“This is our LAST chance to get answers about 9/11” Roger Waters on the Twin Tower demolition

Transcription

Well, we are running out of time. We are running out of time to get real answers about the controlled demolition that brought down the towers on 9/11. And one way that you actually get answers, you're not going to get it from these phony politicians. You're going to get it though from court cases through discovery in front of the Supreme Court. There is one case in the entire world that is now in front of the British Supreme Court and we've been covering it for years on the show and we could finally get answers as to who placed those charges and brought down the Twin Towers on 9/11 because all of you know it had nothing to do with airplanes. You're smart enough to know that at this point. And that case is the Campbell family case which we've covered here on the show. Jeff Campbell is 31 years old. He was a British citizen and he happened to be attending a conference on the 106th floor when those controlled demolition blasts went off after those aircraft hit the towers. They brought his remains back to the UK and British citizens have a right to demand an inquest as to what exactly caused the death of a family member. Well, this has now gone through the court system. The powers that be certainly don't want the answers told. But it has now reached the Supreme Court and we are at a tipping point moment. The family needs to raise about £125,000 in order to see this thing through. Um, but this may be the most important moment um in our history of trying to get answers around 9/11. And recently, one of my personal heroes threw his hat into the ring and brought enormous awareness to this case, trying to help raise money through the GoFundMe and bring uh crowdfunding to bring awareness to this case. And when I learned that Roger Waters was now trying to bring attention to this case, I I was floored by it. And I said, "We've got to get Roger on the show." And Roger is kind enough to spend some time with us here at Redacted on the show. Roger, welcome to the show.

Great to have you here, >> Gladen. Thank you so much. I appreciate it. >> It's a real pleasure. >> Yeah. Well, you're so right. It's that it's so important. I'm fascinated that you open your remarks uh as an educated man by saying we all know that the twin towers and building 7 were not brought down by Muhammad Ata and airplanes flying into them and and but the extraordinary thing is that the majority of people all over the world were going what was he talking about? Yes, they were. I read it in the papers. It's obviously it was Osama bin Laden. He figured it all out on a piece of exercise paper in the mountains in Afghanistan somewhere and then he bought an airplane or two and then he Oh, no, he didn't. He hijacked them. That's right. That's what he did. And you know, and I mean we lived through it. I was actually in London that morning. I was recording in island studios and suddenly there it was on the S. So, we all remember and we all remember in the days and then weeks and then months afterwards, maybe a month, we all knew that the official story was a bunch of [ __ ] and that no, they didn't fall down because there were fires caused by uh aircraft fuel. They were controlled demolitions. So, here we are 20 years later. I know, you know, all 25 years later and we have this one last glimmer of a chance to investigate what happened. And so, um, and my friend Ted Walter, who who's been heading a lot of this stuff along, is it Piers Robinson? Anyway, there's a bunch of them, truth for 911. Um, I think he called me and he said, "Do you know what's going on?" And Matt Campbell's uh predicament. So, I didn't just throw my hat into the ring. I threw my wallet into the ring to be honest with you. And I'm hoping that the public will match what was in my wallet that day because it's a it's very expensive to go to court.

>> And that the and the court case will happen. Um, and I believe that Sorry, go on. >> No, I was going to say we'll put a link. I just want to make sure that we we have a we'll have a link in the description of today's video that people can donate and support. So, if you're driving right now, you're listening to this while you're mowing the lawn or whatever it is, just don't worry. We'll have the info there that if you want to contribute, whatever it is, whatever you can do to help to try to get answers on this. What moved, you know, what moved Jeff's uh story? What moved you about this story so much that you wanted to be involved personally in this?

>> Well, because I believe that uh we're in an existential battle. All of us, you, me, everybody who cares about any who cares about love or truth for the soul of the human race. It's as broad as that. And it comes down or it could partially come down to this case in England. Whether or not whatever he's called in England that I think he may even be the attorney general. I don't know. Is he above the law? Um because that's what he says he is. And Matt Campbell is saying no. This is way too important for somebody to be above the law. Um so so if if this actually happens and it proceeds through the Supreme Court in England and we get the investigation, it will change not just the history of the human race but the future of the human race because we can't allow the cabal, the ruling class, the people who are destroying our planet willy-nilly to continue to destroy our planet in order to fill their wallets, which is the world we live in. We live in a world of perpetual war because it suits the very very very obscenely rich. The Elon Musks and Bezos's and Trumps and all the rest of them, Bill Gates, the whole cabal. So this is this is the people having their last possible opportunity to look at the very difficult question which is this. Did the government of the United States or someone else who we don't know about cause the death of Jeff Campbell and the other 3,000 United citizens who were killed when the Twin Towers um in in downtown New York were demolished by some by personal person. So who are the person who did it? Was it the US government? Was it the Israelis? Was it the Saudis? Who did it? We know it wasn't done by the airplane. I'll I'll stop talking cuz I know you know all this.

