Since this show began, more than 20,000 of you have joined us here for the live eviction. [Applause] Last night, more than 2.6 million of you joined us to watch this show on television. But after tonight, there will be no more waiting and no more watching, because this is the end. This is the ultimate eviction, and this is when you decide who is to be evicted and who is to remain in the house for that extra moment as the winner. Who will it be? Ben or Blair? Look what we've done here. Oh, look! We were worried yesterday because Blair's bath didn't have a Blair in there. But now we've got Blair. Look at Blair. He's a pantyhose with a bit of art line drawn on him. Well done. And who have we got here? We've got the two. Where are we? If you've got enough knots, gee, don't those knots sit well on your chest? Yes, it has been entertainment and experiment and addiction, but it's also always been a game, and there has always been the prize of $250,000 waiting at the finish line. Last night's eviction was unbelievably close. Sarah Marie was evicted by a margin of only 1,300 votes. Who will you vote out tonight? Who will remain as the winner? Well, it's a mess of sweaty palms and dry mouths over here. Let's see how the objects of their affection, and of course ours, are coping with final night nerves. We are going to cross live to the house now, and as you know, I was just about to tell him to be quiet. I was going to pretend there was nobody here. Thanks a lot, guys. How you going? These two have sat in there over the past 24 hours knowing the odds. They have a 50-50 chance of winning the quarter of a million dollars and a 50-50 chance of not winning. What is Australia's idea of leaving the two biggest in the house that I don't get it myself for certain would be one of us. Nothing short on that, purely because we're just such a bit like two girls are gone last two weeks, man. What have we done? Oh my god, what have we done? He's, he's a great mate of mine and will be good mates ever after this. So it's, it feels funny. So even if I didn't, if I didn't win, it would be great for someone like Blair to do it. It'll be, yeah, I'll be stoked because it's someone who I really care about and someone I genuinely like. Makes you wonder where did they choose? How could they choose the people? I haven't had, I've had two weekends free out of two and a half months, and everything else has been really, really crazy, flying all over the country, and it's been fantastic. Has it? Yeah, fantastic. What about you, Shana? Well, I like the fact that now I'm back at work, no one seems to ring the call bell quite as much, because you, of course, work for airlines, don't you? What do you think? People are a little afraid of the service they might get? Get scared? Now, who was the next one out? Was that you, Todd? Hey, what have your highlights been? I'd have to say tonight. Tonight is probably the biggest highlight I've had so far. I think this has been amazing. And by the way, your band dropped last night. Very good. It was all for you. I mean, I've been to nightclubs where people have had their hair shaved like me, and all sorts of just absolute madness. Most, uh, some, actually a lot of people have recognized me, but usually they say, have we met before? I had someone ask me if I was from Wollongong the other day. Yeah, yeah, the Gong. So that's been kind of nice because nobody knows where I'm from. They all think they went to school with you. Yeah, fair enough. What about you, Anita? What do you want to? I want to know how have the weeks been since you came out of that? It's been great. It's been fantastic. The last month has been just this huge roller coaster ride, but this is the best night ever. Now, who was that? That was new. Next was it, like? What was next? How was your time being? Um, it's been wicked. I've had an absolute ball, but I'd actually have to say dinner. I mean, tonight rocks. It really does. It's pretty wild seeing you all together again. I have to say. Now, Pete, were you next? Yeah, I think I was. [Applause] How was your time, Ben? The best part of things, actually. I've seen more of Australia in the last three or four weeks than I have in my whole life, and everyone's been so nice. Australia's from Western Australia to Queensland, Victoria, everywhere. Everyone's been fantastic. Good to hear. And then who came next? I think it was me. Now, how's fame suiting you, Johnny? It's been great. I mean, um, I get stopped in airports, and I'll be walking down the street, and people constantly stop me, but most important, an audience like this is just fantastic. Thank you. Yeah, I'd have to say I really didn't think I'd be recognized, and I got mobbed at Sydney Airport the other day by about 50 people wanting to get their photo with me, so that was a big shock, but it's been great. And then, of course, Sarah Marie. My god, I'm going to come back to you later because you can't talk at the moment. All of Australia has a lot of memories tied up with your very familiar faces. These faces over here have really caught our hearts. So let's flashback to those early crowded days of shower shoes and backyard volleyball. Wow, for giving. I think the highlight of it is, um, the other day in Perth, we gave Channel 10 and I gave a Sony PlayStation to a little boy who's only got a couple of months to live. He has a hole in his heart, and I spent quite a bit of time with him the other day, and that by that has stuck out in my mind as being the most special thing that's happened. Well, after the break, we'll bounce along the emotional golf buggy journey from six housemates to two. Now, this is Big Brother Live. The pressure is building, and so are the votes. What has, what have you done? Well, you haven't slept. No. You partied last night? Yes. [Applause] And then what did you do today? I've had interviews all day today. And what's it like seeing everybody? I can't believe it. And I have to say that considering how many of you relentlessly nominated this very annoying, noisy person, it must be a miracle to you to see how far she came in the house. I guess we just didn't have to share a bedroom with you and those fish fingers clanking around. Now, who