In the past 35 years, Al-Khidmat Foundation has made such bright imprints of service to humanity in various parts of Pakistan and the world, which are living examples of dedication and honesty.

Disaster relief, education, health, clean water, sponsorship of orphans, "Bano Qabil" (Become Capable), Islamic microfinance, and environmental protection are all ambitious projects that are a testament to Al-Khidmat Foundation's resolve that no human being should be left alone due to hunger, illness, or helplessness.

Natural calamities have always been a test for humanity.

Whether it be earthquakes or floods, torrential rains or other unforeseen circumstances.

Al-Khidmat Disaster Management's trained relief teams reach affected areas, both within and outside Pakistan, promptly to save human lives.

After the devastating floods of 2022, in 2025, melting glaciers, severe monsoon rains, flash floods, and cloudbursts affected millions of families across the country.

More than 3.5 million people were directly affected, while over 9,000 houses were completely or partially destroyed.

In these circumstances, Al-Khidmat Foundation's relief teams played a vanguard role, participating fully in rescue and relief activities.

Thousands of volunteers transferred flood-stranded families to safe locations and provided immediate relief in the form of cooked meals, clean water, and medical facilities.

Tent villages were established for homeless families.

Ration packs were distributed, and educational activities were resumed by establishing tent schools to ensure the continuity of children's education.

Pakistan faces numerous challenges in the health sector, the most serious of which is the lack of access to quality treatment for ordinary citizens.

In light of this concerning situation, Al-Khidmat Foundation is providing quality, affordable, and timely treatment to millions of people annually through its hospitals, medical centers, mobile clinics, and free health camps.

Blood banks, diagnostic centers, and ambulance services are also an important part of Al-Khidmat's health system.

Special centers have been established across the country for the protection of mother and child health, where pregnant mothers and children are provided with safe, quality, and affordable medical facilities.

Clean water is a basic necessity of life, but the situation in Pakistan is dire.

According to recent reports, 53% of Pakistanis are deprived of clean drinking water.

Al-Khidmat Foundation has made the provision of clean drinking water possible in water-scarce areas through thousands of wells, community hand pumps, gravity flow water schemes, solar pumps, and water filtration plants.

These projects not only provide clean water to millions of people daily but also serve as a means of preventing endemic diseases.

Education is the basic right of every child, but unfortunately, over 25 million children in Pakistan are still out of school.

Al-Khidmat Foundation has established thousands of schools across the country to dispel the darkness of ignorance with the light of knowledge, where thousands of poor children are being educated daily.

Students are provided with free books, uniforms, and educational assistance, while hundreds of bright and deserving male and female students are awarded scholarships on merit every year.

Al-Khidmat Child Protection Centers are guiding street children, who pick through garbage, towards a safe and dignified life by educating them.

Pakistan is a country of youth, but unfortunately, 34% of the youth are unemployed and lack modern digital skills.

Recognizing this need, Al-Khidmat Foundation launched the "Bano Qabil" program in 2023, under which modern IT courses such as digital marketing, graphic designing, web development, app development, freelancing, and e-commerce are being provided absolutely free.

This program, which started in Karachi, has now spread across Pakistan.

Under "Bano Qabil," 2 million youth will be made capable of dignified digital employment by providing free IT education over the next 2 years.

The education, upbringing, and sponsorship of orphan children are a fundamental part of Al-Khidmat's mission.

Along with sponsoring thousands of children at home, orphan children are also being provided with exemplary facilities for education, residence, food, and moral training in "Aagosh Homes" established in various cities of the country.

"Aagosh Homes" equipped with modern facilities are also operational in Lahore, Islamabad, and Karachi for orphan girls, while the foundation stone of "Aagosh Education Complex" for female students has also been laid in Islamabad.

Empowering impoverished families to stand on their own feet is the primary objective of Al-Khidmat's Islamic Microfinance Program.

Under this program, interest-free loans are provided so that deserving individuals can start small businesses and earn a dignified livelihood.

