Good morning, good afternoon, good evening to my subscribers and TikTok affiliate students. For today's class, what we will discuss is all about exclusive commission. So especially for new students, new TikTok affiliates, many still don't know what exclusive commission is. And for our advanced subscribers and TikTok affiliate students, you might be interested in requesting an exclusive commission for your hero products. So this is our topic for today. This won't be a very long class. I hope so. But I will give you an example of what exclusive commission is and how to request for an exclusive commission. So let's just chill today. Get your snacks, get your drinks. I don't know what you're doing while watching our classes. Some say they're bathing. Whatever your trip is, just listen for today. Again, this class is all about exclusive commission. It's good for beginners and especially for our advanced ones. Okay. So, first things first is I will show you first what the definition of exclusive commission is. So there, commission rate. The seller offers you an exclusive commission through a collab invite available only to creators who receive it. When the invite expires, you may receive the commission that the seller offers to our eligible creators. There. So for the new TikTok affiliates who don't know, when we look at a product, I will put the screenshot there. When we look at a product. You will see below what the potential potential estimated commission is that we can get from the item we want to promote. Usually, what you see there are the commissions or estimated commissions that are open publicly. Okay? Open for all, open publicly. Those are for the new TikTok affiliates. That's their offer. Okay? Whatever that is, whatever you see there for the products you promote, that's the usual. It could be 5%, 8%, something like that. So when you have an estimated commission, that's the exclusive rate or exclusive estimated commission that the seller sets just for you. Okay? It's either just for yourself or you are a group of TikTok affiliates receiving a specific amount of estimated commission. But personally, it's really just for you. Okay? This is what it looks like. For example, for a product I'm promoting, its public commission is just 8%. And you'll see there's a cross on the 8%. That means the 8% is what most people receive. Okay? Most people. However, they offered me a 10% exclusive commission. So that's 15.90 per sale. Imagine that if you can make a video go viral or you have a hero product and you get 15.90 per sale, imagine that accumulating. So you earn a lot just because the seller tried to offer you an exclusive commission. Okay? What else I can show you here? Here in the earning details. Because if you click this, let's go back here. Here in the promotion info, it says earn 15.90. You'll see there's an arrow, right? There's a sign here next to the 8%. If you tap that, you'll see the breakdown, usually, of the earning details. So you'll see total earnings, then estimated commission. And then if you click the letter I, you'll see the definition of exclusive commission. Now, sometimes here in the earning details, there's another breakdown. If the seller offers a different commission for shop ads, that's also visible. Okay? I'm not sure if that's visible for all, but sometimes right here in the earning details, there's a header. There's something here that says generic, and then it says shop ads because often, sellers spend money on our videos to boost us, especially for GMB Max, and then for Shop Ads, they lower the commission when your video has a checkout through shop ads and GMB Max. Okay. So personally, I still prefer exclusive commission over ads or checkouts from the seller's bonus because that's where I still earn. Okay. There. So what are the qualifications? Actually, there aren't many qualifications. Because it's more of a long-term trust relationship between the affiliates and the seller. If they give you an exclusive commission. Usually, they are the ones who offer, like, "Hey, Ara, um, we want you to promote this um product. Um, we're willing to give you 10% or 15% commission. Do you agree?" That's it. So sometimes they are the first to offer, especially if you have some reputation on TikTok, if your track record is good. But if you're someone who's just starting but you already have hero products, some of the things I can suggest in order for you to somehow get exclusive commission is to first look at your top products. Right? I showed you where you can find the dashboard where you can identify your top-performing products based on GMB. Look at the GMB immediately. What we will discuss here is not the highest estimated commission for your top products, but what are the items that contribute the highest GMB to the sellers' sales because that's what's important to sellers. So identify, let's say for the past 3 months. Check your data for the past 3 months. What are the top 10 or at least top five products that you made videos for, that performed well, went viral, etc.? How much GMB did you contribute? Let's say, for example, 50,000 GMB, 100,000 GMB, 1 million GMB, something like that, per product. So I think once you reach that level, where you provide consistent sales to your sellers. You create content for them every day, then it's time to request for an exclusive commission. Okay? Don't be shy to request for an exclusive commission in exchange for promoting their products. So sometimes, let's say for example, you have 5%, right? What if a seller says, "Um, I notice that I already contributed xxx amount of GMB." So, of course, calculate your GMB for the past 3 months of data. No, I gave you 300,000 GMB over the last um 3 months. Is it possible for me to request for an exclusive commission of at least 8%?" "Um, in return, this is what I'm going to do." So state what you will do. It's either, "I will post your videos three times a week," something like that. "I will make sure that the old trending videos will have engagement, you will reply to comments," something like that. Um, basically, what you're offering them is your service as a TikTok affiliate in exchange for the exclusive commission. Okay? Again, I think I've said this a few times in my videos. Um, sometimes I really prefer exclusive commissions over one-time big-time payments for videos. Um, because for me, especially if I know the product, it's easy for me to make a product trend, especially if I know the target audience. And sometimes the payment they offer me, let's say, okay, fine, 30,000, 35,000 per video. Um, it's not worth it. For me, though. For