Hello and welcome back to Love Advice TV. My name is Coach Adrienne, and I am a relationship and breakup expert. This is what we do here at Love Advice TV. I have the unique opportunity to work with an amazing team of experts: Coach Alex, Coach Natalie, Coach Stephen, and Coach Tamara. And what we try to do is basically provide you with amazing content, answers to your questions on a daily basis through these videos. Then we truly, truly, truly love to do.

In today's video, I wanted to talk to you about the signs that your ex is over you. It's a very, it's a question that we are asked very frequently in private coaching sessions: "Is my ex over me, and how can I tell for sure?" Now, we don't sugarcoat things in private coaching sessions. We tell you the truth because you pay a premium to hear the truth, not just what you want to hear. No BS. And that's true of our entire team. We don't think that we should encourage people who are in toxic relationships to pursue their ex. And if we don't think that your ex can make you happy, we will tell you to let go and to move on. And we pride ourselves on that because ultimately, it's about finding happiness and love, not getting back with an ex.

Okay, and so what are the signs that your ex is over you? The truth of the matter is that your ex has probably been over you for a while. Okay? They just didn't tell you about it because they were perhaps afraid to hurt you, perhaps because they were unsure, or quite frankly, because they were just weighing their options. And the breakup usually takes place weeks, if not months, into this grieving period that your ex has already been engaged in. And your grieving period is perhaps just now only beginning. And so for most clients that reach out to us, the ex has been over them for a while. But it does not mean that you can't win them back. Okay? Because in relationships, quite often, you go in and out of being in love. Okay? And there's a myth that you're supposed to be in love forever and ever and ever. But relationships are hard. Human beings are complex. And so quite often, for long-lasting, healthy relationships, you go through these ups and downs. It's just that your ex, your significant other, along the way, lost faith in your ability to make them happy, or perhaps they lost trust in you because you did something crazy that you now regret. But ultimately, it's important for you to understand that your ex has been over you for a while, and that's why you're on our channel, and that's why the breakup, the separation, or divorce has already been engaged. But the cool thing is that it doesn't mean that it's over. Just because they're over you doesn't mean that you can't win them back in a healthy, responsible way, not by using tricks and mind games, but truly make them feel like they can be happy with you again.

And of course, this breakup recovery process is different for every single one of you. You are a unique individual. Your relationship was unique. Your partner has their own personalities, their own upbringing, their own values, their own dreams, their own insecurities. And so you're gonna need to adapt to a breakup recovery to them. And once you understand that, magic can happen. Once you're willing to put in the work and be patient, often times, because it's necessary, you can win them back, even if they are over you, or even if, even if they were over you.

And so what are the signs that we look for to tell people to move on, or when are people really, really in trouble? One of the most difficult types of breakup recoveries or situations that we have to face is when an ex becomes indifferent. When your ex-wife or ex-husband, ex-girlfriend or ex-boyfriend really doesn't care anymore. Those are more tricky, those are more difficult because someone completely disconnects emotionally. When there's no resentment, no anger, no communication, quite frankly, sometimes it can take a while. And those are signs that your ex truly may have emotionally just disconnected, and you're gonna have to give yourself and give them time in order to rebuild a healthy relationship. I would rather work with an ex or with a client that has an ex that is angry and bitter and resentful than one that is conveying apathy and just complete disconnect. Okay? Because they're emotionally checked out. That is a sign that your ex is over you, but that it's also going to probably be complicated to make them change their mind. Doesn't mean that it's impossible. In many cases, we are still able to turn things around, but it's more complicated.

A sign that you should move on because your ex is truly over you is when you have really, truly gone through our process of personal transformation. When you've been able to grieve past this breakup period, when you've been able to let go of the anger, let go of the resentment, truly focus on you, and to develop a new sense of purpose. When you've created new healthy patterns, and we've reconnected with your significant other, and they're still not attracted by the new you. Once the true process of transformation has really occurred, this is when we often advise people, you know what, you need to let it go. And at that point, it's not as bitter and difficult because you aren't happy anyway. And the magic can happen for you. And it doesn't mean that down the line, you can't reconnect with this person that you love in a healthy, meaningful way and give it another go. There are clients that we've helped get back together after years apart, after divorces, after multiple breakups, six, seven breakups, when all hope seemed lost. And as long as you're patient and you're approaching this breakup process the right way, you can overcome any sign that your ex is over you, really.

And that's also part of what makes our job May and interesting because we learn everyday. We discover new techniques, new tools to help people feel empowered and to gain new virtues every day. And that's what we try to convey to you in these videos. So there are many, many signs in reality that an ex is over you. And for every breakup recovery, those signs are unique. And that's why private coaching sessions is the best investment that you can make because we can really take significant amount of time to focus on what happened and leverage our experience and apply it to your specific situation and to pretend to help you find the tools to turn things around and to put a roadmap and a game plan in place that is specific to your situation.