>> But no, but a lot of our audience may be tuning in for the first time and this might be a surprise to them who've, you know, and and I don't I don't fault a lot of these people for have, you know, living their full life, taking care of their children. and they get a few minutes of news per day and they flip on the BBC or CNN and they're fed this like stream of propaganda and they believe it that there were these hijackers who conveniently didn't know how to fly airplanes at all. Uh who used box cutters and whose passports were found totally intact in the rubble of the I mean it's just absurd. You'd have to be you'd have to be mentally incompetent to believe it at this point. Um but the attorney general you brought up the the AG in the UK. I mean really does believe like what would it be his motivation to not allow this case to go forward because that's at the heart of this case. He's saying we're not going to reopen the inquest. We're not going to reopen this file to look at what really killed Jeff Campbell and these other I think seven or eight British citizens who were there that day. Like we're not going to reopen it. It's going to the Supreme Court and trying to force their hand to reopen it. What do you think is the motivation of this attorney general? It's the same motivation as the motivation of for instance judge Jeffrey uh Lawrence is that his name who's going to be sentencing the Filbert 6 tomorrow in London much against the uh much against the better judgment of thousands and thousands of lawyers have said you can't be doing that you're the guy who changed all the rules to get them convicted in the first place and wouldn't allow them in their defense to mention Israel or Elbert systems or the genocide or any of the things that are relevant. So, so to go put that one side, the attorney general, I don't know who he she is, but she has sat on a club fender in Whites Club where they all get together and decide what they're going to do. So, do you know I've asked this question before? Hang on a minute. How do they appoint appeal court judges in the high court in London? And when you ask a QC or a KC as they are now barristers that question there's silence because it's something we don't talk about because you how do they they sit on a club fender in whites club and go he'll do she'll do why don't we put them in they will give us the result we want this happens and it's h it happens increasingly luckily we have people like you right to to expose some of this kind sherad and pretense that there's for instance in England now the whole thing about prescribing Palestine action as a terrorist organization I know I'm getting off the point slightly but only slightly.

>> It's all related. >> It's all related. Yeah. That whole issue um why why is that decided it's decided be by judges who've been told what to decide like Gestein and the current government who support the genocide and they do they've been quite open about it unashamed and why do they well my view um is that it it goes back 500 years maybe to the beginnings of European imperialism and settler colonialism and that that is the burden that we carry is the burden of imperialism set the colonialism expressed now as neoliberal capitalism, globalism. We, the European people and descendants of the European people, are superior to everyone else. And we're allowed to go around the world and steal everything that they've got. We can also rape the women or do we do anything we want. We're in viol. We've got big ships with guns on them. And this is still how the Trump administration and the [ __ ] hexf think is they think like that. Let's go and kill fishermen in the South Pacific and pretend they were running drugs to them because we want to get rid of the Maduro uh government in Venezuela because they've got a lot of oil and we want to steal it and they're completely open about it. That's the stunning thing. Well, maybe that conversation which is not really being had now that people are just accepting American piracy as perfectly legitimate form of foreign policy. Well, it's not legitimate. It's disgusting. It is a foul aberration of the potential that the human race has to love one another and to search for the truth, which is what you're doing with your program today. Searching for the truth about 91. Imagine it. Why did Why was there Why were there no fighter aircraft available to go and have a look at these airplanes that were flying about on that? Why? They'd all been given the day off. They'd been sent to Canada by Dick Janie.

>> I mean, they think we're stupid. >> They think we're stupid. >> Yeah, they do. And they think they can tell any story we want and we'll just believe it. Because they are in the position of power where they can say there is never going to be an actual investigation with people putting forward theories and other people having to prove whether they're true or not or what the likelihood. Well, Matt Campbell, bless him, and his dead brother Jeff are giving us that opportunity in the UK now. And I'm so grateful for Matt doing that.

>> Yeah. And you know, if they can get some of this funding together, again, we'll have a link for it. And what that'll mean is the lawyers can really start ramping up ahead of this October timeline deadline. So again, not to belabor that, but if anyone wants to contribute one pound, five pounds, uh five dollars, 10, you know, whatever you want, um well, you know, to to do it. But it's so important when you think about you've spent your life kind of railing against this like, you know, war propaganda and looking back at 911. Did 911 become like the emotional master key that unlocked everything? I mean, Afghanistan, Iraq, the surveillance state, torture, the permanent war state, um, after the fall of the Soviet Union, we need we need another bad guy in order to keep the war machine going.

