Father, we come before you today in the mighty name of Jesus. The name that is above every name. The name that causes demons to tremble. The name that opens doors and causes the heavens to be unlocked in our lives.
We thank you for the power of your word and for the blood of Jesus Christ which has already secured our victory. We stand before you today, not in our own strength, but in the strength that you provide through Christ. We thank you, Father, for your word that cannot fail. For your promises that are yes and amen in Christ, we believe that as we speak your word today, faith will rise up in our hearts and in the hearts of all who are listening.
Holy Spirit, we welcome you to guide us to bring revelation and understanding as we dig into your word. Open our eyes, Lord, that we may see the truth of what you've already done for us. We trust you, Father, to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think in Jesus mighty name. We give you all the glory and all the praise. Amen.
Introduction to the power of declaration. Let's get right into it. Beloved, today we're talking about something that is essential to walking in victory as a believer. The power of declaration. This is not a suggestion. This is a command. We are to speak faith, to declare the promises of God, and to walk in the authority that he has already given us in Christ.
You know, as I've traveled around the world, I've seen it time and again, people who are struggling, people who are defeated, people who are living in the bondage of fear and lack. And do you know why? It's because they are not walking in the power of their words. They are not speaking the word of God over their lives, over their families, over their situations. And that, my friends, is the key to the victory that God has already promised to us.
In Romans 10:17, the Bible says, "So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." You know, we hear this scripture often, but I want you to get a fresh revelation of it today. Faith doesn't come just by hearing anything. It comes by hearing the word of God. And faith when it's in your heart has to be spoken out of your mouth. That's how you release the power of faith. You see, faith is like a seed. It's planted in your heart, but it doesn't do anything until you release it through your words. And just like a seed planted in the ground grows and produces fruit, faith grows in your heart when you speak it out.
In Mark 11:23, Jesus says something powerful. He says, "For verily I say unto you, that whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea, and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass. He shall have whatsoever he saith." You see, it's not enough just to believe. You have to speak, and you have to speak with authority. Jesus said, "Whosoever shall say." He didn't say, "Whosoever shall think or whosoever shall hope or whosoever shall pray." No, he said, "Say." There's power in your words, my friends. There's power in what you declare. And it's time for the church of the living God to rise up and start declaring what God says about us instead of agreeing with the devil about our situations.
Now, some people might say, "Well, that sounds a little extreme, Brother Hagen." But I'm here to tell you that if you want to live in victory, you have to start speaking victory. You can't talk defeat and expect to live in victory. You can't talk lack and expect abundance. You can't talk sickness and expect healing. It just doesn't work that way. I'll tell you right now, God has already made provision for your victory. It's already been provided for you through the finished work of Jesus Christ. But you have to take hold of it by faith. And that's where declarations come in.
Let's look at what the word says in Proverbs 18:21. "Death and life are in the power of the tongue. And they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof." What does that mean? It means that the words you speak will determine the direction of your life. You're either speaking life or you're speaking death. You're either speaking blessing or you're speaking cursing. But you have to decide. Your words are powerful. They're not just words. They're containers of power. They either carry life or they carry death. And when you begin to speak God's word, you're speaking life over your situation. You're speaking blessing into your finances, into your health, into your family, and into your future.
In Matthew 12:37, Jesus says, "For by thy words, thou shalt be justified, and by thy words, thou shalt be condemned." Now, notice what Jesus said. "By your words, you will either be justified or condemned." Your words have power and your words have consequences. If you want to walk in the victory that God has promised you, you have to align your words with his word. Don't speak the problem, speak the answer. Don't speak defeat, speak victory. Speak what God has already said about you. Speak the promises of God over your life every single day, and you will see your faith grow and your victory manifest.
Let's break it down for a moment. You know, sometimes we get caught up in speaking about our problems. We talk about the mountain. We talk about the lack. We talk about the sickness. And we wonder why nothing changes. Well, I've got news for you. If you keep talking about the mountain, the mountain will never move. But if you begin to speak to the mountain, if you begin to declare, "Mountain, you are being moved in the name of Jesus," then things begin to change.
Do you remember when God created the world? The Bible says that he spoke and things came into existence in Genesis 1. God said, "Let there be light." And there was light. He didn't think it. He didn't hope it. He didn't wish it. He spoke it and it happened. And do you know what? You have that same creative power on the inside of you. When you speak, things happen. When you speak God's word, things change. But you have to start speaking.
Now, some of you might say, "Well, Brother Hagen, I've been speaking God's word and nothing seems to be happening." Let me tell you something. Don't stop speaking. Don't stop declaring. In Mark 11:24, Jesus said, "Therefore, I say unto you, what things soever ye desire when you pray, believe that you receive them, and ye shall have them." Notice he says, "Believe that you receive them when you pray." You've got to believe that the moment you pray, it's already done in the spirit. And when you believe it in the spirit, you start speaking it in the natural. You start declaring it as if it's already done.
Beloved, I'm here to tell you today that if you will begin to declare the word of God over your life, over your health, over your finances, over your family, over your circumstances, you will begin to see your life change. You'll begin to see victory because God's word never fails. It cannot return void. Isaiah 55:11 says, "So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth. It shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it."
So I'm asking you today, what are you declaring? What are you speaking? Are you speaking the word of God over your life? Or are you agreeing with the enemy's lies? The choice is yours. You have the power right now to speak life into your situation. You have the authority to declare the blood of Jesus over your life, over your family, and over every situation that you're facing.
Now, let's declare this out loud together. "I declare that I have victory through the blood of Jesus. I declare that no weapon formed against me shall prosper. I declare that I am healed. I am prosperous. and I am victorious in Christ Jesus. I speak life. I speak blessing. And I speak the word of God into every area of my life in Jesus name."
