What Is Truth? The Question That Still Haunts the World.

All right, so today we're we're talking about truth, and what is truth? But before we start, watch this video. This is a red balloon. It's true, it's red. We all know our colors. The absolute truth is that this balloon is red. No, it's not; that's green. What this right here is a green balloon. That is the prettiest yellow balloon. Yellow. This is red. Yeah, come over here. No, it's green. It's red. Yeah, I know it's a red balloon. Hey, will you look at it from my point of view, please? What? Hey, nice blue balloon. It's green. Green. It's red. Why are you saying it's red when it's blue, huh? It's totally purple from here. Purple. Okay, you know what? Let's just settle this once and for all. Okay, where are you going? Hey, what color is this balloon? I only see in black and white. Okay. Hey, Mark, what color? There is no balloon. This is ridiculous.

Hey, I know what the problem is. Look, um, my mom taught me that this was blue, but um, you know, then she said this is red and green, yellow, you know, and on and on. Okay, I get that your mom taught you that that was blue, but I mean, that's not the truth. Whoa, why are you talking bad about his mom? Yeah, I'm not. Listen, I respect your mother. Thank you, and the way she raised you. She taught you that it was blue. Our moms taught us that it was red; that's the way it goes. I thought you said it was green. It is green. See, I'm smart. I went to college, and in college, I learned all these different theories about color, and my color professors who have doctorates in color—do you have a doctorate in color?—uh, no, it shows. Okay, they can't even agree on one theory of color, so you have to look at all the different theories and pick which one works best for you, and green is great for me. That makes sense. Thank you. No, you can't just pick whatever color fits your life the best. Red is red. Okay, do you know the word intolerant? Yeah, because that's what you're being right now. All right, you're shoving your opinion down my throat. Okay, it's not my opinion; it's the truth. Hold on, hold on. All we're saying is that we need to stop arguing about trivial things like [Music] truth.

You know the funny thing about truth is it's true whether you believe it or [Music] not. What is truth? What is truth? In John 18:36, 38—I mean, 37 through 38—this is like the trial of Jesus. Um, this night, Jesus had a six trials, if I'm not mistaken, like he went back and forth between uh, things and back and forth with Pontius Pilate and things like that, but at the end, John chapter 18, verse 37, it says, um, Pilate says, "Are you a king?" So you are a king, and Jesus answered, "You say that I'm a king. For this purpose I was born and for this purpose I have come into the world, to bear witness to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth listens to my voice," and Pilate said to him, "What is truth?" After saying this, he went back outside to the Jews and told them, "I find find no guilt in him." This question plagues Pilate's question is a question that everyone is asking right now; it's the hot new thing. What is truth? What is truth? Now, Pilate—now I'm I'mma come back to it—but Pilate did something that everyone does when exposed to truth. There's only two choices, the only two choices you have, and I'm going talk about it later on. The Hebrew word for truth is *emet*. The funny thing about the Hebrew word for truth is that in the Hebrew alphabet, the word for truth is the first letter of the alphabet, the middle letter of the alphabet, and the last letter of the Hebrew alphabet. So in in essence, when Hebrews wrote truth, they was talking about the whole thing, like it was all the whole thing. It it was another definition is really what really is going on. Uh, truth, faithfulness is used to describe God's God's trustworthiness and dependable in the Bible or anything. So you took the first letter of the alphabet, uh, the Greek—the Hebrew alphabet, the middle letter and the last letter, and you got the word truth. And an interesting thing about it, if you just take away the first letter in that word, you get the word for death. That was interesting to me. Get the word *met*, which is death. So taking God out the equation or the first letter or the alpha out of the equation, you get death.

