Dr. Ali Ataie "It’s as if They're Preparing The AntiChrist”

Ansari 1:22:24

Transcription

This week we have joining us is Dr. Ali Ai. He is the dean of undergraduate studies at Zaituna College. He's a scholar of biblical hermenetics, comparative theology, and sacred literature. Dr. Ali Alawi, thank you so much for finally joining the Unsudi podcast. It's an absolute pleasure and honor to have you on the show. Welcome.

Thank you, brother. So yeah, it's been a long time coming. We finally we able to uh get organized and come on to your uh uh amazing podcast. So it's it's my pleasure and my honor to be here.

Yeah. And Dr. Adia, obviously I've I've been wanting to have you on and I I've had my viewers begging me begging me to have you on for years now. And when we were doing research on you, one of the things that shocked me was that you were Persian. You're Iranian. I I I thought you were Egyptian like me. I don't know why, but you gave off that vibe, so I thought you were.

And that begs the question to me. I mean, you're hearing your people, the Persians, the Iranians being called Amala. You're hearing that Pegas and uh military commanders within the United States army are telling soldiers, United States soldiers, that this is a religious war. Uh, you hear Trump being told that he is chosen by God to save the Jews from you guys, the Persians. I mean, as someone who studied religion and is a expert as much as you can be in this world on comparative religion and biblical studies, how do you make sense of everything you're hearing and everything going on right now with your own country and is and the world?

Yeah, it's um it's it's certainly a turbulent uh time. Uh the concept of of Amalcch is something that I think every every person now should be familiar with. You know, after 911, I'll tell you this, brother Mahmood, after 911, I got a lot of uh offers to speak at, you know, churches and synagogues and things like that. People want to know what's going on and what is jihad and things like that. So, you know, we uh we spent a lot of time, a lot of years, you know, just talking about um the Islamic tradition and and you know, what do these terms mean? Who are the Muslims? What's the Quran? Really basic things. Um and uh and now I think a lot of people, most people have heard of jihad, even though they probably many people still don't have the correct understanding of exactly what it is. And that probably uh is intentional on their part a lot of times. Uh but we have to know you know terms like what is h e r e em right? This is a biblical um war policy that's found all over the old testament. And essentially is annihilation. It's genocide of a certain targeted group of people. The word phenom is actually related to the word haram uh in Arabic. When something is haram, it's sort of set aside, right? It's distinguished somehow. So, this is a euphemism. So, when is decreed against a certain people uh in the Hebrew Bible, you know, Hebrew Bible, Tanakh, Old Testament, these are all synonymous. Uh these people are set aside for something. Well, what are they set aside for? They're set aside for absolute annihilation. Uh okay, so um so that's a term we need to know. and then Amalecch. Uh so, you know, in the Torah, in the book of Exodus, we're told that when the Israelites were in the wilderness, um the first group to attack them, uh was a group called the Amalachites. We don't exactly know, you know, who the authors are referring to. Uh but uh from then on, uh the Amalachites are seen as sort of this uh perennial enemy against the the um the Israelite people. You can say the Jewish people. Um and so traditional Jewish authorities, they would always try to determine who are they sort of genealogically, right? who who are the Amalachites? Um, and so there's 613 commandments in the Torah and in the Orthodox tradition, all of these commandments are universal and binding. Uh, although they might not be um applicable at any given time because some of their some of them are conditioned upon societal uh circumstances. Uh but the the commandment to to annihilate Amalcch uh is one of the 613 commandments according to the numbering of Mymonades. So that's a transhistorical commandment. Most as I said most classical traditional rabbis like mymonades for example who has a high position in the orthodox tradition uh his position is that since we can't determine genealogically who these memikites are uh then this mitzvah this commandment simply cannot be applied uh so they would go to a more spiritual type of interpretation that you know slay the amalikch within this becomes sort of like this internal struggle or jihad nuffs if you will. Um but not all rabbis take that position. Uh the Zionists take this position that Amalcch, the identity of Amalcch is not necessarily genealogical uh but fluid. It's based more of an upon more of like an attitude of certain people towards the Israelites or the Jews in general. Um and so Amalcch can change um over time. Um and so you know the Romans were the Amalch of their day and uh you know the Nazis were the Amalcch of their day. Of course you have um high ranking Israeli officials referring to the Palestinians uh as am as Amalcch or the Amalachites. You have uh them referring to the Iranians as Amalachites. Of course Netanyahu himself um invoked Amalch on two occasions on October 29th uh 2023. Um, remember what Amalecch has done to you, right? Um, so that's that's called a dog whistle, you know. So the uninitiated don't know what he's talking about.

Dr. Ali, yeah. What we hear, we're hearing all over social media about, you know, this drinking baby blood tradition for Passover for the Jews, uh, child sacrifice for some of their cults, and all these kind of strange things, you know, when a baby boy is born sucking on their private part, the rabbi does. Are all of these true? Is this actually a part of their tradition? Is this things that they actually practice? And if so, what is important for us to understand about how the Jews understand themselves, understand their place in the world, understand those around them, and understand what's happening today. Because it it's so clear that they see themselves as a specific character in a specific point in a specific story.

Yeah. So the last of those that you mentioned uh is called bit pep which is basically a covenant by mouth. So yeah this is practiced by some rabbis. Um it's a way of sort of effectively circumcising the child. Um uh it's a bit controversial obviously um uh but that is practice. The the first two. I mean, there was um you know, I mean, if you ask a Catholic, I mean, the Catholics have all of these child saints. You can look them up. You can just Google child saints murdered by Jews. This is probably a slander. It's probably a lie uh type of, you know, but like a uh a rabbi might say this, these are blood liels. Uh but in the Catholic tradition there are a bunch of child saints that Catholics believe were canonized because they were martyed by by Jewish elements um for certain ritualistic purposes. Um so that's that's in the Catholic tradition. This is not normative Judaism. You know the Cabala there's there's uh there's strange things in the Cabala. There's strange things in the Talmud. There's white and black magic in the Cabala. A lot of that stuff comes from ancient Babylon, right? Uh so a lot of