Now let's dive into the heart of what we are declaring: the blood of Jesus. Oh, I can't tell you enough about the power in that precious blood. You see, the blood of Jesus is not just a theological concept. It is a living active force that has the power to transform your life, to break chains, to heal bodies, and to bring you into the victory that Jesus has already secured for you.
Let me take you to a powerful scripture, Hebrews 9:12, which says, "Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us." Do you understand what this is saying? Under the old covenant, the blood of goats and calves was used to cover sin. But the blood of Jesus didn't just cover sin, it cleansed it. It didn't just make things temporarily better. It secured eternal redemption for us. We are no longer bound by the old way of atoning for sin. Jesus' blood was poured out once and that was enough. Hallelujah.
Now I want you to see something important. When we talk about the blood of Jesus, we are talking about a covenant. The blood represents God's binding promise to his people. In the Old Testament, covenants were sealed with the blood of animals. But under the new covenant, the blood of Jesus sealed that covenant once and for all. This is why we talk about the blood covenant. This is why we emphasize its power. It's not a ritual or a tradition. It's the spiritual legal document that secures every promise God has made to us. When Jesus shed his blood, he made a promise. And that promise is as good as done. When you plead the blood of Jesus, you are invoking the power of that covenant.
Let's take a moment to remember the first time the blood of Jesus was declared in a significant way. If you recall the story of the Passover in Exodus 12, the Israelites were instructed to take the blood of a lamb and apply it to the doorposts of their homes. The angel of death would then pass over those homes, sparing the lives of those inside. In verse 13, God says, "And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are. And when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you. when I smite the land of Egypt." That blood marked them for protection. It was a sign that they were in covenant with God, and that covenant protected them.
Now, that was a shadow, a type, a foreshadowing of what was to come. The real lamb of God, Jesus Christ, shed his blood, not just for the people of Israel, but for all people. And the blood of Jesus doesn't just cover us temporarily like the blood of the lamb in Egypt. It cleanses us forever. 1 John 1:7 says, "But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another. And the blood of Jesus Christ his son cleanseth us from all sin." Oh, glory to God. Not only does the blood cover us, but it cleanses us. It removes the stain of sin and it purifies our hearts before God.
Now listen to this. When the blood of Jesus was poured out, it activated our redemption. In Revelation 12:11, it says, "And they overcame him by the blood of the lamb and by the word of their testimony." Did you catch that? They overcame not by their own strength, not by their own might, not by their own good works, but by the blood of the lamb. The blood has already done the work for you, my friend. Jesus has already conquered the enemy. He defeated death, hell, and the grave by his blood. And that victory is now available to you.
Now, I want to make this clear. The blood of Jesus is not just for salvation in the afterlife. The blood is for your everyday life. It's for your healing, your provision, your protection, your deliverance. In fact, the blood of Jesus covers everything. There's nothing the blood doesn't touch. Romans 5:9 says, "Much more than being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him." That blood has justified us. It has declared us righteous before God. And the moment you put your faith in the blood, you are protected from the wrath of the enemy. You are in covenant with the most high and no weapon formed against you shall prosper. Glory to God.
Let me share a simple illustration to help you understand this. Imagine you have a legal contract in your hand signed and sealed by someone with full authority guaranteeing that you will receive all the benefits promised in that contract. Now think of the blood of Jesus as the seal on your covenant. When you apply the blood, it's like taking that legal document and activating it in your life. You are saying, "I believe that this promise is mine." The enemy doesn't have a leg to stand on because the contract has been sealed by the blood of Jesus Christ. That's your protection. That's your guarantee. When you stand on the blood, you stand in a position of covenant authority.
Now, I want you to think about this for a moment. If the blood of a natural lamb under the old covenant had the power to stop the destroyer in his tracks, how much more should the blood of Jesus, the lamb of God, do for us? Hebrews 9:14 says, "How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?" The blood of Jesus purges your conscience. It cleanses you from the guilt and shame of the past. It makes you holy and righteous in God's eyes. The blood is still speaking and is speaking over your life today. When we understand this, we realize that we're not just covered by the blood. We are empowered by it. The blood of Jesus gives us the ability to stand in victory over every attack of the enemy. When sickness comes, you plead the blood and it has to go. When lack comes, you plead the blood and the blessing of God flows. When fear comes, you plead the blood and peace fills your heart. The blood activates victory in every area of your life.
Beloved, this is the message we need to understand and declare in these last days. The power of the blood is not a distant abstract concept. It is a living reality that you can apply to your life today. It's time for us to stop living like we're defeated and start living like we're victorious. And the blood of Jesus is the key that unlocks that victory. When you declare the blood over your life, you're declaring that victory is mine.
So, I want you to say this with me right now, wherever you are. "I declare that I am covered by the blood of Jesus. I declare that no weapon formed against me shall prosper. I declare that I am healed. I am delivered. And I am victorious in Christ Jesus. The blood of Jesus has already given me the victory. And I stand in that victory today." Glory to God.
Now, let's move into something that I believe is absolutely essential for every believer to understand. Our authority in Christ through the blood of Jesus. This is not just a theological concept. This is a real truth that we must walk in every single day of our lives. As Christians, we are not weak, defeated, or powerless. No, we are strong in the Lord and we are seated in heavenly places with Christ Jesus.
The moment you receive Jesus as your Lord and Savior, you were brought into a new covenant, a covenant that is established on better promises. Hebrews 8:6. And that covenant is enforced by the power of the blood of Jesus. Now, let me show you something in the word that will make this truth come alive in your heart. Luke 10:19 says, "Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you." Jesus himself declared this over his followers. He gave us authority. That's right. Authority. We don't have to beg the devil to leave us alone, and we don't have to wait for God to do something about it. No, Jesus has already done the work and he's already given us the authority to walk in victory, to walk in dominion, to take our stand in him.
This is what most believers fail to understand. We are not victims of circumstances, but we are victors in Christ. We are more than conquerors through him that loved us. Romans 8:37. When we speak the name of Jesus, we're not just speaking a nice religious word. We are speaking with authority. We are speaking from a position of victory, from a place of dominion. Jesus himself has given us that dominion and he has sealed it with his blood.