Now, from a philosopher's uh, perspective, there are three simple ways to define truth—not so simple, but simple ways—truth is that which is uh, um, comprised or corresponds with reality. So truth corresponds with reality. Truth is that which matches its object, and truth is simply telling it like it is. So kind of like what the Hebrew word say, truth is what really is going on, the whole thing, the whole picture. God is the source of truth. God is the source of truth. So anytime anytime truth is proclaimed, it is truth because it borrows from or it comes from the way God designed it. This is chair because God designed chair. This is is air because this is how God designed it. Truth is aligning yourself with the way God designed things. Okay, Romans—we gonna spend a a little bit time in Romans chapter 1, verse 21 and 25. We we talked about this a little bit last week, and we're go—I think we're gonna be back and forth into this one actually, I know not I think—for although they knew God, they did not honor him as God, for um, or gave thanks to him, but they became futile in their thinking and their foolish hearts were darkened, claiming to be wise they became fools, exchanging the glory of the immortal God for images resembling mortal man, birds, animals, and creepy things. Therefore, God gave them up in their lust for their hearts—um, of their hearts to impurity, then honoring their bodies amongst themselves, because they exchanged the truth of God for a lie and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen. The Great Exchange. There's a great exchange. We have to we have to think about the world is trying to get us to exchange the truth of God, the things that are good and beautiful and perfect in God, the way God designed things, for lives for things that damage your soul, for things said damage your soul. This is the world we live in, the world that refuses to call the call of truth, refuses the call of truth to listen to Satan, a society that wants chaos over Christ. They want fair truth instead of the truth. They say there is no truth, but they forget—like I I was blown away, and my wife can attest to this—yesterday I was still looking up things, and you know, and I was listening to some some secular philosophers, you know, those guys that talk in circles, right? And they all this time I I was looking listening to them, and there was like, yeah, truth is like you really can't know truth, you you know truth by if it's true or not, and and then you know truth by the uh, by the perspective of the person, so you really can't know this is a chair, but if you sit in it, it's a chair. I was like, huh, how can you say you can't know truth and believe that statement is true? That's that that's defeating itself itself. You can't say there is no truth, and then someone can ask, hey, is that statement true? You got you have to say no. You have to say no, that that statement not true, but is that statement true? That is not true. You know what I mean? There is no ultimate truth; there is it's it's it's relativism that people are trying to live and try to push, and it pushes chaos. It pushes chaos.

God's trust is or truth is the nature of God; it's part of his nature. God himself is truth. Everything that he does is trustworthy. Everything that he does is trustworthy. If you go back into the Genesis account, and then I talk to my kids about this, if you go back into the Genesis account, you'll see that God made trees and to have seeds create the tree of its own kind. So since God is trustworthy, you will never be able to plant an apple seed and get a giraffe, ever. Exactly, never, because God is trustworthy. A dog will create another dog, will create another dog. A dog will never create a hippopotamus, ever, because God is trustworthy, because what he says is true. God said, "Let there be light," and and then he's the only being that can say, "Let there be light," and like it happened. Let there let let let us create man in our own image, from this likeness, and like it happened. Only being that can do that, and you can see it in the world that no matter how much you try, no matter how much they fiddle around with our fruits and all that stuff and uh, uh, you cannot make a—let me see—uh, oh, a watermelon seed, you can't make that make a peach, no matter how much they fit, they can fit around and splice stuff, and it still won't create a peach, because God said, "I created fruit to make of its own kind, trees to make seeds of his own kind." Humans can only be got humans, animals can only be got that type of animal, because God is trustworthy. He says Jeremiah 10 and 10—you can write this down, you have to turn to it right now—"The Lord is the true God; he is the Living God and the Everlasting King. The Lord is the true God." The Lord, truth is in his essence, is who he is. He cannot lie. It says in Numbers 23:19, "God is not a man that he should lie, nor the son of man that he should repent." God is not a man; he is incapable of lying; is not in him to lie; he is the his essence is truth. Second point, truth is Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is the ultimate embodiment of truth. When when the disciples were talking, and he was talking to the disciples about, you know, how to make it to God, he says something to them in John chapter 14. He says, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." I am the way, the truth, and the life. He wasn't saying that I speak the way, I teach the way, I speak the truth, I give you life. No, he says, "I am that thing. I am what you think truth is. I am that what truth is, the ultimate truth. I am that what the way is, the way to walk, the way to