The Bob Jones Story is Worse Than We Were Told

Minor Prophets50:21

Transcription

Something goes wrong every single time I live stream. In fact, I don't even know if I am live right now. If you see this, please let me know. I need to know if this is actually going live. It looks like it's going live. I'm not 100% sure.

Anyway, we're here to talk about Bob Jones. Um, Dr. Ron Caner, my friend. Um, I just got to say I deeply appreciate Dr. Ron Caner. He has been incredibly, um, just a huge blessing to the body of Christ. I have seen his uh work of advocacy for now it's maybe going on, is it almost three years? He was involved in the um Mike Bickle situation uh with IHOP KC. He was involved in investigating and he was part of Tun. And I mean, he has gone to bat, lost friendships, he has he has sacrificed a a lot. I've had plenty of chats with Ron. I am so, so grateful.

Yeah, thanks guys for letting me know we're live here. That's great. I, I, I, you guys don't know this, but like I was just live for um a a second. Some of you guys do know this that I was live and there was no sound and so like something goes wrong. And so then I turned it off. I went live again, but I wasn't live. I was just recording. So I talked to nobody for two minutes. I'm like, "Where's the chat?" And that, you know, uh there was no chat because there was no live. Um, so you guys missed a really great uh two-minute live stream that went to nowhere.

But anyway, talking about Ron, Ron is the man. I'm just super grateful for him and uh he deserves he deserves a lot of credit in uh in the church, in the body of Christ. I saw somebody post an article. I, I won't uh name it or or say who, um, but accused him of, uh, when he went after he on this channel, he made some comments about, uh, um, about Greg Locke. Um, now, I, I just want to say this. I just saw a horrible, horrific news about um some tragedy that has happened to Greg Locke's family. Uh, I'm not going to take this time to make any comment about him at this time, just out of respect. I think that that's just, you know, there's a time and a place and uh so, um, nevertheless, um, Ron Caner had some things to say about, uh, about Greg Locke and I agree with the things that Ron Caner had to say. Somebody came after Ron and accused him of saying Ron's going after Greg Locke, but he didn't go after Mike Bickle or or uh Michael Brown. I'm like, what do you think, what do you think Ron's been doing the last two years, uh, three years, you know? It's, Yeah, I mean, Google, use Google, right? I It's just crazy.

Anyway, um, Ron has been unfairly hit, I think. And he is, um, I just wanted to say a word in his uh in his defense on that. So, um, Ron has done an interview with a woman named Sue. Uh, Sue is now alleging more, um, there's more allegations of, um, SA, um, from from Bob Jones. Now, we already knew that there was a, there was a mother and a daughter and, um, some, I can't even go into into detail about the abuse that happened, but it was all surrounding prophecy. And prophecy was used to SA a mother and a daughter together. Uh, and that alone is absolutely abhorrent. Um, it is a, I mean, if Ananias and Sapphira were struck dead for lying to the Holy Spirit, using the Holy Spirit to SA somebody is absolutely, I, I can't even, I can't even think of words. The the anger that that makes me feel. But then to see this, this was not a one-off. It wasn't just a one-time thing. That there was actually a pattern that was going on here is is, um, I, I want to share a little bit of Ron's video. It is linked down in the description below. So, if you just want to skip this live, you know, and and watch it for yourself, you can. Uh, I can't stop you, right? But, um, uh, Ron is, uh, he's, he's doing the Lord's work over there. But I am going to share just a portion of Ron's video. And, uh, let's see if this works on the live, but he just prophesied, you know, um, and prayed for individuals. So I was really excited. I was like, "This could be great." Um, so after a, I think it was a nightly service, me, the counselor, and Bob met.

>> So just to be clear, Bob is not a psychologist. He's he's not educated, I don't believe. Um, but he was known as a prophet and, um, a lot of people watching know who he is, but a lot probably don't. Bob Jones, uh, a very simple man who, uh, allegedly had significant prophetic, uh, visitations, revelations. And so I'm assuming people would come to him for counseling, not because he had any expertise in in, uh, counseling someone in psychology, but because he could get a prophetic word about maybe why they were struggling. Uh, is that the situation?