>> Absolutely. Yeah. They they they openly admitted, the wolfawitzes of this world, we need another Pearl Harbor. >> Good. Let's do one. And they did one.

>> That's my belief. >> Yeah. >> If we ever have an investigation, I may be proved wrong. I know it's your belief as well. It's certainly Matt Campbell's belief. So, so yeah, they said that, you know, it's all there for anybody who can read and is interested. You only have to look at the the videos of the interviews with Wesley Clark talking about November 2001 when he went into the Pentagon and somebody associated with Paul Wolawitz, who was in charge at the time, said, "We're going to destroy seven countries in the next 5 years." Well, they didn't. It took them 25, but there there's only Lebanon and Iran left of those seven countries. The other five are gone. Iraq, Syria, blah blah blah. Somalia, Sudan, gone. They no longer exist. They're just they're peacemeal. um you know they're run by gangs of armed thugs and by the bankers by the people who sell money you know I mean or yeah who lend money for profit usery as it's called I'm I'm very interested but I saw a tiny thing I think it was on Instagram the other day and it was a little animated feature talking about the Rothschilds and how old man Rothschild back in the 18th century or whenever it was with his five sons sending them off to all the countries of Europe, each son, and saying, "This is what we have to do." Because he figured out that you could make a lot of money lending money for profit to people who need it and then demanding it back. Okay? Usery it's called for for a price or whatever. But he figured out that you could make the most money by doing that with countries with sovereign states. He said, "That's where the real money is." And if you think about it and you look at what's happened, it it one of the little things in this video that I really like was the fact that the Rothschilds backed Napoleon and the Duke of Wellington at the Battle of Waterloo. They backed the Russians and the Brits in the Crimean War. They, you know, they they have money in both sides. They cannot lose. The only thing that is important to them is that the war happens. You know what? But interestingly enough, one camp that they can't have money in at the moment is Iran because usery the lending of money for profit is illegal.

>> Oh, they must hate that. They they they hate that. I mean, look at Lloyds of London right now. Uh, you know, for the first time ever, uh, uninsuring ships through the straight of Hormuse. Like, they if there's a if there's a problem in the world, they'd be happy to increase their rates in order to so they need they need this war machine to continue in in Iran, and they need this machine to keep going so they can continue to make money. Um, you had President Trump just the other day admitting that we're there to steal their oil, that at the dark of night we've stolen millions of barrels of their oil, which is of course at the heart of all of this. Um, when you look at what's happening right now with Iran, um, you know, in all of the reading that you do and all the studying that you do, what stands out to you about that conflict?

>> Well, one thing is that when when you see the way the people of Iran are responding to these unprovoked attacks upon them by the United States and by Israel mainly with the rest of us joining in, of course, the UK is not is is complicit in these actions as well. You realize what an old and ancient civilization uh it is. Persia, we're talking about Persia. And also you realize that the people of that country will never be moved and it is their home and it's so important. There's there's um there's a song on a record I made called radio chaos in 1987 I think and it's called home and it's about leading up to the third world war and somebody pushing a button and us all being blown to pieces. But in the middle of it, it talks about in the lyrics of the song, it's about everybody's got somewhere they call home and how important homeland is all right to us. All of that got slightly screwed up in the uh 15th, 16th, 17th, 18th centuries because Europeans took over most of what people considered their home. And and this is the one of the last bits in the jigsaw is the Americans trying to take over what Iranians call home and it ain't going to happen. Just as it just as in the end, and I'm being prophetic here. It's not going to happen in Palestine. That's the Palestinians home. Yeah, of course. If the Jews want to live there, perfect. But it has to be a single state probably. I don't think this the two-state solution because Israel doesn't want it is unlikely to happen. So, but they have you have to have equal democratic rights for all its citizens irrespective of their race, former nationality, religion or anything else. And that's the bottom line here. That is the platform upon which you and I stand and all thinking caring people with IQ's above room temperature stand upon is December the 10th 1948 the universal declaration of human rights people have inalien all human beings should have the same basic rights the right to life liberty a roof over your head enough to eat and then somewhere safe to bring your kids up for and that's did. No, we don't want that. What we want is perpetual war. Why? Cuz we make money. Ask Ask Mr. Rothschild. And I'm not being anti-Semitic by by, you know, picking out the Rothschilds. Except that it was a Rothschild that Lord Balfur wrote the letter to in 1917 where he said this government supports the idea of a of a home homeland for the Jewish people. say, and this is the paragraph that's never repeated, save that it in no way uh affect the civil and natural rights of the indigenous people already living there. Really? And you think that's what you've done?

