Two Canadian children, young boys, tortured, forced to sleep in their own vomit. This is a horrifying true crime story that is currently ongoing in Canada. Now, while this is ongoing, these are allegations made by prosecution. I do believe based on the story, the defense is really grasping at straws. But this is what nightmares are made of. Two lesbian women adopting these young boys and torturing them because they hated the boys. At least that's the allegation made against them. And for many of you, you know, this isn't the first time we've gotten comparable stories like this. Though admittedly, I think the stories we've seen out of England, United States, that where where there are gay fathers who adopted either a young child or a baby are well, let's just call them very, very horrifying.
These stories have popped up and gone viral for a variety of reasons. Many people of course lamenting the loss of the the traditional family and a good mom and dad. I would I would say this, these are anecdotes, not hard data. So take that for what it is, but this story is rather shocking and the details will make your blood boil. Let me read the story from the Daily Mail.
"Sadistic lesbian foster moms made boy 12 wear soaking wet suit and joked 'shiver shiver dumb f' before his horrific death," murder trial here. The argument they made was that the soaking wet wetsuit, it's for his own safety and protection indoors. Indeed, two lesbian foster moms tortured a 12-year-old boy by forcing him to wear a soaking wet suit as they mocked him in gut-wrenching messages before he was tragically found dead. Prosecutors claim the disturbing claims of the death of the Canadian child, identified only as LL, have come to light during the murder trial of Becky Hammer, 44, and 46-year-old Brandy Cooney.
LL, who died on December 21st, 2022, was found soaking wet, unresponsive, and emaciated in the basement of the couple's Toronto area home before being pronounced dead at the hospital. Attorneys finished their closing arguments on Friday as both women have denied charges of first-degree murder, unlawful confinement, and assault with a weapon, according to Law and Crime. Prosecutors used their final remarks to detail how the women allegedly starved LL and his younger brother, who has been identified as JL, and forced them to wear wetsuits and helmets. The foster mothers, who are in the process of adopting the boys, did it because they "Hated the boys," attorneys told the court. Messages between the women presented by the prosecutors showed the sick duo allegedly say, "Shiver, shiver, dumbf." Additionally, prosecutors claimed the women subject suggested that if the young boy wanted to stay warm, he would need to exercise.
It gets worse. Prosecutor Monica McKenzie said that the women knew the consequences of their abuse after Cooney sent Hammer a worried text that the boy was going to die. "Unfortunately, my thoughts, he is suddenly going to die and I'm going to jail," Cooney allegedly wrote. Defense lawyers argued that the wetsuits and helmets were in the boy's best interest to prevent them from hurting themselves and having accidents around the house. Attorneys for the couple also mentioned that social workers never questioned the mother's methods and did not raise concerns because that sounds like Canada, doesn't it?
However, earlier in the trial, social worker Fisel Modi claimed that LL slept on a tiny cot that was frequently covered by vomit. Modi said Cooney's father, who lived with the couple, informed him that the boy's bed space was not washed other than being cleaned up with a wipe. Cooney and Hammer told Modi that on the day of his death, the child had largely been himself other than at a point when he threw up his breakfast and lunch. According to Modi's testimony, the pair told Modi that their prospective son had an eating disorder and regurgitated his food. They admitted he was 48 pounds, Modi said to the court, but stated it was because he would throw up food, chew it again, and lick it off the floor. Jeez. Modi added the couple would direct LL to do yoga poses or walk around his basement room as he agonized. Footage of the boy's room was shown in court with a voice said to belong to Hammer heard telling him, "Lay down because you were being disrespectful." Glee told Modi she took LL's blanket away from him later that day and instructed the child to calm down. The social worker said the next time she checked, LL was unresponsive with vomit everywhere. The lesbian couple then called 911. Modi testified, but it was too late.
Previously in the trial, the prosecution also showed a video of JL's interview with police in September of 2023 when he told them that Children's Aid Society workers who visited the home never saw what went on. He said Hammer and Cooney dressed him in normal clothing during visits. Wow. JL also echoed claims that he and his brother were forced to wear hockey helmets and wetsuits for hours on end. He alleged the foster moms would lock him and his brother in their rooms at night while constantly monitoring their behavior with cameras. Jail claimed that claimed in court that his potential adoptive parents would often ban him from speaking for days at a time.
