Destinies can be altered. They can be hindered. They can be frustrated. And many times, believers have lost out to desperate people, desperate competitors, desperate enemies who are ready to do anything, anything to make sure they achieve their desired goal.
So, Numbers chapter 22, verse one to six, you see an example there. Like I explained earlier, Balaam was not a nearby, in nearby Amer. You see, there's a point where you go in your spiritual relationship with God, that where your church goes, you go. This is there's a level of relationship. You recognize, you can sense things in the spirit. You can sense things in the spirit. Spiritual life, your spiritings of the spiritual are not, not, are not achieved just conveniently. And in fact, sometimes God will deliberately create a situation where he will want to test how committed you are, how determined you are to have access to that sure point of grace that God has ordained for you.
Always remember, your father's blessing is your father's blessing. Your father's blessing is your father's blessing. Even if your father is engaged in the most modest kind of work, he is at the lowest level in an organization, he's still your father. His blessing is what? When God, when it comes to parental blessing, his father is his blessing that comes out from his mouth, that heaven will endorse. It is not about how prosperous your father is. The reality is for you, that is your father.
So, we need to be very sensitive in the things of the spirit. For Balak, he knew that for him to be able to overcome Israel, he needed to have to assess a higher power. Can somebody say higher power? One more time. This is what is going on on a daily basis. People are constantly looking for a higher power, a higher power. This is what is happening on the other side. They are constantly looking for a higher power. And anytime, even when they are not looking out for it, they hear about the existence of a higher power somewhere. They go there. People join societies, secret societies, because they have heard about some higher power that is available through that society. Balak could reach out to just anyone that called himself a spiritualist. No, he knew what was at stake, and he wasn't going to deceive himself. And by his estimation, he knew that, you know, is a kind of tested and proven spiritual power that was manifesting through Balaam that would be required to change the order of things.
It's not easy reversing destiny. It's not easy. It's not easy reversing destiny. It's not easy displacing someone that God had destined to get a particular thing. And that is why you discover that when something has already been destined for you, and then you back it up with necessary spiritual keys like prayer, like fasting, where it is required, a seed sowing, or whatever step of it, it, it, it just flows. Because the first thing that matters is, is it the will of God? And then secondly, is it God's time? So if that is already in your favor, by the time you now apply spiritual keys along with what is already destined for you, then you are flowing. You know, everything is flowing in your direction, and you have a greater probability of getting that particular thing. And someone here will win a major battle of destiny very soon, to the glory of God, in the name of Jesus.
So, some of the people competing with you are ready to use spiritual attack. They are ready to use spiritual arrows. Someone listening to me, the time was in the past, you were supposed to sleep and not wake up, but you slept. You woke up. And not only did you wake up, when you woke up in the morning, you were laughing. Spiritual manipulations. The people competing with you will engage in spiritual fortification. Spiritual fortification. There's a level you get to, and they no longer pursue in your dream. There's a level you get to spiritually, you know, and even in your sleep, you are now so spiritually fortified and strengthened and on fire that even in your dream, you, you overcome people in the dream.
The people competing with you, they engage activation of curses, curses against you, spells, sorcery. We've done a study. You can pick up our CDs, our message on curses, spells. One of those, um, we, we, we did a very extensive study, and we identified some of the major manifestations of the effect of curses. And one of them is to move you to make a costly mistake at the time it matters most. A costly mistake. The spirit of error. A costly mistake at a time it matters most. Something that in the morning you stepped out, you never planned to do. By the time you are returning home that evening, you are holding your head, wondering what happened. Things have, the tide has suddenly turned against you over something you never planned to do. Sometimes it's due to the influence of curses, spells manifesting this realm of the spirit of error, costly mistakes. May you never be victim of such spiritual manipulation, in the name of Jesus.
And take note, your amen is part of your spiritual engagement. Amen means what? So be it, Lord. When you see people, there are times people not only say amen. There's a point where a word that has gone forth, it resonates so much in your spirit realm, you have such a strong witness that you are even prompted to, to drop a seed in connection with the word that was spoken. These are, these are realities of the dynamics that works, that plays out in the spirit realm. Some of the wicked people, evil people that we need to stop the ungodly activities, have spiritually fortified themselves. They have spiritually fortified themselves. And as such, they will not just be overcome by casual prayers. They will only be overcome by concentrated prayers.
