Now, S tier, obviously, there's no reason to talk about these guys. It's Bejian Taylor, McAffrey, Achan, Chase Lamb, Ibuka, James Cook, Josh Jacobs. I'm sorry, but if one of these players is on your bench this week, you're not playing fantasy football. I don't know what you are playing, but you need to look for a different league.
Now, going down to A tier, maybe you could somehow someway have one of these guys in your bench if you're playing in a threeperson league or smaller. But Saquon Barkley will lead us off one of our favorite underdog pickups early in the week with Saquon Barkley lower than 105 and a half total yards. That looks like it has got moving down to about 99 and a half total yards. But what's actually very surprising is seeing the spread on this game. The Eagles are currently favored over the Giants here by about seven and a half points. One of the largest spreads on the week. So, realistically, we should expect that the Philadelphia Eagles will be running the ball consistently. Saquon Barkley is the number two running back in my lineup this week, and I am really hoping that he comes through in a big time way for us.
Now, Javvante Williams will be our next RV. I had previously had Javvante ranked ahead of Saquon Barkley early in the week and Javvante has actually been much better than Barkley so far this season, averaging more than five points per game more. Um, but here it's just about the matchup. You're going up against the Denver Broncos who have one of the better defenses in the NFL and you currently have the Broncos favored by about three and a half points. But obviously Javvante is going to crush regardless because he has a receiving role.
Then going over and looking at Rashid Rice, while the yardage totals are never going to project out extremely high, still you have the touchdown upside based off the offense that he's in. Like realistically, if you go through and look at the implied team totals, you actually currently have the Kansas City Chiefs with an implied team total of 30 points, projecting to be the second highest scoring offense in the league, only behind the Indianapolis Colts, who we'll talk about later on with Michael Pitman Jr.
Now Derk Henry will be our next name. We've gotten used to seeing the Baltimore Ravens project out as one of the worst offenses in the league, but this goes to speak of the greatness of Lamar Jackson. Lamar's first week back in and they are already favored by a touchdown over the Chicago Bears and they project to be a top three offense in the league. Y'all know I'm not the biggest Derk Henry guy because I do think you have holes in a profile of a running back that's about 30 years old that doesn't catch the ball on third downs. So, I'm not the biggest Derrick Henry guy, but this is a get right spot, and I think you have to jam him in if you have him.
Rashad White was disappointing this past week against the Detroit Lions with only eight and a half points. But even in a disappointing game for White, he still has 16 opportunities with six of those being targets. So, realistically, he's a Bellcow running back until we get Bucky Irving back in. He played 91% of the snaps this past week, and he's playing in the dome in New Orleans. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are heavy favorites and this game does have a pretty high total as well. Rashad White's an auto start.
Um Drake London will be an auto start as well. London has very concerning trends if you were looking at the splits with and without Darnell Mooney. Like he's actually been much better without Darnell Mooney in the lineup. Now realistically the Atlanta Falcons do have an implied team total of 26 points. Should be one of the highest scoring offenses in the league. But a lot of that is going to come down to what they can do with Tyler Algier as well as Bejon Robinson knowing that the Miami Dolphins have one of the worst rush defenses in the entire NFL.
Now our next running back will be Cam Scataboo. Cam Scataboo has been insane. It's sad that I had to trade him away for Roma Dunay. My team needed wide receiver help. But if we are looking at Scat until he gets injured, he is penciled in to see 20 plus opportunities every single week.
Now, I completely understand that people are going to roll their eyes when I say this because we said the same thing last week that the New York Giants do project to be one of the worst offenses in the league. The only offenses the Giants currently project to outscore according to sports books are the Cleveland Browns and the Tennessee Titans. But Scataboo is going to be safe regardless because he has a receiving role. Quinn Sean Judkins does not have that same level receiving involvement. Quinn Sean Judkins does actually project to be in a worse offense this week than what you have with the New York Giants. And like I said, I think you prefer Scataboo in this match up against Philly as long as Scataboo is healthy because his role as a receiver is going to be larger than Judkins's for the time being.
Now, if you want to say, Mason, you're an idiot. Why the hell would you ever rely on these projections if they could possibly ever be wrong? I'm going to let you know they're going to be more right than you are. Now, moving over to our next player, we are going to have Courtland Sutton. Typically, Sutton is not going to be ranked this high, but what he has going for him this week is you are going up against the Dallas Cowboys. The Dallas Cowboys have one of the worst defenses in the NFL for that reason. The Denver Broncos have an implied team total of 27 points, which is much higher than we typically see. And you do have an overunder this game, higher than 50 points. So, realistically, it could be a shootout.