>> Right. And and and there there would be times he'd be on stage with Mike Bickle and and Mike would say, "Yeah, Bob told me a dream I had." You know, like Daniel had, you know, like, "Hey, this is this is the dream, Mike, that you had." And everyone was really wowed, you know, and impressed. Um, you know, the prophetic was really valued and and I loved the prophetic and and um I thought, "Sure, this this sounds like it it really could be useful." And um I was excited. So um so we met at the um after the service that they had bleachers, we met on top of the bleachers and um so, you know, I I explained, you know, a little bit to Bob about what I wanted prayer for. He put his hand on my forehead and he he got word about my past that I I hadn't told anyone. Not my sister, not close friends, not not even my counselor who was there with me. So, I was like, "This is this is >> so so this is important to pay attention to." She's saying that um he got words that were super specific about what was going on. I, I'm saying super specific. She doesn't say such a thing, but um that's the implication. She's attributing this to some sort of supernatural revelation. Um, and it it may very well be. She's saying she never told anybody these details, but then look at how this revelation is used. And then we're going to think through what are the possible explanations for this phenomena. Okay.

>> This is awesome. You know, God's here. I was really encouraged. Um, and then he said that he had balm on his hands and like healing balm.

>> Balm. B A L M.

>> Right.

>> Right. Right. And and so and then I was, you know, I, I was just, you know, focusing on God and and and then he slipped his hand under my jeans in front. Just suddenly, I was his hand was on my head before that and then he just started moving his hand around and then prophesying and saying,

>> "Okay, I that's as far as I want to go with that. I It is very difficult. That's that's very difficult to stomach here. Um, but the man that's So, here's what's going on. He he uses prophecy. He's getting these very specific details, things that would wow somebody evidently. And either he's, you know, cold reading somebody and he's able to do that. Uh, or or this is utterly demonic. Uh, this is this is utterly utterly demonic. I'm This guy was the This guy was the um Grand Pappy of Prophecy for Morning Star, for Bethel. Um, Bethel had this whole video after his death, uh, attributing he's he's a hero, you know, um, saying, you know, this is a hero. He he is integrally tied to the prophetic history of not just IHOP, but, you know, Morning Star had their own prophetic history and then Bethel, like he was he was so tied in with with Bethel. And it's like these three, these three things he was he was kind of a founding father of these three movements that I think are going up in smoke. And I, when I watched Ron's video, um, it just made me so unbelievably angry. And it was like this, I, I'm going to, I'm not This is not a a place to like emote. Some people are like, John Mark, you're always getting emotional on on your videos. And so, uh, I'm going to try to hold it together and not do that. But I just want to express that the like hearing this testimony and the fact that these things were known. They were known and they were covered up. Um, like the way that that Sue was treated is was inexcusable. Um, she she tried to advocate for herself. She was she was yelled at or or chided, chastised for, you know, being after money because she was somebody used the the Holy Spirit ostensibly, um, the name of the Holy Spirit at least, in order to SA her. And as I said before, if Ananias and Sapphira were struck dead for lying to the Holy Spirit about an offering, what happens to people like this that use prophecy as a means of grooming and SAing people? And then what happens to a culture that builds itself up on somebody like that as the cornerstone of their movement? I'm, I, I just, like, you guys know I, I'm a charismatic, right? I, I believe in the continuation of the gifts. I seek to be used in these things. Um, and when I was a young man, you guys, you guys all know this. I, I feel like a broken record on these things. When I was a young man, Bethel and Bob Jones was just so like, I mean, you know, I would just be like, deeed, you know, just wide-eyed like, "Wow, look at all these stories." And yeah, maybe you can go up to heaven and and, you know, maybe there, like, there's some of the stuff that I, I have seen, um, behind the scenes. There's like, there's audio I've heard of Mike Bickle wowing the the crowd that, um, uh, that Bob Jones can smell cancer. Like he got struck by lightning and that's how he got these spiritual gifts. He, he said, like, since when does spiritual gifts come from being struck by lightning? I just, so you know, but I was a young man and here's what sold it for me was Mike Bickle's um skepticism. You know, Mike Bickle did a great role of playing the skeptic and he's like, yeah, I didn't believe any of this stuff, you know. I was a, uh, cessationist. I was like, you know, whatever. And and so he's like, but then I saw it and I was amazed and you're like, whoa, okay, well, Mike seems super credible, you know, everybody Everybody vouches for his character and, you know, he's just seems like this great stand-up guy. He's really humble. He seems to be like the real deal and he's he's saying all these things and it seems like this is really what's going on. And it was just a, it was just a pack of lies.