I want you to get this deep down in your spirit today. The blood of Jesus guarantees that you have the right to exercise your authority as a believer. The blood doesn't just cover your sins. It empowers you to enforce God's will on the earth. When Jesus went to the cross, he took back the authority that Adam lost in the garden. And when he shed his blood, he secured that authority for us. That authority is ours today and it's enforced by the blood of Jesus.
Let me take you to Ephesians 2:6 where the Bible says, "And hath raised us up together and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus." I want you to picture this with me for a moment. You are seated in heavenly places with Christ. Not only are you seated with him, but the Bible tells us that he is seated at the right hand of God, which is a seat of authority. Now if you are seated with Christ in heavenly places, that means you share in his authority. Glory to God. You are not a beggar and you are not powerless. You have authority over all the power of the enemy. When you speak, heaven backs up your words. When you declare, God's power goes to work on your behalf.
Let me show you the power of this authority. In Ephesians 1:21, it says that Jesus is seated far above all principality and power and might and dominion and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come. Jesus is far above all the works of the enemy. Far above sickness, far above poverty, far above depression, far above anything the devil can throw at you. And the Bible says you are seated with him in that place of authority. That means you have the same authority over the enemy that Jesus has. And that authority is enforced by the blood of Jesus. Do you see it? Do you understand it?
Beloved, this is the key to walking in victory. You are not powerless. You are not weak. You are not defeated. The blood of Jesus has given you authority over the enemy. And when you stand in that authority, when you speak the word of God with boldness, when you declare the victory of the blood over your life, you are enforcing the victory that Jesus won for you.
Now, I want you to listen closely. The enemy knows this. He knows that he has no power over you unless you give him a foothold. He knows that the moment you rise up and declare your authority. The moment you apply the blood in faith, he has to back off. That's why he tries to keep you quiet. That's why he tries to keep you in fear and doubt. But you know what? Fear is not your portion, my friend. Faith is your portion. And the moment you speak in faith, you activate that authority. The moment you stand in your rightful place as a believer in Christ, you enforce the victory of the cross.
When you declare the blood of Jesus over your life, over your family, over your health, you are enforcing your covenant rights. You are saying, "I know what Jesus has done for me, and I know that the blood has already won the victory." And when you make that declaration, I'm telling you, the enemy has no choice but to back off. He cannot stand in the presence of the blood of Jesus. He cannot defeat you when you are walking in the authority of the blood. The blood gives you legal access to everything that God has promised you.
I'll tell you a story of a woman who learned this principle. She had been suffering from a terrible disease for years and the doctors had given her no hope. But she heard the word of God. She heard about the power of the blood. And she began to declare it over her body. She said, "I am healed by the stripes of Jesus. The blood of Jesus covers me and I have authority over this sickness." Day by day she spoke the word and she applied the blood in faith. And one day she woke up and the symptoms were gone. She was healed. Why? Because she understood her authority through the blood of Jesus. She enforced her healing through the power of declaration. That's the kind of victory you can have, beloved. That's the kind of authority you can walk in every single day. The blood of Jesus has secured it for you.
Now, it's time for you to take hold of it. Don't wait for things to change before you declare your victory. Declare it now. The moment you speak in faith, the moment you apply the blood of Jesus, the moment you rise up in your authority, you activate the power of God in your life.
So let's declare this together today. "I declare that I am seated in heavenly places with Christ Jesus. I have authority over all the power of the enemy. Nothing can harm me. No weapon formed against me shall prosper. I stand in my authority through the blood of Jesus. I enforce the victory that Jesus has already won for me. And I declare that I walk in victory today and every day in Jesus' name."
Now, I want to talk to you about activating victory through declarations. You see, beloved, you're not just declaring words out into the atmosphere when you speak the word of God. No, you are activating the power of God. You are bringing things into being that were not there before. You are changing the natural realm with your words. There's a power that is released when you speak in faith. A divine force that goes to work behind the scenes, setting things in motion, changing situations and bringing God's promises into manifestation in your life.
I want you to look at Romans 4:17 where it says, "As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations before him whom he believed, even God who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were." Notice what it says. God calls those things which are not as though they were. Now, what does that mean for you? It means that you don't have to wait for things to line up perfectly before you start speaking God's word. No, you speak the word first and you declare the reality of God's promises before you see them manifest. That's how faith works. Faith calls things into existence.
I know some of you may be saying, "Brother Hagen, I don't see anything changing in my life yet." But I'm declaring the word. I'm speaking it out loud. And that's exactly what you need to be doing. Don't wait for the circumstances to change before you speak the word. Speak the word first and then watch the circumstances change. In Mark 11:23, Jesus tells us to speak to the mountain. He doesn't say, "Wait until the mountain moves and then speak." No, he says, "Speak to the mountain." You have to declare it first. Declare that victory is yours. Declare that healing is yours. Declare that provision is yours. And then when you speak in faith, the mountain has to move.
Remember, the word of God is alive. It's living and active, and it works when you speak it. Hebrews 4:12 says, "For the word of God is quick and powerful and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart." When you speak the word, it goes to work. It's not just a passive act. It's a spiritual weapon. It's the sword of the spirit and it cuts through all the lies of the enemy, all the doubt, all the fear and all the confusion.
Let me share a story with you. There was a man who had been living in financial lack for many years. He had tried everything. He had worked hard. He had prayed. He had believed. But nothing seemed to change. One day he came across a scripture in Philippians 4:19 which says, "But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus." That was a promise he could stand on. He looked at that promise and said, "This is it. I have the right to declare this over my life." And he began to speak it out loud every day. "My God shall supply all my need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus." He said it with boldness, with conviction, with faith. Now, the devil tried to attack him. The situation didn't immediately change. But the man didn't stop declaring. He didn't stop speaking life over his finances. And one day, out of nowhere, a check showed up in his mailbox. a check that covered all his debts and then some. Glory to God. His financial breakthrough didn't come because he sat around and hoped for it. It came because he declared God's promises over his life. He activated the word of God with his words. And that's exactly what you need to do today.