The boys first moved into the couple's home in 2017, but Jail testified in November that the couple quickly separated them from playing together because "sometimes we'd argue." Once the couple began homeschooling them in 2020 after COVID hit, JL said he began seeing his brother less often despite living in the same house. Cooney and Hammer's fate will be decided by Justice Clayton Conlin. A short update in the case is expected on July, I'm sorry, on April 24th. And Justice Conlin may inform the court when he expects to have a decision.
I'm going to go ahead and just say, comment below. How many of you think that the judge is going to say the parents did nothing wrong? I'm going to go ahead and argue that's what they're going to determine, that these parents may just be found not guilty by this judge. There's some interesting data that I want to bring up here, and I know that it's going to result in many an outraged leftist. I asked our friend Grock, please let us just inform the people of something that is true. Do lesbians commit more domestic violence? Yes. According to the most reliable national data from the US CDC and the National Intimate Partner and Sexual Violence Survey, lesbian women report higher lifetime rates of intimate partner violence, including rape, physical violence, and or stalking by an intimate partner, than heterosexual women. 43.8% of lesbian women experienced rape, physical violence, and or stalking by an intimate partner. Heterosexual women reported only 35%. Among bisexual men at 61.1%, the highest overall. For severe physical violence, lesbian women reported 29.4% and heterosexual men 23.6%. Among the lesbian victims in the survey, about two-thirds reported exclusively female perpetrators, meaning much of the violence occurs within lesbian relationships. Physical violence, 36.3% of lesbians, 29.8% of heterosexual women. Now, that is really, really bad for heterosexual women. There are a lot of abusive men out there. All of it is wrong. The point is, for whatever reason, there is a slightly higher rate of violence among lesbian couples as opposed to heterosexual. All of it's bad, but this data is very interesting. Psychological aggression was high for lesbians reported at 63%. These patterns hold in reviews and meta-analyses. IPV and same-sex relationships, especially among women's women, occur at rates that are comparable to or higher than in heterosexual relationships. Victimization rates, they say, do not always equal perpetration rates. Many lesbian women have had male partners in the past. And I know that's the argument they're going to make that when when lesbian women report experienced rape or violence, the argument is they became lesbians because they were abused by a man. However, that's why the other data is so important that shows that a third say it was literally from same-sex relationships, meaning a large portion of the women. That does also mean however some of these women who are lesbian may have not always been and one would argue bisexual women showing the highest indicates that males do offend at a higher rate. But I will stress heterosexual women meaning exclusively females with males only 35% bisexual women being 61.1. That would indicate that women are adding to the abuse because they're experiencing it more than others.
Now, I know that this story, the response many people are saying is, "Why are we allowing same-sex couples to adopt children with stories like this?" Now, I'm not going to get into the full-on statistics of whether or not a same-sex couple is more or less likely, whatever, just to highlight the stories that have resulted in this sentiment with this shocking story that I I don't know that I can even read the full details because it would be too shocking for the average person. "Gay couple who showed off picture-perfect family gets 100 years in prison for horrific rape of adopted sons." You you heard it. This story was massive. And there are many stories like this with people wondering why it is. We do not see comparable stories among same-sex couples. Now, don't get me wrong, they exist. I think you may just be looking at a bias, so keep that in mind. But I will stress this, my friends. There have been stories, there's one famous story where a man dug a secret underground lair, indeed lured his own daughter, his biological daughter, down there to help him and then locked her in, saying she went missing with his wife living in the home. He then raped his daughter and had children with her. These stories exist as well. So, I would just say this, take all of these stories and anecdotes with a grain of salt, but I do believe we should factor in all available data, and this is a part of that when we're determining whether or not gay couples should be allowed to have children, should be allowed to adopt.