Now, our next name is going to be Rome Adun. This is the wide receiver that I just traded for. I mean, realistically, he's been very bad over the past two weeks, averaging about five fantasy points per game. This was with him averaging about 20 points per game through the first month of the season. Now, do I think that Rome's going to get back to his 20 points per game? No, I don't. I mean, we were ranking him quote unquote too low according to the comment section back then. And the reason for it is he was running hot with touchdowns. That touchdown rate was never going to keep up. But now we've gone to the other end of the extreme where Roma Dunce is actually underperforming his expected fantasy points every week. I think this is going to balance out this match up against the Baltimore Ravens in which the Chicago Bears probably are going to have to throw the ball as they should be trailing this game through the majority of it.
Now Z Flowers, George Pickkins will be our next two names. Was actually very surprising is seeing exactly how well Flowers projects in comparison to George Pickins. Now, I understand, yes, George Piggins has a really tough matchup going up against the Denver Broncos. You obviously have CD Lamb back into this offense as well. But, I mean, it is surprising to see on underdog right now. They have Flowers higher lower 65 and a half total yards and George Piggins higher lower 55 and a half. So, maybe I'm underestimating exactly how much better Flowers is going to be with Lamar. But regardless, I think you can call both these guys probably must start names.
Now, I'm recording this video super early on Friday morning, so we do not know the update with AJ Brown just yet, but he is currently missing practice on Wednesday and Thursday. The Friday practice is going to be critical for AJ Brown. Now, he is only averaging about 12 and a half fantasy points per game coming into this contest, coming off a massive blowup performance. But if you look at the target share, it has been relatively consistent ever since AJ Brown started crying online. Well, they decided to start force feeding targets a little bit more so in his direction. And the projections do like AJ Brown as long as he plays.
Um, Chase Brown is a running back that typically is going to be a lot lower in these rankings, but he has something working for him, and that's the fact that he actually gets to go up against the New York Jets this week. And you have the Cincinnati Bengals favored by about six and a half points. Without Joe Burrow, there won't be many games that the Bengals win. There won't be many games in which they are actually favored in going into the night. But here, the Jets matchup is that case. And realistically, I think Chase Brown, for that reason, is probably somebody that you have to start.
Um JK Dobbins also a running back that typically is not going to be this high for us in our rankings because he's very much a touchdown or bus player. What's actually hilarious is he has not had a single game with 10 or more receiving yards this season. If you're looking at the games in which he did not score a touchdown, he had 11.5, four, and nine fantasy points. But specifically this week, it should be a much better spot because you get to go up against the Dallas Cowboys and we have seen legendary games from the likes of Rico Dattle against this defense.
Now, DeAndre Swift is back at practice, which is super encouraging. Um, Swift did miss practice on Wednesday, but it seems like he is just simply going to be good to go. Um, Kyle Manungai had a decent little role last week against the New Orleans Saints, but I think that was more so due to it being a blowout. DeAndre Swift still has a very consistent receiving role, which is very handy in a game like this in which they'll probably be trailing to the Baltimore Ravens.
Now, I was very concerned previously about Jaylen Warren's usage in comparison to Kenneth Gainwell after seeing the Gainwell breakout, I want to say back in week four. But here against the Green Bay Packers, you can project out Jaylen Warren to have almost everything in this backfield. He played 65% of the snaps against the Bengals this past week and he had 21 opportunities at the same time. So realistically, Jaylen Warren is probably somebody that if you have, you just got to jam him in as a three-own running back. I don't love this matchup against the Green Bay Packers, though, where the Packers are favored in this game.
Now, Bree Hall has a great matchup on paper against the Cincinnati Bengals, but he had a great matchup on paper against the Carolina Panthers last week. And what did he do? He scored 7.2 two fantasy points and was the RB 29. Bree Hall has had zero games with 20 or more fantasy points this year and he's had four games with fewer than 10. So I I just find myself every single week saying, "Yeah, I probably got to start him." But realistically, I mean, obviously we are just hoping that eventually he does get traded.