You see, the enemy knows the power of declarations. He knows that when you speak God's word, you are releasing the power of heaven into your situation. That's why he tries to get you to keep silent, to speak words of fear and defeat. He wants you to agree with a problem, but you must choose to agree with God's word. The Bible says in Amos 3:3, "Can two walk together except they be agreed?" If you're agreeing with the enemy, you'll walk in defeat. But when you agree with the word of God, when you declare what God has said, you are walking in victory.
In Romans 10:9, it says that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. Notice it says that salvation comes through confession. Confession brings possession. When you speak with your mouth, you possess what belongs to you. You possess healing. You possess prosperity. You possess peace. You possess victory. Confession activates possession.
Beloved, you must speak your way into victory. That's what it means to activate the word. You can't just think it. You can't just wish it. You have to speak it. And when you speak it, the atmosphere shifts, your circumstances change, and the power of God goes to work. You may not see the results immediately, but as you continue to speak in faith, you are aligning your life with the will of God. You are activating victory. The victory you need is already in the spirit, but you must bring it into the natural by declaring it with your mouth.
In Mark 5:28, there's a powerful story of the woman with the issue of blood. She said, "If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole." Notice, she didn't just think this. She didn't just pray about it. She declared it. And when she declared it, the power of God was released and she was healed. I want you to see something here. Faith is in the declaration. It's in the confession. The moment she spoke it, she activated the power of God. And the moment she touched Jesus, she was made whole.
I'm here to tell you today that same power is available to you. When you begin to declare, "I am healed by the stripes of Jesus. I am blessed and highly favored. I have the mind of Christ. No weapon formed against me shall prosper." You are activating the victory that has already been won for you.
So let's declare today. "I declare that I am walking in victory. I am walking in healing. I am walking in God's provision. I am walking in the fullness of God's promises. I declare that no weapon of the enemy shall prosper against me because I am more than a conqueror through Christ Jesus. I call my body healed. I call my mind at peace and I call my future blessed. I am victorious and I am walking in my covenant rights today in Jesus' name."
Now beloved, let's address one of the biggest hindrances that many of us face as we walk in the promises of God. Fear and doubt. I want to speak to you today about how the blood of Jesus can help us overcome fear and doubt. There's no greater weapon against fear than the power of the blood of Jesus Christ. You see, fear is one of the enemy's most effective tools to keep us from walking in the victory that Jesus has already secured for us. But we do not have to be afraid. We do not have to cower before the devil or allow fear to rule in our hearts. The blood of Jesus gives us authority over fear. And today, we're going to declare that fear has no place in our lives.
First, I want you to understand that fear is not from God. It is not something that we should accept or tolerate. In 2 Timothy 1:7, the word says, "For God hath not given us the spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind." God did not give us a spirit of fear. Fear is an oppressive spirit. A spirit that tries to overwhelm you with uncertainty and anxiety. It seeks to paralyze you, to keep you from moving forward in faith, and to rob you of the peace and joy that Jesus has already made available to you. But praise God, Jesus has already defeated fear. When he shed his blood on the cross, he disarmed the powers of darkness, including the spirit of fear. Colossians 2:15 tells us, "And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it." Jesus triumphed over every fear, over every tormenting spirit, and he did it for you and for me. The blood of Jesus was the victory, and it is the victory we now walk in.
I want to emphasize something very important here. Fear cannot stay where the blood of Jesus is applied. The moment you begin to declare the blood of Jesus over your life, the spirit of fear has to flee. James 4:7 says, "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you." How do you resist the devil? By speaking the word of God and applying the blood of Jesus to your situation. When you declare, "I am covered by the blood of Jesus." You are not just speaking words. You are resisting the enemy. And when you resist the enemy, he must flee.
I remember a time in my own life when fear tried to take hold of me. I had been through a season of trials, sickness, and financial hardship, and the enemy began to whisper to me, "It's never going to get better. You're never going to make it. This is how it's always going to be." But then I remembered the power of the blood of Jesus. I stood up and I said, "No, I am covered by the blood of Jesus. I am more than a conqueror through him who loves me. Fear has no place in my life. I refuse to accept it. I declare that the blood of Jesus has already given me the victory." And let me tell you something, beloved, that fear had to leave. It had no choice. Fear cannot stay in the presence of the blood.
1 John 4:18 tells us, "There is no fear in love, but perfect love casteth out fear, because fear hath torment." He that feareth is not made perfect in love. The blood of Jesus is the perfect love that casts out fear. When you apply the blood over your life, you are declaring that God's love is greater than any fear, any doubt or any lie of the enemy. The love of God revealed through the blood of Jesus is perfect and it casts out all fear. This is a vital truth that we need to hold on to.
Now, let me show you how this applies to your daily life. Maybe you're facing fear of the future, fear of what's coming next, fear of the unknown. Or maybe you're dealing with fear of sickness, wondering if you're going to be struck down by disease. Perhaps there's fear of lack, fear that you'll never have enough, never be able to provide for yourself or your family. Whatever the fear is, I want you to know that it has no right to remain in your life. When you apply the blood of Jesus, you are declaring that God's perfect love covers you and fear has no place.
Here's what I want you to do the next time fear tries to rise up in your heart. First, acknowledge it. Recognize that it's trying to take hold of you. Then declare the blood. Say, "I plead the blood of Jesus over my life, and I refuse to walk in fear. God has not given me the spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind. I declare that fear has no place in my heart or mind. I am covered by the blood of Jesus, and I am victorious over every attack of the enemy." You see, beloved, you're not just hoping that fear will leave. You are activating the power of the blood of Jesus to resist the devil and drive out fear. The enemy is defeated. You have authority over him and the blood of Jesus is the key to walking in that victory.