>> No, you haven't. I mean, Israel is so so sad as we know. It's so what a sad sad end to an terrible experiment. But it is >> and now we have a knockbot 2.0 and you know the idea that David Petraeus and others are going to be building condominiums which will keep Palestinians under permanent 24-hour surveillance. David Petraeus says these it'll look like Boca Raton. So this is not freedom to be living under this constant surveillance state by the Israelis, by the IDF that you can go about your business in these condominium complexes that look like Bokea Raton built by the Jared Kushners of the world and the David Petraeuses of the world and barbwire fences and no one no one should have to live like that. No one should have to live like that. When they on, to quote my song home, when they something break through the defenses, a minor invasion put down to expenses, will you go down um to the airport lounge? Will you accept your secondass state as a nation of waitresses and waiters? Will you mix their martinis? Will you stand still for it? Or will you take to the hills? We're taking to the hills. We are taking we the people.

>> We'll get back to that interview with Roger in a moment. But first, I had a chance to sit down with Brian Solarek, of course, who is one of the legends in the mining world. And we were talking about gold and where things are going right now with all of this dollar instability as the US dollar continues to collapse. And he told me his words, he sees gold going to $10,000 an ounce. That's right. And Deutsche Bank now projecting gold could soar to $6,000 an ounce by 2026. And if you think that's wild, just look at silver. Bank of America suggesting silver could skyrocket up $300 an ounce. This isn't about profit. It's portfolio insurance for a world on fire right now. Geopolitical instability isn't going away and neither is the debt. $39 trillion in debt. So, a lot of volatility. What's going to happen this week at that big Fed meeting? Will this Iran war ceasefire continue to hold? What's going to happen with oil prices? All of it. So, you need a partner who understands this landscape as well as we do. That's why we personally trust and recommend our friends at Lear Capital. They are fantastic. They've been in the business for over 25 years. I love the idea of us I you know standing up to this uh you're seeing obviously the revolt in Albania right now to the Kushners wanting to buy their own island and buy this fortified bunker system there. Do do we have or are we so beaten down? Because I I go back to your album, Amused to Death. And I and I I was telling you beforehand, go back to 1992. There I am, young young Clayton in Reading, Pennsylvania, sitting in my bedroom listening to that album in headphones and trying to understand what you were talking about about just being sort of zombified by watching all of this war propaganda and being fed and sort of being distracted really by this stream of war propaganda. and and in many ways I could even throw in there sort of uh the money too, whether it's uh you know stimulus checks or whatever to keep the to keep all of us down so we don't rise up. Do you think there are signs that there are steely spines out there who are willing to stand up to this? you know, when I I've just made this new version of Comfortably Numb and and uh we kind of launched it in New York on the 12th of April, which was a Sunday, and we did a panel that evening. I think it's on I think you can see it on YouTube actually. And in the middle of it, I suddenly I'm sitting there and I suddenly start ranting on about what happened yesterday. Uh on the 11th of April, 500 more old people mainly were arrested in Trafalga Square in London holding up pieces of cardboard saying, "I support Palestine action." And I'm I'm almost in tears now, moved as I am by their resolve. And you see these people who've never done a single thing wrong ever in their life. And they're not doing anything wrong holding up that sign. They should be supporting Palestine action. What they're doing is protesting the genocide of the indigenous people of Palestine. That's what they're doing, which is the correct thing to do. And they're being arrested and dragged off by the police. And these are people in their 80s by age. And you think how incredible that they're doing that. Um so so I have I have hope going forward that we are capable of resisting it but it is a monumental effort you know and we and we have to organize obviously and so that we act together that's why I support um USB for instance who who who which is a union in Italy where it's a big union of dock workers and they've got together and said we're not sending anything to it no ship is going to leave any of these boards and go to Israel. So along with the flirtilla on one hand who the Israelis then as usual drop their guard and beat all the women and men on those boats and rape people. They just do it openly because they're so used to the idea that Uncle Sam is going to endorse what they do and pay for it all and applaud them for their disgusting, heinenous, racist, fascist behavior. Well, Uncle Sam may be, but we the people are not. And we are standing up and I'm proud. I'm thank goodness I've lived at least long enough to see the beginning of the tide turning, you know, and the tide is turning.

>> So >> you're seeing it across Europe. I mean, you watch it very closely. Obviously, we've covered, you know, the nazification of Ukraine. Talk about bankers owning that country. I mean, that whole country is now sold out to the IMF, the World Bank. $90 billion additional now from the European Union being flooded into that war zone. Um, you know, you know, make peace now, you fools. Over 2 million Ukrainian soldiers now killed uh because of that little short cocaine sniffing clown. Anyway, I digress. Um, but you're seeing the this push back in certain parts of Europe. Obviously, you dealt very closely with what was going on in Germany. I think they were cancelling your concert, the the tyranny there. Are you seeing signs across Europe that they want to throw off the shackles of the EU AFD party in in in in Germany and others are saying enough is enough? I mean, it's unbelievable what's happening in the United Kingdom right now with these arrests just for speaking publicly or holding a British flag for crying out loud.