So, um, I think so Daniel Fall's, uh, he, he's part of or, you know, he's part of IHOP. He wrote a book called, uh, oh man, it was something about Pat Bickle. He was friends with Pat Bickle. I can't remember. It was about the the history of the Kansas City province. And um, in it, he writes about how angry Bob Jones was after he was being disciplined by by Mike Bickle. He was so bitter at Mike for disciplining him for sex. Sorry, I'm live streaming for SAing for SAing um women and using the Holy Spirit to do so. Like the gall of somebody to be upset about that reveals. So he called, you know, who was in charge, his babysitter, who who was in charge of enforcing his his um accountability was a guy named Bob Hartley. Bob Hartley, everybody. Um, so so Bob Hartley is his and Bob Jones was so bitter about this, he called Bob Hartley his jailer. And so I don't think, you know, I'm I'm almost certain as much as I can know these types of things, this is not a repentant person. So this unrepentant prophet who is using spiritual gifts that I think is utterly demonic to SA people is the cornerstone of this sort of whole N movement. One of the one of the big cornerstone guys, like like everybody's basing stuff. Uh, like the um Bethel, Redding, they have a, they have, um, uh, a whole prophetic history of of their thing. It was a word from Bob Jones and and I have a friend who is part of Bethel, Redding. He's like, they had this whole thing and it was built up with this this prophetic thing about the Gulliver man and like none of it happened. It was completely false. And they're like, "Well, you know, whatever."

I'm just, um, anyway, I'm I'm rambling a little bit. This is why I never go live because it may seem it may seem that I have it all together, uh, on these recordings that I post, but there's, uh, I, I edit out a lot of ADHD random thoughts. Um, the reality is, there's a whole movement based upon this guy, and it's it's wicked. It is vile. And the amount of anger I feel today over this, I can't even express. Um, I can't even express. And because it's not just him, it's the fact that people looked the other way and thought it was just a fall. They thought it was just a fall. And they and they sold it to us like that, you know, he was a gifted man, but he was broken. You know, he had his he had his faults. He was just like David, don't you know? And it's like, no, I, I, I'm willing to bet dollars to donuts that there weren't just it's not just a mother and a daughter and it wasn't just, uh, Sue. I bet you don't just go, you don't just go there, right? You don't just put your hand on someone in that way, um, out of out of out of nowhere. You never go zero to 100 just like that. I bet you there's more. And who who knows how many more. And who knows what, who knows, who knows? I don't know. But I would I would be willing to bet that people people do. I would be willing to bet that people do. So, and what is what is being covered up? What more is being covered up?

Anyway, that's just something that I'm that I'm, I don't know, processing right now. I'm I'm so angry. If you guys want to watch Ron Caner's Ron Caner's interview with Sue, it is certainly worth watching and processing. Um, definitely worth watching and processing.

So, um, elephant in the room here. I promised a huge video today. Um, and you might be thinking, well, aren't I watching a huge video right now? This is the best video I've ever seen. And, uh, I would be saying, well, yeah, that's true, but there's another better one that's coming actually. And, um, I had there's some things that I, I, I prematurely um set a release date when there was something that was not in place. It was it was my fault for doing this. I have to put something in place before this video goes live. So, it will go live um soon. Uh, I can't say when, but soon. It's it will uncover what is the epicenter, I believe, of cover-up culture. Um, some people don't like that word, but I think it's apropos. And um, I, I'm very, I'm eager and anxious for that video to go live. I'm nervous a little bit. I'm a little nervous. Um, but, um, it is, it's, it's an important video. It's an important video. Um, and, uh, I've been working on it all year. So this is going to be this is going to be a big deal. I, I think. And so, um, stay tuned. Stay tuned for that. Um, uh, yeah. So sorry I I teased everybody like it's dropping. It's it's dropping immediately. No, it's not.

