the function of mercury is mental perception. relatedness, how one thing relates to and informs another, is a mercurial purpose, and it's achieved through the process of association. so, intellectual pursuits are the realm of mercury, as well as learning and communication of all kinds.

mercury also represents short trips because it is our everyday life. the interchange of human information and closed human commerce is that main role of mercury. how we learn is shown by the aspects to mercury, and what we learn is going to be shown by the sign that mercury resides under. what we choose to learn about, what we mainly talk about, what we've mainly how we think.

mercury really represents our siblings because these are the first and main people we learn the process of relatedness through, how to associate with people in a closed environment. sibling relationships are that first training we receive regarding how to operate among co-workers, how to cooperate with neighbors and those we affiliate with regularly and casually. so, our skills regarding getting along in the workplace or our daily environment really stem from how we were regarded by siblings and how we regarded them ourselves. what was the condition of the relationship there? how effective we are as an employee or worker or man is determined by how we are viewed and viewed our siblings as an ally or foe.

so, our skills are also ruled by mercury. the proficiency of what we do, our effectiveness, how we want to perfect something, how we want to criticize ourselves or respond to criticism in in an effort to make something better, to keep improving it. so, do we function and communicate well or with reserve or with lack of confidence? aspects to mercury going to show this. and knowledge, the intellect, the ability to think quality thoughts or not. that's the realm of mercury.

since mercury can never be more than 28 degrees from the sun, it facilitates the absorption of solar electrical energy that emanates from our central star and distributes it to enliven the human nervous system. mercury is excuse me, mercury is the fastest planet in the solar system and carries forth the purpose of the sun at lightning speed and supplies nervous energy, both of the nervous system and of the personality. and this nervous energy is the first building block in the perception of environmental stimulus. mercury distributes solar power along the nerves. it is the conduit for the action of the sun.

when we understand that mercury is the servant of the sun, the servant of the soul, because the sun represents both the identity and the soul, the process of self-actualization, then we can begin to recognize the source of the primary energy, the king, the sun. the staff that was carried by mercury, the staff with two serpents intertwined around it. this staff was used to wake the sleeping and to send the wake to sleep. this is the work of the mind.

mercury, the reporter of both the solar and earthly environment, and is the trickster of the solar system. depending on how you respond to the tricks of the mind, you'll either be further put to sleep or awoken to recognize the source behind mercury, the sun, the soul, the seat of of it all. so, mercury acts as the boss, but he's actually the employee of the sun. we returned to life when we recognized the self, the source that sends mercury on his daily errand so he can wake up from the belief in mortality.

mercury represents the daily agenda, what needs responding to in short order, what's important right now. so, mercury is a small thinker, a critical thinker, and he is a small actor. he is managers and micro managers, and the son is the CEO. mercury is the management of that big boss power, and we can bypass the small manager and go straight to the big boss when we realize that that's where the source of what we're really after really is. so, mercury is the manager that runs around the building delivering memos and spreading the will of the CEO, the son. remember always that mercury acts as if he is the source until he is recognized for what he actually is, a sharp, diminutive, nervous manager with a Napoleon complex.