Now moving over and looking at our next name, we are going to have Chris Ave the target volume's been very consistent all season. Now like if you go ahead and you look at what he has given you from a per game perspective, he's at 10.1 targets, 6.3 receptions, both of which are career highs. And the efficiency is now all of a sudden trending in the right direction. Previously, he was sitting there with a yards per route run that was like 1.5, a yards per target that was about five, which was unheard of. Now, he has been able to provide bigger plays, which is nice. This match up against Tampa is in the dome. While at the same time, the New Orleans Saints project to score 21 points. You've actually seen sports books giving Spencer Rattler a much better line pretty much every week. Now, Rattler has been playing well.
I'm going over and looking at Michael Pitman Jr., um, realistically, if you had no Josh Down in this game, he would be a lot higher because the Indianapolis Colts do project to score the most points in the NFL. Now, of course, this match up against the Tennessee Titans is probably one in which they can just run the ball over and over and over again. And you should have Josh DS back in. And realistically, DS will take some targets.
Now, DK Mechaf will be our next name. DK Mechaf is the wide receiver, too, on my own fantasy team. So, you better believe that I'm rooting for our guy. But realistically, he is sitting here so far this season actually only averaging six targets a game, only averaging 3.7 receptions per game. So, the volume's been non-existent. He's had 21% of his team's target share. He's getting there off a touchdown efficiency, off a random big play or two, which is very difficult to project into the future and very difficult to project against a good defense like the Green Bay Packers, but you better believe I'm hoping for it.
And the Dvont Smith will be our next wide receiver with Smith. Again, the Philadelphia Eagles project to outscore the New York Giants by about a touchdown. And if you have no AG Brown, I'd say Devont Smith at that point is actually probably going to rise up to being like an A tier player for us. I'd be that excited because he actually has performed incredibly well as of late. We're now on the season. He's averaging over 14 points per game.
Our next name will be Jaylen Wadd. With Waddle, if you got him, you probably have to start him. Am I excited about it? No, I mean right now the Miami Dolphins only project to outscore the Tennessee Titans, the Cleveland Browns and the New York Giants this week. If we are looking at this situation, it's just been worse every single week. Now we're waddle this past one against the Cleveland Browns only scored two and a half fantasy points.
Now moving over to our next tier, we are going to have Tettereroa McMillan who you don't have Bryce Young this week against the Buffalo Bills, but honestly that may be a good thing. I don't know if Andy Dalton is that much of a downgrade. And this match up against the Buffalo Bills is one in which they're probably going to trail. They're probably going to have to try to throw the ball. I would say the Carolina Panthers are definitely much better at running it. And it's going to be their plan against this Bills defense, at least at the beginning of the game, but that probably will eventually get away from him.
Now, moving over to our next name, we're going to look at T. Higgins. He will be in a flex spot for me. So will Stefon Diggs. Like again, it's actually very surprising to see the Cincinnati Bengals project to be one of the better offenses on the week. And if you do have Jamar Chase getting the majority of defensive attention, maybe Tiggins can do something. Realistically, you're probably going to have all the targets getting funneled to Chase, but Higgins has had six targets every single game over the past month, which is more consistent volume than what you've seen with Stefon Diggs. Where Diggs, we've had some of these pretty big spikes, but then we've also had some of these games where he just kind of disappears. This match up against the Cleveland Browns is typically one in which you do see opposing offenses having to drop back to throw because it's not like the Browns defense is the best when it comes to stopping the pass the way they are when it comes to stopping the run.
Wandell Robinson will be our next name with Well. He's just going to get flooded with targets, right? I mean, right now you have the New York Giants projected to lose this game by a big margin. Over the past three weeks at the same time, he is averaging almost nine targets a game. So, Montell, if you got him, you probably need to start him.
Alvin Kamar will be our next running back. Like, you would think like, oh, okay, the Saints offense projects better than they typically do. And at the same time, you have no Miller, so maybe Kamar's role is going to expand. Well, Kamara played 72% of the snaps this past week against Chicago. And what did he give you? He gave you a 5.9 fantasy points. The dude has 123 receiving yards and we are in week eight. Like, Alvin Kamar is washed. It it sucks to say, but it's the it's honestly the truth. He's averaging a career low yards per attempt. He's averaging a career low yards per target. He's averaging a career low target share in this offense. Like nothing is going right for Alvin Kamara other than they're playing in the dome. The offense projects well and the game environment should be decent.
Then Rico Dattle will be our next name with Rico Dattle. You actually did have him kind of split in the back field with Chubbert. Hubard seeing just as much if not more work this past week. I mean, D actually only had a total of 45% of the snaps played. But Dowel continues to look like the much better running back from an explosiveness standpoint, from an efficiency standpoint. He is currently averaging 5.6 yards per carry and 7.1 yards per target. You go over and you look at Chuba Hubard. Hubard's at 3.7 yards per attempt and 5.9 yards per target.
