And women biologically are predisposition to reproduce with the top men. And if women are given the choice, they would rather have no offspring than offspring of an average guy.
All right, what's up guys? Welcome to my reaction series. Today, we're reacting to a woman talking about being over 40 with no kids and if she regrets it or not. Now look, I'm not black and white on this channel because, you know, I've met some women that just on God's green earth were not meant to be mothers. Like they're so irresponsible with their personal life. I pray to God I don't think every woman's meant to be a I think they regret it, some don't, and some pretend they don't, but they do. So let's see what camp she's in.
Welcome back to Wandering with Jenny. Today, we're going to talk something more on the personal side of things. So, one thing that I get asked all the time is do I regret some of the choices that I made in life? Not getting married and not having kids and being over the age of 40. Do I have regrets? Let's talk about it. So, do I have regrets? No, I don't have any regrets. Yeah.
A lot of women are just too selfish to have kids. >> I mean, we've grown up in a society and culture and religion that tells us that we have to have kids by the age of 20 or 25 and be married and, you know, we grew up with Snow White and Cinderella and always trying to find that Prince Charming. Dating scene is a little bit harder and I've tried it and I don't know, I'm just not meant >> Most people don't change and if you weren't like, if you don't have the personality to be obedient and submissive, um, it's very difficult to learn. It's a lot of work and if you don't want to do it, it's just, you know, Some women look at her not meant to be moms. for online dating or anything like that. Maybe I'll meet someone one day, but right now I'm actually extremely happy with my life. I have been able to focus on myself, focus on my own mental health, and I'm I'm happy with it. So, when it comes to regrets on not being married right now, I don't have regrets.
Now, when it comes to kids, I I think everybody, men and women, want someone that they can raise and teach and show them all the I think men are more nurturing than women. I think more men regret not having kids than women do. Because more men I I think more men have that paternal inch Like, men just get joy from teaching kids. Like, I just have never I In my opinion, the men that I know that are the most fulfilled at work get to like teach and coach other men. Like, men just get a joy from it. I don't see that with women. I don't. >> different things in this life. In my 20s, I was dead set. I was not having kids. I worked with kids and as I love them, I just couldn't see myself raising a child. Um in my 30s, I Well, again, in the beginning was not really into having kids. We talk a lot [music] on this show about sexual market value. You guys know the deal. I met someone, we tried, and unfortunately it was unsuccessful. But, um no, I don't regret not having kids. You know, who knows? You know, maybe I will adopt in time. I still feel like I'm still young that I can still do something like that. The one thing that I have so much respect for for the generations that are coming up is they're not rushing into that stuff. They're not rushing to settle down. They're, you know, focusing on their careers. >> I think she might regret it more cuz she's still kind of cute. Um, so she could still do decent in dating, but in another 10 years she's going to be kind of cooked. Focusing on themselves and >> I think where it gets hard for women is when they start getting sick. Um, so before they have health issues, but um, I don't know. The The one thing about life is that over a certain age, there's so many mothers that basically are like didn't have kids cuz their kids hate them. Cuz they're such terrible moms.
I truly admire that the kids are not following the social norms anymore and it's incredible to see that, you know, as a society, we're changing. And I think that's one thing actually that does need to change. I also think that as a society, the one thing that we have not learned yet is that when we meet someone that is still single and doesn't have kids, we always feel the need to ask why. Like, "Aren't you like lonely?" Or, you know, "Are you missing out on things in life?" Or, you know, I my goal here today is for the people who feel the need to ask those questions. I mean, truly, one, I don't really think it's anyone's business, but at the same time, you know, I'm sure there are women out there >> Look at she couldn't secure a guy that was good enough in her eyes for her to reproduce with. That's what happened. And and women biologically are predisposition to reproduce with the top men. And if women are given the choice, they would rather have no offspring than offspring of an average guy. That's the way we're designed, that's the way we're built. You can hate on it, but that's just how it is. >> who are single, who don't want to be, and they just have not found that right person. And there are women out there, and men out there, whatever, who want to have a family, and unfortunately, for certain circumstances, they're not able to. So, I think when people approach this subject, I think it is like every other touchy subject out there. You have to approach it in a more respectful manner. We can't just keep making people feel guilty about >> Again, she's saying, you know, they can make me feel guilty. Nobody can make you feel anything. Nobody, you know, that shame comes from within. So, it's either something the devil's making you feel, like it's something that's in you. So, you can't be mad if somebody else brings it out of you. Okay. Oh, it's not having kids, or not finding their their perfect soulmate. Or, I think the other thing that we have to remember, too, is Things that women are putting above having kids, travel, clock clock 9000, sex work, literally anything else. Again, when you when you see do women want to have children, Uh, do women do when given the choice? Women kill their kids when given the choice. Women almost kill more kids than than we have. So, that's a good question. Have more kids been born or been killed by mothers in the last 10 years? If you count abortion I'm I'm going to look that up.
>> Not everybody who is single or >> [clears throat] >> without kids is career-driven because I wasn't and I'm not. I mean, for me I have a job. I have a 40-hour a week plus week um job and it's not a career. It's just a job and I'm happy and I'm content with it. And I think that's the another thing that we are missing is that we're so caught up in >> Okay, so in the last 10 years 73 million uh per year over 10 years that's 730 million and live births um over 10 year Okay, I 1.35 billion um have been born to 730 killed. Million killed. So, what if we did Okay, what about the last 5 years? Let's see. Okay, I guess I guess uh 5 years 670 All right. All right. Two to one. I'm just saying we kill like a third of the kids. That's not good. And what society tells us that we need to have or need to do. Now, society tells women um Hold on. Okay. Uh society tells women to not have kids. So, I don't know this is kind of cope saying that society tells us to have kids. Society says to do whatever you want, queen. That we forget what like the most important thing and that is yourself. And you know, it's it's so hard to see people coming out. I mean, 20 years ago and I I am going to do a video on anxiety and and depression and mental health. It's nice to see that people are starting to come out, but it's so scary to see the amount of people in droves that are coming out with depression and anxiety. And I think Okay. Um again, like women what women want to do is women want to do their own thing and not have children. Um what's good for women isn't necessarily what we want to do. And that's kind of the channel at the impasse we're at is that women don't want to be mothers and don't want routine and want to be spontaneous and travel the world and do all this stuff. But, um what makes us happy in the long term is routine. So, anyways.
All right, guys. Let me know what you think in the comments. Um if you can, like the video on your way out and subscribe to the channel. I love you. Thanks for watching. I'll see you next time.
