting to get more chilled and maybe I will overcome all of that. I'm in the process of that. I think, I think you are too. I think you are also in the process. Yeah. Uh, are we ready for Mars? Wondering about some retrograde Mercury then in the natal chart, because you did touch on that, but like, is it, does it give maybe sort of a lack of confidence in communication and sort of like a, um, No, retrograde Mercury is a little bit different. It, it is the introverted Mercury. So think about it, um, as how an introvert thinks as opposed to how an extrovert thinks. Extroverts tend to think after they speak or as they're speaking. Introverts tend to review what they're saying. They tend to run it through and then they'll come out with it. So there's a review process with the introverted wave thinking. We can have people who are introverts without a Mercury retrograde. That's why I know personally how it must feel because I'm an introverted person, but I don't have a Mercury retrograde. Um, but we can have extroverted people as well that have Mercury retrograde. It's just something that is more specific to the way that we think. It doesn't always go to describing the entirety of of the personality. Um, so there's a review process. We tend to really look at it before we speak. For some people, it can be, um, something that can contribute to stuttering. It can contribute to, um, if Mercury is retrograde and it's in a, um, a sign that can be more descriptive of self-consciousness in an area of life, in a house, that can also make us review ourselves more or be more self-conscious. It can contribute to, uh, um, it's a lack of confidence or a lack of, um, I would say the assertiveness to really come out with what it is that we're thinking. But generally, Mercury retrograde, just in itself, if it doesn't have other compounding factors, it's just more of a review before we speak. Um, and, um, and the sign is also something to consider as well, because Mercury retrograde in certain signs can bring a bit more of a, the possibility of mindfulness or of, uh, sort of slowing down and rethinking or reviewing, um, in especially fire signs or air signs. So we can see a more spontaneous kind of behavior. A retrograde Mercury can bring more of a, a mindfulness to that particular style. But I look at it as just more of an introverted style of thinking. Okay, that's interesting. I, I'll just say quickly that my mom has some, like, you know, obviously this is just one person who has it, but she has a retrograde in Aries. And I'm trying to think about it, you know, um, maybe this isn't just Mercury, but maybe it gives like more of a contemplative nature to the thinking processes. And also she's very, like, self-conscious about just saying things, like kind of just being a loose cannon verbally and just like saying whatever comes into her head. Uh, yeah, contemplative is a very good word. I think that is, uh, probably the best word to just to describe it. It does lend that ability. Okay, thanks. Stacey, yeah. Uh, Mercury and retrograde question. Um, you know, a lot of times when I think about Mercury in retrograde, I think of like third house affairs, but is it good to also think about the affairs of the sixth house? Like, hey, I used to make tea every day. Maybe I should get back into that? Or, yeah, because Mercury represents both areas of life. Yeah. A good time to revisit your old good habits of the sixth house is in. Oh, definitely. Yes, to renew our, um, yeah, uh, uh, old routines, old habits, um, yeah, sometimes get in contact with our, uh, our old dreams, our old plans. And if we have made plans that we haven't yet kept, that would be something that we would want to do. Or drawn up blueprints that we just haven't gotten a chance to live out. That's the time to do it. I have such an exciting view of Mercury in retrograde right now. I'm so happy. It's actually a good period. I think a lot of people dread it. And I, I can really have a hard time with it myself because I don't always listen until I start to have issues, until I start to have little things go wrong, and then I'll, I'll be reminded, "Oh, okay, it's a case of the Mercuries." And I'll start to slow down. I'll spend more time in my garden because I know that if I just keep going at my normal pace, that isn't going to work anyway because I'm going to have to go back and redo, or things just, uh, just aren't gonna work work out for me. So if I'm at my normal pace, I'll do little things like, I'll go out to fill up the horse trough and I'll forget to turn off the hose and the trough will run over. You know, remember an hour later. But if I'm being mindful during Mercury retrograde periods, I would definitely remember to turn off the hose and probably stand there and watch the trough fill up instead of use that time to rush around and do other things. So we really slow down and, yeah, contemplate. Yeah, I remember one, I had a really rough retrograde where like, like you were saying, thing upon thing goes wrong. And I remember one of those things was, oh, a form wasn't filled out right. You've got to refill it. And now we're going to give you your page check a month from now. Oh, perfect. Yes, these little things that, uh, yeah, we often even don't notice at the time that it's going