Now, Roandre Stevenson will be our next player. It's a tough matchup on paper going up against Cleveland, which again, you're not really able to run against, but the New England Patriots project out as heavy heavy favorites here about touchdown favorites. So, they probably are just going to be playing it slow and running the ball in the second half. And clearly we've seen that Trevon Henderson made a pass at Mike Vrabel's wife and he will never see the field ever again because of it.
Now over at our next tier we are have Xavier Worthy. Um I drafted a ton of him in underdog best play draft. So I wish I could come through and say like oh yeah we know Xavier Worthy is going to be just fine with Rashi. I I can't tell you that. I mean the dude's had four targets over the past two weeks. The efficiency hasn't been good either. He's averaging 1.57 yards per per route run. He's averaging like 23 routes run per game. Like so I am very much worried about Worthy.
This Isaiah Pacheco ranking is very dependent on what you have with Kareem Hunt status. If Kareem Hunt is going to miss, then Isaiah Pacheco, despite averaging a career low 7.77 points per game, is kind of going to be a mustart name against the Commanders where you do have the Kansas City Chiefs favored by almost about two touchdowns. And I do actually need to put an apology out. I keep on saying like, oh, the Giants are a bottom three offense on the week. You actually do technically have the Commanders projected to score half a point fewer than the Giants. So, I guess um here with that in mind, you'll see our Jakori crossing merit ranking and how low it is in just a second.
Now, moving over to Woody Marks. Uh Woody Marks is giving you um reasons to be excited. He plays a career-high 62% of the snaps this past week against the Seattle Seahawks. And at the same time, he actually does see a career-high five targets as well. So, the usage is 100% trending in the right direction. The issue is this offensive line is the worst O line in the league. Woody Mars is averaging 3.3 yards per carry so far this season. It's not really his fault with how bad this offensive line is either, but it's not getting any better anytime soon.
Now, Chubbert will be our next player with Albert. Like we discussed, technically you do have the work kind of going more so in his direction than you have with Rico Data or at least this past week. But again, I do want to reiterate that I would assume that they continue to get more work over to Rico based on him just continuing to outproduce Hubard.
Then Debo Samuel will be our next name. If we are looking at Debo, um, he's averaging what, like 15 and a half points per game, which is well ahead of so many other players that we have him ranked behind. I just want nothing to do with him where you're playing in Kansas City, you're two touchdown dogs. Marcus Mariota is your quarterback and Terry McLaren's going to be healthy. Like, if you wanted to play Romeo Dobs over Debo, I'm not going to fault you. Romeo Dobs actually currently projects better than Debo Samuel on Underdog Fantasy. Dobs is higher lower 52 and a half yards where Debo Samuels higher lower 49 and a half and then Terry McLaren's higher lower 47 and a half. But realistically like I said I don't want to start either of the Washington guys even though they are back and maybe you're more excited about them rest of season until Jaden Daniels is back in. They're literally nothing.
Jaka Krosky Meritt's probably the next guy you're wondering where he is and realistically I can't give him any respect in this spot. You have the toughest matchup imaginable going up against the Kansas City Chiefs. I mean, hell, you've had like five games with 10 or fewer points, two games with more. You're just a touchdown robust running back at this point with no receiving role whatsoever. If we look at the games in which he hasn't scored a touchdown, it's been 1.7 point, 7.7, 5.8, and 4.2. Like, I I 100% want to bench him if I can.
Our next name is going to be Khalil Shakir. If we are looking at Shakir, I mean there's been a lot of smoke coming out of Buffalo that they are looking to trade for a wide receiver. I think a big reason is Shakir hasn't necessarily been that much of a needle mover. I mean, as somebody who has Josh Allen in their fantasy team, I'd love if they went out there and they traded for a wide receiver. Shakir so far this season has zero games with fewer than 20 fantasy points, is sitting at 10.7 points per game at the moment, and they're probably not going to have to throw the ball with aggression against Carolina.
Um, Shahed will be our next name. With Shahed, I like that he's in the dome. At the same time, I mean, you can pretty much pencil him in every single week to get a baseline level of targets where he has not had a single game with fewer than four reception or fewer than five targets this season. But I don't I don't think he's that good of a player.
