This is a demonstration of the Exper Smart Wall, an add-on product tightly integrated into the Smart Client. The Smart Wall is a great tool to provide a complete installation overview to operators working in response centers and control rooms.
To assist operators in their daily work, the Smart Wall offers different ways of helping them focus on the most crucial matters. Let me give you an example. Let's pull up Monitor 2 for demonstration purposes. You will need to imagine that this floating window is the Smart Wall running on a different monitor.
One of the many great things about the Smart Wall is the rule control, which triggers the Smart Wall to automatically display certain content based on a specific event occurring in the system. In this example, the rule is configured to change the monitor's layout if a person pushes the panic button. This shift of the Smart Wall's display automatically draws the operator's attention to the monitor.
Alarm instructions can also be embedded in the layout to ensure that the operator knows how to handle the alarm. To handle incidents efficiently and collaboratively, operators can at any time change the Smart Wall display. This can be done by sending other content to it, such as HTML pages, still images, maps, or a new view item.
