And this is where it doesn't make sense to me knowing Trump. You've told me this. I know this. Most people know this. He follows the polls. He knows what's going on. He knows how people are responding to him. He's addicted to all of them. He likes to know how well he's doing. And his polls are record lows.
Yeah.
And you also pointed this out earlier. In the summer leading up to October 7th, that nation Israel was on the brink of civil unrest. People were in the streets against the minority elected government of Benjamin Netanyahu for the constitutional powers he tried to strip from the judicial system for his own gains. And we just saw another one a week and a half ago, 2 weeks ago, where people were out in the streets by the tens of thousands.
Mhm.
In Tel Aviv asking for an inquiry into October 7th. Good for them, man.
Yeah.
You know, and and that's when I look at people.
[snorts]
I don't I don't want to call out people who are on the ground who obviously have brought some good exposure to this stuff. So, I'm going to say stay away with names in these examples, but you see people who go over to Israel and get some of the citizens, man on the street, on record saying awful things.
Yeah.
And those are real. Those people are real. They're not like paid actors, and they are saying those things.
Yeah.
You don't see all the people that don't say those things though, too. You know, I'm not sitting here and saying like, "Oh, your average Israeli person just loves every person in Palestine." I'm not saying that. It's there's definitely some.
There's variety.
There's dislike across the board in in a lot of ways, and it's a tough situation. But like no, they're not all saying we should [ __ ] nuke the place. There actually are people over there with humanity. The ones who get the voice and the ones who are given the power, including in the media. Like on the talking head media are the people who don't speak like that. And they speak in what I would describe as fully monstrous inhumane ways.
Yeah.
And support policies that can then bring about those things. And that's wrong. A lot of times you'll see these nasty reports about Netanyahu and the government coming from Israeli publications though.
Yeah.
And they don't get credit for that and they should. Good for them. Keep doing it. You know, and so I never with anything like to throw the baby out with the bathwater. And I'll die on that hill with anyone and anything. And there's been times in my career where we talk about certain issues and it's like I think I fell short. In in you know, even just like the way you describe it. Right? And the way you talk about something or generalize things. And I really try not to do that. But I have. And this is this is like the issue of the moment right now. And it's been a long [ __ ] moment. And it's still going on. And so if I'm going to speak really strongly against it as I am, I also want to make sure I get it right and get the temperature right so that there's not collateral damage in ways that there shouldn't be.
Yeah.
And this is where it doesn't make sense to me knowing Trump. You've told me this. I know this. Most people know this. He follows the polls. He knows what's going on. He knows how people responding to him. He's addicted to all of them. He likes to know how well he's doing. And his polls are record lows. Literally the other day he said, "Are you are you concerned about people's financial well-being or whatever?"
think about it at all.
He doesn't think about it at all.
Insane.
But he's saying these things so blatantly and I'm like, "Look, whether you like Trump or not, got himself into office. He's a clever dude at times. He's smart. He's doing so many things that are operating so differently from the previous Trump term I'd even say."
Yep.
"That make no sense in whatever way that you saw last time you were like, I my neighbor, this actually a great story. I was going for a walk with my dog Cora. And my neighbor comes up and he was pacing. And I I just like, "Hey bro, Juan, what's going on?" Puerto Rican guy. Um and he just was just ripped. He was like, "I need to talk to someone about this." And I was like, "What's going on?" He's like, "I just retired 4 years ago. I just voted for this dumbass president." His words. And gas is now up another dollar. The stock market's out of control. He's like, "I'm about to have to go get another job and I retired 5 years ago." And he's like, "I can't keep doing this. What the hell is he doing?" He's like, "I'm talking to my family. We're He's losing us. He's lost us at this point." Honestly, those were his words. And I'm like, "Damn, this is a guy that had an F Joe Biden flag flying around when I went down there." An F Joe Biden. And here he is livid, pissed off, and I'm like, "Trump, this is your This is your base right here." This was a MAGA guy not afraid to show how much he loves you. I think he had to had it at one point, wearing a round MAGA hat.
Never was his base.
And now he's going against all those promises. And it's obvious we can be like, "He's going against the promises, whatever." But knowing Trump for who he is, the fact he's doing so many things to anger his voter base, saying the sly comments of like, "I'm not concerned about their financial situations." Or the gas of oil, the barrel oil is not even that bad. It doesn't make any sense from the Trump we know. So.
Listen, some of it makes sense to me. Some of it.
So that's where I want to go with is I guess making some presumptions, maybe with no evidence. Why do you think he's doing these things? If he was so tuned in before, he's essentially become the opposite in so many ways. And he's know He knows he's losing his base. He won't admit it on camera, but I bet behind closed doors he's like, "My polls are so low. What the heck? Why?" Like, why would he do this?
he cares. I It's been opposite day for him.