Let's talk about doubt for a moment. Doubt is another tool the enemy uses to steal your confidence in God's promises. But just like fear, doubt has no place in the life of a believer who is walking in the authority of the blood of Jesus. In Matthew 21:21, Jesus says, "Verily, I say unto you, if ye have faith and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea, it shall be done." Doubt hinders your ability to speak in faith and see things change. But you know what? The blood of Jesus removes doubt. When you apply the blood, you are declaring, "My faith is secure. I believe God's word and I believe that his promises are true."
I want you to hear this today. You don't have to fight fear and doubt in your own strength. You don't have to try to overcome it with your own efforts or self-will. The blood of Jesus is your weapon. It's the finished work of Christ and it is more than enough to deal with anything the enemy throws your way.
Let's say it together today. "I declare that I am free from fear. I declare that I am free from doubt. I refuse to let fear and doubt rule my life. I am covered by the blood of Jesus. I am walking in God's perfect love. I resist the enemy and I declare victory over fear and doubt in my life. The blood has already secured my victory. I stand in that victory in Jesus' name."
Now beloved, I want to focus on something that is of vital importance for every believer and that is pleading the blood of Jesus over your family. There's a supernatural power in the blood of Jesus that goes far beyond individual protection. And it extends to your loved ones, to your household, to your children, and to your home. You see, God's desire is not just for you to walk in his protection, but for your family to be under the covering of his blood as well.
I want you to understand something powerful today. The blood of Jesus is a divine protection that shields us from all harm. This is not just something we talk about on Sundays. This is a truth that we must apply every single day in our homes. You have the right as a believer to plead the blood of Jesus over your family and to declare that no evil will befall them. No harm will come near them and no plague will enter your dwelling. Psalm 91:10 says, "There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling." That's the promise of God for you and your loved ones. And it is a promise that you can stand on today.
The blood of Jesus is the ultimate covering. Just as God told the Israelites to apply the blood of the lamb over the doorposts during the Passover, you and I have the privilege and the authority to apply the blood over the doors of our homes, over our loved ones, and over everything that concerns us. Exodus 12:13 says, "And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are. and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you when I smite the land of Egypt." This was the protection of the Lord for the Israelites. And today, the blood of Jesus is our protection.
Now, I want to emphasize something here. The blood does not just protect us from physical harm. It also protects our hearts and minds. We live in a world where fear, anxiety, and chaos are trying to overwhelm us. But when we apply the blood of Jesus, we are declaring that peace is what will reign in our homes. In Psalm 121:7-8, the word of God says, "The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil. He shall preserve thy soul. The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth and even forever more." This is the protection we have in Christ's divine preservation over every area of our lives, including our families.
When we plead the blood over our children, our spouses, and our homes, we are inviting God's protection to surround us. And when the enemy comes to attack, when he tries to bring destruction, when he tries to bring sickness or fear into your household, the blood of Jesus acts as a shield that repels every attack of the enemy. I want you to get this in your spirit. You have the authority to stand against the enemy's attacks, and the blood of Jesus is the weapon that activates that authority.
Let me share a personal story. There was a time when my family was facing a serious attack from the enemy. There were health issues, financial struggles, and it seemed like everything was coming against us. But I remembered the power of the blood of Jesus. And I started to plead the blood over my home, over my children, over my wife. I declared, "No weapon formed against us shall prosper. The blood of Jesus covers our home, our minds, our health, and our future. We are protected by the blood." And let me tell you, beloved, the atmosphere changed. The attack was broken. The sickness had to go. The fear was driven out. The protection of the blood covered us. And God moved mightily on our behalf.
I want you to know today that God's protection is available to you. When you speak the blood over your family, you are claiming divine protection for every member of your household. You are declaring that God's promises of safety and security belong to you. You have the right to apply the blood of Jesus. And when you do, you are enforcing the covenant that has already been sealed with his blood.
Let me show you another powerful verse that supports this truth. In Hebrews 9:12, it says, "Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood, he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us." Jesus's blood has obtained eternal redemption for us, and that includes eternal protection. You have been redeemed from the curse of the law, redeemed from sickness, redeemed from fear, and redeemed from the enemy's attacks. When you apply the blood, you are activating that redemption.
Now, I want to make this practical for you. Here's what I want you to do. Every single day, take time to plead the blood of Jesus over your family. Declare it boldly. Stand up and say, "I plead the blood of Jesus over my children, over my spouse, over my home, over our going out and our coming in. We are covered by the blood of Jesus and no evil shall befall us. We are protected, preserved and redeemed by the blood of Jesus." When you do this, you are enforcing the power of the blood in your home. You are declaring the promises of God over your family and those promises will never fail.
I also want to encourage you to teach your children the power of the blood. This is something that we must pass down from generation to generation. In Proverbs 22:6, the word says, "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it." Teach your children to declare the blood over their own lives. Teach them that the blood of Jesus is their protection, their covering, and their source of victory. Let them know that the blood will never fail. And as they grow, they will walk in the same authority and protection that you walk in.
And so today, I want us to declare this together over our families. "I plead the blood of Jesus over my family. I declare that we are protected, preserved, and redeemed by the blood. No weapon formed against us shall prosper. We are covered. We are safe. And we are secure in the blood of Jesus. We refuse to fear. We refuse to allow the enemy to have any place in our home. The blood of Jesus is our shield. And we stand in victory today in Jesus' name."
Now beloved, I want to take you into an incredible realm of understanding: walking in the supernatural power of the blood of Jesus. This is not just a doctrine we study. It is a reality that we must experience and live out every single day of our lives. You see, the blood of Jesus is not just a historical fact. It is a living power that works on our behalf. The blood of Jesus is the key to walking in supernatural victory over every attack of the enemy, over every challenge in life, and over every circumstance that seems impossible.
