We don't live in London, right? But when we come back, there's a new artisan coffee shop or something. Some of them really stick and they just become institutions, and some disappear immediately. What, what's the difference between the ones that stick and the ones that don't?
It's always worth remembering. Okay. Any business, there are elements beyond your control. Let's optimize for internal operational efficiency because once we actually factor the real world in, into our equations, it all becomes too messy.
If we're being brutally honest, in any business startup, timing, over which you don't generally have control, plays a remarkable part in whether you succeed or fail. You know, if you happen to be the first burger gourmet burger chain versus the second one, you know, the consequences are going to be very different.
So, there's a path dependency that a lot of things, a lot of ducks have to either accidentally or intentionally be lined up before you can succeed in something. You don't necessarily fully control those variables or control them at all.