So, um, in other news, Joni Lamb, uh, Joni Lamb, uh, has passed away. Um, I was speaking with Blair Fay about this and there was a sober sense of the fear of God. And some people think like, you know, I, I do not believe that Joni Lamb's marriage um was God-honoring. Um, and I, I believe that um, there was some, I bet you she wishes she would have listened to the podcasters. I bet you she wishes she would have listened to the podcasters. This is not a this is not a game. People are going to stand. We are going to stand before the Lord and this matters and this is the mercy of God to like bring exposure. I mean, uh, the wise rebuke a wise man and he will love you. That's what the scripture says. Um, rebuke a fool and he will hate you. The scripture also says that, um, a This is this is the thing about this. I, we are we are seeing the exposure of a business that has been growing on the backside of Christianity over the last several decades. It exists to make money. It exists to build fame. It exists to make superstars and superheroes. And so there's these um extraordinary claims that are that are made and and you have to one-up the other guy with with the most sensational story. And somebody who's just serving God faithfully in a prison, uh, doing prison ministry. Uh, somebody who's just pastoring a church faithfully and seeing God do great things. People are getting saved. Like, it's awesome. But but nobody loves it. Um, everybody loves everybody loves the the sensational story, um, being part of this grand sweeping narrative, like like the prophetic history that we're this special new breed, right? This is the latter rain thing. The new breed of Christianity is here and um this is the Joel's army and it's happening right now. And if you will be a part of our special group and by the way, give money to our special organization, you will receive this impartation and this anointing and you will be maybe you will be part of of the new breed. And if you know Katie Souza, they'll never die, right? Um, it's just absolutely absolutely absurd, you know, they'll never die. Um, and so this is just, um, this is really, uh, sorry, I'm looking at the chat. It's distracting me. Uh, I, the ADHD is it's strong tonight and I'm tired, so forgive me. But we have this system that's been built on the the backside of Christianity and it has been growing like a cancer and I feel like the Lord is tearing it out. This is surgery. And I fear actually because it's like, you know, what am I doing? I've got a podcast. Yeah. I, I, I want views because I think that the views increase the power of the message. I feel like I have something important to say, but isn't that kind of like narcissistic and egotistical for me to say? Like, I think I have something important to say for the body of Christ. I don't know, man. I, I, um, I think I think Jesus has something important to say and as long as we are sticking to what the scriptures teach, reminding the church of what Jesus has taught us, that's what needs to happen. And I think what's happening right now is within the charismatic movement, there's just been these these things that have been, um, the super apostles have come and they've got something better than the scriptures. They've got they've got their latest trip to heaven. They've got their werewolves and their their vampires and their astral projecting witches and they've got their their time travel and like, you know, um, and sow a seed and spy angels will go like, come and take my my 30-week course for $19.95 on how to how to go to heaven every other day. You know, I'm just, how How do we get like this, man? How do we get like this?