>> Yeah. Well, the problem is that support the fascists in England, Tommy Robinson and his mob, you know, they they they had contrasting protest marches uh in London two weeks ago and the Metropolitan Police were out in force at the behest of the Star government to support the fascist march and to put down the pro Palestinian anti-war march, claiming that it's a hate march. That's the words that they use. And the press, the Daily Mail and the Daily Mirror and the Guardian, all of them, they're saying this is a hate march. And this is fine because it's just English people standing up for what they believe. It's [ __ ] Excuse me. It's Oswell Mosley all over again. Nigel Faranch is Oswell Mosley and we all know it. Reform and and Tommy Robinson and all the connections. If you read any of this, any of the expose stuff that Max Blumenthal and Aaron Mate and the Grey Zone and others, Kit Clarenbo, they all put out all the time. It's all there for us to read so we can see what's going on. Can you and I, particularly you, because you have this great podcast. Can you can we get our message of a vision of a world in the future that's that's run by love and truth rather than by hatred and lies across? I believe we can. And I'm certainly never going to stop trying to achieve that end. Is it easy? No, it's not. And you know, unfortunately, we unfortunately most of us don't read. Most of us have apparently never read a book in our lives. We don't we know nothing about history and so so it's difficult. But do I believe it's possible? Yeah, I do. And if I didn't, I don't know what I do. It would be it would be very difficult to carry on.

>> Yeah. >> You you know, people say, well, artists, there's a lot of artists that stay silent. They go into these zones and they don't say a word about anything. Um and then we hear artists who who speak out and suddenly they wind up they wind up dead. Michael Jackson um speaking out against uh you know in favor of the Palestinian people. It's very convenient then suddenly he is he's gone. Um do you think there's a form uh obviously there's a big money machine behind a lot of these artists out there who perform and who kind of stay silent. Do you think it's cowardice that they don't speak out?

>> Um maybe in some ca in fact without question in some cases it is it is cowardice. Uh however I think in most cases yes they are persuaded by the fact that um somebody is whispering in your in their ear. The business in America certainly where I've lived for 20 years is whispering in their ear. you do know you'll never sell another record. We'll make sure of it. And so people go, I have friends, people I call friends who who I'm not going to name who've admitted that to me. Hey man, really admire what you're doing. I can't do it. That would be the end of my career. I'd never I'd have to get a job, you know, >> working on a construction site because I that would be the end of my career in the music industry. May maybe it's because people liked all the work I did in Pink Floyd and even pe some people like you and I'm so happy to hear you say it like the music to death you know and some of the other records I made not least is this the life we really want which which is 10 years older but so yeah um I've sort of given up and in that having that conversation really I don't need to talk to Tom York or you you know or any of the others who have sort of by maintaining their silence um accepted they're complicit in the genocide or they say it doesn't matter. That's basically what because if you don't get involved, if you don't raise your voice, if you don't join the fight, you're sort of saying well it's none of my business. Oh, let's Why don't we sit and have coffee and talk about music?

>> You see propaganda so easily now? You're you're able to see it marching at you from a couple of miles away. Um, was it always the case for you? Because if someone's watching right now and maybe doesn't know the difference uh and maybe is just starting on this journey of awakening to this war propaganda machine that's blaring at them constantly. It's a very strong machine taking over social media, the the mainstream media, the newspapers, if anyone reads those anymore. Now it's buying influencers uh paying them, but they don't disclose that they're being paid to push a certain message. So, what was the moment for you when you realized you were being lied to? And how can you instruct other people who are trying to find their way through this propagandic narrative right now, this web of deceit, to kind of break free of it?

