Ayatollah Ali Kamini, hardline cleric, which really does sound like a Diablo class and build, passes away at 86. And I mean, technically speaking, that is a correct description. He was a pretty hardline cleric. It is true. But even so, this really gives me some strong Washington Post vibes. Remember when they referred to the recently killed leader of ISIS as an 'aure religious scholar'? I mean, again, technically correct, and I suppose you could very well argue that it costs nothing to be gracious towards a defeated foe. But I would equally so argue in counter to this that it is gratis as well to call them what they were: tyrannical, religious, mass-murdering maniacs.
But oh well, details, details, as I am not here to criticize headlines. I am here to tell you why it's okay when Donald Trump does it. As posts like these were popping up all over social media when America decided to finally bomb, bomb, bomb Iran. And it's the classic thing like, "Oh my god, Americans will die in their thousands! It's World War III! Everything will go to hell! Missiles will rain from the sky! Nuclear Armageddon!" Ah, the usual panic and fear-mongering that was outdated about, oh, 20, 30 years ago, roughly, although we will see talking points even older than that today, and obviously the murder of countless children for shits and giggles in all due likelihood, of course.
So, first and foremost, why is it okay when Trump does it? Point number one: it's bloody effective. As you've got Putin here, the leader of Russia, going, "The assassination of Iranian supreme leader is a brutal murder that violates all ethic and international law." That's very high praise coming from a man that has habitually attempted to violate all ethical and international laws for the near entirety of his reign, who is right now, in fact, in the middle of doing all of that for what had been now four years in Ukraine, not just against the Ukrainians, but against his own military as well.
And the pièce de résistance, the best possible part of this, the one post that really makes you understand just how unfathomably effective this round of strikes has been, is Iran itself calling on the United Nations to hold an emergency meeting. "Please, please, please, UN, make the Americans stop bullying us! If the international community does not respond to this aggression, it will be the end of the international institutions!" This is coming from Iran, the country that declared a few decades ago that it was going to spread the Islamic Revolution across the world until the entire planet called out, "There is no God but Allah!" Now they're calling out, "Please, please, make the Americans stop bullying us!" As, again, this round of strikes has been remarkably effective across the board. It has wiped out basically the entirety of the Iranian command structure like that. Pretty much, it couldn't have gone better.
And beyond simply being incredibly effective, here's part two of why it's okay when Trump does it. Because, of course, a lot of the argumentation around this surrounds things like, "Oh, you know, Trump promised no new wars." And to be fair, this isn't a war. This is an ass-whooping. There is a difference between the two, a rather pronounced one, in fact, just like there was no war with Venezuela. As what's Venezuela going to do? Load up in boats and invade Florida? But then we have also, of course, the reception to it. Hassan here, judging by mainstream media coverage that resembled 2003, at which point, as the chatterbear points out, he was 11, or the billionaire Epstein-affiliated own social media algorithms, because, you know, Elon and Epstein were buddy-buddies, definitely. You'd think the American public was universally in favor of war with Iran. Yeah, in fact, a lot of them appear to be, as several lefties have spotted this as well. I keep seeing comments like, "They didn't even bother doing a propaganda campaign this time." Do they need to? No. The American people are completely pacified. Where are the mass anti-war protests like we had with Vietnam and Iraq? Nowhere. That's because, actually, this is pretty popular with the American people, it seems like.
Because here's point two: why it's okay when Trump does it. This is not, in all due likelihood, I hope, going to be another adventure into the sandbox of sadness. This is utilizing the American military in the way it is actually supposed to be utilized: as a very large and very threatening stick that arrives with great triumphant fanfare, shock, and awe, and is then withdrawn. You do not simply abandon the stick on the ground for anyone, everyone to pick it up and turn into IEDs. You deploy the stick and then you go back home again. As Trump's goal here, no doubt, is to institute regime change in Iran, first and foremost, by murdering the majority of the leadership, including unconfirmed, mind you, reports of the second in command having caught a 500 lb bomb to the head as well. And obviously, there are going to be a whole line of succession for all of these Iranian positions. And Trump's goal is going to make the next guy who's stepping up to the plate wonder, "Do I really want to live with a predator drone circling my head for the rest of my life? Is that truly worth it?" Along, hopefully, with a general destruction of the Iranian Republican Guard, which might then allow the protesters to move out in the open and institute a regime change via, in essence, a civil war in Iran.
Now, hopefully, that would be a swift civil war. But as we have seen with other places in the Middle East, that can hardly be guaranteed. Though with continued American intervention and aid, which at the moment seems at least partially likely, it can be made a hell of a lot swifter than the alternative is. As everybody agrees that the Iranian regime is not good, not for anyone, not for the people of Iran, not for its neighbors, not for world peace, certainly not for America's position in the world. And so it should be deposed if it can be done safely and effectively. You may also remember a few, what, weeks ago now, because history is moving at Mach 11 pace, Trump commented during the latest round of Iranian uprisings that whilst he would have wanted to try and do something then, he did not yet have assurances from his military leaders that they could carry out a campaign guaranteed to destabilize and/or cut the head of the Iranian regime, which is why they did not do it, probably because a majority of the American planning capacity at the time was dedicated to abducting Maduro in the middle of his sleepy times. Now, however, America has done just that, and on a scale that I genuinely don't think has ever been done before. This kind of decapitating strike is practically unprecedented, frankly, unless you go back to ancient times.