wrong. Okay, um, can I just ask, does it, does it, does a planet going retrograde affect somebody more or less depending on how that planet is in their natal chart? So, for example, I would have Mercury conjunct my descendant. Would it, so would it affect me in a different way or stronger way because it's quite kind of strongly aspected in my chart, if you know what I mean? No, not, uh, not that I'm aware of, um, other than, um, it being, it's cute kitty, other than it being retrograde would just be more comfortable in general there. But can still things be things that can go wrong? We can still experience that call to slow down. But the pace is, and it would also depend on if Mercury is like stationary retrograde, stationary direct, stationary, stationary. Um, I don't think it's, I don't think it's retrograde in my chart. No, I don't know. It's not retrograde. No, okay, okay. I was thinking that that you had said it was. No, no, no, no. Venus. Yeah. No, no. I was just thinking that the Mercury being, you know, if it's strongly aspected in your chart, like conjunct the descendant, as it would be in my case, or I suppose it depends where the, where the transiting, sorry, the retrograde Mercury is hitting, you know, in terms of your planets in Italy, then they'll make sure you differently then. But if, but if it's like part, like if a planet is a feature, is strongly in your chart, does a retrograde of that planet affect you more profoundly? Ah, how to answer that. I think if it was Mercury, yes, absolutely. Uh, yes, because we're used to being a busy bee and we can't do that as easily. We have Mercury retrograde periods beyond that, possibly. But I have not seen a large amount of evidence or am not aware of a large amount of evidence that it that that would be true. So, um, I, I can say Mercury, yes, I know that for sure. Um, Venus or Mars retrograde in the chart. Mars retrograde. See, I haven't seen a lot of body of evidence, but I, I could intuitively say that that would create more of a, a climate of frustration that would contribute to an already retrograde natal Mars. That would be my idea about that. Yeah. No, I'm not asking about is it if it's retrograde in your chart, does a retrograde planet cause more? I'm just saying if the planet is, if it is strongly aspected in some way, do you know what I mean? Other than with Mercury, I don't think so. Um, it's just one. I mean, you said the outer planets retrogrades don't, uh, you don't think the effect is as personal. But I'm, and one of the things I've observed, for example, would be, you know, um, I know somebody's got Sun opposite Saturn. And when Saturn, when Saturn went retrograde around that time, they made a very poor decision about career and ended up more or less getting having to change job because of that. They'd have run in with somebody in authority around that time, and then they had to change job when they didn't intend to change job. You know, I, I've observed, I've observed people sort of either go forward or backward in relationships depending on Pluto, um, you know, whether it's going retrograde. If it turns retrograde, I just, one of the things I've observed myself is just, um, if, if one of those bigger planets is changing, you know, from being direct to going retrograde or the reverse, I find those moments when it changes is actually can be quite pivotal for some. Yes, absolutely. That when the outer planets really show up in their transits is when, yes, they're stationing, stationing forward, stationing retrograde. That's when things really heat up. So that, that's when we tend to see things happen more also in society, the goings on, uh, in society and in our own charts. Those are the times that we're likely to notice those outer planet transits the most. Okay, so when, when they're changing? Okay, yes. When they're changing direction, absolutely. And you'll hear that a lot in, uh, transit descriptions of, you know, what's what's happening, uh, just in the sky for all of us. Uh, you'll hear them mention, you know, Pluto is stationary direct today, or stationary retrograde, because it does make a difference. Right. Okay. Oh, are we ready for Mars? Yeah. Alrighty. Mars is retrograde around 50, what did I say? 58 days to 81, or every 82 days, every two years. So every couple of years, Mars will go retrograde. And it is a longer period of time that he will be retrograde. So this is how when we re-examine, redo, uh, re-strategize, uh, around things regarding our anger, our assertiveness, our sexuality, how we get things, our passions. So we can experience more frustrations and frustrating people, people who seem to be triggering us, working against us during Mars retrograde periods. And if we have an outer planet transit to our Mars and then Mars goes retrograde, that could be something that can add fuel to the fire. That can put something that can put pressure on some a Mars transit that we're already having. So, this is not a great time to have surgeries during Mars retrograde periods. We associate Mars with cutting and bleeding. Um, so ideally, and sometimes we'll have to have a procedure during Mars retrograde, and you know, we'll just do the best that we can with what we've got, but it's not the ideal time to plan something like that. Um, conflicts