Okay. Well, on on the on the the the political in the political arena that I've been most involved in in the last 20 years, which is Israel Palestine. Uh I I went to Israel in 2006 and I did a gig in a village called Nev Shalom, which is peace village and uh and everything extrapolated from that. I went back the next year. I traveled all over the West Bank and I and all over Israel. I did not go to Gaza, but I went everywhere else and I saw what was happening with my own eyes. And I thought, how on earth did I ever believe any of the propaganda about rolling your sleeves up in the kibutzes and bringing sort of workingclass democratic system to this unruly desert land? How did I ever believe it? Because once you've been there, you you the the blindfold comes off and you realize it's a disgusting racist, you know, country. And as we've seen since that was 2006, so we're now seeing and it they were already committing the genocide. They've been committing it since the 1930s uh one way or another. My father taught in Jerusalem in 1934 and 1935. It was his first job ever. He was a teacher at St. George's School in Jerusalem and he wrote letters home to my grandmother saying he was very worried that um foreign money was coming in to Palestine and that they were building sort of barbed wire surrounded enclaves called kibutsis and stealing the land or no they were actually at the time only buying it. they were buying the land. But then and and he said he was really worried about the potential downside for all the people who live in all the Palestinians. He said this cannot this can only end badly. How right he was. Of course he was killed a couple of years later at Anzio in 1944. So not a couple nine years later. So the other bit I I that that's in my blood. Both my mother and father were members of the Communist Party of during and immediately after the war in England. And so I I grew up a kind of left-wing politics and and I grew up with a mother who who was she she gave me one fabulous lesson when I was in my early teens. She looked at me one day when I was worrying about something and she said, "You're worrying about something, aren't you, Roger?" And I went, "Just a bit, Mom." And she said, "Listen, I don't want to know what it is, but let me tell you this. All through your life, difficult questions will come up that you will need to ponder. And when one does, I want you to do this. I want you to read and read and read. Not just read the people who agree with you. Read contrary opinions as well, people who don't agree with you. But read and the history of whatever it is. Read, read, read. When you've done that, you've done all the hard work. Oh, really, ma'am? Well, what do I do when I've done all the hard work then? Oh, the next bit's easy. You do the right thing.

>> Isn't that great? >> That's great. What are you reading right now that would move the needle for people? What what has, you know, I I'll just tell you I'm reading a book right now which is deeply disturbing. Uh well, Annie Jacobson's book on the nuclear on nuclear war and just seeing how devastating that would be and what that what the machinations of that would be. And it's deeply disturbing. And so how do you do the right thing? you you push for you push for peace. You you you push these people to never have this type of power, you know, nuclear disarmament, etc. But anyway, that's that's what I've been reading the past couple of uh couple of days. What are you reading right now that's had you sort of with your jaw a gape?

>> Nothing. I'll tell you why. I know that sounds ludicrous, but having told the story about my mom, read, read, read. I'm all read out, brother. It's like when VJ Pashard writes his wonderful articles in trcontinental newsletter which he does every you know whatever minute I I sometimes feel like sending back to going VJ this is wonderful it's too long nobody can concentrate for that I can't read I can't claw my way through stuff partly because I'm writing my own memoir and if I have a minute during the day when everything else stops I I open my laptop and where was die and I start write writing again. So, I'm much more in writing mode than we But funny enough, one of the old um managers of Pink Floyd's lovely man called Andrew King, he's still live, he's living in London, he sent me a tiny little red book, like I don't know, published in 1920 something or other. And it's by John Buckan who wrote the

>> Oh, I was about to say is it by Mau? >> No, it's not Ma's little red book. It's not. It's John Buckan's little red book and it I think it's called John McKay and it's got tiny prints so it's very difficult to read but that's what I've got on my bedside table and now that I've deleted Instagram from my phone so I'm no longer subject to that morphine drip because it it is even if you grew up before there were any phones there were you know when I grew up there were no mobile phones. I remember the first ones they weighed about eight pounds.

>> Well, the 1980s I didn't have it as part of my Well, that's what I wanted to ask you. I'm really I'm really scared about this because it's okay for you to be all read out. You've read your whole life. Um I have I have as well. But this younger generation, this morphine drip, this dopamine hit of short form content, you know, do young people, is it intentional where we don't want them to read? We don't want them to read.

>> Of course, it's intentional. Yeah. It scares the [ __ ] Absolutely. Do you know that I was I was watching a few days ago the very beginning of a film I made when I was doing the US and them tour and it's called Swaddled my film and it's like a young me typing and the beginning of the film goes um of course darling I remember my mother one day saying to me of course darling if the Germans had won the war they'd have killed me because I was a communist but as you were so young they would have probably kept you and brought you up as a good little Nazi. Scared the [ __ ] out of me. It still does. This is the predicament of an of an Israeli child is from the second you're born, you are bought up as a good little Nazi and you'll be it. And if anybody says to you, "But don't you think genocide's wrong?" you go because you don't give a [ __ ] because you're a good little Nazi. So, so I take your point about this and how the dopamine feed is so powerful and so difficult to resist is extraordinarily important and it's all over everywhere. If you're interested in the problem, everybody is. Steve Jobs wouldn't let his kids have phones,

>> right? >> Because they're so dangerous and he recognized it. There he was sort of dying of cancer, refusing to get treatment because he was a bit loopy probably or for what. But he knew that what he was creating was unbelievably dangerous and that kids who are allowed to use computers or tablets or what at school learn much less than kids who are not allowed to use those things. that you that books teach you much more efficiently than this does.

>> And I you're not just being hyperbolic. There was a study about a month ago that confirmed that that children who are using Chromebooks and tablets in school, typing things out rather than handwriting them down >> are retaining far less and are their test scores are much lower.