So since this is America being used effectively, it is a regime destabilized at the very least at the loss of a grand total so far of three Americans, which, whilst that is, of course, tragic, it's a relatively good trade. Let's be honest here. And again, that is why Trump, it's okay when Trump does it. It has high impact and very low risk compared to the usual American doctrine of, "Okay, first, let's destroy anything and everything that could possibly potentially secure the nation, such as its army or police force, for example. Then we will move in and manually replace all of those stabilizing agents whilst we try to continue to convince the civilization of goat-herding savages who live literally in the 1400s that liberal liberal democracy is the way forward." So as soon as we've, you know, educated them for another 10, 20, 30 odd years and deprogrammed them out of religion and Islam in general and their way of life, elevated their living standards and basically built a whole new country, which, as it turns out, is really [expletive] hard. Really hard. Instead, what Trump is doing is simply go in, hit it, and get on out again with a minimum of collateral damage and/or casualties.
Now, there was the school, apparently, that was struck on an Iranian army base. Now, that one's a little bit interesting because, on the one hand, the entirety of the US Navy and Air Force's arsenal is literally designed specifically to have an air radius of like 10 meters. It is weaponry designed quite explicitly to be deployed against enemies that like using human shields, as was the case here, as this school allegedly was on an Iranian Republican Guard base, literally the soldiers holding up their children going, "You can't bomb this!" Now, maybe the Americans missed, simply. Maybe the Israelis missed. Or maybe some piece of Iranian ordnance that sent up to intercept something also missed. Who even knows? But this is also, at the very least, simply just casualties of the conflict. And whilst tragic, yet again, compared to the alternative, as, um, I do wonder, how is, how does the Iranian regime treat girls? Hmm, I wonder if Islam has some weird rules around that. Hmm, somehow I feel as if you actually manage to destabilize a regime and get rid of it, there will be a better future for a far larger majority, really.
And thirdly, why it's okay when Trump does it, it's because retards like these will rehash 30-year-old arguments believing they still hold some sort of weight. No, America is not doing this for oil. They are not doing it for Shell, Chevron, or BNP. First and foremost, because war doesn't really help with oil prices anymore. Not only that, we are moving more and more towards renewable alternatives. Oil prices work a little bit differently. And you can, in fact, see this in the reaction of the OPEC countries, who have now announced they will increase their own production of oil. Why would they do this? Well, because oil is about to get scarcer on the global level. As global oil becomes scarcer, the price of oil rises. But you don't want the price of oil to rise. It destabilizes economies, and it actually screws over the oil companies almost as much as everybody else, as now nobody can actually afford their oil anymore, pushing yet further green alternatives. Nor, obviously, do they want the price of oil to fall too low. And so OPEC will increase the production rates of oil so as to bring the scarcity back down again to settle the value of oil at roughly the point where it was previously. So no, they're not doing this for oil. And he's not doing it for Epstein either, you absolute morons. Jesus Christ, come on. And even big hummus? I really don't think so. I mean, I've seen the allegations now that Israel will reveal secret documents, the Russian piss document all over again, I'm sure, about how Trump was actually buddy-buddy with Epstein despite all of the evidence to the contrary in the actual Epstein files. But oh well. And furthermore, do you really think Trump is the kind of guy who will back down to blackmail? Really? Genuinely, you think Israel will watch him kidnap a South American dictator in the middle of the [expletive] night from his own capital? And this after he bombed the [expletive] out of the Iranian nuclear program and think to themselves, "Yes, this is a man that responds well to being threatened"? Hey, no.
If you want an actually global or geopolitical strategic reason for why this is happening, one, I genuinely do believe it is because Trump wished he could have done it during the latest round of uprisings, and he is actually probably doing this in what he perceives to be the best interest of the Iranian people. I genuinely do believe that. And secondly, there is a wonderful little side effect from all of this. With Venezuela destabilized and their oil production a bit up in the air, that is one of China's many global suppliers of oil taken out. And try to guess real quick who Iran's primary customer is when it comes to their export of their various liquid natural resources and gases. Yes. See, China finds itself right now in a position where, seeing as Taiwan is beginning to receive Western arms shipments again, being allowed to buy more modern fighter planes and main battle tanks, China knows that it needs to act quite swiftly before an invasion becomes quite literally hopeless. It is already difficult beyond belief for them to take Taiwan, which is a heavily militarized island with an enormous air force considering its size and relative potential. If it gets suitably reinforced by mass-produced modern Western airplanes and tanks, it will turn a near impossible task into a literally impossible one. Meaning that China has to act soon or never at all. Well, what do you think might be one of the first things that China will want to amass before it has to act? Oh, maybe a strategic reserve of certain valuable strategic resources upon which the entirety of their war machine relies. Hmm, and suddenly all of those connections are being severed one by one to the point where now Russia is pretty much the only other major delivery provider to China that can't be cut off with a phone call from Washington. Hmm, see, I don't think Trump is actually anywhere near as crazy or as [expletive] as many people claim him to be. And these are pretty obvious strategic benefits that anyone in his military command staff could have informed him of to yet further bolster his resolve to strike Iran in order to try and liberate the Iranian people. As, again, I point out here, what is Trump's biggest, most defining feature beyond the orange powder of his skin, I suppose, or his hair? His ego. The man wants to be remembered. And what better way to be remembered than liberating a [expletive] country?
Now, whether or not that will actually happen is open to some speculation. Perhaps the Iranian line of succession and command is robust enough to absorb the casualties. It is entirely conceivable that it could. Perhaps the Iranian people will simply choose to not rise up again, fearing further repercussions, a lie along the lines of what happened to them the last time they tried. Perhaps they will not be willing to risk it again without explicit guarantees from the US. Or maybe, indeed, that the Iranian regime is replaced by an even more hardline, aggressive one. Entirely possible. It might even be that the country now simply devolves into another 10-year-long civil war that will claim unfathomable quantities of human life. All of this is possible. But at the very least, it is something. It is a hope in a situation in which none actually existed prior to it, and it will all be done with a bare minimum of American damage. So that's why it actually is okay when Trump does it.