Let me take you back to Revelation 12:11 where it says, "And they overcame him by the blood of the lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they loved not their lives unto the death." This verse shows us the supernatural victory that is available to us through the blood of Jesus. It is not just about surviving. It's about overcoming. It's about walking in triumph over the devil and all his works. And we do this through two key things: the blood of the lamb and the word of our testimony. These two powerful forces work together to release supernatural victory in our lives.
First, let's talk about the blood of the lamb. The blood of Jesus is not a mere symbol. It is a spiritual weapon that activates God's power in our lives. When we speak the blood, we are invoking the power of God to work on our behalf. You see, there's power in the blood. Power to heal, power to deliver, power to protect, power to restore. The blood of Jesus is a supernatural force that brings the life of God into every area of our lives.
I want to show you something powerful in John 6:53-56. Jesus said, "Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, ye have no life in you. Whoso eateth my flesh and drinketh my blood hath eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day. For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed. He that eateth my flesh and drinketh my blood dwelleth in me, and I in him." You see what Jesus is saying? His blood is life. When you apply the blood of Jesus, you are inviting the life of God into your body, your spirit and your soul. That means no sickness, no disease, no weakness can remain in you because the life of God is in the blood. The blood of Jesus is supernatural. It activates the life of God in you.
Now, let me show you something else that's incredibly important. In 1 John 5:8, the Bible says, "And there are three that bear witness in earth, the spirit, and the water, and the blood. And these three agree in one." This is one of the most powerful verses about the supernatural power of the blood. The blood, the water, and the spirit all agree in one. When you plead the blood of Jesus, you are activating three powerful forces: the spirit of God, the word of God represented by the water, and the blood of Jesus. These three are in agreement to bring about your victory. The Holy Spirit works through the blood to empower you, to heal you, and to lead you into all truth. Beloved, when you apply the blood of Jesus, you are walking in a supernatural partnership with the Holy Spirit. You are not walking alone. The spirit of God is with you, working on your behalf. And he is activating the life of God in you.
The blood in your life. And that blood does not just cover your sins. It activates power that brings supernatural results.
Now, I want to share something with you. I've seen this supernatural power of the blood work in my own life. There was a time when I was faced with a great financial struggle. The bills were piling up and the enemy tried to bring fear into my mind. But I stood up and I began to plead the blood of Jesus over my finances. I declared the blood of Jesus covers my finances. I am redeemed from the curse of poverty. The life of God is in my finances. I declare supernatural provision in the name of Jesus. And I want you to know as I declared the blood, God began to move in supernatural ways. The breakthrough came. Money came in. Bills were paid. It was a miracle. The blood of Jesus activated supernatural provision in my life. And it can do the same for you.
Let me take you to another powerful scripture that speaks of the supernatural power of the blood. Hebrews 9:14 says, "How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God." Did you catch that? The blood of Jesus purges our conscience. It doesn't just deal with sin on the surface. It goes deep, deep down into [snorts] your soul. The blood of Jesus cleanses you from all guilt, all shame, all condemnation. and it empowers you to serve the living God with a pure heart. This is supernatural cleansing. It is supernatural freedom. The blood of Jesus purges your conscience from every wrong thought, every wrong memory, and every negative thing the enemy has tried to bind you with. The power of the blood cleanses you completely so you can walk in the fullness of God's purpose for your life.
So when you speak the blood, you are activating supernatural power to bring about healing, provision, freedom, and victory. The blood of Jesus is alive and it is working on your behalf right now. It's not just a doctrine. It is a reality that you can walk in today. Let me show you how you can begin to walk in this supernatural power. Begin to declare the blood of Jesus over every area of your life. Declare it over your health, your finances, your family, your mind, and your future. Speak the blood over your relationships, your job, your ministry, and your calling. The blood of Jesus is a supernatural force that has the power to change everything. When you apply it in faith, it activates the power of God in your life.
So, let's make this declaration together today. I declare that I am walking in the supernatural power of the blood of Jesus. The blood of Jesus is alive in me and it is working in every area of my life. I speak the blood over my body, my finances, my family, my job, and my future. I declare that the life of God is in me. I am healed. I am provided for. I am protected. I am walking in victory because of the blood of Jesus. No weapon formed against me shall prosper. The supernatural power of the blood is working in my life today and every day in Jesus' name.
Now beloved, we are about to enter into an area of spiritual warfare where the blood of Jesus becomes one of our most powerful weapons. You see, the blood of Jesus is not just a symbol of our redemption. It is also a weapon, a spiritual weapon that is mighty in the fight against the forces of darkness. When you understand the power of the blood, you will begin to see that the enemy has no right to continue to attack you, your family, or your circumstances. The blood of Jesus gives you divine authority to stand and fight against every force that comes against you.
In Revelation 12:11, we read, "And they overcame him by the blood of the lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they love not their lives unto the death." This is a powerful verse. It tells us that we overcome the enemy not by our own strength, not by our own might, but by the blood of the lamb. The blood of Jesus is a weapon of warfare that gives us victory over every attack of the enemy. I want you to realize today that the blood of Jesus is stronger than anything the enemy can throw your way. Whether it's sickness, poverty, fear, oppression, or any demonic attack, the blood of Jesus has already provided the victory. The enemy cannot stand in the presence of the blood.
Colossians 2:15 says, "And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shoe of them openly, triumphing over them in it." Jesus triumphed over the enemy with his blood. And now that same triumph is available to us. You see, the blood of Jesus is more than just protection. It is also an offensive weapon. It is a weapon that attacks the works of darkness and destroys the hold of the enemy in your life. When you declare the blood over your life, over your family, over your health, you are attacking the enemy's strongholds and bringing them down. The blood is the divine weapon that allows you to walk in the fullness of your victory in Christ.