>> Yeah, that's exactly correct. Yeah. So, so yeah. So all of these things all of these things are running parallel through our lives obviously and we have to so you and I get to decide what we're going to devote the 8 hours or 10 hours or 12 hours that we have in this particular day to in order to do our bit pushing Copus's stone up the hill hoping that it won't roll back down again and that we will eventually get it to the top and it'll roll down the other side and people will be happier and and the world will be a way better place to live in. Don't forget, you know, let's not forget Dwight D. Eisenhower, right, when he talked about the military industrial complex in 1961, I think it was in as part of his retirement speech. That was hugely important moment as well. So there have been moments when politicians in power have said things that are very important. That was one JF Kennedy's um are they called commencement speeches that he made at that university in Massachusetts on the 10th of June 1963 4 months before he was murdered by them >> by by them by the powers that they they decided he wants to make peace with the Russians. We're not having that. Bang. And they killed him. And we all know they did, but there's still no investigation into it. No. No. He was killed by Lee Harvey Oswald from a mile away, you know, with an old gun that somebody thrown on a rubbish dump.

>> No, he wasn't. >> You know, the back of his head blew off. We all know all of this. But yeah, but isn't it interesting that they the powers that be Jared Kushner who as we know like his father-in-law is a complete [ __ ] People say how could he can't be a [ __ ] He's rich. He's like Elon M Elon Musk's going to be I met Elon Musk one day. I met him at a party in St. Barts one Christmas many years ago when I used to go down there at Christmas time and stay with a friend, a film producer friend of mine there and Musk came to a party. Oh, you got to meet this guy. He's amazing people. And I sat down with him for about 20 minutes and I thought this guy's a [ __ ] This guy makes no sense at all. He's complet he's exactly the same as he is now. When you listen to him talk, he sounds like an idiot, and he is, but he's part of the making perpetual war uh scenario that they all support. That's why the government of Donald Trump is giving him billions and billions of dollars every year to send his Darth rockets up into space to perpetuate the war that is making all of them multi-billionaires and making it impossible for us to go out and buy a bag of crisps, chips as you call.

the the technocratic surveillance state has and this sort of fusion of AI has me in many ways terrified. Um, forget even nation states at this point. It's these technocratic oligarchs. um the Elon Musks, the Jeff Bezos's who have these massive contracts, the Palunteers of the world, the Peter Teals of the world who, you know, we're lulled into this idea that we need our border blocked and secure, right? Um and the way that we have safety in the United States is we're going to biometrically scan everybody. You're going to be a part of this massive database. We'll know every movement you make and you'll like it. That to me is the most terrifying next step here. And it's I mean it's already unfolding all throughout the UK. It's unfolding through the United States with these flocking cameras. And now you have communities who are taking it into their own hands and going out and destroying these flocking cameras and they're sick of it. But I I'm just terrified about what comes next with 6G technology. Um President Trump talked about it. They'll be able to penetrate right through walls, right into your body. They'll know every movement you make. Um, and you know it's what can we do but

>> go to Wyoming and get a compound or something. Roger.

>> Well, Earthous who you know who who knows who knows what the objectives will be or what will happen. But that is Musk actually in public said the other day it's already happened. Uh, you know, universal AIG or whatever he calls it. Um, and he and it terrifyingly he may well be right. And then the what the name you didn't mention, Alex Cobb, who works for Peter Teal.

>> The the most dangerous thing is that JD Vance works for Peter Teal. He's the vice president of the United States. When Trump finally shits himself to death, which he will in a minute ahead, JD Vance will be the president of the United and he's absolutely owned long lockto stock and barrel by Peter Teal. So he's a so he's a colleague of Alex Carp, the CEO of Palanteer, who is on record. I've seen him on things saying and blah blah blah and we'll do this and that and the other and we'll rule the world and if we don't like you, we'll kill you. and he said it openly in public and they do and that's exactly what they do. And should we be scared? Yeah.

>> Should we all live in communes? I have no idea.

>> We'll get back to join the Angel Guild today for a limited time. Premium membership is just $15 a month or $135 annually. You'll get two free tickets to see Young Washington on this Independence Day. And today's show is brought to you by our friends at American Financing. Because in uncertain economic times, American financing is helping families find a way out of the highinterest trap that we're all stuck in right now. We are, of course, heading into summer. Summer officially starts in just a few days, but the economic clouds aren't clearing for most middle class families. Between persistent inflation, the cost of daily life, you're likely to feel this pressure. You know, you've worked hard for your home, probably have more equity than you realize, yet the summer surge is forcing many to rely on credit cards. It's

An exhausting cycle. But American Financing understands that and 2026 requires a real strategy. That's why they use salary-based mortgage consultants who work for you and not the big banks. With mortgage rates in the Fives, their customers are saving an average of $800 a month by wiping out high-interest debt. That's money that stays in your pocket to fight back against rising costs. No upfront fees and no pressure. And if you start today, you could delay two mortgage payments. So call American Financing today. 866-898-434. That's 866-898-434 or just visit americanfinancing.net/redacted.