else has you had a funny experience at the airport, didn't you, Christina? Well, you get a lot of people coming up to you because they assume that because they know you so well, that they can tell you anything. And this girl just came to me, Christina, I was like, [Laughter] you're not one of the bridesmaids, are you? I might be now. What about you, Johnny? You had an interesting experience a couple of weeks ago. Yeah, I was doing something, uh, recently. A boy was, um, he was in a coma, and he just came out of a coma, and we were just raising some money to help him out, and I got a Tic Tac put in the bottom of my shoe, and I had about 20 girls trying to find this Tic Tac, so I was mobbed by all these women, which was kind of nice. Johnny, that is so cruel. It wasn't nearly as nice as being mobbed by boys, was it? Now, Todd, you've, you've done something for charity as well. Yeah, we've, Bianca and I both were shaking the tins and doing some, uh, radio work, charity work for Here for Life down in Melbourne, prevention of teenage suicide, which was the charity. I gave the master 70,000 in two days. Oh, so yeah, it was mind-blowing. Yeah, it's been great. All right, let's do a run-round. I just want one word to describe how we think the boys are feeling in the house at the moment. Who's got a word that comes to mind? Todd. Okay, so that's a sound. Let's have a look at them. Are they on the screen now? There they are. They are quietly going mad. Anyone got another word to describe Gordy? What do you reckon? I'd say they're pretty stressed at the moment. Oh, yeah. I see photos of you guys at different functions and different occasions. How often do you keep in touch? Are you all one happy family? Pretty much. We are. We, I catch up with most of the guys. Um, Pete's up in Sydney, so I've seen him at a couple of photo shoots, and Gemma, we do actually regularly try and catch up with each other just to say hi. To the States too. I mean, Gordy and I live pretty close together, so we're always looking up all the time. And now that Gemma's out, I see Shauna and Lisa, you know, reasonably often. So we're surprisingly good friends. Fantastic. [Laughter] Now, halfway through our time in the Big Brother house, things started to get very relaxed. It looked like we were settling in for a long stretch of watching these guys sunbaking and lounge slopping, but Big Brother had different ideas. He had mischief in mind, and it all began with an innocent knock on the diary room door. [Music] Voted for Rachel, Peter, Lisa, Johnny, Gemma. Vote Rachel. Rachel, it's time to leave the house. Thank God. You want a Christmas card. And Lisa, why Lisa? Although Lisa's starting to come out of her shell a bit more, she's still a bit of a defense sitter. I find you a really intriguing individual, but I think you bulldoze people. [Applause] When you can, Peter. Peter, Pete, to Peter. So it's absolutely amazing. When you're hugging Ben tonight, did you feel in a way that you actually shared the prize simply because you enjoyed the entire experience together with Ben? And I, it has never been about the prize. Ben, give him a scream. Go on, give him a. [Applause] Scream. [Applause] No, he, um, there's no doubt in the world that he's my best mate. He's an absolute legend of a guy, and you will not meet a nicer person in your whole life. So grab it while you can. And what about you? A lot of people fell in love with you. I don't know. A lot of girls love the fact that you said sorry to Gemma, that you burst into tears, said you really know how to throw a basketball, you can do that Tiger Woods thing with the golf club. I don't know that there's a career in it, but it's pretty cool. Self-satisfying. Yeah. Was today the worst day of your life? Sorry, was today the worst day of your life? Um, actually, no. Yesterday was the worst day of my life. Um, yesterday was a lot more uncertainty, like one person was going to leave. Um, we didn't know who it was. Today, we knew we're coming home and we're going to see those people who are absolutely legends. And you saw your brother over there, who's flown especially out from America. And we know all of your family possibly better than you do now. They've been up here. Your mum's a bit of a party animal. Oh, listen, she goes all right, doesn't she? Big Kathleen. Hey? Now, one of the special relationships that developed in the house, which surprised you as well, and you've mentioned it before with your fabulous shirt, was of course your relationship with Johnny. [Applause] Now, although it was typically male and a little juvenile, understandably, what was the essence of it? Um, I've said it before, I'm not sure if you've seen it. Um, Johnny, I went into the house to learn how to grow up, I think, and Johnny taught me how to be proud of myself and to know that all you've got to do is know yourself, and who cares what else thinks. And he's, yeah, I've, no, I'm lost for words. Johnny is just an absolute legend, legend, legend, and, um, yeah, it was, it was very, it's an, it's a different relationship because Johnny actually learned something from me and from, and I don't know exactly yet what it is, but he said he did, and, and I appreciate that I could give something out as not only just take something from me. What do you reckon girls are like? Girls are lovely. No, listen, I, I'm used to growing up with our three big brutes, like those are over there, and it takes a little bit more to get under their skin than what it does the old fragile girls over there. Um, I think half the nation has taken offense to the word fragile. I know, just a couple, just a couple. And don't know it. Yeah. Oh, yeah. Good fun, eh? Has it put you off girls forever? You think you'll be all right? Oh, look, you know, I think I'll get over pretty quickly. Well, you obviously enjoyed the blokiness of being in there. Oh, why not? Yeah, you did. You don't have to be delicate anymore. No, God, no. No. Um, no, solitary. I just like having more space. I get, I'm a bit moody, as you may have already seen, and I like getting out and just being by myself. But the company of these people is second to none, so I wouldn't swap that for anything in the world. So when you said, when you said that, um, you wanted to grow up a bit, it's a strange thing for someone. How long were you when you went into the house? 