Hi everybody, it's Anna. Welcome to the Thursday card in this week's tarot story. This is one of two major arcana cards we have here at the end of the tarot story. And major arcana cards connect to life lessons.

So our lesson for today is the wheel of fortune. This is the number 10 card in the major arcana. So really it's a one card because the 10 reduces to one, which means it's the seed of something new. We're planting something new. And this card happens pretty much in the middle of the major arcana. And I think it splits the major arcana into two pieces. The first part of the major arcana, a 1 to nine, is about navigating our way in the physical world. So it is about our relationship to the physical world and and usually like releasing old um stories or mindsets or or wounds that that that we've we've gotten from other people or the physical world, right?

But once you've done that, then you the journey shifts into not being about the physical world, but being about the internal world, right? So the wheel of fortune is the seed we plant to learn how to do a different kind of navigation where we're not focusing on the outside world as the source of our problems or our solution, but actually recognizing that everything happens internally. This this internal navigation is where things are solved and and where where where blessings are opened up.

So wheel of fortune basically tells us it's actually a lesson for the mind. This is a this is helping the mind learn something new, which is, you know, don't worry about the bear out there. Don't don't focus so much on survival in the physical world. That's not what we're here for, by the way. That's not going to work. We're not going to survive the physical world. So, like that can't be what we're doing. That's not going to be successful. So, instead, we're going to focus on this internal journey where where we actually do have the capacity to create magic and have connections and love and produce amazing things. So, we're asking the mind to to stop focusing outside and internally.

So, the wheel of fortune helps the mind do that by teaching the mind to be non-attached and non-resistant. Which means the mind recognizes that we're teaching the mind this is an impermanent world. There is no way to create solid structures that last forever. No way to create connections that last forever. Like everything we've got is only here for a season. And and so we have to the mind has to get comfortable with loss. Maybe not comfortable, but accepting of loss. So that means when things come your way that you love, you know already they're not going to stay forever. So you don't try to hold on to them because if you try to hold on to something you love, you create suffering for yourself and you don't it doesn't work anyway. So instead agreeing that you're going to lose this in from the beginning, you can truly enjoy it for where it is. Like yes, one day this won't be here, but right now it's here and I'm going to really love it and enjoy it. So you get to really be nurtured by your joy because because you're non-resistant to the loss of it, right?

But also you are non-resistant to things that you do not like. Like things come into the mind, things are bad or disasters it doesn't like. It wants to fight and resist. But again, that's just another way of creating um struggle and suffering because um because just fighting something doesn't make it go away. That it doesn't work, right? Like holding on to something doesn't make it stay. Fighting something doesn't make it go away, right? So the mind learns how to relax into whatever comes. Recognizing that there's no point in fighting for one thing, but also inside of every struggle is a blessing. There's an opportunity for blessing. So the more the mind learns how you more we help the mind learn how to relax, the more it recognizes there is negotiation and navigation possible inside of challenges and even some pretty amazing blessings are found inside of those challenges. If you cannot fight them, if you can learn not to waste your energy fighting, but in still instead stay present and open to the guidance of your soul. Your soul is able to find the gold in any draws and your mind begins to learn this by not fighting what's out there but turning its attention inward.

So I feel like this card connects a lot to the other two cards we've had this week so far, which were both reversals. There was the eight of cups reversed and the king of pentacles reversed, which are about like really like mastery and power and and manifestation but being reversed. And so it's not time like even though we want to step into mastery, I mean obviously we want to make things happen because our minds like to make things happen quickly um, that's not always what's available. So, when you're reversed, when you don't have access to your mastery, when you're feeling struggling or or unconstant or, you know, your mind's feeling confused or fearful, instead of being mad at the reversals, which you talked about for two days, um, which is being resistant and fighting it, you go, "Yes, right now I don't have it. I I'm not available. It's not my my my energy is not available. My optimism is not available. My my inspiration is not available." You agree to the fact that you you feel kind of empty or broken or lost and you and you allow what is behind that struggle to come in.

And really when you allow when you allow things when you don't fight with things, you're actually accessing your intuition, which is your feminine the feminine receptive part of ourselves, which is what connects to the universe, which what's connects to the divine. So, as you agree that you're kind of emptying, maybe you're not sure, you're not all, and the mind kind of quiets down, it allows for this other process. And that's where the blessings come from. The surprising blessings that you wouldn't have anticipated um and would not have been available if you kept fighting.

So, that's something that we're planting in the wheel of fortune, the second half of the major arcana. We're planting this new way of seeing things. We're asking the mind to stop fighting so hard, to stop arguing so much, to stop judging itself or judging others or judging situations, and instead learning how to relax into what is, to agree to what is, and give the intuition a chance to respond and to show something or the soul a chance to navigate whatever it is. There's a way to pass through it. And there's a way to pass through it like more wealthy than when you started. And the more the mind learns this, the more it's able to really be successful and and consistent in navigating these these struggles that happen in the second half of the of the spiritual journey.

So that's our card for today. See you tomorrow for our last one. Bye.