Let's talk about this weapon in more detail. In Ephesians 6:112, we are told to put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the ws of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Notice, we are not fighting against flesh and blood. Our battle is not with people. It is with spiritual forces. These forces are defeated by the blood of Jesus. The Bible says that Jesus spalled principalities and powers. That means he stripped them of their authority. He took away their power over you. When Jesus shed his blood, he disarmed the enemy and made a public show of his defeat. Now you and I can walk in that same victory because the blood of Jesus has already won the war.
1 John 3:8 tells us, "For this purpose the son of God was manifested that he might destroy the works of the devil." The works of the devil have already been destroyed and we are enforcing that victory through the blood of Jesus. When we speak the blood over our lives, we are activating the authority that comes with that victory. Luke 10:19 says, "Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy. And nothing shall by any means hurt you." That's the authority you have as a believer. You have power over all the power of the enemy. And the blood of Jesus is the weapon that enforces that power.
Let me give you a practical example. I know many of you have experienced spiritual attacks. Maybe fear, sickness, or confusion has tried to come against you. But I want to show you how you can use the blood of Jesus to fight back. The next time you face an attack, whether it's a mental battle, a physical battle, or even a financial battle, stand in your authority and plead the blood of Jesus. Speak it with faith. Say, "I apply the blood of Jesus to this situation. I declare that the blood has already won the victory. I refuse to accept defeat because I have the victory through the blood of Jesus." You see, when you apply the blood, you are activating the victory that Jesus already secured for you. You are declaring to the enemy, you have no right to stay here. You have no power over me, over my family, over my health, over my finances. The blood of Jesus has defeated you. The enemy cannot stand in the face of the blood of Jesus.
James 4:7 says, "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you." When you submit to God's word, when you resist the devil with the blood of Jesus, the devil must flee. He has no choice but to leave. Let me share a testimony with you about how the blood of Jesus works as a weapon. There was a time when I was facing a financial crisis. Bills were due, and there seemed to be no way out. The enemy was trying to get me to fear and doubt, but I stood up and said, "I plead the blood of Jesus over my finances. I declare that no weapon formed against me shall prosper. I am redeemed from the curse of poverty. I command financial breakthrough in the name of Jesus." And I want you to know that situation turned around. The breakthrough came. Bills were paid. The enemy was defeated. The blood of Jesus activated the victory in my life. And it can do the same for you.
Let's take a moment right now and declare the blood of Jesus over our lives. I declare the blood of Jesus over my life. I plead the blood over my body, my mind, my family, and my finances. I refuse to accept any attack of the enemy. I stand in the authority that I have in Christ Jesus. And I declare that no weapon formed against me shall prosper. I enforce the victory of the blood of Jesus over every area of my life. The enemy is defeated. And I walk in victory today.
Beloved, we are coming to a powerful and foundational truth about the blood of Jesus. The everlasting power of the blood. This is not just something that was powerful in the past. The blood of Jesus is a timeless force that continues to work today and will continue to work forever. The power of the blood of Jesus is eternal. and it has the ability to impact not only your life, but the lives of your children, your grandchildren, and even future generations.
One of the most incredible things about the blood of Jesus is that it has the power to create a legacy of victory, a legacy of protection, and a legacy of faith that'll last for generations to come. You see, God never intended for the work of the blood to just be something you experience in your own life. The blood of Jesus is meant to be passed down from one generation to the next as a sacred legacy.
In Exodus 12, we see God giving the Israelites the instructions for the first Passover. God told them to apply the blood to their doorposts. And he said in Exodus 12:13, "And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are. And when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you when I smite the land of Egypt." Notice that God didn't just say the blood would protect them in that moment. He was establishing a covenant for generations to come. Exodus 12:14 continues, "And this day shall be unto you for a memorial, and ye shall keep it a feast to the Lord throughout your generations. Ye shall keep it a feast by an ordinance forever." God was establishing the power of the blood as something that would continue for generations. A feast that would remind them of the deliverance, the protection, and the redemption that came through the blood.
This same principle applies to us today. The blood of Jesus is not just for your own salvation. It is for your children, your grandchildren, and every generation that follows. The blood is a legacy of protection, healing, and deliverance that you can leave to your family. Psalm 103-17 says, "But the mercy of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him and his righteousness unto children's children." The mercy of God, which is made available to us through the blood of Jesus, extends to our children, and even to our children's children.
Now, I want you to understand something very important. When we apply the blood over our lives, we are not just securing our own victory. We are securing a divine covering for the generations that will come after us. This is how powerful the blood of Jesus is. It doesn't just impact your present. It reaches forward into your future, creating a legacy of faith and protection that will stand the test of time.
In 2 Timothy 1:5, the Apostle Paul speaks of a godly legacy passed down through generations when he says, "When I call to remembrance the unfeigned faith that is in thee, which dwelt first in thy grandmother Lois and thy mother Ununice, and I am persuaded that in thee also." This is a powerful testimony of how faith through the blood of Jesus is passed down from generation to generation. Paul is acknowledging that the faith of Timothy's grandmother and mother was alive in him. This was a legacy that was established in the blood of Jesus and continued through generations.
Beloved, I want to challenge you today. What kind of legacy are you leaving for your family? What kind of spiritual inheritance are you passing down to your children and your grandchildren? The blood of Jesus gives you the power to establish a legacy of victory that will last far beyond your own lifetime. Your children don't have to grow up in fear. Your grandchildren don't have to be bound by the same struggles and curses that the enemy has tried to bring against your family. You can stand today and say, "I apply the blood of Jesus to my family. I declare that my children will walk in the freedom and victory that the blood of Jesus has already provided. I am leaving a legacy of faith, a legacy of protection, and a legacy of victory through the blood of Jesus."
In Hebrews 9:15, the word says, "And for this cause, he is the mediator of the New Testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance." The blood of Jesus has secured an eternal inheritance for us, and it is an inheritance that we can pass down. We don't just have eternal life in Christ. We also have an eternal inheritance through the blood, a spiritual inheritance that we can leave to our children and even to our children's children.
