Morphological characteristics of pro monocytes.
So the pro monocyte is the uh an intermediate stage in the development of the monocyte. They will have uh similar cytoplasm as a monocyte, so blue, uh grainy, coarse, kind of a granular texture to it. You may see fine azurophilic granules in the cytoplasm.
And the nucleus will have folds, likely and a little bit more mature features, so maybe a tiny bit of clumping, but this should be prominent nucleoli present.