So I stand in God's prophetic grace on behalf of someone here whose life is still being remotely controlled by an evil altar somewhere. I stand in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, and we decree that any evil altar working against your life, working against your destiny, hindering the glory of God in your life, we command that evil altar to be burnt by fire. We command that evil altar to be consumed by fire. Every altar of witchcraft, every altar in the marine world, every altar of occultism, every altar that is located anywhere that is worried against your life, monitoring your life, permanently attacking the purpose of God for your life, we command that altar to burn by fire. All you evil altars, burn by fire. All your spiritual strongholds, bombed by fire. Every enemy of the destiny of God's people, born by fire, in the name of Jesus. Somebody shout fire! One more time, shout fire! A third time, shout fire! Hold on, Jesus, with a clap offering, and have your seat. You will win the battle of your life. You will win the battle for your great destiny, in the name of Jesus.
Brethren, church is a place where you should hear the truth. Some great things that even God has programmed for you in life would not just come on so easily. It will take concentrated spiritual warfare for you to assess it. Because once you get into some of these promises of God, some of these good things that God has ordained, once you enter into it, it is for a lifetime. So the battle is to have access to it. Because once you have it, you are going to have it for life. The moment Joseph had his breakthrough, for the rest of his life, he was flowing in glory and greater glory. Your testimony shall be greater than that of yourself.
Remember, take note of what happened in the context of our Lord Jesus Christ in Matthew chapter 2. The Bible tells us that the moment, in verse two, that Jesus was born, and when he was born, some wise men from the east came to Jerusalem. Why? They saw his star. The star, your star. Every one of you, you have a star. Your star is a spiritual indicator of your original destiny, not the destiny that has been changed. Your original destiny, what God originally wrote down, that is what your star will reveal in the spirit. And what did they see about the star of Jesus? They saw that he was going to be king of the Jews. What followed? They came to worship him. So there are people that will be positively attracted to your destiny, to you in destiny. There are people that will be happy to see you become what God has ordained you to become. There are people that will bring out their money, their treasure, to support and honor you concerning what God has destined for you. While at the same time, there will be people who will go the extra mile to make sure you never become what God has ordained you to become. There are people who will bring out real money to do anything possible to stop you from entering into something great that God has ordained for you in life. For every king, there's a throne. So there are people who will do everything to make sure you don't sit on that throne that God has ordered for you in life. And there are some thrones that are for the eighth year, your time on the earth here, not when, not in the judgment seat of Christ, in the eighth year. If you miss it here, you'll miss that aspect of it, but you won't miss anything, in the name of Jesus.
And so what happened? Look at the conspiracy. Look at the reality of wickedness. In verse 3, Matthew chapter 2, when Herod, King Herod, heard about this, it upset him. Whoever is upset about the good things in your life, may God expose them. May the Lord overcome them. [Applause] In the name of Jesus. Can you imagine? He was upset. Jesus never prayed for this. It is God that just sat on his throne and ordained, planned it out. That's the reality of destiny. Destiny is not about things you prayed for. Destiny is about what God himself wrote down before you were born. Before you were born, you didn't pray for destiny, for the contents of destiny. When Herod had, he upset him. There are people who are threatened. They are threatened. They are people who are irritated.
So in verse 3 of Matthew chapter 2, when King Herod heard about it, he was upset. Then he did what? He called a meeting. Any meeting that will ever be called to stop you from rising to become what God has ordained for you, that meeting will hear. [Applause] He called the meeting. Have this in mind, people will hold meetings not for anything. You are the agenda. Stopping you is the only agenda of such meetings. And can I tell you this? Some of these meetings will be in the witches' coven. Some of these meetings will be among, you know, very high-level marine agents. Some of these meetings will be among occult agents. Herod called a meeting over a baby cry, over a baby, not even an adult. He couldn't even wait for Jesus to emerge. Can, can you see life? There are people that will not even wait for you to become or get to that time so they can stop. They want to stop you now. Anybody that is desperate to stop you now, God will stop them. [Applause] Anyone that is desperate to end your life, God will end your life. Because it is written, he that digs a pit shall fall into it. We have, we have fallen scriptures. We are following scriptures. We are following scriptures. You will fulfill your great destiny. [Applause] I am speaking to men and women that God, in his mercy, has ordained for greatness. You will become great. We will celebrate your greatness. You will be a blessing, a blessing to your family, a blessing to the church, a blessing to your generation, a blessing to Nigeria, a blessing to the whole world. [Applause] We will be proud to tell people that we are close to you. Your name will open doors for your children. [Applause] Your name will open doors for your grandchildren, in the name of Jesus. Somebody stand and say, "I will fulfill every measure of greatness attached to my destiny by the grace of God." And so shall it be, in Jesus' name.