the Kabala, the Cabala is basically Kabala is how it's actually pronounced in Hebrew. It's something that's received. It's related to the Arabic word kabul. This is basically Judaism's mystical tradition or esoteric tradition uh that orthodox Jews actually believe goes all the way back to Abraham uh Ibraimisam. If you ask a historian, they'll say the Cabala sort of emerged in 13th century Spain. Um, so it's much much later, but it's it's basically the esoteric tradition of Judaism. Uh, a very sort of um textbook definition is that it's a spiritual interpretation of the Torah. Uh, but there's a lot of weird practices, mystical practices, black magic practices that are mentioned uh in the Cabal as well. There's a lot of book of books of magic that uh Jews in the Orthodox tradition um uh follow as well. Um, so we we we don't want to demonize, right? Um uh an entire group of people, but certainly there are very disturbing rituals and practices that some of them will engage in. They're not the same. Allah subhana wa ta'ala reminds us uh of that. Um, but this the the idea of is is not foreign to child sacrifice. I mean that's essentially uh what it is. Um, I mean uh Israel the current state of Israel the current ethnostate of Israel has this option called the Samson option. I don't know if people have heard of this. Um, you know, people have heard of the uh the Hannibal directive and but the Samson option is basically so Samson right in the book of judges was uh an Israelite judge who essentially killed himself but when he killed himself he took out a bunch of Philistines. So this the Samson option is that if Israel feels that it's about to be annihilated uh they can actually drop a nuke and just take out the rest of the world. I mean talk about a massive suicide bombing, right? Um and then there's different books written by historians about the the concept of uh Christian Hoffreader has a book on this where he basically calls a massive sacrifice human sacrifice right u because men women and children they don't discriminate and that's how you can have a an 83% 83% civilian kill rate that's Israel's kill rate and you know, we're not idiots. I mean, they might think we're idiots, but we're not idiots. I mean, they're targeting civilians, okay? You know, it's this is a joke that, you know, they say there's a member of Hamas hiding in the kitchen pantry of every Gazin house. It's just ridiculous. I mean, they they just bombed a synagogue in Iran, the Rafaia synagogue in Tehran. There's 30 synagogues in Tehran. A lot of people don't know that because just assume that Muslims hate all Jews and they they persecute Jews. There there's thousands of Jews living in Tehran and Israel bombed along with America a synagogue. So this is evidence that this is not, you know, some sort of precision attack. Uh they're they're just bombing indiscriminately. They're bombing civilian infrastructure. And that's just terrorism at its at its worst. I mean, a double tap is no accident, right? So that that girl's elementary school in Tehran in in Iran, um I'm not sure what city it was in, but apparently it was across the street from some military uh installation and so we just kind of missed our target, so we hit the school, but then they hit the school again. Uh, and the reason they did that is because they killed the children and then the military personnel whom they have declared Amalcch. I mean, if you don't, if you support the Iranian government, you've been declared a Melikite. So, Israel feels free to kill uh everyone in your family, if you support the Iranian uh regime. Uh, and so they waited for the military personnel, basically the parents of all these little girls, to go to the school, and then they hit it again. That's called the double tap. The second tap is to kill the survivors and the first tap is to kill and and the rescuers. Uh, so it's absolute barbarity. It's despicable.

And that's why I think it's so important that the question to to understand where these people believe they are in their religious story cuz once you understand what's ideologically motivating them, I mean you you can kind of get an understanding of what's happening. I mean, it's so clear that Netanyahu believes himself to be some kind of guide to the Messiah.

Yeah. Yeah. It's really interesting, too, because Netanyahu is probably not very religious. He's I mean, there's there's people who believe that he's actually his biographers and things like that who specialize in his family history that think he's actually an atheist. He's kind of like Donald Trump. I don't know if Donald Trump is very religious, but he's certainly uh surrounded by religious people. Uh and he's beholden to them. I mean, uh one of them, the Adles, they they gave him $300 million. These are hardcore Jewish Zionists. $300 million. If somebody gives you $300 million, you're basically their slave. And that's just one one donor. And of course, 94% of our Congress, uh they take money from the Israeli lobby. Um so these people are bought and sold. Uh, but yeah, Netanyahu, I mean, he's not he's probably not Seemetic, you know, he's Polish. His real name is Milikowski. He changed his name to Netanyahu, which means the Lord gives given by the Lord, right? This type of thing. Uh, uh, and he's probably an atheist. So, what is he doing in Palestine? What's he doing in the Holy Land if he's not Semitic? He's not a descendant of Abraham, he's not in the covenant, he doesn't even believe in God. And yet you have these Palestinians who are Semitic who are in Gaza in the West Bank and who do believe in God uh and they're being uh murdered with impunity. It's very very strange. It's very very strange times. Uh from a Christian perspective um this all comes down to something called dispensationalism. Okay. So Muslims, you know, we have to understand, what is the concept of in the Bible? Annihilation, genocide, mandated by God. It's it's not I'm not taking things out of context. I'm not, you know, uh I'm not ad liibing certain things. I mean, just read Joshua 6:21 example of kill all the men, the women, the children, kill the old and the young, kill the animals. This is repeated over and over again. This is this is uh this is how it's how it's detailed this these commandments. Um but dispensationalism is another one that we have to understand. So basically this is a type of radical esquetology that many evangelical Christian Zionists have latched on to and it's basically just a couple of hundred years old. The founder was named John Nelson Darby. So dis a dispensation uh means to dispense something means to deal something out. So this is how God deals with humanity according to Darby. Uh there there are two versions of the gospel. Okay, this this is uh this might get a little bit technical but I think it's important for me to explain this a little bit so our viewers know what's happening with these Christian Zionists because Christian Zionism is a big conjob. It's a big grift. It's absolutely against the teachings of the New Testament. As as many issues as we have as Muslims with the New Testament like there are things in the New Testament that we would never the New Testament apparently Isaam is a divine son of God. One could argue that he's God. I don't think he's God anywhere in the four gospels. He might be a divine being. He he's certainly crucified. We would we would disagree with those things. Um right. Um but the the the dispensationalists, the Christian Zionists, uh they absolutely go against the teachings of the New Testament. And so Darby uh he said that there's actually two versions of the gospel. Uh a gospel that Jesus was preaching to the Jews before his crucifixion. It's called the gospel of the kingdom. And then a gospel that Jesus revealed to Paul after his resurrection, the gospel of grace. Uh and so the reason why Darby said that is because he couldn't reconcile uh the statements of Jesus in the New Testament with the statements of Paul. And I actually um agree with Darby here that they are irreconcilable. Jesus and Paul are teaching two different things. Uh the answer is not to say there's two versions of the gospel. There's only one gospel. Uh the answer is to go with Jesus and not Paul. So this idea that Jesus is preaching, you know, two different versions of the gospel, this is how Darby reconciles contradictions in the New Testament. This gave rise now to something called dual covenant theology. Okay, so dual covenant theology is this idea that the covenant that God made with the Israelites at Sinai, that covenant remains open. Okay? In other words, the Jewish people do not need to even believe in Jesus as the Messiah. Okay? Their covenant is valid. So there's two covenants side by side. Okay? So this is totally radical. This is against, you know, Orthodox Christianity. This is against uh Roman Catholicism. This is against traditional Protestant Christianity that there's two covenants, two peoples of God. Um, and so that's that's that's basically the grift is that the Jewish people are still chosen by God irrespective of their rejection of their Messiah. Okay? And so Christian Zionists sometimes will quote often times will quote Genesis 12:3, right? Genesis 12:3 where God says to to Abram, who's who's later named Abraham, that I will bless those who bless you and curse those who curse you. Christian Zionists often misquote that verse uh because they've been trained to misquote it by the Scoffield Reference Bible. Um the text actually says doesn't say Israel, it says Abraham, bless those, you know, bless Abraham and I will bless you. Curse Abraham and I will curse you. Um, and then this verse is actually uh interpreted by Paul in the New Testament. And Paul is supposed to be according to Christians, he's supposed to be uh an inspired writer. Uh, as much as Paul disagrees with Jesus, I mean, that's an internal problem that Christians have to sort of deal with. Uh, like Darby, he tried to deal with that. But I think Christians need to make a good faith effort to try to understand what Paul is saying. And Paul in the book of Galatians, he makes it very clear that Genesis 12:3 is talking about Jesus and it's talking about Christians who believe in Jesus. It's not talking about Jews who reject Jesus as their Messiah uh and then um you know have this uh you know founded the ethnostate of Israel in 1948 uh even though they were the founders were atheists and they did it upon the blood of the indigenous Palestinians uh that were in the land. This is just a ridiculous uh conjob in in my mind. So people should study that. John Nelson Darby, John Nelson Derby, really important, right? Um modern dispensationalism, um the Scoffield Reference Bible. I mean, this is really what happened, right? And at some at some point, you know, the Oxford University Press, they they published this Bible and they were giving them out for free. um you know and that Bible really changed an entire generation of Christian preachers uh and to this day and so and one one thing that Darby said I'll just mention this one thing that Darby said uh is that his according to his reading of the Bible old and new testament that there's going to be a restoration of national physical Israel okay the the physical ethnostate of Israel uh will return uh as a precursor cursor to the kingdom period, which is the millennium, also called the millennium, when Jesus returns and reigns over national Israel for a literal 1,000-year reign. So, according to Darby, um there's indications in the Bible uh of of um uh Jews coming out of diaspora one more time uh and essentially building the temple, the third temple. And uh that's absolute blasphemy. There there's no mention of a third temple in the Old or New Testament.