me, it's okay, we all have our own preferences. But for me, I like long-term. I always think about the long-term um long-term income versus the one-time big-time payment. So sometimes I say, okay, um, especially if the client doesn't have much budget, like, "This is what we can offer." So sometimes I decline, like, "Okay, um, I'm good with just exclusive commission instead." Instead of you guys paying me this much with your limited budget, just give me 15% or 20% commission. So often, they agree to that. Which, for me, is much more um, like a win-win for me because, as I said, I prefer long-term commissions, and I always create content for them, especially for the products that I have. Most of those are products for which I have exclusive commission. That's also why it's important for those advanced TikTok affiliates here, remember from the very beginning I've been telling you about your hero products, especially if you provide good GMB to the sellers. Talk to the sellers like treat them really as a partner, like befriend them because you want your relationships to grow so that when they have a different item, they can offer it directly to you. Another is exclusive commission, they will give you additional income when you promote many products under their shops. So it's really important to build a professional relationship between the affiliates and the sellers so that the benefits you get from each other are beneficial to both of you. No? Because if you just treat it like, "Okay, they gave me a sample, I made a video. That's it." You're missing out because there are also future benefits waiting for you. Especially if those items are your hero products. Especially if you always make videos for them. You have consistent checkouts from them. They could be hero products or potential hero products. And they have a lot of stock. Like I'll give you an example with shisoo and also um what do you call this? The luncheon meat. Mr. Squarel. I also have an exclusive commission with them because their stock is really abundant, and it's very worth it for me to create videos in batches or in vlogs for them because there are always conversions. I've established good videos in the past, so now every time I post a video, even just one, there's a checkout at the end of the day, it accumulates. So that's what you should look at: the seller's stock, your relationship with the seller. How is it? No. How often do you create videos for them? Um, and then your GMB, look at the GMB. In Tagalog, how much have I contributed to this seller's business? Right? Maybe you've already given them 100,000 GMB. That's a big deal. And what's wrong with a small bump in your commission? So, try to negotiate. It always starts with sending messages to the seller, like, "How are you? Hi seller. Um, this video is performing really well." "Um, I'm sending you the ad code, maybe you want to boost it?" We don't know who we're talking to most of the time. So when I talk to the sellers, it's usually English, unless they start speaking Tagalog because most of them are Chinese, or yes, usually they are Chinese. So do that. Don't be afraid to reach out first, also with the ad code. Um, well, I've said before that even if you turn off the changeable basket, it still changes, especially if it's already live. But sometimes what I do is, especially if we already have a relationship, I don't wait for them to ask for the ad code. I say, "Hi, I posted the sample already. Um, here's the ad code. Here's a 365 ad code or here's a 30-day ad code. Feel free to use it if you want to boost the video um or not." Just like that. And then continue with that. You will have communication, frequent communication. That's really my biggest advice, guys. Frequent communication and updating, especially if you have viral videos. Okay. Viral videos, consistent sales, low views but with checkouts. Those are the identifiers I always tell you. If you have videos with low views but with checkouts, still sell them to the seller. Say, "Seller, um, this video has um checkouts but only low views. What if? Um, let's try to put an ad budget on it." Something like that. Another tip, you know how shop ads lower the commission, and believe it or not, they can still increase it. So yes, sometimes they lower the commission because they spend on the views of our videos. But you can still request an exclusive commission through shop ads. Okay. If they agree. Um, I've done it with some sellers, especially when it's too low. For example, suddenly your commission is only 1% from 5% from 10%, something like that, through shop ads. Argue a bit. Don't be afraid, I promise. Because especially if you have trending videos, feel free to interact with them and call them out because you can hide the videos. You can delete the videos, technically. Because that's your right. You have ownership. You have copyright on all of your videos. Unless you sign a contract that you give full ownership of your video copyright to the seller. If not, then all of those are yours. Okay. So in that case, try to negotiate for exclusive commission, especially if they suddenly lowered your commissions through shop ads. Okay. So don't believe it when a seller says, "We have no control over shop ads commission." They do. They do have control. And they have control over who they give exclusive commissions to. It's per TikTok affiliate. They can customize it. It can be for the general public. You see the commission they give is only 3%, only 5%. Then try to negotiate for a better exclusive commission like 10%, 15%, 20%. Especially if you are the one revitalizing the product or if you are among the top creators. And then I think those are the things you can be proud of to the sellers to get an exclusive commission. Oh, right? Our lesson for today was quick. But don't worry because I think next week will be our heavier class. It's going to be a new blueprint again for the month of October. If not next week, the following week. After that, check our announcement for the schedule on your blueprint. Another thing I wanted to address is the um September 15 subscription becoming super fan. So I think I put it in our blue app, but I'll make a separate video about it. We will stick with um subscription first because as they say, um it's only for those people who wanted to upgrade. So by September 15, subscription will become super fans, or there will be an additional benefit for super fans, which is doing live. So remember before, I used to do live coaching calls. Now I can't do it here in the subscription because if I do that, you might all be charged Php600 