These interest-free loans not only break the chains of poverty but also promote economic stability and self-reliance.

Al-Khidmat Foundation distributes rations, gifts, and relief supplies to millions of deserving families during Ramadan, Eid al-Fitr, Eid al-Adha, winter, and other occasions.

Special relief activities are also organized for minority communities during the festivals of Christian and Hindu communities.

To cope with the threats of climate change, Al-Khidmat Foundation has launched the "Green Pakistan" campaign.

Thousands of saplings are planted every year across the country through plantation drives, in which students, teachers, and volunteers participate with great enthusiasm and passion.

Al-Khidmat Khawateen (Women) is sharing in the sorrows and pains of women through various welfare projects across the country, so that their deprivations can be addressed with honor and dignity.

The human tragedy of Gaza has entered its third year.

Since October 2023, Al-Khidmat Foundation has been continuously carrying out relief activities for the oppressed people of Palestine.

Then we would estimate how many people are in this building by asking them, and then we would see that if it was 1 PM, when the earthquake happened again, they were in their living room, and from there, they would have reached at most the drawing-room, or near the gate, and got trapped there. When fire breaks out on walls, obviously paints are also present on them. So you can see powder on the foam cylinder and CO2 on one cylinder. I will tell you its function. If it says AFFF, then foam will come out of it. Okay? Similarly, if there are flammable gases, then use a DCP cylinder. What do we call the powder? DCP. Powder comes out of it. Class fire D. For that too, we will use dry powder. Class E, like if a socket catches fire, a UPS catches fire, something like that catches fire, then what will you use? CO2. You will use CO2. For that, you should not throw water on it, or anything else. Okay? Similarly, kitchen fire. What did it catch fire in? UPS. You can use soil there. Then do not use water. You will use soil there too. You will not use any other sand either. You will use soil. Kitchen fire. Wet chemical. Remember to keep a wet chemical cylinder in your kitchen. If a fire breaks out, you can extinguish it with this. Okay, how to use a fire extinguisher? First, you have to remove its pin. You will remove these. After removing, you will aim at the fire, where the fire is, and aim at the base, and then compress it. After compressing, what will happen? When you are doing it, and compressing. In the last 20-25 years, the central Punjab area has also been hit in Kasur and here in Chiniot and Jhang. Then there is cloudbursting. This basically happened here the day before yesterday in Neelum Valley in Kashmir. Then in Buner, it caused a lot of damage last year. So you will be given a complete introduction. Where you would take your regular jacket. If someone is going into the water, they should wear a life jacket. Without it, do not go. There are helmets. If you go rafting somewhere, wear a helmet. You will only drop water on the part that is burned. And if blisters form, as I said before, if blisters form, then it is a good sign. Because it indicates that the skin below is secure. Regarding allergies, for example, there are often people who have allergies, and doctors recommend some medicine for it. Or, for instance, if someone has a heart attack, doctors say that one Disprin should definitely be kept at home. Disprin, when dissolved in water and given immediately, will thin the blood. Okay? And due to the blood thinning, its flow will become properly fine. Okay? The same system applies to allergies: you should immediately take the patient to the hospital. You need to immediately transfer the patient to the hospital.