And he said, Herod had a private meeting with the wise men. From the, he learned from them the exact time they saw the star. Then he said, "Go and look carefully for the child." There are people who will pretend. There are people who will join you in order to finish you. Because when they are too far apart, they can't have the information, they can't have the assets to do damage. So for them to be able to stop you and finish you, they have to get close. Any such plan against you or your children, such a plan will fail. [Applause]
Then, can you hear what this wicked man was saying? Very wicked man. In verse 8, then he sent them to Bethlehem. He said, "Go and look carefully for the child." Wicked man. "When you find him, come tell me, then I can go and worship him too." Then I can go and worship him too. Deceit, deception. And the wise men heard the king. They left. They saw the same star they had seen, and they followed it. There are people that will follow you. They will travel with a good heart towards what God has ordained you to be in life. There are people who will be happy to see you become what God has ordained you to be. They will be happy to see you become what God has ordained you to be. The wise, these wise men were happy. Nobody asked them for gifts. Out of their joy, out of their love for the child and his destiny, they willingly offered gifts. They bowed. Verse 11, they bowed and had worshipped him. Worshipped who? Baby Jesus. It is not about age. It is about destiny. Are you following? Life is not about age. Sometimes you can miss it in life. Somebody, somebody is growing up, the glory of God is manifesting, and you are still looking at his age. This one that was born some years ago, this one that I used to take to school. No, it is not about age. It is about destiny.
Then they opened the boxes of gifts they had brought to him. They gave him treasures of gold. Treasures of gold. Is it only gold the only option? No. They could have given silver. They could have given bronze. They could have also given brass. What do you offer God? What do you honor God with? What do you worship God with? Listen, anytime somebody wants to give, and without looking at what is bringing out, just, you know, puts his hand inside his pocket and then brings out something and then takes. No, no, no, no. That is not, that is not a heartfelt gift. Except maybe before you left home, you had already intentionally loaded that very pocket with, with the best that you have. Not when you have variety in that pocket, and then without looking, and you, when you are doing it, most times you are hoping that you are touching and bringing out the lowest of it all. Praise God. So they brought out gold, frankincense, and myrrh. The best. Give God the best. Offer God the best. And if you are going to do it real big, God will see the sign at any level of your life. He that is faithful with little will be faithful with much. At whatever level of income, if you are going to be a cheerful giver, God will see evidence at any level of income. So when God eventually moves you higher, you will just be doing what you have always been doing. But be careful about people who do nothing now, even though they earn something, and they keep on telling you, "When the big thing comes." Most times, they will never do what they are talking about.
So the Lord eventually delivered baby Jesus from the conspiracy and the plan of Herod. So these people, people, this is a reality of life, and the battle of destiny. Now, in closing, three major, the three major dimensions of spiritual power and spiritual warfare: one, spiritual attacks; two, spiritual manipulations; and then three, spiritual fortification. One, spiritual attacks. Two, spiritual manipulations. And then three, spiritual fortification. God fortified Samson, but unfortunately, he sold out his secret to the enemy, and he lost his fortification.
Then there are some common things that these enemies of destiny will engage in when it comes to spiritual attacks and manipulation, or even in the realm of fortifying themselves. One, they would always seek for a higher level of spiritual power. And number two, evil decrees, evil pronouncements, curses are commonly used. Number three, spells, different types of spells. Four, witchcraft. Five, occultism. Six, sorcery. Seven, voodoo. Eight, rituals. Nine, evil sacrifices. Evil sacrifices. Ten, enchantment. Eleven, incantations. And then twelve, hypnotism. 13, evil marks. 14, spiritual poison, evil seeds, and spiritual pollution. 15, charms, and in a local, juju. 16, divination, also called clairvoyance. And 17, demonic monitors, spiritual surveillance. And number 18, magic. I will encourage you to please get the tip of this message so you can play it over again and ensure that every vital information is properly noted. Number 19 is spiritism. And number 20, mystical powers or strange powers.
