Hello everybody and welcome back to the Wolf Hunters channel. Yo, my name is John of the Wolf Hunters and next to me the most beautiful woman I've ever sat next to in my life. It is Ali Hey and we are here to react to some music for you.

If you look beneath this video, you'll see some links in the description box. Go check them out. And you could even request your own reaction video using those links, which I think is a lot of fun. You should totally give it a try if you want to.

Anyhow, today's request is brought to us by an amazing requesttor who's pretty much taken over the uh the channel in a sense with8s beautiful requests. It is John J. and you've been sending us so many rare gems, obscure songs, stuff that's like deep cuts from the 80s. Usually it's really good. Let's read the note. It says, "Okay, my favorite band of all time. Since it is Memorial Weekend, I had to request something special. The final song on the final album that Alan Wilder worked on with the band. How good is Depes Mode?"

Well, this is so funny. When we are born, the doctor gives us all a slap on the butt. If we utter depes mode while we start to cry, he says it's a keeper. If we utter something like Madonna, the doctor says you may want to put him back in and try again. What the heck, dude? Uh, I am not sure that it's true, but it sounds like it should be. Happy Memorial Day and enjoy this absolute masterpiece.

Dude, you're hilarious. I love your crazy sense of humor. Very random. I enjoy that. Uh, we're probably we must be around the same age. I think I think my generation is the generation of random humor. I feel like I could be wrong, but I feel like that's a thing.

Anyhow, before we get into this one, we need your help. Everybody, if you guys love Depes Mode, hit that like button, subscribe to the channel, hit that notification bell, and definitely most assuredly go ahead and uh, you know, comment below, y'all. Let's go.

Very moody. So atmospheric on this one, man. I can taste more than feel. This burning inside is so real. I can almost lay my hands at far. The warm glow that lingers on you. Lift me higher. Let the souls on fire by a high I surrender all the consumes.

Whoa, this is so cool. And the name of the album, Songs of Faith and Devotion, is so interesting to me. I didn't know there was an album called that by Depes Mode. Or maybe I did know that and I forgot it. I don't know. I forget a lot of things. But that is kind of hitting me as I'm seeing that like, oh, that's really an interesting album title. You know, I wonder what inspired that or kind of what's going on that they wanted to call the album that. That's kind of cool.

Um, this song is so beautiful, very atmospheric. It still has that signature dark undertone that I love about Depesh Mode where there's this kind of longing and and sadness in the vocal. There is that same kind of feeling in the instrumental as well. Just the instruments that are chosen. It's in a minor key. There's a lot of reverb. It makes you feel kind of like you're in this cavernous space, you know? It's very, very cool. Yeah.

Uh I'm loving this song. Absolutely loving this. I love it. Very interesting. On fire by a higher That that synthesizer melody is so good, man. This is just so much that you can Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. I surrender soul sacrifice to my Fire. What great sound selection for this song. You layers are fun. Heat. Heat. Oh, heat, heat. Wow.

Oh my gosh, man. This song I zoned out for the last like minute and a half to two minutes cuz it's just flowing so well. Like I legit, you probably saw my eyes. I was just in another world with this song. Seriously. Whoa. Wow.

Okay, I do love Depesh Mode and I I'll be honest, this song right here feels like maybe the deepest Depes Mode song I've heard. It's possible. Maybe it maybe it's the top three. I don't know. But it just felt so rich, so deep. Yeah. You know, everything about that song just hit me in the heart. I love that.

Um, John, thank you so much, dude. Beautiful selection and happy a little bit belated Memorial Day. Uh, we are filming this a little bit after Memorial Day, but it's all good. Happy Memorial Day to you, bro. And everybody else, thank you for hanging out with us. If you enjoyed this reaction, hit that subscribe button. We'll see you again very soon, y'all. We love you.