Trump, you know, Trump supporters who've really turned on President Trump are sort of, you know, putting their hat out there saying, "Well, JD Vance will get us out of these wars. He'll keep us from uh he'll keep us out of war with Iran. He'll stop us from attacking um, you know, Syria. He'll bring our boys home." Um, I think these people are delusional. Uh, as you just pointed out, having this connection to Peter Thiel, Alex, Alex Alex Karp, um, and taking this money in the way that he has has really shaped him the same way that President Trump has been shaped by the Addens and otherwise.

"He's a puppet on a string like the rest of it. He will dance to their tune. JD Vance won't have any power in any of this. He'll do as he's effing well told, just like Trump does. He doesn't. I mean, Trump's extremely erratic and weird. He suited their purpose up to a point. I don't think he does anymore, but JD Vance will and and and that and the money the money that drives all of this needs perpetual war. It needs it. It's what the Rothschilds discovered all those years ago. They need there to be perpetual war. If we all lived together and we and we collaborated one with another and we believed in the basic idea of individual human rights for individual human beings, they wouldn't be able to make the fortunes that they make. They'd have would they'd have to think of things that were socially acceptable to do to make their money and and so and that doesn't suit them because they care about nothing but their own greed and their own wealth. Like so that Kushner can go and buy Albania. He'll probably just say, 'I think I'll buy the whole country.' Not understanding that Albanians have somewhere they call home and it's Albania and they're lovely people. My friend Joe Boyd is about to go back there and make yet another album of wonderful Albanian folk music with the surviving skills of the people who live there who still play musical instruments and this and that. Just like the people of Georgia, those fabulous choirs of miners and or church near all of these places, you know, where there are people who've been living there for thousands and thousands of years and it is their home. And what we should all be doing as a human race is saying, 'Let's make sure that they get on all right. Let's share this with them.' But we don't. We go, 'Oh, excuse me. If you go if you go on doing that, 30 or 40 million Indians are gonna die.' Winston Churchill."

"So cool."

"Imagine reinvesting that money, the trillions that we spend on war, reinvesting it into the communities and and fresh water and communities around the world to help people um to lift them up, not to, you know, not to to give them welfare checks every day, but to to enable them to live a h a life of happiness, to provide for their family. And instead, quot."

"Yeah."

"Just imagine. Yeah. How what a wonderful world that would be to live in, you know."

"And and maybe we'll get there, you know. Maybe we will get there."

"Yeah. And I I hope so. I'm a glass half full kind of person, so I I hope that we can get there without having to reach sort of Jared Diamond's collapse uh, you know, thesis first before we have to realize this. I hope that we are smart enough as a species to to to realize this before it's too late. For sure."

"Um, well, to bring us back full circle, Roger, so I can get you out of here. This big case, this Jeff Campbell case, um, the death of Jeff Campbell, uh, being led by his family in the UK right now. Again, we'll have a link in the description. Roger has thrown a lot of money to support this as well and to lend his voice to it. So, I'm just calling on all of you out there if you want answers around 9/11, uh, please, please, please do what you can. Roger, final thoughts on that."

"I I just, I just want to back up what you've just said because it is it is a fundamentally important moment in the history of our race. Our race is the human race and we are being destroyed by Palantir and the rest of them. And this court case in England is a huge step towards us allowing ourselves to examine what they, the Palantirs, the Alex Karps, the ruling class, the Gerard Kushners are doing and and how we can possibly stop them. It may not feel as if it's connected, but it is and it's hugely important. So, please support Matt Campbell's crowdfunder."

"Yeah. I mean, just look at what information we got out of court cases around Pfizer and what they tried to do to us during uh during all of that. Um, and these vaccines and everything. So, court court cases can move the needle to be sure."

"Uh, the great Roger Waters, it's been an honor. I could talk to you all night. Um, but I've I know you've got a life and you've you've got other things to do. Um, but I would love to uh to continue this discussion with you at some point. Uh, it's been a real honor having you here on the show, Roger."

"Then we will. I I much look forward to coming back and keep up the good work with Redacted."

"Thank you so much, Roger."

"All right. Cheers, brother."

"Cheers. Thank you so much for watching Redacted. We'd love for you to subscribe to the channel. It's totally free if you want to follow us or subscribe. And if we brought you any value at all, please consider sharing this video with a friend or a loved one on social media."