Anyway, uh, so I'm, I don't know. I'm, I'm probably not going to live stream, uh, too much longer because I don't know that I have anything super important to say, uh, other than I think that everybody should go watch Ron Caner's video and think about think about this. This is wicked. This is wicked. Um, I'm just like, how did how did we let this happen and how do we keep it from happening again? I want to like, uh, I, I want to make a t-shirt like Kosar was right, you know, like this. It just he just, uh, he was right about so much. Um, you know, I'm just, Yeah, it's just terrible. It's just terrible. Um, I want to maybe, uh, I want to shift gears a little bit. I, I don't normally do this. I, I never do this on a live stream. Uh, or I've never done it. Maybe this is something that I'll do. Uh, uh, maybe this is something that I'll do more frequently. Uh, I, I want to read a little bit of scripture and I just want to talk about Jesus. So I'm pulling up my my handy dandy Logos Bible software and we are gonna hold on. I got to pull up Matthew. Okay, let me know if you guys can see this. Should be able to in just a second. Boom. All right, here we go. Um, something I've been thinking about here. Um, I've in my church, we've been doing a series through Matthew. And so, I've got a, I've got a house church and then our church is a church of house churches. So, um, I preach on Sunday nights, uh, on occasion and we've been doing a sermon series through the Sermon on the Mount. So we did the Beatitudes. We talked about what it means to be poor in spirit, which is to recognize your deep need for God. Um, we talked about those who blessed are those who mourn. Blessed are the meek. They shall inherit the earth. Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied. Blessed are the merciful, for they shall receive mercy. Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God. Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God. Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness' sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are you when others revile you and persecute you and utter all kinds of evil against you falsely on my account. Rejoice and be glad, for your reward is great in heaven. For so they persecuted the prophets who were before you. This is one of the things that I am seeing with with Ron, uh, Caner. Um, first of all, there's this poor in spirit, this deep recognition of our utter, uh, need for God, that we are completely dependent upon him, and the reward is that theirs is the kingdom of heaven. The kingdom of heaven is God's rule and reign. Right? This is, uh, wherever the king is in charge, the basileia of of the heavens. Um, th this is this is God's rule. And so blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted. And I hope that this is, I hope that this is true of us in the charismatic movement who are mourning. The transverse I think is also true. Those who refuse to mourn shall not be comforted. Those who refuse to recognize that this is that we are in desperate need of an actual move of God that will bring about repentance, conviction of sin, that will that will root out the wickedness in us. Of course, we've been seeing this and of course it's going to continue. We don't need a prophetic word or anything to recognize that this is this is a trend that is happening right now. But I'll say this, there are those who mourn and then there are those who scoff. Those who say, "Ah, that's the accuser of the brethren. Jezebel spirit. That's just Absalom. That's just, you know, you come up with the the spiritualizations in order to ignore the prophetic voice of God that is speaking to the church to repent." And instead of repenting, there is this hardening of the heart, the stiff-necked people that won't listen when God is saying repent. But those who will mourn, who will see the depravity and say, God, God, help, help, those people will be comforted. And I hope that that is, I hope that's true. If we look at what like those of us who were part of this this structure that was built upon, you know, figures like Bob Jones and figures like, uh, these things, and we cannot we cannot pretend that this was just an isolated incident and it was just one individual and it was just this one thing and, you know, it wasn't pervasive. What does the scripture say? A little leaven leavens the entire lump. Purge the evil from among you. Why? Because if you don't, it will contaminate the whole thing. And what have we seen? I, I mean, what are we seeing? Contamination. Contamination. Contamination everywhere. We're seeing it everywhere. And I'm, I'm like, if you don't, if this doesn't, if this doesn't cause you to mourn, to weep, to tear, you know, like put on sackcloth and ashes, figuratively speaking. I mean, like, if this doesn't, you want the comfort of Christ, repent and mourn. Repent and mourn. Says, "Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth." I've done a video about this, but really the the idea here is that you this is kind of the opposite of the dominionist attitude, right? The dominionist is like, blessed are the powerful, blessed are the influential, blessed are those who are can pull the levers of power and pull the puppet strings and make sure that they can they can, uh, influence influence the the world and they will inherit the earth. No. What does Christ teach? Meekness, meekness, humility, service, love, good deeds. Not trying to exalt oneself, but want trying to go low and saying, I will, I will go low, I will serve and whatever. And Jesus says, those are the people who will inherit the earth. Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied. You know, the charismatic movement would be like, blessed are those who hunger and thirst for revival. Uh, for they will be perpetually hungry for more. Uh, they will be on the treadmill of exhaustion trying to seek more of God. We're not to hunger and thirst for for the revival. Listen, I want to see God move. I, if we define revival accurately, I think it would be right to say we all want it, right? Um, this is souls being saved. Uh, I want to see legitimate miracles happen. I want to see healings. I want to see God moving in powerful ways. I, I want more of his tangible manifest presence. And you know, when I, when I pray and in our meetings, like, I love all of that stuff. And if that's how you define revival, sure, give me more of it. But if I want that stuff, the trappings, more than I want Christ, more than I want him to transform my life, to make me more like him, more than I want his righteousness to invade the church in the world and to see see his character be manifest in me first, right here first. If I don't have a hunger and thirst for that, then I'm then I am seeking for the wrong thing and I won't be satisfied. I will be on this continual hunger and thirst for more. But Jesus is saying, if you hunger and thirst for righteousness, you will be satisfied. Blessed are the merciful, for they shall receive mercy. What I see with Ron Caner is a man who is merciful, not to predators, not to people who are preying on Christ's sheep. You know, uh, I see Ron Caner coming with a with a staff for those, but I see him being merciful to the people whose voice has been ignored for decades. This woman, this woman was SAed the year after I was born and she is only now telling her story. This is Sue, and it is mercy to allow her to tell her story, to give her a platform to tell her story. They call it the accuser of the brethren. I call it mercy. I call it mercy. Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God. Søren Kierkegaard has a book. The title of it is called the, uh, to be pure in heart is to will one thing. So purity has to do with, uh, not being diluted. Right? So a dilution is pure gold is it's just gold and it's not mixed with any other thing. So to be be pure in heart, this is to single-heartedly will after God. Um, I heard a sermon from John Piper. He drew from James and from the Psalms, right? James says, "Purify your hearts, you double-minded." And what does the Psalm say? Uh, who may ascend to the hill of the Lord? He who has clean hands and a pure heart. James says, "Wash your hands, you sinners. Cleanse your hearts, purify your hearts, pure heart, you double-minded." So the opposite of purity of heart is doubleness of mind where we say we want God, but really we want something else. And I'll have to be honest with you, I, I feel like too often I am double-minded. Too often I'm not pure in heart. But Jesus is saying, if you will set your hearts on one thing, um, that is the kingdom of God. That if you understand it in context, go go back down, uh, verse 6, 33 or chapter 6, verse 33. Seek first the kingdom of of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. So what are we to seek? What are we to pray for in the Lord's Prayer? It is his kingdom. What is his kingdom? It's his rule first here, then in my home, in my family, in my life, in my business, in my sphere of influence, in the world around me. Lord, let your rule come. What is what is the rule of God? The kingdom of God, righteousness, peace, joy in the Holy Spirit. Um, that's the kingdom of God. It is where we see the sick healed. It is where we see, um, demons driven out. That that is the kingdom of God as well. But the kingdom of God is also a righteous life that is lived in holiness before the Lord. Um, it is, it is order in your home. It's like, it is order in your finances. It's saying no to self and enough to like live within a budget and like have like live a life that is decent and in order, much less a a church service. And, um, like God's kingdom, it affects every area of your life, not just the the parts that are super spiritual. And those who are Christians that are seeking to serve the Lord, they're super spiritual and there's they're all about revival and their lives are a total wreck. Do not trust, do not trust that ministry because the kingdom of heaven will not just affect just one or two areas. Instead, like a mustard seed, it grows to become the largest plant in the garden, and by your fruits you will know them. Um, the a little, uh, leaven of mustard seed, a little of the kingdom, sorry. Um, you know, uh, the kingdom of heaven is like yeast, a little bit in the dough and the whole lump of dough is leavened. So just in the way that sexual immorality affects, uh, it it permeates and it becomes pervasive within a community, within a life. So the kingdom of God also works the same way. So when you're looking at a ministry, you're like, "Hey, is that person's life actually kind of in order? Are they like treating their wife well? Are their children well-behaved?" This is why these are these are requirements