On this podcast, we cover many aspects of Muslim life. And one aspect deeply discovering is Muslim building, Muslim development. I mean, look around you. Your household items, your office supplies, your clothing. How many of those are Muslim brands? Muslims spend $9.6 trillion globally, but no Muslim brand is in the top 100. We buy everything, but we own almost nothing. That's one reason I was excited to learn about the AUBI Collective. The Aubi Collective is led by experienced Muslims producing and selling products fully online. They're advised by scholars like Shikh Joe Bradford and Sai Manhani. Many have built multi-million dollar Muslim brands and are now accepting applications from Ansari listeners who are interested in doing the same. So, if you believe that Muslims should own more of the products that they buy and you're interested in being a part of the change, then this may be your way in. What are the signs of day of judgment that the Christians and Jews are currently looking at and seeing as something that they would either like to speed up to make come true right now?

And yeah, how Yeah. Basically what's happening now is that Christian Zionists believe that in order for Jesus to return okay uh there has to be a third temple built on the temple mount uh in Jerusalem. Okay. Uh and that's because of Darby dispensationalism. Again if you read the Bible closely and this is the position of of Christianity for hundreds and hundreds of hundreds of years. There's no indication as a third temple anywhere in the Old Testament or the New Testament. Jesus never talked about a third temple. He did uh prophesize the the the destruction of the second temple, but there's no third temple. Um in sometimes Christians will point to first Thessalonians where where Paul says that the the man of lawlessness, the son of predition, which Christians believe to be the antichrist, will sit in the temple of God. And they say, "Okay, this is the third temple." Oh, if you believe Paul wrote that, first Thessalonians, uh, actually second, sorry, second Thessalonians. If you believe that Paul wrote that, uh, he wrote it before the destruction of the second temple, which means the second second temple is still standing. So there's no reason to believe that Paul is talking about some future third temple, and the second temple is still standing. And then in the book of revelation um John of Patmos he has this vision of the new Jerusalem of the future and he says very explicitly uh there was no temple therein. So this whole idea of a third temple uh this is a Jewish belief. Okay, it's not a Christian belief. This is a Jewish belief that Christians have been hoodwinkedked essentially into believing uh and so they were tricked into believing that uh that the second coming of Jesus is sort of conditioned upon uh the coming of this uh third temple. And so they want to hassen, they want to accelerate uh the the building of this uh of this third temple um in any way that they can. And so these, you know, red heers, right? These these these six black uh sorry red cows um they were actually they were born in Texas. They were raised by Christian Zionists in Texas, you know, and they were that's and that's why they were a bit controversial for a lot of Orthodox Jews is because they said, "Well, they have to be born in Israel."

Do do you think is going to be successful? Do you think that they'll be able to destroy a Laka mosque and build a third temple?

Um, you know, I don't I don't know. It's it's certainly it's certainly possible. I mean they can't destroy the al axa compound you know let's not forget that Allah subhana wa ta'ala in the Quran in he he refers to the entire complex as a right that he carried his servant on a journey by night from the inviable mosque in Mecca uh to the farthest masid ala. So the the buildings that are there now masid um in in the middle of the temple complex and then if you move south you have the black domed masid alaka. Those buildings obviously weren't there at the time they were built later. Um so that entire complex is called masid alaka. So they can never destroy that but they may destroy the masid um which is there right now and that would be a major provocation uh and just really set the world off. I mean, just set the world on fire if they were to do something uh like that because uh that's obviously considered a desecration of the temple complex or the Axam Sharif um as as we see it. Um, and so now you have like rabbis like this guy Mizrai who's I don't know I think he still has a channel on you YouTube. Some of these guys are just they're so genocidal but they they just you know they kept they keep them on on these channels. Uh he he kind of winked and said, "Well, you know, who knows? Maybe an Iranian rocket, wink wink, will hit, you know, the um the Dome of the Rock and we can build our our temple." And this is kind of the MMO of Israel anyway, is this idea of the false flag operation. This is something they're known for. So, so I was a bit, you know, um, fearful when Israel shut down, uh, three the three holy sites um, just a few weeks ago. I don't know if they're if even if they've been reopened. I think I think maybe

I think they just opened also today, I think.

Oh, really? Okay. Cuz yeah, they they shut down the church of the holy supplr, uh, the Western Wall in Masid Ala. So, you know, what what's actually going on over there during that time? Who knows? uh you know um are they going to achieve this, you know, what what are some of these people calling it this pack Judeaica greater Israel? I mean, they're already wearing the patches uh some of the IDF. I mean, if you talk about these things 10 years ago they would say, oh, you're just a conspiracy theorist, right? You're, you know, you got you're wearing a tinfoil hat, you got your head up in the clouds, you're an anti-semite. I mean, they'll still call you an anti-semite even though it's it's brazen now. I mean, they have the the patches is um so greater Israel is what they believe Zionist Jews and Zionist Christians believe uh God gave to Abraham um God gave to the Israelites, I should say um in Genesis chapter 15 all the land between the two rivers, which is like, you know, half of Egypt and and the northern part of Saudi Arabia and all of Sham, all of the Levant, half of Iraq. You know, this is why they're they're annexing. I mean, Israel, the the modern so-called nation state of Israel has never defined its borders. And Bengurian was very clear, the first prime minister of Israel, David Bengurian, another atheist. That's not even his real name, right? But he was very clear that, you know, we're going to agree to some partition, but you know, you should know that we're going to annex the entire country uh eventually. And so that's what's happening now. There. There's a ceasefire, you know, apparently Trump

and they're moving into Lebanon now.

Yeah. And Israel broke.

You think how how much do you think they're going to succeed in this? When you look at our own prophecies, our own day of judgment signs, it seems like doesn't exist after I mean doesn't exist um when the Mai comes. It seems like the Mai actually rules from Jerusalem. So does that mean?

