Ladies and gentlemen, I am proud to say that Senator Mike Lee is going full war mode for the Save of America Act. He's not backing down.
The past several days, there have been concerning reports from inside Congress where we are getting some press leaks that Mike Lee's Senate Republican colleagues are getting upset and frustrated with Mike Lee for continuing to push the Save America Act as hard as he is. This is coming from a lot of these rhinos that we already know about like John Korn and John Thun and some other ones that we were surprised to hear are pressuring Mike Lee to stop talking about the Save America Act and namely that came from John Kennedy. This was leaked that he was privately pressuring Mike Lee along with John Cornin and John Thun and Senator Capido to stop talking about this because they are saying that Mike Lee is trying to give President Trump false hope that this could actually get passed.
But Mike Lee is not backing down. Mike Lee is a fighter and he has a clear-cut way to get the Save America Act passed with simply the Republicans. No matter what Thun says, no matter what Cornin says, no matter what Tom Cotton says, these people, they will stand in front of a camera and say they support the Save America Act because obviously it would be a political suicide not to support the Save America Act. But in private, they are absolutely seething at this guy for trying to fortify our elections.
And ladies and gentlemen, I want you to listen to Mike Lee just went on Fox News and he just laid it out very plainly for the American people his strategy to get the Save America Act passed with only Republicans. And guys, uh, I I I got to say, I don't know how this is not computing for John Thun, John Kennedy, and, uh, John Corn and all the the John's in the Senate. I I, you know, John Thun says the math just ain't math with the votes. Well, I don't think the math is mathing with John Thun when he hears what Mike Lee's strategy is to get the Save America Act passed. Take a listen.
"She's right that the expanded version of it has never gotten to 50 votes. But it's important, Shannon, to remember that the original Save America Act, uh the the one that was passed by the House of Representatives does have simple majority support in the Senate. Now, while it's true we're 10 votes shy of closure, of forcing debate to a close, that doesn't mean that we couldn't pass it. There are a couple ways to get there. One would be nuking the filibuster, as you pointed out, that appears not likely to happen. But the other way is to exhaust the other side to continue to debate the bill until it passes. This was a a common procedure in the Senate for most of its existence. It needs to be used from time to time in situations like this one. Look, the American people overwhelmingly support this. Republicans, Democrats alike, we're talking about three out of four Americans, regardless of political party, want to make it easy to vote, hard to cheat. That's what the House Pass Save America Act does. and the Senate needs to be willing to do the hard work to make sure that that happens. If we put it on the floor tomorrow and we announced that we're going to debate it until it passes, I'm confident that we can get there."
So, three out of four Americans support this and that's why Mike Lee is pushing so hard. And you got to ask yourself, why are these other Republican senators pressuring him in private to stop talking about this? And I I think we know why. I think we know that uh something like the Save America Act would be a massive detriment to some of these rhinos who enjoy, you know, a Senate seat for decades upon decades with no real challenger because it seems like some of these votes, you know, you look at what was going on in California, it seems like some of these votes are just manifesting out of thin air.
But we also have Scott Pressler who has been backing up Mike Lee this whole time. Absolutely holding these rhinos to account, the ones who are trying to uh get Mike Lee to stop talking about the Save America Act and who is showing the American people that there is actually a path to get the Save America Act passed with Republicans because one of the things that Thun and Cornin and Kennedy, these rhinos, one of the things that they are so upset about is that we have Republicans attacking Republicans. And Mike Lee is the one that is showing the American people that it is not the Democrat's fault. It is in fact the Republicans's fault. And you know, I I guess I can't say entirely it's not the Democrats fault because obviously if we got a few Democrats to come and vote on our side, we could get this passed. But I think everyone knows the Democrats are a lost cause at this point. But our own side, our own Republicans, there should not be one single Republican against getting this passed and against doing everything they can do to get this passed.
And when you have Mike Lee showing that there is such a clear path to get the Save America Act passed and they're not doing it, that causes Republicans within our own party to start questioning, well, why aren't you doing this? Why aren't you voting this way? Why aren't you supporting this? Are you a fake Republican? Are you a Rhino? That's why I call out Rhino so much because it looks like we can do this, but they simply aren't. And John Thun, John Kennedy, and John Cornin and some of these other ones, >> they don't like this. They don't like this because they are used to enjoying this u this ability to sherk responsibility because they can always blame the other side and usually it works on the American people. But this time it's not because Mike Lee keeps showing plainly that we can get this done with Republicans.
And we have Scott Pressler going on the news saying it's time for Republicans to step up. It's time for Republicans to do some work to bust this filibuster and get this passed with a simple majority in the Senate. Take a listen.
"Opportunity to bring the Save America Act to the Senate floor for debate and allow any senators that are opposed to said legislation to tell the American people why they're against what 83% of Americans support. And that is quote unquote the talking filibuster. And so right now, we don't even have to nuke it. We have 50 senators that have announced support for the Save America Act. Bring it to the Senate floor for debate and discussion."
So, let's tease this out. The standing filibuster, it's a clever idea because what it would force Democrats to do, it would force Chuck Schumer. It would force Cy Booker to stand on the Senate floor for hours and explain why they disagree with 84% of the American public. I believe we have that poll. We'll pull it up while you answer.