Okay, we won't know if the person becomes completely unconscious. In that case, you must immediately perform CPR. Immediately perform CPR. First of all, I apologize for being a little late because we had a convocation at the University of Health Sciences today, which caused a slight delay. I apologize to you all. Often, people arrive late but do not apologize. So, I hope you will accept my apology. First of all, I commend the organizers of Al-Khidmat for organizing this excellent training. The training you are having today or had yesterday is something that we common people, governments, and institutions often forget. But the most important thing is saving lives. CPR, CPR. Then disaster management, environmental control. There are many such things that are needed at home. But unfortunately, we lack knowledge of these things. Not only at home, but even in our big institutions, like what we call Parliament, it has happened many times that someone collapsed, had a heart attack, did not receive any first aid, and passed away. So, there are two slogans in the world right now. One is: "Be a First Aider in Every House of the World." This is a new slogan that is being implemented. Preparation, preparedness. This is the most important thing because in a disaster or emergency, if you invest in prevention, then after a disaster, whether man-made or natural, you will see that the importance of precautionary trainings is very high, and the expenditure on it is also very low. And as you might have been told, the first 10 minutes are the life-saving golden minutes, because if the blood supply to the brain stops for 10 minutes, the brain becomes dead. So, today you must have been told how to help such a patient or affected person if such a situation arises. So, I believe that I have a very old connection with Al-Khidmat. In fact, I was involved in the disaster management cell that was formed in Rawalpindi, and as the Chairman of Pakistan Red Crescent, we had joint operations in GB, Kashmir, and even in Awaran, that part of Balochistan where there was unrest, where even different organizations hesitated to go, people from Red Crescent and Al-Khidmat worked there despite difficulties. So, I believe that Al-Khidmat is not only active throughout Pakistan but also in all those countries of the world where there is a disaster. We clap for them and commend them. Because this is a technical issue. But I would also like to add a couple of things. Our youth today, as you know, is a treasure; 64% are youth, and this is a treasure that will be with us for about 50 to 70 years. But we have not made any method, any measure, any plan to utilize this treasure. And among them, the first two things are essential. One is that our teachers, our leaders, should tell children what Pakistan is, how it was formed, as a result of what sacrifices it came into existence, and what needs to be done to save it now. Now, when we turn on the TV or social media, we see people there. They are strange people, and they are either talking against Pakistan, talking about Pakistan breaking apart. They bring forward all the negative aspects. But you are educated children, and you understand that Pakistan has many things that are much better than many countries in the world. We have mountains, seas, deserts. Our wheat is the best in the world, which we can export half of. We have the best rice, mangoes, dates in the world. In milk, we are number four. In cattle, we are number four. There are about 10 records in the world in which we are among the top 10 countries. Although we are also among the top 10 in disaster-prone countries. And by the grace of Allah, the country formed in the name of the Kalma is on the entire fault line. And it is by the grace of Allah that despite being on the fault line, it remains established and enduring. And its honor and respect increase every day. So, I request you to please think positively, speak positively, and propagate it, and reject negative thoughts, negative ideas, and negative propaganda. And that rejection can happen if we discuss everything through conversation, debate, discussion, and engagement. Do not abuse. Because now, if you upload something, the comments below are full of abuses and few suggestions. Coming here, I was seeing that someone had written something about Kashmir, and he himself was Kashmiri. And below it, there were only four suggestions and about 150 abuses. From this, you can gauge our mental state across Pakistan. Because no one is guiding us, telling us. If you speak negatively, you will get billions of likes, millions of likes. Yesterday, I was seeing that so-and-so Bhatt sahib is earning so many crores, so-and-so sahib is earning so much. And if someone comes to talk sense, your following, I think, does not go beyond a few years. So, my opinion is that all these children have a power in their hands, and that is this. You have to use this power to guide people, for love of the country, for loyalty to the country. There are also complaints about the country, problems with the state. But this is our life and death; this land is ours. We have to live here. Our children have to live here. We were born here; we will be buried here. Pakistan's population is 250 million. Pakistanis abroad are not more than one crore. So, 24 crore live here and will continue to live here. So, we have to make this a blooming garden, a beautiful