Matthew Golden will be our next name. I think Matthew Golden's a much better player, but realistically, it just hasn't mattered so far in fantasy this year. I mean, he does play a careerhigh 73% of the snaps this past week against the Arizona Cardinals, which is nice. And I am making these rankings under the assumption that Christian Watson is really going to make no difference whatsoever his first week back in.
Um, DJ Moore has not had a single game with more than six targets this year. DJ Moore is the wide receiver, 47 in points per game. So, I don't see how you ever start DJ Moore. He missed practice early in the week as well with the hip like TZ Johnson. Realistically, you could possibly put in over him. If you had no Ibuka in this offense, I would be way higher on Tez Johnson. I would have TZ Johnson up there around Tedo and McMillan in our rankings. But realistically, while it's been fun with the touchdowns lately for TZ, it's not like he's had I mean, the consistent volume over the past two weeks, he is averaging about six targets per game. And you probably don't have the Tampa Bay Buccaneers giving Baker Mayfield as many pass attempts as what he had last week.
Now, our next name is going to be Keon Coleman. With Keon Coleman, he's sitting here averaging 9.6 fantasy points per game, but a lot of that skewed based off the fact that week one he had 25 fantasy points and was the wide receiver two in fantasy. Um, it's been a long time since then. He's had about 13 targets over the past two weeks and you still have very little competition in Buffalo.
Um, Jerry Judy, I have on the bottom end of my bench. I I keep on saying that I'm going to drop him and for whatever reason I keep on holding him there. Realistically, the dude is averaging way more targets per game than almost any other player in this range. But it doesn't matter because he's fewer than one yards per route run, fewer than five yards per target. He has looked like just one of the I I don't want to blame it on him, but the efficiency has been one of the worst marks in the NFL this season, if not the worst. Whether you want to blame it on the offense, the quarterback, Jerry Judy himself, it has to be a combination of all of them for him to be this bad.
Then Darnell Mooney will be our next name. Um Darnell Mooney I do think probably impacts where you rank Drake London or your Drake London expectations, but it's not like Darnell Mooney has done anything himself this season. I mean, the most receptions he's had in a game this year has been four.
Jawan Jennings isn't healthy. and you have Jawan Jennings going up against one of the toughest defenses in the entire NFL um with the Houston Texans. You can kind of say the same thing about Kendrick Borne here as well about the matchup. And now that you have KD back in, I'm just less excited about targets going the direction of these wide receivers.
Then Kahan Booty will be our next wide receiver. And I know he's actually outproduced most players in this range, but here's my holdup. It's only been with touchdowns. Yeah, it's cool that he's had four touchdowns this year, but he's had 20 receptions. He's not going to continue to score a touchdown on one out of every five targets.
Um, Tyler Algier will be our next name. Alier is startable in my mind considering the fact that I mean, hell, we've actually seen him provide some standalone valuable weeks um already this season. And you have a phenomenal matchup against the Miami Dolphins, the worst rush defense in the league. And like I said, you've actually seen four games this year with 10 or more carries from Tyler Algier. And this would be the perfect spot for them to use them like that.
And then I have Tony Pard on my bench. Thank god I don't have to start this bum this week. Um again, you have the Tennessee Titans as 14 point dogs and Taji Spears is taking work.
Um, Troy Franklin could be interesting because it's a really good matchup against the Dallas Cowboys, but again, realistically probably don't want to start him.
Um, Jaylen Nol and Jaden Higgins, if they were just going to step into the Nico Collins and Christian Kirk rolls one for one, I'd be a lot more excited to put them in my lineup. But realistically, you're going to see a lot of these routes get divided between a lot of no-name wide receivers here, not just the rookies.
Alec Aommanor will be our next option if we are looking at him. I think you can get excited about what we had earlier in the year, but again, the Titans project as two touchdown dogs to the Indianapolis Colts. Horrible offense. He hasn't done anything as of late. Even if you have Ridley and um Tyler Lockett out, there's like no reason to get excited.
Um Alec Pierce is going to be less exciting now that you have Josh DS back in.
Xavier Legette, I really hope for my underdog basketball teams he does something because God knows Quinton Johnston didn't do anything this week. So leg buddy I need you to repeat last week but it's just not going to happen.
Um Sterling Shepard I have no faith in now that Ibuka's 100%.
RJ Harvey is just the receiving back in Denver. Nick Chub looks like he's lost his job as well to Woody Marks. But I think that's all I have for you. I really hope I was able to help you out in some way with this.
