Trump vs China Over Taiwan

The Economic Ninja4:43

Transcription

Hey everybody, Economic Ninja here. Hopefully you're doing great.

So Trump is ramping things up slightly with the leader of China. And check this out. It's interesting because we have to understand that we're at a polarizing time. A time where the president himself knows that he has to polarize, um, the whole, all the BRICS nations against continually forming an alliance against the US dollar, and he's got to come out swinging. So out of CNBC, this is really important to see where this could lead.

Trump told the the leader of China, "I don't talk about whether the US would defend Taiwan from China." Now, this is in essentially retaliation to the leader of China's uh speech, the opening speech in where he said some pretty crazy, wild stuff directly towards uh Trump. Um, says here, and I'm going to run through the key points and we'll talk about it. President Donald Trump says he refused to directly answer Chinese President uh Xi Jinping when asked if the United States would defend Taiwan if it were attacked by China.

So straight up, the the leader of China is trying to get Trump into a position of aggression, right? Or he's feeling them out to see if he's going to bow down to China because he brought all these corporate leaders. He wants to set a uh a precedent and really get China to open up to American businesses, right? Now it says here, uh this is Trump, right? He said, "That question was asked to me today by President uh Z. I said, I don't talk about that." Trump told reporters aboard Air Force One as he flew back to the US.

Now, the leader of China uh warned Trump at the start of their two-day summit in Beijing that the US and China will have clashes and even conflicts if the long-standing issue of Taiwan's independence is mishandled. And I pretty much believe at this point he means mishandling meaning if you cross us or you don't allow us to take over Taiwan because that's ultimately what China wants.

Now, this is very important to see when the the slight sound of war drums start beating between two superpowers over a country that they want to take over, especially primarily over the semiconductor uh race. These chips are so valuable, especially as the world is trying to become the leader in AI. It's important to understand that as the rhetoric gets louder and louder, this can have drastic effects in the stock markets, which are going to have really drastic effects in the bond markets.

If you haven't been watching the bond market, the 10-year crested over 4.5%. That's a pretty rare number. And that's when markets start to freeze because things get really expensive due to the cost of debt. Hey, I want to remind you uh that that bundle package, that crazy stupid price when I put together the market cycles, real estate course bundle, the real estate cycle course, the home buyer pro, or all that stuff, the the home seller pro, all that, it was $49. I'm ending that this weekend. It's not going back to that price. Okay? So, if you want it, the package, of course, is the links down below.

Now, this will affect real estate drastically as it already has because as the 10-year bond rises, mortgage rates rise, people are having a huge issue selling their homes. I am seeing the multi-million dollar home. Now, you you sit there and go, "Ninja, I'm not there. I'm not a millionaire." Look, you have to watch because the multi-million dollar market drastically affects the lower markets. The people that own these larger homes that are having a hard time selling them are investors. So when they start to panic that they can't sell their home, they're less likely to put more money into the stock market, into the real estate market, the crypto market, and all kinds of things.

And what happens is there's less money out there like during COVID when things skyrocketed and people were buying and selling stuff and money velocity was high. When that comes to an end, you start seeing those cogs of the economy. I'm seeing trout like cruising, right? I should have my fly rod right now. Here, I'll show you. They're they're all over this place just like boiling. Uh, they're hungry. But my point being, sorry, I get thrown off easy. I want to go fishing. Um, the the point is is that when those cogs come to a a slow, they never come to a grinding halt, but a slow stop. That's when things get really spicy. And that's where that's a great alarm bell for you as a potential real estate investor in the future or um, somebody that wants to just buy a house, be happy, and live the American dream.

Look, I got to go. I can't stop looking for fish. So, the economic ninja is out.