country. For that, I do not want to give a long speech. It is just that every young person should play their role, a positive role for the country, its people, and the youth. And it is also true that governments do not engage youth in policy-making, and youth remain behind in many matters. But I believe that the time is not far when the voice of youth will be heard. In various policies, whether short-term, mid-term, or long-term policies, youth will play a very important role. So, the purpose of my coming today was to meet you, which is a great honor for me, to meet the youth, to see them, and then the training that is happening, I commend Al-Khidmat for it. Mr. Sanan told me that they have trained 30,000 people. So, I am going to tell you a small anecdote, just so you can understand how our government officials think, what is the thinking of parliamentarians. In Red Crescent, we created a program, just like what you are doing, volunteerism. So, we gave a briefing to the cabinet and the Prime Minister. And when we said that we have 1.7 million volunteers, the Principal Secretary, Secretary Establishment, who were present there, said that this is incorrect, your claims are wrong, you are saying this incorrectly. They interrupted us during the briefing. We said, "Let us finish the briefing, then we will tell you how we created 1.7 million volunteers." When it was completed, we told them that next to our office in Islamabad was Allama Iqbal Open University, where 1.3 million people enroll every year, and it has 89 campuses. So, we made an agreement with the Vice-Chancellor that we would provide online first aid training to every boy and girl who enrolls online from all over Pakistan. Life-saving techniques, which you are seeing, or perhaps you have also done hands-on training today. Some children must have done hands-on training as well. So, we provided online training courses to those people, and after conducting them, after online evaluation and assessment, we provided online certification. So, it was a process of about 2.5 years in which 1.7 million people were trained. When this was told, they asked again, "What is the proof of this?" So, we gave a list from Sindh, KP, Waziristan, Sindh, these are a few numbers. Contact them, ask them who were trained. So, the Prime Minister's Secretary practically dialed those numbers and asked them. There was a girl from Sindh who was speaking, and she said, "Yes, I received the training, this is my certificate." So, the point is that if there is intention, all these things can be done, and believe me, Pakistan is the best country in the world, and we are honored to be its citizens. And God willing, in the next year and a half, the way Pakistan's honor has increased, the honor of the Pakistani passport has increased, Pakistan's respect has grown, it is because the leadership has improved. The wishes, prayers, and all these things of the public. I said earlier that Pakistan was made with sacrifices. My own father's relatives, 250 were martyred while Pakistan was being formed. So, countless people made sacrifices like this. So, a country that is made with sacrifices remains established with sacrifices and will remain established with sacrifices. So, I once again implore you, for God's sake, love your country. Do whatever you can for it. Do any good deed, any kindness, any guidance that you wish. There is no report submission for your entire internship tenure. You have to submit your report on a weekly basis. Now, you attend the trainings held daily, and obviously, you also get assignments. So, I will tell you the format. We will try to share a format as well. If you watched a recorded session, you will also take a screenshot and attach it. And you have to mention two things in it. For example, Page 1 and Day 1 proof of participation. Below that, its learnings and outcomes. After that, Assignment 1 for Day 1. This is the format I am telling you. You will repeat this in the same way for Day 2 proof of participation, learning outcomes, its assignment, and then Day 3. Similarly, in Week 1, there was also something. Now, many people are confused. Attaching proof of participation is mandatory. Because your attendance is not marked on a routine basis here. Your proof of participation is your attendance. Basically, your own picture, a picture of the session, and we know that obviously, there are many friends, so they also take pictures. One person takes leave, and they also decide. Today you go, tomorrow I will go. Bring the picture, share it, and we will attach it. Sir, I wanted to talk about the fact that you mentioned in the assignment that it should be 700 to 1000 words. So, when I started submitting it, it was going beyond 1000 words. So, I merged the learnings and outcomes of all three sessions into one page. So, if you are not writing separate learnings and outcomes and are writing them together for all three sessions, then there will be no problem with that, right? No, no, no issue. You did very well by compiling and writing it. We have such skilled people who remove it and write "Note" below. Sir, there was less space, so we removed it. We have seen such assignments. And, you know, who are the CS students here? Is there anyone from CS? And you all will know. I have also learned a little bit of development. So, they say, write code that you will understand when you read it later. Otherwise, you