Lil Wayne has sparked controversy for multiple reasons with the release of his I Think It's Carter 6. Okay, the hilarious part about this Little Wayne thing is how many people are all the sudden shocked that Lil Wayne has rapped about what he's always rapped about. Hello. Which is money, vagina, and power. Yeah, that's what he's always rapped about. He's always rapped about those three things. And now all of a sudden everyone's like, "Yo, he ain't saying nothing. There's no content." That's hilarious. He's 40 years old rapping about this stuff. He's 30 years old rapping about this stuff. 6 foot, 7 foot, 8. He's been rapping about this stuff forever. So it's it's hilarious to see Lil Wayne fans growing up and being like, "This is terrible. I could have told you this was terrible in 2008 when the Carter 3 came out." He was like like a lollipop. Like it was he was getting some bangers on that uh Madden playlist. Yeah, it was bad then. That 2008 Madden playlist. No, I'm I'm saying it was it was bad then. Like the content was bad then. I know. Then this is what the uh the soundtrack on the Madden sound like. They would have to block out all the all the swear words and I don't know anything he was saying because I was like four. I'm just kidding. I wasn't four but I was you know I was like young playing Madden.
So apparently he had a reference to 666 stuff. So it says uh Lil Wayne sparks controversy with 666 reference on new album Hip Hop featuring uh Big uh X The Plug. Lil Wayne's newly released album The Carter is making headlines after fans noticed the direct mention of 666 in the lyrics of his song Hip Hop, which features Big X The Plug and Jay Jones. The track, one part of a highly anticipated 19 project, has quickly became a talking point on social media with listeners debating the symbolism behind the reference. The album, released June 6th, 2025, marks Wayne's return to the spotlight and features a lineup, but his provocative lyric has many fans criticizing, buzzing about the rapper's creative choices. Are they not Are they not catching? Are they not catching it? What? It's not just a lyric. Okay. Carter 6 was released on the sixth month on the sixth day. The whole thing is six. It's not just a lyric. The whole the whole roll out is around 666 and it's not that deep. What do you think someone that just raps about money, power, and vagina Yeah. worships and represents? He He's put his cards on the table. The fact that hip hop is just now waking up and being like, "Wait a minute. This might be a little satanic." Like, where have you guys been for the past 15 years? Freaking six months from now, we're going to have a Travis Scott fan shocked by latest by latest demonic lyric. Wow, man. Travis got kids, man. He's a dad. He I can't believe he's talking about It's like, "Yeah, man. He's been jumping out of skulls on fire for like a decade."
The The thing is, no one should be shocked about this. Like, no one should be shocked about this. And this doesn't diminish his ability to rap. Like, I I I I listened to the first couple songs. Like, I was like, "Let's see if he's evolved. He's in his 40s now. Let's see if he's evolved. Let's check it out." First song, second song, third song, third. I'm like, "It's the same thing. It's it's it's it's vagina, power, and money. It's the same thing." Yeah, that's awesome. He's been He's literally committed to the bit. Committed to the bit to the point where he has his three buckets that he raps about and it's usually going to hit all three on the D on the same song. Uh, so there's some Christian creators reacting to this. Go ahead. Shout out to Isaiah Robin. Demon Time. Tick tick tick. Once again, Carter 666. He put it out on June 6. Demon time. Is that what he actually meant? Barrel to your temple like a pimple. It goes zit zit zit. That's fromine. I don't even smoke gasoline. You no Vaseline. I like my tangerine. It turns so dope. I have trends. I got that Coke. No caffeine. I emptied a whole magazine. Everybody woke. I sell dreams. Got out the mud. The can clean. I can't trust the love. I ain't green. Um yeah, that's a whole lot of nothing. This has been Little Wayne. I bet it sounds really good in his tone though. It No, no, no. Listen, get that coat. No caffeine. That's a bad impression. I apologize. That was a real bad impression. the actual like he sounds good saying these words over the beats he's picked. No one's denying that. But to pretend that like we're shocked. You know what I mean? And this is some of the responses. Lil Wayne, you effing I noticed the Carter 6 release dancing 666. Lil Wayne screaming 666 so much on this album. Lil Wayne is weird for repeatedly rapping about He's weird for repeatedly rapping about 666. But telling you that all he cares about in life is money, power, and women. Uhhuh. That's not weird. Come on. That didn't That didn't give us any. This is This is what I'm saying. This is what he's saying. Tick tick tick barrel to your temple like a pimple. There you go. Still still not that good, actually. Oh my gosh. Okay. So, I don't know what's worse. I don't know what's worse. That wasn't that great. The fact that people are shocked and they're and they're this this is okay cuz I don't want to insult people cuz cuz this this what the scripture say. They got a veil over their eyes. Yeah. It's divides. I really thought we could do all this debaucherous stuff and not be doing it uh in the name of Satan. It's like that's where you got tricked, fam. You got tricked thinking that you were being debaucherous and there was no God. And there was no God. That's the whole bit. And and or there was a God and he didn't really care. That's that's lust of the eyes of the flesh, pride of life. This has been the rally call for a lot of this. It's not just Wayne, it's Future, it's Thug, it's it's all this sort of stuff, right? And and and no, I don't think all hip-hop is like that. I think there's a massive a massive chasm between a JCole and a little Wayne. I think there's a big difference, but that doesn't mean that we should be allowing this sort of stuff.
What about a Wayne and a Drake? I think Drake, you know, I was at uh I was in Vegas while my son, we were at a resort uh pool and I remember hearing um a song me and John Keith I think reacted to or something. It was the um I take a pill, she took the No, I took a half, she took the whole thing, slow down, baby. And I'm like, he's promoting hard on a pop song. Yeah, that's pretty crazy. I I took a half, she took the whole thing. Slow down. He's talking about hard, bro. Mhm. So, yeah, like Drake's been on the same thing. It's just it sounds more introspective and deep. Cuz he's singing it slow. Cuz he's singing it. And it's like, dog, he's promoting the fact that he's doing illicit hard pills. Pill popping. Mind you, the fentanyl. Well, at least he's telling her to slow down. At least he's being respon be a responsible pill popper. Come on. This is this has been the thing. And so yeah, like like I don't mean to be like everything is demonic, but like this is kind of demonic. It's kind of demonic, dog. Kind of demonic.