Yeah. Yeah. I mean, there is a hadith. I think there might be weakness in the hadith. I think it's it might be uh mentioned by immedi Ammed that the the army the mahi will come from with the black flags. And there's a version of the hadith that says and there's weakness in this version that uh they won't stop until they plant their flags at alkut um in Jerusalem. Um, and so we, you know, we hope we hope for that, right? And of course, uh, we believe in the appearance of the mahi. A lot of Christian Zionists, um, they mischaracterize our beliefs on purpose. They know better. And Jewish Zionists as well. Uh, so they'll say something like, "Oh, the Mahi is the Muslim Messiah." Uh, no. The nobody calls the Mahi al- Msier. I mean, there's an opinion that the Mahi is the Messiah, right? They're the same person. Uh, but Muslims who believe that the Mahi is separate than the Messiah um uh um, you know, they don't they don't conflate the two that that the Messiah that the Mahi is a descendant of the prophet Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wasallam, so that's not the Messiah. That the Messiah is Isaam. So that's something also that a lot of Christians uh don't know is that Muslims believe in al- Ms the Messiah Messiah and the Messiah is Isaam and he's the only Messiah and the Quran is explicit that he's the Messiah, right? Um, so this is one of those things that um people don't like to talk about because it's very eye opening. It's very revelatory. I'm reminded of this this podcast when Joe Rogan was uh talking to Ben Shapiro uh who calls himself an Orthodox Jew. He's a modern Orthodox, so he's a Zionist, right? Um and so he said, "Well, who was Jesus according to you?" And uh he was a prophet, right? And then Ben Shapiro says, "No, he was not a prophet. He was just uh some Jew who tried to over throw the Romans and then he was killed for his trouble." So a a false, you know, Messiah, an insurrectionist. That's the Jewish opinion about Jesus. And that's as as that's as nice as you're going to get an answer with respect to who was Jesus in the Jewish tradition. They call Jesus Yeshu, which stands for Yamakoviko. Uh which means it's an acronym. It sounds like Yeshua, but it's not. It stands for may his name and his mention be erased forever. Right? Uh so that's how they talk about Isaam. A lot of Christians have no idea. A lot of evangelical Christians, I I've talked to many of them in my life, they actually are many of them are under the impression that Jews believe in Jesus as the Messiah.

What, you know. Yeah. They have no idea. And and and they think that we're like this anti-Christian religion. We're antichrist religion. Uh which is very very strange. And speaking of the antichrist, I mean the anti the word antichristto is only mentioned a couple of times in the New Testament um in the in the book of first John and first John describes the antichrist sort of uh we can say attitude or mentality um and it has a couple of characteristics. One characteristic of the antichrist according to first John is that they don't believe that Jesus is the messiah. Anyone who doesn't believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the New Testament says this is the antichrist. Right? Uh so that's very interesting because Muslims believe we believe that Isaam is the Messiah. Do we believe he's the Messiah in exactly the same way as Christians? No, we have difference of opinion and we can talk about those differences and have respectful debate about the metaph metaphysical status of Isaam. But at least we agree that he is the Messiah and we both love him as the Messiah and as a prophet of God and we honor the mother of Isaam. We don't insult her. We believe that she was a a truthful pure woman. There's a surah in the Quran called surah Mariam that uh in honor of the mother of of Jesus Christ. Peace be upon uh peace be upon both of them. So, right now we have Peter Teal, the co-founder of Palunteer, a military tech company powered by AI that seems to be making doomsday technology for the military to be able to spy on people, bomb people, and he is obsessed with the Antichrist. He has entire summits. He's been on six-hour workshop rants about the Antichrist. Apparently, he just had one in Venice where it was a multi-day event just about the Antichrist. It was closed off only for elites. And as we saw with Jeffrey Epste, there's this constant uh worship of this one God. I mean, what what do you make of the Antichrist becoming rhetoric amongst the global elite who allegedly rape and murder and eat children and commit all kinds of weird acts? What's going on here?

Yeah, it's um it's really interesting that I mean he's he's really defending himself. I I think I don't know maybe he has, you know, we believe that people have conscience right so con science which means that we're born with some innate knowledge we're born with some intuition something like that that we know the difference between right and wrong at a very basic level uh and so I think he has a guilty conscience. I think he knows that what he's doing uh is essentially celebrating the coming of the antichrist and so in response to that he's going to hold conferences in private by the way you I mean it's very expensive and they don't allow any recordings and things like that or he's going to defend what he's doing uh and um you know defend himself as being someone who's trying to actually stave off the antichrist. So this is his claim um that in uh the book of first Thessalonians when Paul is writing about you know um or second Thessalonians sorry I always get these two mixed up when Paul is talking about the man of predition you know why hasn't he come out yet? It's because of something called the catacon. The catacon which um a lot of pen a lot of ink has been spilled from pens trying to discover what is Paul talking about here. It comes from kata e echo which means to means something that's down and then to hold something. So the katakon is some is is something that holds down the antichrist. Imagine holding down a dog with all of your strength and then the dog you know you let it go and it bolts. Uh, so Peter Tea is saying that his technology, you know, whatever it may be in weapons and surveillance and I don't know what else he's involved in transhumanism probably that's what's actually keeping the antichrist at bay. This is how he's justifying what he's doing. Uh, of course he's challenged on this. He did a um interview with a Catholic uh podcaster who said, "No, it actually seems like you're you're bringing about the Antichrist, not actually preventing him or staving him off in any way." And he didn't really have a good good answer for that. Um and so, yeah, from our tradition, you know, we believe uh in the coming of the Messiah the Jal. This is one of the major signs. There's 10 major signs, the coming of the Antichrist. And there's difference of opinion amongst our scholars as to whether the antichrist actually has a type of supernatural ability given to him by Allah subhana wa ta'ala uh as a fitna or is it just you know it's just smoke and mirrors it's just uh you know parlor tricks or technology I mean there's traditions that indicate the antichrist will kill a man and put him back together again you know is that some sort of transhumanist technology I mean this is what the elites are trying to do uh Um, you know, one of them was asked uh after his TED talk, "Do you believe in God?" And he said, "Not yet." Uh, in other words, they're they're literally trying to upload their consciousness into clouds and then download them into these robotic avatar bodies that they can just replace over and over again. They can just live forever. Um, and become, you know, gods as they see it. Um, and so, um, you know, it seems like the antichrist has some pretty incredible access to some pretty pretty incredible technology. And the center of all that, by the way, is is Israel. Israel is just leading the world in, you know, AI, uh, in surveillance and weaponry, and in transhumanism. It's just, uh, it's like they're preparing, uh, you know, the land for their so-called king, uh, to come. It's it's uh it's really really interesting what's what's happening right now with technology.

I mean, one of the craziest things that's happening right now is that, you know, the the the Jed is the ultimate deceiver, right? The ultimate liar. And the thing that's happening right now is that AI is the ultimate deceptive technology. It is the ultimate thing that can show you a video. Nowadays, no one even knows. Like one of the I think one of the most profound things about the rumors that Netanyahu was killed was no one being able to prove or disprove a human being being alive. I mean, that was insane.

Strange.

It is insane. Do you think that AI plays a role in the story of the gel?

Yeah, I I think so. I think I think it does. That's that's how it seems like that's how he's going to manipulate so many people, right? And it it seems like it's going to come down to a point where very few people even have access to this type of technology. Uh the vast majority of people won't. Um and so, you know, we have hadith that indicate that he can, you know, order issue a command to the sky and it will rain and issue a command to crops and it'll grow crops. So he has some sort of incredible technology at his fingertips. He has an arm that reaches the bottom of the ocean. And so, yeah, people just they don't know what to believe anymore. That that's a fitna of our age. Muslims in the past, they never had this type of fitna, you know. Um, you know, we just now we're watching things, you know, somebody will send me a video and the first thing that comes into my mind is, is this even real? But yeah, you're right. That's that's the the very thought I had when, you know, they were releasing these videos of Netanyahu is that, you know, is this is this even real? I mean, what am I what am I looking at? Uh, and and the quality of these things is is just going to get better and better and much more difficult to detect. And you think about what they can do with with their technology in terms of blackmailing people, putting their faces on different bodies and things like that, generating videos out of nothing and depicting people doing things to blackmail them. um you know so um I think yeah I mean the the the tactic as you I mean dal right the jal means deceiver to deceive he's the master deceiver and it seems like you know he's going to be using technology to do those things.