As a believer, there are some keys you must utilize. One, a close relationship with God. A close relationship, that is what will bring you to a point where you carry the presence of God. A close relationship with God. Number two, prayer and intercession. You must be constantly involved in prayer and intercession. Number three, your words and pronouncements. Your words and pronouncements. Mark 11:23. And then number four, blessings. Blessings. You need them. So deliberately do things that will activate fresh blessings into your life. Pastoral blessing, parental blessing, the blessing of God. Number five, sacrifice. Sacrifice. Sacrifice of praise, sacrifice of worship, sacrifice of service. Sacrifice of service. And then sacrifice in the realm of giving, quality giving. And then number six, your good deeds. Galatians chapter 6, 6-7. Be not deceived, God is not mocked, for whatever a man's sweat, that shall he also reap. The kind of seed, the kind of actions you take, would always produce a reward, positively or negatively. So consistently sow good seeds in your words, in your actions towards people, secretly and publicly.
And then number seven, destiny. Find out your destiny prayerfully. Then realize that there are destiny partners. Find them and hold on to them. Not every relationship is the same. Don't treat people the same. Don't treat people the same. Even God said we should not be weary in doing good, but as we have opportunity, we should do good to all men, especially, even God said he has singled out some people, especially those of the household of faith. Some relationships are more important. Your parents are more important than other many other people. Your family is important. Then there are some friends that are even going to be far better to you in life than your siblings. Hold on to them once you discover them. Your spouse, very vital. So they are divine helpers. Look at Pharaoh and look at Joseph. Two of them became channels of blessing to each other. Pharaoh kept on thanking God for connecting him with Joseph. Joseph kept on thanking God for connecting him with Pharaoh. So there are people that your destinies complement each other. You will be a support to him or her, and she or he will be a support to you. When they rise, it's, it's, it's good news for you. When you rise, they are celebrating. May God help you recognize such people, in the name of Jesus.
And then number eight, irreversible will of God. Irreversible will of God is very rare, but is real. Be discerning. There are certain doors that will never open. If God has irreversibly closed a door, it will never open. Be discerning. And there are certain doors that God has opened, no man can shut. Revelation chapter 3, 7 through 8. He was the key of David. A door he has shut, no man can open. And a door he has opened, no man can shut. So be sensitive to watch out for irreversible will of God playing out. At some time, it's rare, but it's always manifesting. Nevertheless, then number nine, spiritual power is for real. Spiritual power. So develop yourself to have access to greater spiritual power. And one of the most powerful keys to spiritual power is the Holy Bible. The message, the words, the content of this Bible, they are spirit. They are spirit. Every time you study them and meditate on the Bible, there is a transfer of spirit. The Bible is a spiritual book. Every time you study the Bible, there's a transfer of the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of God, into your spirit man. And that is why the devil is doing everything possible to distract modern-day Christians from reading the Bible. So when we talk of spiritual power, don't look outside. You don't, you do not have to start traveling to some place where there's a higher power somewhere. No, your own access to spiritual power is already available to you. Your Bible, your Bible, your Bible. The Word of God, added with prayer, is just a matter of time, and people will acknowledge that you carry the Holy Ghost. Somebody say amen.
And then number 10, which is the last one, the spiritual gifts, the spiritual gifts and grace of God, the spiritual gifts, grace, and anointing of God upon certain people. You must also assess it. That is why you have to be in the church. That's why you have to be in a prayer meeting. You could as well just pray on your own, no, but you have to be in the prayer meeting as well, so you can benefit from the grace flowing from such a prayer meeting. And whoever God has placed to preside, connect with the grace upon your pastor. Connect with the grace upon your commission. These are keys that are time-tested. And as you use them wisely, you will fulfill your great destiny, in the name of Jesus. I hope you have learned something today, in the name of Jesus Christ.