And so today, I want you to begin thinking about the legacy you are creating with the blood of Jesus. What are you passing down? You are a spiritual authority in your family. You have the power to declare, "The blood of Jesus covers my family." You have the power to declare that the work of the blood will continue for generations. That your family will walk in divine protection, divine health, prosperity, and victory because of the blood.
Let's take a moment to speak life over our families. Father, I thank you for the blood of Jesus. I declare that the blood is covering my family today and every day. I declare that no weapon formed against us shall prosper. We are walking in your protection, your provision, your healing, and your victory. I apply the blood of Jesus over my children, over my spouse, over my home, over our future. I declare that your blood will work in us, through us, and for us. We are creating a legacy of faith that will be passed down from generation to generation. Thank you, Father, for the power of the blood that will never lose its power in Jesus' name.
Now, beloved, we come to the grand conclusion of our study on the power of the blood of Jesus, our declaration of victory. We've seen throughout this series that the blood of Jesus is not just something to talk about, not just something to admire from a distance. The blood of Jesus is a declaration of victory. And it's a victory that is available to every believer today, right here, right now. The moment you begin to declare the power of the blood, you are activating God's victory in every area of your life.
In Revelation 12:11, we've already read, "And they overcame him by the blood of the lamb and by the word of their testimony. And they loved not their lives unto the death." Do you see that? The blood of the lamb and the word of their testimony are inextricably linked. When you declare the power of the blood, you are speaking victory into your life. It's not just a one-time event. It's a daily declaration that enforces the victory that Jesus has already secured for you.
You see, when we speak the blood over our lives, over our circumstances, we are enforcing the victory that Jesus won on the cross. Jesus won the victory over sin, over sickness, over poverty, over fear, over oppression, and over every attack of the enemy. The blood of Jesus is the weapon that enforces this victory. It is the ultimate declaration of our victory in Christ. It is the badge of authority that we hold as believers to walk in freedom, to walk in healing, to walk in the abundant life that Jesus promised us.
Let's look at the words of Matthew 26-28 where Jesus himself said, "For this is my blood of the new testament which is shed for many for the remission of sins." Jesus's blood was shed for you and me. It was a declaration of victory over sin, over death, over everything that stood between us and the fullness of God's promises. His blood declares that we are redeemed, forgiven, and washed clean by the power of his sacrifice.
And so today, I want to encourage you. Every time you face a challenge, every time you feel defeated, every time the enemy tries to come against you with fear or doubt, declare the blood of Jesus over your situation. When sickness tries to attack your body, declare, "By the blood of Jesus, I am healed. I declare my body healed, and I stand in the victory that Jesus purchased for me on the cross." When fear tries to grip your mind, declare, "The blood of Jesus covers my mind. I have the mind of Christ and I refuse to give place to fear." When financial lack tries to enter, declare, "The blood of Jesus covers my finances. I am redeemed from the curse of poverty. I speak prosperity into my life in the name of Jesus."
The blood of Jesus is alive and it is working right now. It's not a past event. It is a present reality. Romans 5:9 tells us, "Much more than being now justified by his blood. We shall be saved from wrath through him. We are justified by his blood." Justified means to be made right, to be made whole, to be declared righteous. This means that you have been declared victorious in every situation of life by the blood of Jesus. When you declare the blood, you are claiming that victory. When you declare the blood over your life, you are speaking into existence the truth of God's word that says you are more than a conqueror through him that loved you. Romans 8:37. You are declaring that you are redeemed. You are healed. You are whole. and you are free from every work of the devil.
Galatians 3:13 says, "Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us. For it is written, cursed is everyone that hangeth on a tree." Jesus took upon himself the curse of sin, the curse of sickness, the curse of poverty, and the curse of death so that you could walk in freedom and victory today. The blood is the declaration that this victory is yours.
Now beloved, I want you to realize something else. This declaration is not just about words. It's about faith. When we speak the blood, we are speaking in faith. We are believing that what we are declaring is true. The blood of Jesus is the foundation of our faith. And when we declare it, we are walking in the truth that the enemy cannot defeat us, cannot steal from us, and cannot destroy what God has promised.
Let's look at Hebrews 10:1920 where the word says, "Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus by a new and living way which he hath consecrated for us through the veil, that is to say, his flesh." Through the blood of Jesus, we have boldness to enter into the very presence of God. That means we have access to all the promises of God. When we declare the blood, we are declaring our access to all of heaven's resources. The blood of Jesus makes a way for us to receive God's protection, God's healing, God's provision, and God's favor. It gives us the boldness to approach God with confidence and say, "Father, I am standing in the victory of the blood of Jesus, and I receive all that you have for me today."
And so, beloved, I want to close this time together by encouraging you to declare the blood of Jesus over your life every day. Declare it over your family, your health, your finances, and every area of your life. Speak it out loud because your words have power. Proverbs 18:21 tells us, "Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof." Your words matter. When you speak the blood of Jesus, you are releasing life and victory into your situation.
Let's stand together right now and declare this victory in the blood of Jesus. I declare that I am victorious through the blood of Jesus. I declare that I am redeemed, healed, and set free by the power of the blood. The blood of Jesus covers me today and every day. I stand in the boldness of the blood. I stand in the victory of the blood. I am a conqueror through Christ Jesus. And the blood has made a way for me to walk in the fullness of all that God has promised. In Jesus' name, I declare it. It is done.
Let us pray together. Father, in the name of Jesus, we come before you today thankful for the precious blood of Jesus that has secured our victory. We thank you that through the blood we are redeemed. We are healed and we are free from every attack of the enemy. We declare that the blood is working in every area of our lives today. We walk in the victory of the blood and we stand in boldness knowing that we have access to your promises. Thank you Lord for the blood. Thank you for the victory. We give you all the glory, all the honor and all the praise. In Jesus mighty name we pray.