You you've studied the history of Jewish the Jewish religion and the Christian religion and of course the Islamic religion. Has secret societies have these cults always been a part of Judaism and Christianity?

I I think there's Yeah, there's always been, you know, an element of Ahmed Kitaba practices this type of black magic, right? And believes that um in this case that all of these non-Jews or these Gentiles are basically here to serve them. I mean, there's discussions about this in the Talmud as well um and other uh books um of traditional Judaism um about how Gentiles have only one soul while Jews have two souls. So Allahhana quotes them, you know, it's it's not incumbent upon us. We're not going to be held accountable for exploiting these these goim these Gentiles. Uh, and so when we're not seen as fully human, we're just sort of seen as cattle or just kind of just kind of half this kind of uh missing link between a cow and a human, it's easier to to to kill us essentially. Um, you know, and so if that's that's what you've been indoctrinated into believing uh is that the goim or the Gentiles are just cattle. They don't have souls uh or they're here to serve us. Then doing a double tap on a girl's elementary school uh becomes a little bit easier, I think. And that that is a form of child sacrifice. That that that's what that is.

And that's why I found it so important. I started off the episode with asking you to break down for us what they believe. What they believe themselves to be, what they believe us to be, and what they believe we are together in in the in the story of humanity and right now where they think we are because it's like a know thy enemy. I didn't we I don't think most people knew I I guarantee you 99.9% of the world didn't know that this is what Jews thought of them.

Yeah. So where we are now is that you have radical Jewish elements that are in a Netanyahu's ear like Ben Gavir and Smootrich and others who believe that um they need to build a third temple or they need to get the ball rolling for the third temple in order for their king Messiah to come and when the Messiah comes he's basically going to conquer the world. I mean, there's going to be a lot of battles and bloodshed and think like things like that but eventually he's going to conquer the world and uh the Gentiles were willingly become the servants of all of the Jews uh in the world. This is what the rabbis talk about. This is in their tradition that we're all going to sort of willingly become their slaves and it'll be an honor for us to do that according to their according to their sources. Uh so this is all about power. You know, this is, you know, settler colonial European uh mindset. This is, you know, the sort of secular aspect of Israel married to this radical Jewish esquetology and interpretation of the mitzvot uh that the majority of traditional Jews did not adhere to. My monities, yeah, he believed, you know, mitzvah number 528 says that you have to massacre all of the Canaanites, the seven nations that are between the two rivers. You have to or in the holy land uh you have to massacre them. But my monadity's opinion is that since the Canaanites are no longer distinguishable amongst other people uh that this this commandment is no longer applicable. You just you just can't fulfill it because the condition is no longer there. But then you have other rabbis like Nakmanades, you know. So my monades is the ram with a meme at the end. Nakmanades the ramban with a noon at the end. He said, "No, I mean this this is a standing commandment that that uh everlasting statute amongst the Jews that they have to constantly go into the Holy Land and cleanse the Holy Land of whoever's there." You know, and so these radical elements right now that are in uh Netanyahu's ear that are in charge in in positions of power in Israel, you know, this is this is what they're trying to do. They're trying to cleanse the land. I I I thought it was interesting, you know, that that the prophecy for the Jews being that when their Messiah comes down that people will be willingly their slaves. That all the goyam of the world will become willingly their slaves because at least from my perspective as a Muslim, I see that their Messiah is going to be the antichrist. And so when they follow the antichrist and people of the world willingly follow him, I think that actually kind of lines up. And I think it's just I I think it's just beautiful the way Well, not beautiful, I think it's scary the way things are lining up, right? Because the Christians are the ones that pushed uh and placed the Jews in Jerusalem to hasten the coming of Christ. And the Christians believe that Christ is a man that calls himself God and believes himself to be God. And so then when Christ comes down and the Antichrist comes down and one of them is calling himself God and the other one's calling himself not God, calling himself a prophet and saying that he's Muslim. The Christians are going to see Jesus, the real Christ, as the Antichrist because he's not calling himself God. And they're going to see Antichrist as God. And so almost the Christians and Jews are going to merge together into following the antichrist and some of the Muslims obviously.

Yeah, it's so obvious how it's like playing out.

Yeah, I think that'll happen. Uh, but I also think that like when the Mahi comes, he will he will deal with the Mus he'll reconcile the Muslims. Uh, he'll create unity among Muslims and things like that. And so

Isaam, he will he will rectify. So you're right, though. I think a lot of people will reject him because, I mean, I was talking, I was debating a Christian years ago, and he, and I said to him, I said to him, you know, if Jesus comes back and he says he's not God, what will you do? And he said, I'm going to go ahead and worship him anyway. You know, so with some of these people, it's just, it's like you're talking to a wall. You can show them evidence upon evidence, and it just, it doesn't do anything.

Um, but I, I think, at least my understanding of the scenarios of the man is that Isaam, he will convert a lot of Jews and Christians, uh, to Islam because he was going, he's obviously going to return as a Muslim leader. He's going to follow the Sharia of the Prophet, sallallahu alaihi wasallam, uh, and be a Muslim in that regard. He's actually a companion of the Prophet by definition, and he's a Sahabi. Uh, and so many of them will follow, uh, Issa Al-Islam, uh, and and believe in him as the true Messiah, uh, and reject, uh, anything to do with his so-called divine status or vicarious atonement for sin. Um, uh, so that, that'll, that'll happen as well. There's going to be a reconciliation. He'll, he's going to provide ample proof that he's the Messiah, uh, inshallah. But yeah, there's, there's obviously going to be, um, a lot of, uh, conflict as well.

And the other thing I wanted to mention also is that, I mean, for hundreds and hundreds of years, almost 2,000 years, um, all of the Jews basically believed that, um, that they, that their diaspora was mandated by God because there's many, many passages in the Hebrew Bible, like in Deuteronomy chapter 28 and and Deuteronomy chapter 4 and other places that, um, that if you sin, God will cause you to dispossess the Holy Land. Uh, right. Uh, and so traditional Judaism believed that they were in diaspora because of their sins and they could not return to the Holy Land, um, until the coming of the Messiah. Uh, but with the rise of Jewish, uh, Zionism, all of these things were reinterpreted, um, uh, in radical ways.

