How Ghostwriters Are Actually Landing Clients in 2025

I run the largest training program for Ghost Riders on the internet. So if you want to know how Ghost Riders are actually landing clients in 2025, I can tell you.

And before you click away because you're thinking, okay, yeah, sure, but that doesn't work for my niche, here are some of the weirdest niches we've seen Ghost Riders land clients in: poker coaches, maritime sass (like for boats), equestrian slors, ranching, Clifton strength coaches (I don't even know what that is), construction, AI, college sports, Mason (very off-onard), woodworking and CNC machines, Material Handling, and applied behavioral scientists.

Super cool. If you think you can't start ghost riding or land ghost riding clients in your niche, that is factually incorrect. If you're open to learning how to get started and how other people just like you are landing ghost riding clients, paying them thousands of dollars every single month, then here you go. Here is what they're selling, how much they're charging, and how they're finding these clients.

But first, a quick crash course on who needs a Ghost Rider. Every business on earth needs help with three things: first, they need help with traffic—so getting customers to know they exist; second, they need help with opt-ins—so turning attention (traffic) into email subscribers so that the business can contact those customers directly; right; and third is conversions—so converting all those free email subscribers into paying customers.

There is not a single business on Earth that would not benefit from more traffic, more opt-ins, and more conversions. This is why I say every single business needs a Ghost Rider, because the big three ghost writing services that I encourage every writer to provide are specifically designed to solve the three things every business on earth needs help with.

Traffic: You need a social Ghost Writer, so you can help businesses generate organic traffic by ghost writing their social content. Opt-ins: You need an educational email course Ghost Writer. Right, you can help businesses increase their email opt-in rate by 20%, 30%, even upwards of 50% by building a really valuable free educational email course for their target customer. And then third, conversions: So you need a Weekly Newsletter ghost writer, and you can help businesses convert more free email subscribers into paying customers just by sending more emails.

And if you don't believe me, we've done over $15 million in total revenue, and a few months ago we did this whole internal audit looking at how many free emails we had to send before someone eventually became a customer, and it wasn't one email, it wasn't two emails, it was upwards of 20 emails. All of our data shows us: if you want to make more money, you have to send more emails. And you could help—as the ghost writer—you could help every business do this. And I promise the vast majority of them, they suck at social content, they suck at creating high-value opt-ins, and they really suck at email, which means endless opportunities for you.

Just copy what these Ghost Riders are doing, because it's clearly working for them.

Ghost Writer number one: Lorenzo. What he's selling: Educational email course ghost writing. How much he's charging: He's charging $5,000 one-time fee to build this educational email course. How he's finding clients: Cold outreach on X. Lorenzo's actually been in our premium ghost riding Academy for a while now, and this was his first ghost writing client. So he cold-pitched someone on building an educational email course for them; they said yes; he made five grand. Since then, he's actually pivoted more into social ghost writing, focusing on the traffic side instead, and he's crushing it there. But this is a great example of just getting started, getting your foot in the door, picking a service, and then deciding which of the big three services you really want to specialize in long term. So do you want to do social ghost writing to drive traffic? Do you want to do educational email course ghost writing to drive opt-ins? Or do you want to do Weekly Newsletter ghost writing to drive conversions? You could specialize in all three eventually if you want, but I would really encourage you to just pick one and get started there.

Ghost Writer number two: Khed. What he's selling: Social media ghost writing and educational email course ghost writing. How much he's charging: He's charging $5,000 one-time fee for an educational email course and then $3,000 per month for social media ghost writing. How he's finding clients: Cold outreach on LinkedIn and X. Now I want to be transparent: Khed is definitely an outlier; he's been a huge success story from our ghost riding program, considering he got his ghost riding side hustle up to $116,000 per month while still working a full-time job. Okay, we don't promise that outcome, and not very many people achieve that, but it just goes to show what you can accomplish when you really put your mind to something. And fun fact, just so you understand: before joining our premium Ghost Writing Academy, Khed had never written a single thing on the internet before—literally complete beginner to $116,000 side hustle per month in a year.

Ghost Writer number three: Kelsey. What she's selling: Educational email course ghost writing. How much she's charging: $5,000 one-time fee to build an EEC. How she's finding clients: Paid outreach on LinkedIn. Kelsey actually just hit her first $10,000 in a month, which was awesome to see. And now I've actually been working with Kelsey on upselling her educational email course clients on weekly newsletters, because once a client has a really valuable opt-in and more people are joining their email list, what do they need? They need a Weekly Newsletter. So this is a great upsell.

Ghost Writer number four: Matthew. What's he selling: Educational email course ghost writing. How much is he charging: $5,000 one-time fee to build the educational email course. How is he finding clients: Cold outreach on LinkedIn. Matthew is another outlier, massive success story out of our program. He started out by landing a bunch of educational email course clients, and he started by charging $5,000 per email course, then $6,000, then $7,000. Then, once his foot was in the door, he started upselling clients on social media ghost writing, started at $3,000 per month, then $4,000 per month, then $5,000 per month. And now, a year after working together and helping him refine his ghost writing offer, he's scaled these two services—social ghost writing and email course ghost writing—into a full-blown agency that does over $50,000 per month just by providing those two services. That's it. He has a couple writers now; he has an account manager, which means all he has to focus on is maintaining the quality of the work and continuing to find new clients. It's actually been really, really, really cool to watch him go from being a complete ghost writing beginner to scaling into a multi-six-figure ghost writing agency.

Here's a bunch more Ghost Riders. Right, I could go on and on, but this is how Ghost Riders are actually landing clients in 2025: they're helping businesses solve one of these big three problems in their business. If they need help generating traffic, you should offer them social media ghost writing. If they need to increase their opt-in rate, you should offer to build them an educational email course to attract their target customer. And if they need help converting free email subscribers into paying customers, you should offer to run their Weekly Newsletter ghost writing. And providing one, or two, or all three of these services is your fastest path to making 10 grand per month as a writer in 2025. [Music]