19. Yes. Why did you suddenly feel an urgency to grow up? Um, go Heidelberg. Um, being the youngest of four boys, uh, you're gonna love this, Mum. Um, you, you unfortunately, you get compared, and being the youngest, I've always felt I had to be the same as Ryan, the one above me, and be at his level all the time, even though I'm three years younger. And I just thought, you know, it's time for me to take action by myself, even if it is mentally, but just to grow up and to know that there's time and place for everything, and when to pick that time and place, not to be so in one of these things. Well, you know, they always say that the youngest one in the family is the attention seeker, but I think this is a bit extreme myself. Let's have a look at the quiet times that you took to try and escape from the gaggle that was in the house. Some mornings you get up, cruise outside, you're in a fully interactive space. You will not talk until 11 AM. I'd go to a beach. There's no one else around. By myself, I'd drink probably spring. Say I'm fine. I'll speak to when I actually do get out. I'd go there and just film myself the whole day. Come back with one day's newspaper. You know, it struck many of us that it might have been difficult for you in the house when I saw you do, when we saw you do your weather report, because it was the one task you had where you were allowed to go off and do your own thing instead of having to perform as a team member and a group, which is what living in the house is all about. Because it's like Blair and I got to spend the day together, and he's made my three months. He's made me. He's made me. Yeah. The first time you met Blair, did you think, we're going to be good mates, or, geez, he gets under my skin? First, first night, you don't really, you, you can't. It was hard to make judgments on people on that, but the more I spoke to him, and in the next day, we were just like best mates, just right from the start. Like on Sunday night when we got to see you and you heard people in the background, I just thought, oh my god, how, why would people want to watch 14 idiots like us? But I'm glad they have, and that's that's their show more than ours. They've made the show. So why did you go into the house? Um, originally, I went into the house for a challenge, just to see if, for the experience. You don't get many more bizarre challenges than that, do you? And to, to do something like that, it's a once in a lifetime opportunity. And if there is a Big Brother two, all of you, please try out. Was there ever a time where you thought, this is too hard, I want to leave this house? No, you'd have moments when you think, oh god, you know, it's, I could be out there doing whatever, but I knew the second I'd leave that, leave the house, and you'd all be over. So I just tried to live it as much as I could. Was it a difficult adventure? If you had to choose one word, would it be a positive word or a negative one? Positive, times a million. Really unbelievable. Unbelievable. Did you wake up in the morning and feel happy, or like you had a difficult task ahead? No, very rarely. You thought that because normally I'd get up at about three o'clock in the afternoon, in the afternoon, and, yeah, it was quite funny. And the other night, we were playing a game of ulga booger, and the next morning I was just, couldn't believe it. I was a little bit hungover, bit messy, and that happened. Just a miracle. Yeah. I know some people have come out of the house and felt that different personalities in there squished their personality and contorted it into something they felt wasn't natural. Did you experience that? Um, not really. It's, it is a very unnatural experience being in there, but, and I think every single person was just being themselves, and they were unbelievable, really. At the start, I thought I'd go into the house, and there'd be people who I'd clash with, and just they'd put opposites to me, and although people, we had opposite personalities, you couldn't have put me with 13 better people. Well, you know, they loved you too. And one of the things, every single time somebody came out of the house, we'd ask them, who was the funniest person in the house? And without fail, it was you. Let's have a look at their comments, shall we? Okay, let's have a look. It was the funniest person, definitely funniest person in the house. I would have to give it to Ben. Funniest damn Ben. He was always making jokes, and he was always ready to have a laugh. Never took anything seriously, and he also had a lot of interesting things to say, you know. It wasn't so. Now, the last couple of weeks were interesting, in particular the last week, because we had the three musketeers stuck in that house, didn't we? Dumb and Dumber, the three of us. And you left out Dumbest. Yeah, yeah. What was that like? There was a very interesting bond that developed between the three of you. It was strange. Yeah, it's hard to describe. Like, Blair and I hit it off from day one, or virtually day one, and Sarah Marie, I love her to pieces. [Applause] When did you realize that you love Sarah Marie? Because we know that she, oh, she can get it, but that's that's a persona. You can't not love her, no matter what she does. You can boil, but you cannot not love her. Is it a time of hyper-emotionalism, do you think, when you're locked in a cage, even if it is beautifully furnished? I would have thought it would have been the opposite, but it's, it's because of these people, like they are unbelievable, and I can't say that enough. They are the best people I've ever met. Well, I know, Gemma, when you came out of the house, where are you? You were saying that it made you appreciate the things that were important to you outside the house. It does, very much so. I think I learned the biggest lesson of my life in that place, and, um, I think it's something that would have taken me till I was 50 to learn otherwise, that is just to appreciate everybody, never take anything for granted, and I think it makes you a much, much stronger person.