And so what you have now, and there, there are still some Orthodox anti-Zionist Jews, um, right, like the Satmar and the Neturei Karta, but they're very much a minority now. But the founder of the, um, Satmar, uh, uh, Hasidic, uh, or Haredi dynasty, Rabbi Yoel Teitelbaum, uh, he actually said this was his opinion. He said that the, the Holocaust was, was divine punishment for European Jewry adopting Zionism. I mean, it's that serious. And he would cite rabbis in the Talmud. I mean, obviously, there's many, many opinions in the Talmud, but he would cite rabbis in the Talmud who would say that, you know, if you try to hasten the coming of the Messiah by standing up any type of Jewish sovereignty, you're going to be hunted in the woods like a deer by God. You know, so Teitelbaum's position is that God used Hitler as his wolf of vengeance, right? This idea, uh, um, you know, that Allah says about the Babylonians, um, that, uh, that he raised upon you, you know, people of extreme violence. Is this idea that God will punish you with another nation, and servants of ours of extreme violence. That's Teitelbaum's position. Um, that the Holocaust was actually punishment for adopting Zionist principles because you're breaking, you know, you're, you're violating, um, you're, you're violating the clear, the clear and and, uh, obvious teachings of the of the Tanakh.

>> Yeah. So I, I saw a hadith where the Prophet, peace be upon him, apparently said that 70,000 that the, the Dajjal, the Antichrist, will be followed by 70,000 Jews wearing Persian shawls. As, as we saw today, that a, a synagogue in Persia was what was struck. So there are Jews in Iran to this day. What do you make of this hadith, and, and do you think it's talking about Jews in Persia?

>> Um, it's, it's an interesting, uh, question. Um, I asked one of my teachers. I mean, it could, it could be in the past. It could be something that's already happened, a diaspora or a, sorry, an exodus of Jews leaving diaspora in Iran and going back to, um, Palestine, uh, during, um, uh, you know, this kind of Zionist wave that happened a few decades ago. Uh, 70,000 also could be sort of just a number that represents a, a very large number, right? Sort of like an exaggerated or, or a way of saying a very large number of Jews from Iran or Isfahan. Um, or it could mean something that's going to happen, uh, in the future in the sense that eventually, it could be that Iran will become, uh, Balkanized, as it were. I mean, this is what Israel wants. Um, Israel wants to Balkanize Iran. What that means is, and this is part of something called the Greater Israel project or the Yinon Plan. Uh, right. Um, you can read about this, the Greater Israel project, that the goal of Israel is to get to basically realize Greater Israel, and the way of doing that, uh, is to sort of to sow discord and, um, sectarianism, and basically create all these failed Arab states around them if they can't buy them off and, you know, things like that. Um, and then so they become easier to conquer.

So Iran is really the last sort of major power, uh, in the region, uh, that is putting up a fight, as it were, uh, against Israel. Uh, and so they really want to create a failed state in Iran. So what that means is completely just demolish the government of Iran. Um, and, you know, have basically, and this is what they've started to do. They've, they're arming the Kurds in Iran and they agitated a lot of these, um, uh, protests that were happening, uh, in Iran where a lot of people were killed because some of the protesters were armed by Americans, and according to Mike Pompeo, Mossad was on the ground too in Tehran at the time, causing riots and shooting police officers and things like that, causing fitna. So basically, they want to get Persians to be fighting Kurds within Iran, fighting the Turks in Iran, fighting the Balochis. So there's this ethnic Balkanization, and then you also want to get the Shiites to to fight the Sunnis, fighting the Jews, fighting the Christians. So when that happens, if that should happen, uh, then it just becomes very, a matter of time before, you know, Israel comes in or America comes in, whatever you want to call these two powers, the, the axis of Epstein, uh, they come in and basically, uh, just, just take over the region.

And so, um, and so the next government, whenever that is in that region in Iran, obviously will be very sympathetic, very Zionist in nature. Um, and so if we are to think about this, how it's going to play out eventually, there's going to be so many Zionists in Iran that when the Antichrist shows up, and the Antichrist, Christ actually comes from that region, according to our tradition, he comes from, uh, he comes from the East, probably from Iran itself, um, even though he's ethnically Jewish, um, that 70,000 will follow him from that region.

>> Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. So the Antichrist, according to our tradition, is an Iranian Jew?

>> It's very likely. Yeah, it's very likely. There are some, some of our mentioned that the Antichrist himself is from Isfahan. He is from, from Khorasan. Um, so he's, he's from that region, Iran, Afghanistan, maybe Isfahan itself, which is in Iran. Um, and he, it's indications are that he's also, uh, Jewish because early on, some of the Sahaba thought that a man in Medina named Ibn Sayyad, who was actually Jewish, was the Antichrist. Um, some of the Sahaba believed that early on until the Prophet, peace be upon him, gave more information about who the Antichrist is and his descriptions and things like that. Um, and so if, if the Zionist Jews are going to adopt or accept the Dajjal as being the Antichrist, then he really has to be Jewish because that's a, that's a red line for them. I mean, the, the Messiah has to be Jewish, or else we're not going to accept him as the Messiah.

>> So, Allah, but it seems like it's, it's plausible, uh, that that's what's going to happen, Allah. But that, that's fascinating that you're saying that both may be coming out of this Persian Iranian region.

>> Yeah.

>> Do you think this will lead to World War III?

>> I certainly hope not. You know, um, unfortunately, there's a lot of people in Israel that are openly discussing a nuclear option, um, you know, and if that happens, you know, if Israel drops a nuclear bomb on Iran, it's not going to destroy Iran. I don't think they'll submit to it. And then other countries like Turkey will suddenly say to themselves, oh, we need to get, we need to get ourselves ready as well because Israel is talking a lot of stuff about us and that we're next, uh, and so that could, uh, that could precipitate into this, um, you know, this kind of, um, really hell on earth with people dropping nukes, um, which obviously, and then, you know, the Russians and the Chinese will get involved. Um, and so, you know, it's, it's scary times, but we have to always be optimistic and we, we always prefer peace. We don't, we're not accelerationists. We don't, we don't believe in, you know, um, unlike a lot of these people that are in power, uh, in our government and the American government and the Israeli government. We're not trying to accelerate the coming of these end times because the Prophet, sallallahu alaihi wasallam, he said the worst fitna, the worst fitna in all of human history is the fitna of the Antichrist. So we don't want to be around during those times. It's a very, very difficult time. So I hope, I'm, I'm optimistic that, um, that, you know, it, there'll be peace tomorrow. I mean, um, you know, that, you know, and and Trump is, Trump is a very unhinged person. You know, it's like, you know, that we need to take the keys away from grandpa already. Uh, he doesn't know what he's saying. I mean, he's threatening to obliterate an entire civilization. Uh, I mean, talk like that, I mean, uh, if Iran decided, if the Iranian government decided when when they heard that, they said, "Okay, he's going to wipe us out. We're going to preempt with something major." They would be justified doing that. Very dangerous the way that he's speaking to these countries, you know, uh, threatening to obliterate their entire civilization, not just their government or their regime or something like their civilization. I mean, that's big talk, right? Um, and so we should, we should make dua for our leaders. You know, Allah subhana wa ta'ala can change their hearts. Um, and that's really what we need. We need good leadership. We need, we want to see peace in the world. I, I certainly hope this doesn't, you know, spiral into a major conflagration. But unfortunately, you know, a lot of these Christian Zionists that are in our government, that's what they, that's exactly what they want to see. They just want to see the world burn, which is a very, very sick, it's this demented, uh, mentality, you know.