What I'm going to say is this. I am I am absolutely opposed to gay couples adopting children for the most part. Not absolutely, but through surrogacy, 100%. I'm going to tell you why. I believe that our generation's disconnect from having children has shattered our brains and it's resulted in strange politics which is like this. What I will say is I don't expect every gay couple to be psychotic rapists or anything like that. Certainly there are circumstances where it is better that a loving gay couple adopt a child who otherwise has no family than to just leave them as destitute vagrants. That doesn't seem seem to make sense. Now surrogacy is very different. What I would say is this. I know I know gay married guys. They are very nice and I think they would be good fathers and they absolutely would not harm their kids nor expose them to anything unpure if they were to adopt. It's not preferable. But there certainly were circumstances. Like the challenge is if there's a kid who's being mercilessly beaten by his heterosexual parents covered in lacerations, would they be better off with a well-to-do, you know, suburban moderate gay couple? People who I'll throw one for the conservatives. They're Trump voters, they are you know, Gays for Trump or whatever, they will not expose them. And I think, you know, you may not like that it's true or that, you know, there's there's you you'd rather they be with a loving heterosexual couple, and I can understand that. I think it's fair to point out that exists. That being said, surrogacy is something entirely different. Uh, I had a kid. She's uh, one now and uh, she's doing what babies do, and it's fun. And I learned a lot. You know, I just turned 40, so I'm 39, having a kid. I'm way late. I mean, I should be a grandfather by by most historical standards in the next few years, but it's not going to happen, right? I just had a kid. And you learn about the importance of breastfeeding and how breast milk changes based on the saliva of the baby. Isn't that crazy? The baby's saliva has information that the mother's breast will change the composition of the milk. It's crazy. When a child is a newborn from a woman and is taken away from that woman and given to a gay couple, that is a crime against that child in my opinion. I I I wholly believe that. I'm going to break it down in the most rudimentary of ways. A man, two gay men go to a woman and say, "We want you to become pregnant, have a baby through your own body and blood, an egg. I will then give you $30,000 and you will give me the baby." That's trafficking. And there's a lot of people that are like, "No, it's no, it's it's absolutely not acceptable. Absolutely not acceptable. The baby needs the mom." Babies are born early than most earlier than most human babies are born earlier than they should be compared to most mammals because of the large heads. And so they are effectively one with the mother and breastfeeding for some time, maybe even up to a year, maybe two years for some babies. They need that nourishment to supply. This is what mammals do. Mammals produce milk. It's why they're mammals. To separate that, I believe would be destructive to human beings. And that's the the big challenge I have with a lot of the surrogacy.
Now you have stories like this where these two men adopted little boys to torture and rape them. These people a 100 years. Wow. Now, how do we weed out stories like this? How do we screen for things like this? Take a look at this from nine months ago in the UK. Blackpool teacher charged with sexual assault and murder of baby Jamie Varny and co-accused John McOwen were in the process of adopting 13-month-old Preston Davy. What is My God. My god.
Here's what I think. I think the reason we have these stories, I think something is happening to our generation because they are separated from family. And I've been I've been I've been talking to some friends about this. I think millennials are going through midlife crisis, but they don't have families. It's creating this weird political space. It used to be that our politics were largely built upon what our kids needed. And you were 28 with small children. At 28 years old, you had a couple kids, sometimes three. By 30, you had teenage kids. By 40, your kids were getting ready to move out. Historically, people had children around 22 years old. 22. It's amazing. It's like that the movie from Interview with the Vampire. Interview with the Vampire where he says, "I was 24, but I was a man at that age. Times were different." It's crazy. In the 90s, they still didn't feel that way despite people still largely having kids at a young age, Gen Xers. And now millennials didn't have any kids. So, they're in their 30s. They don't have kids. They don't understand what kids need. And they start to favor a bunch of policies that are bad for kids because they've never experienced this. Now, millennials are middle-aged. I'm 40. And without having kids, they don't experience purpose. They get bored. Here's what I genuinely believe. I think that, you know, I I've been I'll put it this way. I've been skateboarding my whole life, right? And tell me if you guys agree or disagree. I do not get the same feeling skateboarding that I did when I was 19. When I was 19, there was a world to conquer. There were tricks to be done. I'd go to the park