[snorts]
I will be extremely excited if I'm wrong about what I'm about to say. And And shout it from the rooftops and give him a ton of credit if he does 180s on a bunch of stuff. But right now I think Donald Trump is shaping up to be the biggest Trojan horse in the history of our country.
Okay.
He is openly allied and inviting in the full-blown surveillance state down to the [ __ ] FISA laws, forget even Palantir and and all that. He is hobnobbing with the elites and protecting them including the most insane elite pedophile ring to ever exist that we know of. You know, he is [snorts] sticking a middle finger not in the face but straight up the ass of people like Juan and his base of everyday Americans who supported him and believed that, you know, he was going to have their back. He not only does it with his policies, he does it with his verbiage. He's always been off the cuff with verbiage and says dumb [ __ ] But like he's saying things that five years ago he would never in a million years have said. In fact, he would have said the complete opposite. And what none of this does, objectively speaking, is suddenly now rewrite history and say, "Therefore, Joe Biden was a good president. Kamala Harris was a good candidate." No, hold two thoughts at the same time. They were terrible, too.
Yes. Yes.
For different reasons, for the most part. But like they were terrible, too.
Mhm.
The idea was that, well, they tried to indict Trump, they tried to kill Trump, they tried to cancel him off the internet. You know, he must be better. And I I will never ever talk down to someone for making that decision at the ballot at the ballot box. That's not fair. They're going off what they could see.
Yeah.
And what they could see, I understand why they felt that way. So, I I have a guy like Juan, anyone shaming him or people like him for voting for Trump, [ __ ] you. He made the best decision with the information he had at the time. And maybe he has different political opinions than you out there who don't like that he did that, but that's what it is. That's called America.
Mhm.
You can't control what these people do. And the level of lies that Donald Trump has told, Biden wasn't alive enough to tell this many lies. I think he probably would have. He definitely told a lot of lies, but I don't even think he knew what was going on. His administration certainly did.
Yeah.
These are different kinds of lies. They're lies nonetheless. And I'm just you know, I'm disgusted by it. I don't I I I don't have another word for it. I I I don't even know what to think of it, but I I hope this is like a temporary brain aneurysm.
Yeah.
That or something, like figuratively, not literally, that he's having and suddenly he's going to wake up tomorrow and at least be like, all right, you know, let's pull the gas prices down, get out of Iran, stop doing [ __ ]
And like not even be good, just don't be bad.
Mhm.
Like I'm not even saying like suddenly go be great as a president. I would love you to be, but like just don't be a [ __ ] train [clears throat] wreck. He's a train wreck. And you know, like you said, he just the guy who the most aware of any [ __ ] poll ever guy has suddenly become completely blind to 99.999% of polls. And is completely blind to issues of the day for his people. And that's that's not the fault of of his people and his supporters. So, I I listen, I I I hate political shaming of all kinds. Yes, there are cringey people on the left and the right on the far ends that are kind of fun to make fun of and always have been, but I'm saying like for the majority of people who are not in the back, you know, 5% on either side who invariably make a decision in an election one way or the other, the political shaming of them having to be held to every [ __ ] decision that person then makes is wrong. That's not American. And I'm I'm never going to do that. But yeah, just like you critique every president, you're you're going to critique the [ __ ] out of this guy right now.
Yeah.
And you should. He's He's Bush-Cheney 3.0 right now.
As things stand.
Mhm.
Hasn't had time to do that kind of damage. I'll give him that.
Yeah.
Like it's early. But bar for bar, word for word.
Mhm.
He's just stealing. And and and that's not That's [laughter] not That's not a good administration to steal from.
No.
You know? So.
Real quick, can I just use the.
Yeah, me too.
All right, perfect. Okay, we're back. Um we're just talking about Trump. So, this turns into another billion-dollar question. And if you're feeling uncomfortable answering it, that's fine.
I mean, we're already this far.