are a big thing with Mars retrograde. This is the time to revisit old conflicts. This is the time to resolve. I, so we can make amends during Mars retrogrades. We can, um, extend ourselves. Uh, so we may feel that the world wants to fight with us more, or that the people around us are more aggressive during Mars retrograde period. So we have to exhibit more self-control during these periods of time. But this is time, these are times for resolution and for resolving hanging, hanging issues that can result, that that can circle around anger. Do you have any questions about that Mars retrograde? So if people are still angry with each other, is it a good time, like to rehash things? Like what if you don't want to resolve it? You know, not like bury the hatchet, but I'm still mad. Is that a good time during? Well, it is about resolving. So if we want to, uh, then this would be an optimal time. But it may be something that, um, we aren't ready to do. So Mars retrograde periods don't, uh, force that upon us. Um, you know, maybe it's, it's a wound that we want to nurse for a while. Yeah, I guess, you know, if you're revisiting anger, you don't even necessarily need to take it up with the person. It could be just remembering that something. Oh, sure. Yeah. Yeah. Sometimes the person that we're angry with isn't even around anymore. So revisiting it in whichever way we happen to. So I think that we can mature during Mars retrograde periods because Mars itself is the, the most immature planet. It's, it's the first planet of the zodiac that really represents the, the birth stage and the, the young, uh, uh, the toddler stage of life. And that's when we're really ruled by our emotions and the id and the, the primal ego. And so I think that we have opportunities to mature, to apologize, and sometimes to, um, to grow beyond old, old issues or old conflicts. So, yes, interesting periods. Is it a bad time to go after what you want if it is something new or something that requires a great deal of passion or initiative or energy? Sometimes that's not the best time during a Mars retrograde because, um, our energy is more turned inward rather than focused on initiation. And Mars is responsible for that. It's the, you know, what turns our engine on. And it's more like our engine is in reverse for a while. So it's not the most optimal time for moving forward with things. But it is a great time for, um, getting things in order so that when we do have that forward movement of Mars, we can really take off. Our wheels can just burn out and we can really go, go, go. So we can, yeah, sharpening your blade. That's what it is. Getting, getting things prepared. But, um, not so much about really taking off during those periods of time. Any other questions about that? Okay. Uh, let's have a question. Uh, Nazarene has a question. Are all the retrograde plans about preparation? No, they're more about redoing, revisiting, um, resolving. Anything that begins with a "re" is a good thing to be doing during any retrograde period. Reforming, redecorating, redoing. So, sorry, recalibrating. Yes, absolutely. That's a good one. So those are all natural activities to do. And it's the "re" according to whatever planet that happens to be retrograde. So, um, so I think we're gonna have to wrap it up there for tonight. Uh, let's come back next week and we'll talk about the outer planets in retrograde. Um, it might not take quite as long, but we'll see. Um, that's a pretty fun topic as well. So, uh, Jeanette, a retrograde transiting planets more important than not? No, I wouldn't say that they are more important, um, or less important. They're just showing a period of time where, um, we have a different type of activity that's occurring. So, um, we're going to talk about this next week quite a bit about how the outer planets are when they're retrograde are really responsible for the times of the action associated with that planet turning inward, of considering, of building, of, um, sometimes feeling like we're spinning. And then once that planet goes forward again, then we have action related to that planet. So look at it like, um, uh, like, uh, doing and then redoing. Doing and then redoing. So the planet goes outward, it's like a wave. So the wave goes out, and then when it's retrograde, the wave comes back in. So there's this motion. It's like an infinity loop. The motion of the infinity loop. So then after the retrograde period, when we have considered what has happened, we have digested what has happened, we have, uh, we've slept on what's happened, then we move forward again, and we have more happening. We have more action. Then we have the retrograde, retrograde again. That's when we process it, we consider it, we think about it, we digest it. Then the wave goes back out, and then we have more action. So, next week, we'll talk about that about how some of the different, uh, actions, reactions are related to those outer planets, the retrograde and forward periods. I think are just as important as each other. Like you can't, uh, you can't say the motion of the wave coming in or going out is more or less important. And Jewel, it, it reminds me, it reminds me of the Chinese Yin and Yang. You could say it's the Yin and Yang of the planet, really. Oh, absolutely.