righteous, the righteous way of living. I am that what you think is life, the very enjoyment of eating food and gathering people and festivals and feast and and death and mourning, all that. I am that. I am that. No one comes to the Father except through me." That's why it's a narrow path in a wide road. That's why Jesus says in in gen in uh, in John 3:16, "For God so loved the world, he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him shall not perish but have everlasting life," but verse 17, he says, "But if you don't believe, you're condemned already, because you chose not to believe in the Son." It's not because God dislikes you and hates you that you're not part of his kingdom; is because you chose not to go the way, the truth, and the light. You chose not to go through that door, and if you choose not to go through that door, well, you have to go the other way, and the Bible says that way leads to death and destruction. No wonder everything's falling apart; you're not aligning yourself with the righteous one; you're not aligning yourself with truth; you're not aligning yourself with the way of life, so you're walking towards death and thinking it's a parade. You're being blinded by the enemy, walking toward your own demise. But Jesus said, "I am the way, I am the truth. Come unto me. I care for you. I care about all your issues and all your problems. I can handle it; just come to me." And then back to John 18, "For this purpose I was born, for this purpose I came into the world, to bear witness to the truth," to bear witness to the truth. Thinking your head, what is truth? Truth is revealed in God's word. The scripture is the uh, the scripture describes truth; the scripture is truth. It provides guidance; it provides wisdom for life, sanctify by sanctify them by your word; your word is truth, John 17 and 17. Your word is truth. "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God," John one, John chapter one. So God's active word that he used to speak stuff into existence became flesh and dwelt among us, John said. So Jesus, "If thy word is truth," Jesus is the word, man. He what he's saying is, "I am am the truth. If you want to know me, get in this word. If you want to know me, line yourself up with this word. It can't be any other way. It can't be any other way. If you want to know me," truth leads to freedom. Truth leads to freedom. Knowing and loving and living by the truth liberates us from deception and sin. Knowing and being liberated by the truth. No, knowing and loving and living the truth liberates us from deception and sin. Liberates us from deception and sin. "You shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." You shall know the truth, and what does the truth do? Make you free. And it was an interesting thing in Scripture because John the Baptist was in prison, you remember that? John the Baptist was in prison, and he was talking to the he sent his disciples to Jesus and asked him, "Are you the one? Are you the one?" And Jesus was like, "Well, are blind eyes being opened? Are deaf ears being opened? Um, are we setting the captives free? Because that's why I came. I came to set the captives free." Freedom is in Christ. Christ is the truth. Freedom is in the truth of God's word. You want to be free from bondage, depression, uh, anxiety, all that? Where you have to dive and give yourself over to the truth of God's word and to the truth of who Jesus is, and you cannot do that if you're walking the the wide road. You have to walk through the door. "I am the way, the truth, and the life." If you really want this peace, if you really want this this uh, this the the joy that comes, you really want this power that's in you, have to go through that door. You cannot do it with with any other being, because they don't exist. And sometimes you might be talking to demons like this is the this how real Jesus Christ is. This is how real the truth is. He is the way. Truth must be lived out. Truth must be lived out.

I've been looking out into the world, and I'm starting to realize that this whole social media—Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat, TikTok—uh, all this stuff has been trying to make a world, and now there's some Christians infiltrating and causing disruption, but they've been trying to make a world with no ru rules, without standards, without God, without anything. They just want to make the wild wild west of morality, and they called this the truth. Now, in the world, you can have your truth. If you put on a dress, all of a sudden you was a lady. No, now your chromosome says you're not, but no, it's my truth. I live my truth. Hey, I live my truth. Can I get it? Why your voice so deep? Like this is this is stuff we deal with. You have yeah, have people dealing with each other. We you have to live it out, and this this is what's been going on in my heart and in my mind. The world is pushing you people towards destruction, so they distort the way male and female, men and women are supposed to act, and you do things that's destructive. So you have fornication plantations, where you have this OnlyFans stuff and all that stuff, when people are clicking and and all just jacking up their minds, and they think that's how you build relationships. You have Instagram models. This is how you build relationships. You have all you have you have people that are liking pictures and getting comments and things like that, thinking that this is how you get acceptance, this is how you get the love, by this is how, and it's all a lie. It's all like I said last week, sand castles, is going to wash away. It's not stable; it's not truth. But we live in a world that pushes these