"Amen. You're going to have Spartacus Cy Booker have to tell 76% of black Americans that he is against photo ID, which they support. He's going to have to tell 82% of Latino Americans why he is against photo voter ID. Like you just mentioned, this is an 8020 issue. Uh when have Americans ever agreed 83% on something? This would be a slam dunk for the American people. And actually, I argue that more people would vote in our elections, Kaye, because they would finally have confidence that their votes are going to count this November."
He's absolutely right. I think more people would be comfortable with the idea of voting because obviously, you know, when you go to vote, you want to know that your vote is going to count, that your vote is not being canceled out by some illegal alien that came here from Zimbabwe last week. And you know, I think it's very funny. We have a lot of opposition to this. Obviously, on the Democrat side, we had Chuck Schumer just the other day complain that if the Save America Act passed that 25 million people would be purged from the voter roles. And it's almost kind of like an admission. It's just like, well, um, Chuck Schumer, why would 25 million people be purged from the voter roles? Because if you look at the parameters of the Save America Act, it just ensures that there are actual Americans voting. you know, that is really the only thing that it is enforcing. So, if you have 25 million people taken off the voter roles, well, you know, maybe those people should be gone because they're obviously uh not the type that should be voting in our elections if they're not Americans or if there's something wrong where they shouldn't be voting in the first place.
But as this thing heats up and we're getting so many people that are continuing to push for the Safe America Act and you know the push for this isn't dying out, we have some more senators who are starting to slowly begrudgingly start to support what Mike Lee is doing in a way. We have Rick Scott who really I mean he's been supportive of the Save America Act. He hasn't pushed it as hard as Mike Lee has, but uh for the first time he has come out and he is starting to make some moves himself. And I I absolutely love this. So, Senator Rick Scott has invited President Trump to a Senate GOP lunch to game plan the Save America Act.
"I I invite him to come. I I'm responsible for the Wednesday lunch. Um so, invite him to come to lunch on Wednesday and let's see let's talk about how we get it done. What can he do? What can we do? But we've got to get the Save America Act passed. Is it hard? Yeah. Do we have the votes today? No. But that doesn't mean we don't have the votes tomorrow. I mean, we do. It's this. This is how the process works. You fight every day to get something done. And you and you listen to people. You say, "Okay, so what's your issue?" All right. How can I solve your issue? I'm a I'm a business guy. How do I get my deals done? I built the largest hospital company. I talk to people and solve their problems. That's what we have to do. People want secure elections. We need to pass this."
Yeah. And I keep hearing like my whole life, the Senate's a deliberative body. So now it's time to deliberate and change minds and that's what you do.
But as Senate Majority Leader Rhino John Thun is concerned, he is absolutely losing this fight. He is getting absolutely destroyed. Even in the mainstream media, even in mainstream media, John Thun rhinos, you know, who usually enjoy, you know, the puff pieces and uh, you know, the pundits going easy on them in the mainstream media. John Thun is just so incredibly unpopular right now uh that he's getting the heat on Fox News even. Uh look at this. Senate Majority Leader John Thun is getting massive blowback for saying the Save America Act is done. Uh he said that we don't even have 50 votes. Mike Lee proved him wrong. Mike Lee really proved that John Thun is a liar and he showed where actually there are 50 votes. It's just that John Thun and some of these other Republicans, they don't want to take up this fight. But listen to the blowback that John Thun is getting on Fox News.
"Majority, I think the Republican senators use that against the House and say, "Listen, you can't afford to lose any votes either, so we can cause a stink." That really goes down the line on a reconciliation bill that the president floated attaching uh the Save America Act to funding through that. It goes down to Pentagon funding. Just about everything right now seems to be a larger fight between House Republicans and Senate Republicans than Republicans and Democrats."
I think that's the frustrating part for me is that when we ask representatives or senators about this, they often say, "Well, Democrats is like, I get it. I know. I know the Democrat position on this. I know the Democrat position on mass mail and voting and voter ID and citizenship." I know that. But my question is, why can't you get the Republicans in the Senate to move on this? And I understand that Senator Thoon, Leader Thoon, has said over and over again that he doesn't have the numbers, but you are the leader. So move them. Move them. That is your job.
Absolutely. Move the numbers. Make it happen. If the math ain't math, well, make it math because you make everything else math. When it's something that you want, when it's FISA 702, when it's anything, you know, any of these defense budgets and all these, you make it work. You move heaven and earth when it comes to funding like Ukraine that just passed. not too long ago funding Israel or any of the others these other foreign countries. I mean, shoot, we send what, like seven, what is it like $70 million or $7 million a week to al-Qaeda or something like that? It's just like, what the heck? And we do that, but we can't get the Save America Act passed where we have secure elections. Something ain't mapping there.
But ladies and gentlemen, what do you think? That's the latest for the Save America Act. It's looking like I don't know. It's it's looking pretty pretty good. You know, I just love how we've kept the pressure on and uh we see that some of these rhinos in the background are getting upset and that's how I know we're in the right heading in the right direction because when we're not backing down and they're getting upset, something has to give. And as long as we keep the pressure on, it's got to be them because if we don't let up, I mean, they're either passing this thing or they're screwed in their in when when their vote comes up, when their name comes up for a vote.
But ladies and gentlemen, let me know what you think about this down below in the comments. Like and subscribe to the channel. I'd really appreciate it. But until then, I'll see you on the next.