Yeah, we're already this far. And I want also D's point of view on this just because I think it's important to get another perspective to this as well. But optically speaking, we're saying how he's betrayed his voters in so many ways, Trump has. One of the biggest promises he said he made and he was going to do was release the Epstein files. And the first thing he did, I guess, when he came into office, maybe it was a month later or 2 months, I can't remember, he had the conservative release the Epstein files moment, right? Where all the conservative influencers were like, "Here are the binders, you know, promises made, promises kept." You kept hearing all them, his lawyer, Alina Habba, everybody were making these comments that were releasing the files. Turns out, most of it was redacted. It was the same thing, nothing happened. And then it was like the voter base was getting frustrated cuz it's like, "You made this promise, just release it." You had Pam Bondi, who's now gone, who said, "There is 3 million files on my desk, you know, I'll release it tomorrow." Nothing happens, and then we get the Democrat House Committee to release some files. And then we had the big batch, which was in January 28th, if I remember correctly, release another huge batch with the 2-hour interview with Steve Bannon. And it just seemed like we were pulling teeth to get these files released that he promised to do, and he kept waving it off being like, "There's no Epstein files." Or the not not not that there's no Epstein files, but who who cares about this Epstein guy? Let's move on, who cares?" So, optically speaking, you see all these points of evidence where he's refusing to release it or begrun- begrun- begrudgingly, I think that's the word, releasing it. He has people in his cabinet speaking on behalf of him being like, "We're not doing this, we're not doing that." With Pam Bondi, Todd Blanche now. And we can't get the rest of the files. Can you see when people say "This guy looks like he's being blackmailed by Israel and is in the files." Can you see that they might have a point there?
Absolutely.
Yeah.
Yeah, so he's a sitting president. And that does, whether people like it or not, that's how I look at this stuff. That means if you were going to go out and make that claim and stamp it, you got to get a lot of evidence for it. And you know, we've pointed out there were times with this case years ago and over the years were is one thing I actually defended him on cuz there are things in the history of [clears throat] it to defend him on like where he helped guys like Brad Edwards the only person to do it in [ __ ] '07, you know, where he's on record with the FBI in '06 like this guy's a problem. He kicked them out of Mar-a-Lago and stuff like that even though there's more to it than that as we later found out and he stopped hanging out with them and stuff and and there's a lot of things to be like, "Hey, W, okay, like you you did something right." We've put out and discussed over all the episodes Dave and I are doing all these little tidbits of like, "Ooh, that doesn't look great. Ooh, that's related to him." or like, "Ooh, yeah, let's talk about that with Trump." but we have not done a full episode where we either say the case for or against Donald J. Trump as it pertains to Jeffrey Epstein.
Mhm.
And that is because right now on the evidence that has been released, we don't have enough on that case yet to make it.
Interesting.
have as much information as I could on to make a case against someone like Bill Clinton.
Yeah.
His political opposite.
Yeah.
Or what they allege publicly. That said, I have no choice but to believe he's guilty of something.
Mhm.
As an opinion. Piers back. Because of how he's handled this and the way he talks about it. You can ask any defense attorney in America to review his press conferences and his statements about it and say, "Is this how a guilty client behaves or is this how a not guilty client behaves?"
Yeah.
And anyone who is worth even $2 an hour will tell you with the exception of someone who has skin in the game.
Yeah.
Will tell you this is how a guilty client behaves. It's like if I did it by O.J. Simpson type vibes.
Yeah.
And to see him piss in the face of not just his base, but this is something [ __ ] anyone who's even slightly aware of this agrees on, saying we want it. And say it's a hoax and you're not getting it. Go [ __ ] yourself.
Mhm.
And then they try to say he's the most transparent of all the administrations ever. And to be clear, every Yeah, deep lapse. He's right to laugh. But like, [laughter] to be clear, every administration's covered it up for the last five administrations. Let Let's not just blame him on that. I'll give Donald Trump that. And yes, he has released more than any administration previously. I will also give him that. But he Streisand effect it effected it. Cuz he's like, all right, here's your [ __ ] slop. By the way, it's really bad. It's not just slop.
Yeah.
But yeah, no, no. We're not going to release that other stuff. Oh, you passed a bill about that? [ __ ] you. We're not releasing that.
Yeah.
And he gets away with it.
Yeah.
Donald Trump his administration in some way breaks the law. Think about this. Same guy that they indicted over a phone call for Ukraine in 2018 breaks the law. And nobody indicts him. Yet, at least. But, you know what I mean? Like.
Yeah.
Donald Trump Like They convicted this guy in like fake felonies. I'll I'll give him that. That [ __ ] wasn't real. This same guy.
Yeah.
And they're not impeaching him over this. What does that tell you? They're all complicit.
Mhm.
All of them.
Yep.
If you're a Democrat or Republican listening, it don't matter. It's all of them.
Yeah.
And so, yeah. I can't make a full case yet on the evidence, but there's a lot of evidence we're missing.
Yeah.
And I feel like I I would probably, based on how he's behaving, it seems like I'd be able to cook him.
Yeah.
If I had it. And if I do get it, sitting president or no sitting president, he's going to get cooked.