things as if these are the way of life. This is the way you're supposed to live. This is my truth, and how dare you say anything different than my truth? Well, can you have your own truth? Is that a thing? You can grasp if if you have your own truth and I have my own truth, then truth isn't really exist, not does it. But that's what they're trying to push. They're trying to push it. If they take—H women that—well, no, no, it's really it's really not a a a a baby; it's a clump of cells. And well, everybody's a clump of cells. No, no, it's really not a a baby; it's a it's a fetus. Well, Latin *fetus* means little one, little children, so it's really not a um, really not anything; it's it's it's just a parasite. Well, it's a parasite; it's a it's things like that. If you can get them to believe a lie about what's really going on, you will have them killing babies by the millions, by the—and it kills me that—and now I got to get into it, because in my heart it kills me that Margaret Sanger said that she wants to kill the undesirables. She that's her goal, to kill the undesirables. But the undesirables she was talking about was black people, and because of that, she created Planned Parenthood, a eugenics project to get rid of the undesirables that she said there's nothing more sinful than having a kid coming into the world with with poor and diseased and something like that. There's not more sinful than that. So it blows my mind when the people who abort their babies the most fall for the same trick; they're the people that she wanted to kill in the first place, by per—black Americans abort their babies way more, way more. No wonder we're a minority, because our kids don't survive the womb per capita. This is the truth. So the TR—the want you—we have to live out this truth. "Little children, let not let us not love in word or talk, but indeed and in truth." Let us not love just in word and just in talk. There's a whole lot of people that can talk and talk and talk and talk stuff around corners and talk and talk you into things and talk, but they don't their lifestyle don't match what they talk about. Their lifestyle don't match what they talk about, but deed and in truth. "Whosoever walks in integrity walks securely, but he who makes his way crooked will be found out." That's a proverb, Proverbs chapter 10, verse 9. Whosoever walks in integrity, that means your walk and your talk match, that means your yes is yes and your no is no. Men, this is important for our life, to walk in integrity. Can someone depend on your word? Can someone depend on your word? What you say you go do, can they depend on that? Because they're they're looking for it. There's so many people breaking their vows; there's so many people breaking their covenant; there's so many people breaking their commitments. There's so many people—can we as Christians, men and women, be have in integrity? Let our talk match our walk, not just in not just in words but in deeds and in truth. Can we walk in integrity? Can we hold fast to the vows that we promised that we said it? Can we—God, I I'm not gonna do it again, but can we not do it again? Can we fight to not do it again? If you get me out of this, Lord, I promise d d du—well, you got to fulfill, if he get you out of it. Can you fulfill that side? Now, the Bible says that he is faithful even if we're faithless, so he's still hold his say, end of the bargain. This is how God rolls, but can you walk in integrity? Can you walk in truth? This is important for men and women. There's people depending on you to be a husband, depending on you to be a wife, depending on you to be a child, depending on you to be whoever you need to be. There's workers; there's bosses depending on you to make it to work on time. Ouch! If you can't say ouch, you better say amen. There people that's depending on you to walk in integrity, to walk in truth. But we have a world that wants chaos. They want you to do what you want, and it's it's it's ridiculous. It's ridiculous. We have to, as Christians, if we're on the side of the Kingdom, we're on God's side, right? We we're walking and fighting against the kingdom of darkness, right? If we're doing that, we cannot live by lies. We can't live by lies. Our our our our eyesight, our worldview cannot be with dirty glasses and lenses of lies. We have to live by the truth of what God has God has designed for male and female, for marriage, for one man and one woman be together forever. We have to live that by that design, right? We have to live by that design, that that's the only way life flourishes; the other way is death. We have to live not by lies. We can't live in a world where you're able to live in life previous, looking at the hub and looking at—I'm editing because children in here—looking at these things, and you think you gonna have a healthy relationship with your wife or a healthy relationship with whoever you're trying to court to be your wife. Can live by lies? Men, you are important. You are important. Your strength, your voice, what you bring to the table, the society knows you're important. Look at the statistics of fatherless homes. Look at how how much what will happen to your child if you're not in the home. Self-deleting up, skyrocket teen pregnancy skyrockets, uh, obesity skyrockets, uh, poverty skyrockets, uh, uh, oh, not achievement in school skyrockets, being having being a successful human being. You need the love of your father. You need the love of your father. You're not disposable; you're not just a bank account; you're not just an ATM. You are an important, intrical part in the development and the flourishing of our human of being human, of our world. We're