So, you know, you know, we have to, we have to be on our guard. We have to, we have to pray. One of my teachers said that, you know, the low-hanging fruit of the Antichrist, of the Dajjal, are Muslims that don't pray. He just picks them off. They're easy, easy pickings, you know. We, so we have to be about our business. We have to do our daily prayers. We have to be in wudu. Um, I even advocate, you know, um, you know, not going down these rabbit holes of social media because these things are just designed, uh, to preoccupy us, to make us worried, to make us desperate, uh, even to, you know, um, cause us to have existential crises and things like that, crisis, uh, of faith. So we have to have the discipline to be able to, uh, to regulate our intake of social media. There's a lot of people on social media, uh, that are being paid. They're shills for Israel and, and, um, you know, I've noticed, you know, I get, you know, these, these videos in my, being being fed to me by the algorithm, just really, really horrible anti-Muslim content, um, you know, by people I've never heard of. Uh, and so what they're trying to do is they're trying to pit Muslim against Christian. Okay? Because the Jewish humanity is very, very small, only 15 million people, and there's only maybe 2 million Orthodox in the entire world. Uh, but Muslims are a billion, Christians are a billion. Uh, and so in order for Israel to continue, uh, as it were, they need gentile support, gentile money. Uh, right? So they need to get the Christians, they need to keep the Christians on their side, right? Um, and so this whole plot about dispensation, that that totally worked, right? Um, and, uh, you have people like John Hagee, you know, Christians United for Israel. Uh, he's based out of Texas, who's making these very strange claims. You know, he's saying that if you so much as raise your voice against Israel, he's talking about the, the current nation-state of Israel. If you raise your voice against Israel, you will incur the wrath of God. This is a Christian preacher talking. Very, very strange. I mean, you go to Israel and you, you know, it's not uncommon to find, you know, Orthodox Jews walking by Christians and spitting in their direction, you know. Um, I mean, it, there have been Israeli members of parliament that have tried to pass anti-Christian legislation to make it decriminalize talking about Jesus in Israel. That's the nation that Christians are supposed to bless, according to John Hagee. It's very, very strange. In his book, In Defense of Israel, he said that the, the, the Jews never rejected Jesus's claim to be the Messiah because Jesus never made the claim. This is, I mean, what is, I don't know what this guy's reading. I mean, if, like a historian, you know, like let's say Bart Ehrman said, you know, I don't believe Jesus ever claimed to be the Messiah. Well, he's coming from a secular perspective. So he's very skeptical about, you know, the New Testament. But if you're a Christian preacher and you're saying Jesus never claimed, Messiah, never claimed to be the Messiah, I really don't know what New Testament you're reading, you know, what is, what is this man saying? I mean, he's lost his mind. Uh, but, you know, it's, uh, it's very lucrative and, um, unfortunately, that's, that's the, they need to get. So if, if Pharaoh is, you know, a foreshadowing of the Antichrist, then then who are Haman and Korah? You know, who are the military and the money of the Pharaoh? Well, that's, that's the Christian right right now that is supplying Israel with money and arms. It's absolute blasphemy to support the building of a third temple because Jesus is the third temple, according to, he's the new temple, according to the New Testament. I don't necessarily believe that as a Muslim. You know, I don't believe he's the temple. I don't believe he's the ultimate sacrifice. But this is the teaching of the New Testament. Uh, and we need to steal man the teaching of the New Testament for Christians so they can at least know what the text actually says. Um, uh, and, and, uh, and they'll, they'll see that, um, Jesus is the temple. So giving money to the Temple Institute in Jerusalem where these sacrifices will return one day when Jesus is supposed to be the ultimate sacrifice is absolute kufr according to the New Testament. I mean, it's just like you're throwing, you're throwing Jesus away. You're throwing the New Testament in the garbage by supporting Israel. You know, if you're a Christian, it's, it's absolutely antithetical to the teaching of the New Testament. As much as we disagree with it, uh, you know, if Christians would just follow the teachings of the New Testament, they would not be supporting Israel whatsoever. Obviously, we'd have difference of opinion. We could talk about theological differences, but at least they wouldn't be war hawking for Israel. And I think, like you said earlier about our leaders, our Muslim leaders, and, and making dua for them, I really do pray for them that they see what I feel seems to be a little obvious. I mean, like you've, you've mentioned multiple times, Greater Israel and the Yinon Plan for that, that that includes land in Syria and, uh, Saudia, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt and Jordan. So everyone's getting affected by this in the Arab Gulf states. So I don't understand why they would ever align themselves with a Zionist radical state that is bent on murdering and killing every last one of them. Why would, why would they align themselves with Israel over Iran? I, I don't know. That's a very good question. It's a, it's a big mystery. I wish I knew the response. This is just a fitna of our age. These are things that just, you know, the fitna of the end of time was just, you know, you just, you can't wrap your head around these things like what is going on. You know, it's interesting, the Quran says, you know, you know, don't take Jews and Christians as allies. They are allies to one another. And that's a very interesting because Jews and Christians have never been allies, certainly not at the time of the revelation of the Quran. This verse is actually a type of prophecy because this term Judeo-Christian was not even in, was not even invented until like the 19th century with the going of the Zionist movement, 20th century. You know, so like right now, I was talking about Christians United for Israel, the executive director, the former executive director of CUFI was David Brog. David Brog is the cousin of Barak, the former Israeli Prime Minister. Why is a Jewish Zionist the executive director of Christians United for Israel? Well, you know, this is, this is, uh, it's really extraordinary. The verses of the Quran are just really, really amazing. If we really just, you know, Quran, if people just really have like deep, penetrating analysis of these verses of the Quran, it's, it's just a, it's a healing, it's a solace, um, and we derive a comfort from from our book. So people can't forget that as well during these tough times. And inshallah ta'ala, inshallah, inshallah, you know, these conflicts will be resolved shortly. I hope. This is our hope. And there's going to be peace in and in in Iran, peace in the Holy Land. Um, but don't forget to read the Quran, engage with the book of Allah subhana wa ta'ala, make, uh, you know, these things. Uh, our heart requires our hearts require these things. Only with the remembrance of God do our hearts find tranquility. Nothing else, you know, no amount of, you know, going down rabbit holes on YouTube or, you know, people watch video after video after video. They have to know what's going on and, and then they find themselves depressed and full of anxiety and they can't wake up for Fajr and things like that. Uh, so again, I would just caution people, um, it's, it's, it's good to know what's happening in the world, but we, we can't be obsessed with it. We have to know that this is the nature of the world. Be informed. Make dua. Um, do our prayers. And for those of us in the position to speak, we should speak out, uh, and inform people about about things because because speech is very powerful. Words are very powerful. Words can change the world. We shouldn't just, you know, we shouldn't just discount, you know, words are extremely powerful.

>> Dr. How do you, how are you dealing with these dangerous times spiritually, mentally?