for elders within the church, right? Somebody who doesn't have their home that's that's put in order, like then that's evidence that there's disorder, which is evidence that there is more growth and maturity where the kingdom of God is having its its its effect in the life of the person in every area, because if they can't govern their own homes, how can they govern God's house? So, um, moving on, blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God. Here's the here's the question: Is Jesus a peacemaker? I, if you just read a few chapters down in Matthew chapter 10, he says, "I have not come to bring peace, but a sword." Right? I've not come to bring peace, but a sword. Is Jesus a peacemaker? What is peace? I think a a peacemaker is not somebody who appeases bad people so that they will go away and that every everything, sorry, I just hit this chord. Everything will be hunky-dory. And we just placate, we just appease, we just make sure that we give bad people what they want and so that everybody can. No, a peacemaker is someone who sees that righteousness is done. Only when the the righteous rule will there be peace. So sometimes in order to be a peacemaker, you can be a peacekeeper or you can be a peacemaker. Right? I think what I see Ron Caner doing, he's a peacemaker. He's a peacemaker. Um, he's giving a voice to victims so that there can be truth. How can you have peace without real truth? I don't know. Uh, blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness' sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. I am seeing Ron, uh, there are insults being hurled at him. There are, uh, blog posts being written about him. Uh, he was called a witch, uh, in one blog post, actually a free ebook people were giving away, calling Ron Caner, Julie Royce, and Mike Winger witches, or something else. I, I don't know exactly. I don't know, uh, how they determined that, but, um, yeah. Uh, verse 11, blessed are you when others revile you and persecute you and utter all kinds of evil against you falsely on my account. Rejoice and be glad, for your reward is great in heaven. For so they persecuted the prophets who were before you. So, um, all right, I've, uh, uh, that, yeah, people are asking, who is Ron? Ron Caner, uh, my friend. So that is that is, um, my thoughts, the Beatitudes, how they're applying to what's going on in the church right now. Um, man, Jesus, help us. Lord, just, just help us. Just help us, please. Um, all right. Uh, I'll go through, uh, some of the, uh, some of the chats. If anybody has a question, go ahead and, uh, drop it in. I'll try to write "question" so that I know that it's a question. Um, we'll, uh, I'll try to scroll through. So, I'm scrolling back. Yet, Amanda Grace and Julie Green get a free pass for daily prophecies. So, yeah. Yeah. I mean, I, I just, I don't know, man. I, Amanda Grace and Julie Green, people that I would not, I would not trust. Uh, if you, if, if there's a prophecy from them, I am not tuning in. Um, yeah, the, uh, uh, please see that all the abuse has its genesis in Vineyard Christian Fellowship. No accountability. I don't know. Help me out. Is that Vineyard, the, um, the fellowship, like the denomination, or is that Vineyard, the, uh, a particular Vineyard, Metro Vineyard? Um, so I don't know. Uh, I do know that there are several vectors here, right? One of the vectors is Bob Jones. Another vector, you know, there's, you know, you can't help but notice a lot of the the aberrant teachings and the abhorrent behaviors, um, that are being exposed right now. There's a vector at at Toronto. I'm not saying that to just outright condemn Toronto as being like, you know, whatever. I, I, I'm still working out my thoughts, um, about that. There was obvious weirdness and wackiness and craziness. Um, I know of people who have had really great experiences there, too, and I don't want to discount any of those as well. Um, I went to Toronto several times when I was a a teenager and I had a good experience, but I also looked and saw that there was weirdness there, too. And so, it was a very much a mixed bag at the time for me. It was very much a mixed bag then. And, you know, I was, how old was I? I was 13, I think, when I went the first time. And, you know, um, yeah, it was it was weird then. Um, but the, this is a, it's a vector. It's a vector. I'll say that. Uh, so, yeah. Uh, somebody just said, uh, my friend just told me Greg Locke's 20-year-old son died. He and my condolences, um, to to Greg. I can't imagine the pain that that would bring. I obviously have severe disagreements with with Greg Locke, I, you know, but that's not the time. Uh, right now is not the time to talk about my differences with him. I just offer him my condolences. It's horrible. Horrible. I have a son. I would, I would be an absolute wreck. I would be an absolute wreck. So, uh, yeah, pray, pray for him. Okay. Uh, question. Uh, what do we do when we've shared our stories and the false apostles and prophets continue to flourish despite the many victims coming out? And yes, I was part of the Toronto Blessing. That's true. Yeah. Uh, this is Pia. Uh, Pia, you've shared, I, I watched your your story, uh, with Ron. You know, one of the things that I've just noticed is like, you know, it is it is the horse is prepared for battle, but victory belongs to the Lord. I think victims should keep