not just throwaways; we're not just donors. Women, you are important. You more you are more than a body for somebody to hook up with. You're more than the likes and the things you see on Instagram. You're more than that. You have the a privilege of bringing—you are the type of person that people come out of. You feel me? Like what? How how how how does that work? How that you're a type of person that people come on now. That's why you need to be protected. That's why we say—I'm G—say it in Women's uh, appreciation month, whatever it is. That's why we say you're not the same as guys; you're not the same as us. Why would you want to be? You are the definition. When when Adam saw Eve, he made a whole song about it, like, "You beautiful, you sweet, oh baby," like he was blown away that this—I get to—and is she mine [Music] forever? The beauty, the the things that the women bring to the table, the nurturing, the the the the community they can they bring together, all that stuff is helpful for flourishing of our world, world. You are not a throwaway, mama. You are not just a glorified babysitter. You're not just another worker be in a cog of worker bees and you can be thrown away. You are not useless; you are not ugly; you are not flawed; you are not—you don't need Maybelline. You can put it on if you want to, but you don't need it. You don't need these shoes; you can wear them if you want to, we cool with it, but you don't need it. We like you when you come out the shower and you don't got no makeup on. We like you when you got eye boogers. We like all that. You don't need none of that. You are a part of the human flourishing, no matter what the world tries to tell you. Men and women are intrical in our life. Mom and dads are intrical in building up godly offspring. Godly offspring. God don't care how many kids you got if the all and and how many arrows you got in your uh, in your quiver, if every last one of arrows you pull out is broken, like you're not even a threat to the kingdom of darkness. He's like, "You having kids, but they gonna work for me? You having kids because you ain't leading them nowhere?" Talking to the man, you ain't pushing them nowhere; you ain't teaching them nothing; you're not building them up in an admonishment of the Lord. And if you don't know how to do it, talk to somebody. Talk to somebody. I guarantee there's men who want to help you; they want to help you grow; they want to help you grow and be a mighty man of valor; they want to help you grow and be a mighty woman of faith; they want to help you. We have to not live by lies in this world. We are drowning in lies. Lies about our identity, who we really are, who we really are, who we really are. Lies about our identity, and we get hit on every side. If you go on Instagram and you think you doing well, you got a little couple m in your pocket and stuff like that, you go on Instagram, you see somebody a Lambo, you see somebody and it seem like all they do is sit around and collect money. Like how in the world do you sit around and collect money? Well, if you buy this course, I can teach you how to sit around and collect money. But you to realize that the course you buy is a reason why they're able to sit around and make money. Like it's it's so silly about who we are, who we are—are made in the image of God. Who we are—are fearfully and wonderfully made. Who we are—are, if we're on this side—now, if we're in the Kingdom, we're children of the almighty King, against the kingdom of darkness. Men and women, we are warriors. We fight in different ways, but we are warriors. We are warriors in Christ. We are warriors, and because we are warriors and we're fighting against the kingdom of darkness, if you're a child of God, Satan don't want that. So he puts doubts, he puts fears, he puts—you got a pain in your leg you never thought you had before, now you're worried about that. It starts the the—okay, well, make the worry and anxiety, now it starts all that because he don't want you not on his side. You've been doing good work for him before you became a Christian, before you became saved, you was doing great work for him, destroying all the world with him, marching down the road of destruction with him. Who we are—are children of the almighty King, and he put armor on us and tells us to go disciple all nations, go fight against the kingdom of darkness. Do it. Do it in your feminine beauty, women. Do it in your masculine strength, men. Men, do it while loving your wife. Women, do it while respecting your husband. Children, do it while obeying your parents. Work hard with your hands, cook food, get whipping in the kitchen, all that stuff. We do have gatherings and feast and love and mourn when things go bad, cry and all those things that all gives God glory, and that all goes against the kingdom of darkness when we're doing it, and everything that we do, we're doing it to glorify God. They lie about morality. They lie about morality, what is good, and that's the first thing Satan car said to Eve. Well, he don't want you eating the fruit because you know you'll be like him, knowing what's good and evil. You'll be like God, being able to decide for yourself what's right and wrong. That's a lie. What's right and wrong comes stems from the truth, that means he got to stem from the word, that means he got to have right alignment with how things are created. That's that's what morality is, but they want you to choose for yourself, and why every time we get a chance to choose for ourselves, we choose something dumb and destructive. Oh, you want to choose for yourself what you want to drink? We got this pure water or we got this poison. You know