>> Yeah, it's, uh, so, you know, with me, it's, um, again, just having, uh, you know, a daily sort of routine and sticking to it. Um, you know, focusing on on my prayers and focusing on my family. I, I'm not on social media. I mean, obviously, a lot of people, um, will find it difficult to kind of just leave. There's going to be a little bit of engagement, I understand that. But my recommendation is to really limit that as much as possible because that's what's really giving us a lot of anxiety. Um, uh, and then if you want to know what's happening in the world, you can watch a video or two, watch a news story or something. But when we keep going down that cycle of watching and watching and watching, um, that does something to our psyche and it can really just kind of traumatize us and, and to a point where it's hard for us to snap out of it. Um, so I advocate taking care of your mind, your body, and your soul. I mean, we should, we should go for walks, we should exercise, we should work out, take care of our bodies. Uh, we should be reading every day. Read something. Read Quran, read some Seerah, read anything. Um, it doesn't have to be related to something that's that's religious or sacred, although that would be good. Read some Hadith. Read the biography of the Prophet, sallallahu alaihi wasallam. Just, just read a book. Read, I don't know, read the histories of Herodotus. I have it right here on my, right here on my desk. These are, these are books of of ancient wisdom. Um, and then take care of the soul. Make, uh, pray to, even to make dua. The Prophet, sallallahu alaihi wasallam, he said, supplication is the essence of worship. He said, it's the weapon of the believer. We take these things, uh, seriously. Allah subhana wa ta'ala can change our condition like this. It's very easy for him. Remember the principle again. So the onus of changing the external conditions is on Allah, as long as we change what is inside. So the external conditions will change if we change what is on the inside. But if we want to change the external conditions without changing what's on the inside, then that's not going to work. You know, we have to, we have to change ourselves. And this is what Isaam again was trying to do with many Israel when he came the first time. But they rejected it. They ran, they, they ran out of patience with him and they tried to essentially put him into trouble with the Romans to force him to become this political military Messiah. Uh, so if we're not praying, I mean, what do we expect from Allah? If we're not praying five times a day, what, what do we expect? You know, if we'd rather, and I, you know, and people might get angry with me for saying this, but I'm going to say it. If you, if I don't, I don't even see how it's controversial, but apparently it is. That if you prefer to go to a protest over your prayer, try to go to both. That's the best. But if you have to choose one and you choose a protest over prayer, that's a problem because it is to do your prayer. It's a command from Allah subhana wa ta'ala. Allah subhana wa ta'ala can change our condition like this in an instant, right? But we have to pray. This is something that he's commanded us to do. So we have to make, we have to make those, we have to make those changes, implement the deen of Allah subhana wa ta'ala in our lives, and we will see to.

>> I, I, I think what we, what we have really lost is communal worship, communal prayer, communal dua, right? Like I was, I mentioned this to to sister Jose, actually Jose from Zaytuna as well. I, I said that people long ago, even the British, even the Europeans, the Christians, and the Muslims obviously, when a ship would set out to sail, the entire town would gather on the dock and pray to their God that that ship returns safely. When soldiers would go out, the entire town would come out, right? Same thing when anyone, when when traders would leave, they would go out and and make dua altogether. And I was wondering like, when did we ever come together as an ummah and make dua, come outside into the streets and make dua for Allah to relieve us of what's happening in, what's happening in Iran, what's happening all over the Muslim world? There's almost like, you know, I've been talking to people all Ramadan about how there's like this spiritual cap. There's, it feels like nobody feels this spiritual upliftment. I was talking to a Mufti who was telling me he's struggling right now. And I think one of the reasons that may be, and I'd love your thoughts on this, Dr., is that we are not spiritually competing with evil, right? Our duas are not as much as their sacrifices. Our good actions are not as much as their bad actions, and so on.

>> Yeah. No, I totally agree with you. Um, of Allah, this is the greatest knowledge, knowing intimately Allah subhana wa ta'ala, and the way that we know him is through his messenger, is through the Prophet, sallallahu alaihi wasallam, the Sunnah of the Prophet, because the Sunnah of the Prophet has, the Sunnah of the Prophet, and he's the walking Quran, right? And so engaging with the Quran, engaging with the Sunnah, and implementing those things, this is how we can be successful in both worlds, and this is how we can maintain strong iman. Uh, so when things like this happen, that's the nature of the world. I mean, the nature of this world, uh, you know, is that, uh, we're going to certainly feel or experience loss of life and property and loss of children, as the ayat of the Quran tell us. You'll certainly hear much from the people of the book that's going to grieve you. But if you have patience, that is to say, self-control, self-discipline. In other words, you know, you, if you're prophetic, if we're prophetic in our attitude, uh, and self-control comes from a knowledge that Allah subhana wa ta'ala is in control of everything. Uh, and we guard against evil. We have taqwa, uh, we have piety, we're conscious of Allah subhana wa ta'ala, we fear Allah subhana wa ta'ala, uh, then that will be the determining factor in all affairs. So it comes down to a crisis of knowing our Lord, you know, just who is Allah, what is he, what, what is he revealed to us, who is his Prophet, you know, the, this, this is the greatest of knowledge.

>> Yeah, uh, Dr. That, that's all the main questions at least that I have for you. Now for some speed round questions that I usually do. I wish we had you in person. One day we'll get to do one in person. I'm going to be coming to California soon. I want to do a road trip over there soon. Anyways.

>> But.

>> Okay.

>> First one for you. If you had any superpower, what would it be?

>> Superpower? Um, to be able to recite the Quran, any part of the Quran, as well as the Fatiha. I just, I just want the Quran to be easy for me.

>> Yeah, that's amazing. That's actually the first time I've heard that one.

>> If you could go back in time to any place and observe and or live in it, what time period would you choose?

>> Oh, I mean, I would definitely go back to Medina at the time of the Prophet, sallallahu alaihi wasallam. Uh, and just, you know.

>> Oh, the caveat is you can't choose the Prophet's time.

>> You, I can't choose the Prophet, sallallahu alaihi wasallam's time. Any other time?

>> So I, I'd go back to the time of Isaam.

>> Oh.

>> Yeah. I just, I try to, I try to meet him.

>> Yeah, that one makes sense for you.

>> Yeah.

>> Um, when Allah enters you into, uh, Jannah, what's the first thing you'd love to do?

>> Um, first thing in Jannah? I don't, I don't know. Um, I'd probably be looking for the Prophet, sallallahu alaihi wasallam. Uh, that's, that's probably the first thing I'd like to do is search for him. Uh, if not, search for my family, probably.

>> Yeah.

>> I like how you answered realistically, like, like probably like based off probability statistically, what would Dr. I most likely be doing the first thing is that that's actually how you answered it.

>> Yeah.

>> I mean, I can't even imagine that, but from my perspective now here, that's probably what I'd be doing.

>> I mean, I mean, may Allah bless you and allow you that and much more in Jannah. I mean.

>> Dr. Ali, thank you so much for joining the Unsaudi Podcast. It was an absolute pleasure to have you on the show.

>> Thank you, bro. Thank you, brother. Appreciate it. Had a good time. I know that the the subject matter is a bit depressing, but again, I remind just people as a last note to to be people of optimism. The Prophet, sallallahu alaihi wasallam, was a very optimistic person. He had a lot of trials and tribulations in his life, and he was known as, which means like the smiling Prophet. He was always smiling because he knew his Lord, he knew Allah subhana wa ta'ala, and he knew this world compared to the next world. He knew how to put things in perspective.

>> Yeah. And, and there's that hadith where it's, uh, plant the, put the seed in the ground even if it's the final day, right? Even if the hour is rising.

>> Exactly. Exactly.

>> I mean, if the world is ending, you might as well just have fun, right? Well, in a, in a, uh, halal way, obviously.

>> Yeah. We just have to be about our business. The world's ending. We have to pray Asr. We pray Asr. That's what we do.

>> Dr. Ati, Dean of Undergraduate Studies at Zaytuna College and scholar of Biblical Hermeneutics. Thank you so much for joining the Unsaudi Podcast. It was a pleasure to have you on the show.