continue to speak, continue to pray, that continue to seek justice, but do so in trusting yourself to the Lord that it is ultimately the Lord who will bring justice and it's up to him. Um, that and that's the difference I think between what what what Christ says, uh, or what what the what the scriptures say. This is actually, uh, the Apostle Paul, I think this is Romans chapter 10, maybe, or is it 14? I don't remember. Um, uh, be angry, do not sin, do not, uh, take vengeance, you know, um, do not avenge yourselves, but leave room for God's wrath. For it says, "Vengeance is mine. I will repay, says the Lord." Speaking the truth, telling your story is not taking revenge. It is just telling the truth and and seeking accountability. Revenge is having a vindictive attitude to say, "I want you to be destroyed." you know, like, um, and ultimately somebody's ultimate accountability is in God's hands. The reason that we speak is so that one, the church can be warned, like, hey, this is there's danger here. Two, so that there there's healing that can happen in sharing your story and and that people can hear you, can empathize with your pain, can pray for you. You can have community where where people understand you and know you. And so there's there's healing in sharing your story. So there's those two reasons. One is accountability or or warning. And two is is healing. Um, and and third is like, yeah, I also, um, I do not think that these ministries should exist anymore. I think that that's a legitimate right. That's a legitimate desire. But that's not a promise. We don't have that promise necessarily. There's always going to be an appetite for false prophets. It's like it's job security for a podcast like this, right? Uh, but the reality is, it's like there's always going to be, um, an appetite for false prophets. There's always going to be wolves. Um, so what do we do? We have to entrust. We have to entrust that God will bring about justice. I, I, I do, I shudder to think. I don't want to say make any claims about like so-and-so died because it was the judgment of God. Like that feels really, um, I don't like that. But I'll say this, there are ministries that have happened. There's people who have died, um, and you can't help but wonder, is this the Lord? You can't help but wonder. So, I don't know. But vengeance is mine. I will repay, says the Lord. Um, okay. Yeah, somebody's saying, um, I will have the names of everyone they sent to harass me online. Uh, yeah, I don't know. Um, you're, I don't know your story, but I have seen that happen. I've seen that happen. Um, yeah. Uh, okay. Um, somebody said, um, Michael something, I don't think I can pronounce that name, of San Francisco Vineyard was called out for spiritual abuse. Anaheim responded predicting he'd run and not be accountable. Um, this guy bolted to Redding. Um, and so, yeah, I don't know anything about that situation. I don't know anything about that situation. Um, but sounds like, sounds if if that's true, it sounds sus. Um, yeah, man. It's, It's hard to keep up with the chat, um, on this software that I'm using or the that I got to I just got to use different different streaming software. So, um, so I'll, I'll say this. I'm, uh, I'm going to wrap it up. Uh, there's a big video coming. Uh, it's a big video that's coming. Uh, please pay attention. Um, I'm not going to monetize it. It has been a, uh, huge heavy lift over the last, um, you know, four or five months, something like that. I've been working on it, I think, since February. Um, yeah, it, uh, it is, it is a big deal. Um, I just want to thank people who support the podcast and, so the Patreon, if you want to support the podcast, there's there's a Patreon. Uh, really, I, I'm not good enough to my Patreon members. They just, uh, support me. I try to upload stuff on there. I need to be doing a lot more stuff on the Patreon, but I almost never plug it. Um, but I will, uh, in this stream if, if you want to support this podcast, the Pat, the Patreon is very, very helpful. Um, I'm not going to monetize the video that I'm about to drop. Um, uh, for reasons that might become clear when you see it. Um, but it will it will drop next week. I've worked on it with, uh, some with a special guest host, and, um, it's going to be, it's going to be important. It's going to be important. So, I appreciate everybody who tuned in, um, who commented, and, uh, who's been a supporter of, of this podcast. I really appreciate all of you guys. Um, thank you so much. Thank you so much. Um, and what does it have to do with, uh, I can't say. I can't say. Um, you'll find out. You'll find out. Um, yeah. Well, hey, God bless you guys. Um, appreciate all of you and, uh, I feel torn. I feel like maybe there's some more questions that I missed. Um, yeah. Yeah. Sorry. Sorry if I missed your chats. I, I can't, I can't scroll the chat and talk. Some people are really good at that. I'm terrible at it. Um, I'm just terrible at it. And I say um a lot and I repeat myself a lot. It. Editing my videos is is a nightmare because I am terrible with with some of these verbal habits and I'm gonna try to get better at them. But all right, hey, God bless you guys. Thank you so much for for watching this and I, I pray that the Lord blesses you. Stay tuned for the video that's going to drop next week. Um, hopefully, hopefully it will be very soon.