what? This poison looks good; it's strawberry flavored. Why do we do that? We have to not live by lies. Yes, this is a truth that we have to fight against the lie. Mother and father, children, nuclear family is important to the society. You want to change this world? You start in your household. You want to change this world? You start—you wna—you want to start with—you want to change something? Start with yourself first, then your household got to get in order, then go out into the world and do what you need to do, but you got to get you and your household in order first. That's the truth. Lies about God. Lies that you can work—there's all many roads to God. It's not uh, Kroger. I don't care; you can't go this way and that way and this way and that way to the Lord. There's only one way, and it's Christ. There's only—Allah don't exist; he's not real; that's just the Arabic word for God. No, no, Allah comes from a Muslim gu—not a Muslim—comes from an old uh, Babylonian gu, the moon God. That's why the crest is like that or some other old religion. It's part of one in a thousand gods, but it's a moon guy. Allah, Buddha—we can get it from Buddha? No, no, no. Buddha was just a dude, and he wasn't like—he was just a dude. We can get it from Hare Krishna and and no, that dude is blue when he has like 5,000 arms; that's creepy. So no, no, God, God, God can't—God is—no, it's a white man's God. No, no, because Jesus was a Middle Eastern Jew, that means he was he was probably middle brown, and his hair was probably not straight. Yeah, I know, I know all the people show him with blonde hair, and he never his hands never look crusty, and he was a Middle Eastern Jew, carpenter in the Middle East without hard without power tools, strong hands. He was able to talk to Pharisees like, "Hey, yeah, you a fox, you a snake," and look him dead in the eye like—and they did nothing, but we got to do something about this guy. Come on, man. This is the God that we serve, and this God, the truth about this God, he—the God that created the universe came down to Earth to save us, to save us, to cleanse us from all our sin, to be the sacrificial lamb so we can walk in righteousness. That's the truth. It's it wasn't used to to enslave the blacks; it wasn't used to—God didn't didn't sanction the uh, the the the Crusades, and God didn't—like, come on now. The truth is we have a loving and holy God that desires a relationship, but it got to be a relationship on his terms. You can't do what you want to do with him, but he desires you to be free. I was talking to my brother yesterday, and we was just vibing, like we call it verbal jazz, me and my friend calls it, but we was just bum bum bum, and one thing he was like, "You know what I was thinking about the Ten Commandments?" And the ten commandments, they all about keeping me out of trouble. I was like, yeah, every Ten Commandment is about not hurting you, not hurting your soul. The first five is about how you supposed to treat God, but if you don't treat God right, you're hurting yourself. The second one is how you supposed to treat your neighbor. Second uh, uh, set is for how you supposed to treat your neighbor and and yourself or love your neighbor. Well, if you love your neighbor, if you don't steal, they won't steal from you. If you don't kill them, they won't try to kill you. If you don't covet, they won't covet. Like it's all for your soul; you're flourishing. Thou shalt not—yeah, because it hurts you. If I tell you not to put a stapler through your arm, it's not because I hate you and I and I want staples to your—it's because it will hurt you. And that's the commands of God; that's what God—come on now. As a believer, we cannot play the lie game. We cannot live by lies. We can't we can't we can't let uh, the job make us do something crooked, to cook the books. We can't do the skim off the top of the petty cash so we can have a little money for a honey bun. We can't do none of that. We can't allow our children to—W out or to act the F—because we know God wants godly offspring. So the best thing I can do for my son or for my daughter is to teach them the right way to walk. But a lie said you got to you gotta you got to let them be free. You got to let them be free and and and say no to you and and and and just have much tablet time as possible and stuff like that, like that's you gotta let them be free. Well, that's a lie. We are meant—we are called to guide and cultivate the garden that God has given us. We cannot go along with deception just to fit in, just to seem cool, just to seem like the cool dad, just to seem like the cool Mom, just to seem like the cool Christian. We're one of the good Christians; we don't stand against LGBT. We one of the good Christians. No, no, no. If if that makes me a bad Christian, I'm a bad Christian, because it's wrong. We don't stand—we won't—we won't say anything about abortion. Yes, yes, I will. I definitely will. When we're confronted with the truth, we're confronted with our sin. Lean into the truth. Listen to the voice of the truth and change, or walk away, like Pilate did. Pilate walked himself off the pages of the Bible; you never hear about him again.

What are we going to do now that we know the truth? Learn from it, repent, change, grow, come into the fold. Love God with all your heart, mind, soul, and strength. Love your neighbor as yourself, or walk away. That choice is up to you.

Let's pray. Dear God, I thank you for today and everything, Lord God. I pray that you work on our hearts, that we do not live by lies. Oh God, expose the lies in our hearts, the things that we are believing that is not true. Expose it, oh God. Help us deal with it.
