Now I sit on this chair. So what? Nothing. Now I have weights in my hands. People don't stay close to me. And I will start spinning. Spinning. So what? Nothing interesting.

Now I bring my hands towards my body, and I'm dizzy. I slow down. I am spinning fast. And I slow down. I'm dizzy. That's conservation of angular momentum. Fundamental law of nature. When these weights are far away from me, I have large rotational inertia and small speed of rotation. When I bring them together, I have small rotational inertia but much larger speed of rotation.