a month, and I don't want that to happen. So I'll think of ways, but for now, it's safe to continue with subscription with your lower tiers, and I think there will be additional benefits like um chat rooms. We will have chat rooms within the subscription. Um, I think there will also be shoutouts. There will be shoutout requests. Ah, and I think there will be, I don't know if this is from your point of view on your screen as students, or from mine, but we can definitely direct message each other within the subscription, something like that, and then I'll know if you're a subscriber or not. There are still many things to improve within the subscription. And as I told you, the reason why I keep staying here is because it's easy to process everything, versus moving to another platform. But for now, let's stick with what we have right now. Um, I will observe it because September 15 is tomorrow. Any upgrades you notice, always check your subscription notice to see if you can downgrade. Okay? Because again, what I charge you here, the regular price is 275 a month. That's the lowest I can go. And then, um, if TikTok has a discount, I don't know about that. Also, I have no control again over refunds and everything. So if you get double charged, make sure to contact support with proof. So screenshots. So no. Um, what else? Mmm, important thing, September 13. Well, September 13 has passed. We all survived the content disclosure. I'm still, like, 50-50 with that. If you notice, I don't turn anything on unless it's paid, then I turn it on. But I've become more careful now on how I say things. Like, for example, instead of me always requesting things in my videos, I buy. So I always say in my videos that I got this from TikTok shop. Here's the screenshot that I purchased it during either a payday sale, a double-digit sale, something like that, and then I always have a disclaimer that prices may vary from the lowest. I tend to be careful now because although in all our videos we say that we got this, I want to be transparent also. So I say it in my video, "Guys, this was sent to me. I didn't pay for it. I didn't buy it. So this video is sponsored." So when I say that, "this video is sponsored," that already serves as a content disclosure. Um, what I noticed is that last week we experimented with those who were here. We experimented with my old videos that were converting, meaning they had 500,000 to 1 million views. I turned on some of those content because I wanted to understand and see if the traction would decrease. There weren't many changes. There were still checkouts and everything. But here's what I noticed. When you immediately turn on content disclosure, like before you post, and you already have a basket there, the movement of views and everything is really low because your video already has a label. It's either paid sponsorship or promotional content. So basically, people will feel like, "I'm being sold something." "Maybe this isn't an honest feedback." There's already a disclaimer that it's promotional. So those are what I've noticed. So I don't turn it on because I'm waiting for a notification. Okay guys, let's do our own thing when it comes to this. I'm just sharing with you what I'm doing. Feel free to follow, feel free to not follow. That's up to you. But I'm sharing what I'm specifically doing. Okay, I'm waiting for a notification. Just like when there was a policy with prices, the disclaimer. I'm waiting if there will be a notification like, "Ara, turn this on," or "Ara, is this video sponsored or blah blah?" Nothing. Nothing. So I don't know if it's still rolling out or if they're not too strict yet. So, but definitely, I'm still in the stage of observing. Um, so far, that's it. Now, with September 15, 25, I think they started early with non-interactive and repetitive content. Um, guys, my suggestion is please read the community guidelines and also the video I posted last time about this. This recent one I posted about interactive content, especially for those who are faceless. First of all, you can have a faceless account. Whoever said faceless is not allowed, please report them for misinformation because that's not true. What's being said is to minimize repetition of whatever is in your video, minimize bulk uploading of the same product, same everything, same background. And then what you have to do is to make sure your video quality is good. High quality. When we say high quality, it doesn't mean you need fancy lights and a full setup. It means you've delivered well what that product is for, what problem it solves. You've executed the product well. That's what that policy means, non-interactive, non-engaging content. I don't want to receive messages from students saying, "Coach, why was I banned, why was I restricted?" And then when I look at your profile, "Damn, everything is the same. One product, like this, like this, all hands are like this, or you made your feed your profile picture, your face is all over it, you just changed the title." Two students have messaged me about that. Please stop that. That's what causes restrictions. Again, you can have a faceless account. You can do hand gestures like that, but add voiceover and everything. Okay. Okay. That's it. That's it. I'll be the next one to create content about the guidelines. But that's it for now. Again, exclusive exclusive commission is super beneficial long-term. Okay? Always think about the long-term benefit. And again, start building a good relationship and professional relationship with your brands and sellers that you work with. Another thing before I end this video, one of my most hero products is this. This is really our most hero product. Um, I wanted to collaborate also with the students. So I'm just gathering my time because I have so many things to do right now, guys. I'm so busy. Um, I'll shoot the video. Again, you guys get the first dibs. To my subscribers, you guys get the first dibs to register for free sampling and other stuff they want to give you and support. And then after that, I'll post it on the bulletin, and then after that, I'll post it publicly. But again, wait for the video. If I have time tonight, I'll post it tonight. If not tonight, this week, okay? This coming week. So I'm excited for that because they are really my solid, solid client since I started here on TikTok. So that's it. I hope that's good. Again, this video will be uploaded on your GDrive and also on your YT unlisted links just in case TikTok acts up and you can't play this video. So I guess that's it for me. I'll see you guys next Sunday for your next class. He.