will forget what you wrote and will not understand what functionality it has. So, that's the thing: make a report that you yourself understand and that the reader also understands, so that your grading is accordingly. Obviously, if something is missed, many people are there. Obviously, there is a limit to your resources, your national resources, or even we say rescue workers, meaning our Alhamdulillah, it is a pride for all of us that our 1122, Doctor Sahib, our NDMA, Alhamdulillah, is now emerging globally, not just in Pakistan, that they are preparing themselves, equipping themselves. But the question remains before you and me: how many people can work as full-time workers in it? Meaning, a population of 250 million. For that, we need to prepare ourselves. Whether you are associated with a campus, or your association is with your homes, you have graduated. But you have to prepare yourself. A few years ago, I went to Japan. So, obviously, my association is with education, so I visited schools. I went to a nursery school. Nursery means before Class 1. So, I went there, and there were very young children, what you call pre-primary. So, there I saw that on their backs, there was something like a pillow, just like you have for relaxing, to make the seats you are sitting on more comfortable. So, my local hosts asked me, "Sir, do you know what this is?" So, I said, "We also understand, as you say, that it is for making the seat comfortable, so that the children feel relaxed and comfortable." They said, "No, it is because earthquakes are very frequent in Japan. So, as soon as our alarms ring, there are mandatory alarms there. So, first of all, these pre-primary children take this on their heads." That foam sheet, which is normally part of their chair, is on their back. They have been told this first. So, this preparedness has come into them right from pre-primary. At this time, the need for disaster, now you see the monsoon is about to start, and then the same stories will appear that in our waterlogged areas, the water has reached, there is current in the water, to the extent that it happens that normally, you must have heard this story too, that while saving his son, the father also drowned. This is a story from the day before yesterday. Meaning, to save the son, the father also drowned. Because obviously, you know, this family from Lahore that was in Saifullah Lake in Mahand Lake, you must have seen that to save... meaning he risked his life. The tragedy is that we do not have skilled people, or after that, we need to prepare ourselves. And obviously, one disaster is that which we officially declare as a disaster. Meaning, it could be heavy monsoon, it could be a flood, a cloudburst. But this is a daily matter. In homes, as the doctor rightly said, the situation is... meaning, when we were students, civil defense was very active, especially among youth of your level. NCC, National Cadet Corps, whether boys or girls, they used to do it regularly. I remember that I was a Boys Scout in primary. Meaning, before Class 5, I was a Boys Scout, and we attended courses from Lahore to Quetta, for a week, 10 days, in which we were told how to live together, how to survive when the situation is difficult, how to work together, when other things are not available. So, today, there is a great need for this. Al-Khidmat, through this program, under the Volunteer Management Program, is doing exactly this: one, creating awareness. Because prevention is better than cure. How much will you spend on health as a result of diseases? If you can lead a healthy life, then there are some tips and some things available, take care of them. So, I congratulate Al-Khidmat's volunteer team. I congratulate our mentors, our coaches like Dr. Syed Ilahi Sahib, from whom we will benefit, God willing. We have MOUs with PDMA, NDMA, 1122 across Pakistan, that we will also skill the youth, which is your scope. Meaning, if your scope is blood donation, then come, we will take you there, and we are collaborating with them in every college and university. If your scope is life-saving, if you have the courage to volunteer in such situations, in the monsoon, we have prepared our teams in every city. They have already conducted their mock drills. Meaning, the monsoon is just starting, but about a month and a half ago, we alerted all our volunteer teams across Pakistan to prepare themselves. The equipment available, whether it is boats, ropes, or other such things, they should be ready. So, God willing, this is it, and this is related to your quality of life. Meaning, do not think that certainly, when you do something for others, you also benefit from it. We need it in every home. Meaning, sometimes people tell us in schools, they say, "Nowadays, we are providing such education that if, God forbid, a hazard occurs in a classroom, the children do not know how to get out of the room." Meaning, people are colliding with each other. What is this stampede? It means you do not know how to evacuate people in an orderly manner. You are present in this hall. Why is it said that it should have doors on both sides? So that you do not face a problem all at once. And the rest of the situations will be displayed here. Because any situation, God forbid, can happen anywhere. So, this is a life lesson that we need to understand, learn, and apply to ourselves. I congratulate Al-Khidmat's VM team.
