Today we're going to settle the biggest debate online. McDonald's new Big Arch verse Burger King's new Whopper. You got fast food CEOs literally burger mogging each other. Let's see which one's better, though.
We have McDonald's Big Arch here. We have a new bun, sesame seed and poppy seed bun. Inside you have lettuce, onions, pickles. Pretty standard, very mustard heavy sauce. Two quarter pound patties, white cheddar slices. You have one on the bottom, one in the middle, and then one on top.
And here you see the new Whopper. We have a double patty, sesame seed bun. The bun is actually a lot more fluffier. The other thing they changed too is actually some sort of mayo sauce. Now, both these burgers come in around $9. Let's do a little taste test and see which one is better.
We're going to start with the Big Arch. The Big Arch is surprising very flavorful. The mustard heavy sauce really comes through. I do like the fact that it's two patties and two buns. You know how with the Big Mac, it's two patties and three buns. It's too much buns. But, I mean, for $8, not bad. But the question is, why does the McDonald's CEO call this a product? Is this even real meat? Some people calling this human meat. Yo, McDonald's, you got to let us know in the comments. Man, I love this product.
Now we have the new Double Whopper. Hefty burger. New bun. Supposed to be a lot sturdier, fluffier. Wow. The taste is noticeably different. This is a good burger. One of the biggest differences between Burger King and all the other fast food spots is that their patties are flame grilled. A doctor told me that if you're going to eat any fast food, you got to choose Burger King because it's healthier. All the fats drip down into the fire.
All right, so we have the Big Arch and the new Whopper. The Big Arch, honestly, a lot more flavor punching. The uh sauce is really strong. The new Whopper, a lot more fresh. It's a much more balanced bite.