and I'd look around and think, what can I do better today? Now I'm 40 and I look at the skatepark and I'm like, it's fun to skate. Great exercise, but I have conquered all that I really have ever sought out to conquer in skateboarding. I don't look at the stair set and think I'm going to do a switch 360 flip down that. I don't need to. There's no more drive to conquer skateboarding. Now, I don't necessarily feel the same way about other things that I do, but certainly with skateboarding, I'm much more interested in showing new things to my daughter. And what I think is, and most of you who have had kids understand this, you start to derive joy not from the conquering, but from the teaching. That is, I'm much more interested in the simple things my daughter may be learning. And I know a lot of you are your parents, and you were parents much earlier than I was. And you're smiling and saying, "Oh, Tim's finally experiencing it." Indeed, this is true. But what happens if you're 40 and you have no kids? You go to the bar every week. You see the same people. You go to work. You wonder where the light is at the end of that tunnel. For people who have kids, you had focus. You had purpose. You had the joy and laughter of your children and making sure you're doing right by them. So there always was a mission. You needed to make sure that you cast off their their ship fully equipped. But what happens when you're 40? Been there, done that. I've been to so many bars. I've been to so many clubs. I've heard so many bands. At a certain point, it's just routine. You're not experiencing the new, the dopamine hits don't come the same way. Millennials didn't have kids, so they don't understand the importance of laws to protect children. They think abortion is fine. Who cares about surrogacy? They don't even know babies need moms. They need moms and dads for different reasons, you know. So, I'll say this. There's been a great deal of conversation about how kids who don't have dads grow up to be drug abusers or criminals. And I've made the argument the same is true for moms. Kids who grew up without moms are also in bad shape. But we don't really focus on that data. But I would just say this. I think it's patently clear. Children who are breastfed tend to do better than children who are not. Kids need that loving mother, that that maternal bond with their mom the same as they need the discipline and leadership from a dad. And that's why I oppose same-sex surrogacy adoption. Meaning two gay couples or like a gay couple, not two gay people have a couple and they have a surrogacy baby. I believe that it would be bad for two females to ask a man to inseminate one to have a kid and then raise it with two moms. I think that's bad. I am not saying it should uh uh uh see the difference there is it's not giving the kid away, but the kid is now without their dad, which is bad. Data shows this. I think it's even worse when it's the woman who gives birth and then gives the baby to the man for money. It's actually fascinating if you think about it. Asking a man to provide biological matter to impregnate a woman, guys will do it for free. There are Facebook groups where lesbian women and career women do this and the guys are like, "I'll come by and hook you up." The woman then, you know, grows the child within her womb and gives birth and that's that. For men, they can't do this. So, it's 30 grand. Isn't that crazy? If a man wants to have someone else provide the genetic basis for the baby, it's very extensive. And so, naturally, you've got the difference between the sexes.
In the end, I want to say this. I know a lot of people are going to see these stories and immediately say this proves we should never allow this. I'm going to make the argument I would largely agree for a lot of reasons. But I do think it's fair to say we know many individuals who are gay married and good people and would not abuse their kids and the kids would have better lives. You I I don't think that's uh I think it's a fact statement. There are children born of heterosexual drug-addicted parents who beat them every day. And these kids run away and they have bad lives. And I guarantee you those kids would live better with upper middle class gay married lesbian or men couples. Uh, and I'll say it again cuz I know you know this. There are gay men that are gay married that you know and you've followed on social media and you may not agree with what they do, but you do know that they are not evil, sadistic people who would harm their children in this way. Now, you may argue that there's a higher propensity for this among gay married couples. I'm not going to argue that. I don't have the data to to bear that out. My point is I'm not for uh absolute banning, but I am opposed to surrogacy. The story is shocking, my friends. It is shocking, terrifying, and should never have happened. That's Canada for you. I'm going to wrap it up there. I just hope that uh we move in a better direction for our uh our kids and I I I hope more people have kids now. I know a lot of people are having kids now, which is it's great. We need that population boost. Thanks for bringing everybody. Smash the like button. Share the show with everyone you know. Stay tuned. We got more coming up for you throughout the day and we'll see you all in the next segment.
